In a large lower panel, a fierce lion ridden by a bearded man in a helmet growls loudly. They realize the harbor is now clear and the pirates are headed for the western harbor. Smoker, drenched and furious, growls that it is as if the heavens want the boy to survive and questions if the winds are a coincidence. He declares, "ON THE PRIDE OF A MARINE HEADQUARTERS CAPTAIN, I, SMOKER THE WHITE HUNTER, VOW TO NOT ALLOW THAT BOY TO ESCAPE THIS ISLAND!" The page ends with the caption ""WORST IN THE EAST" (END)".
