On the open sea, a small ship sails as voices shout "YOU DEFINITELY SHOULDN'T THROW IT AWAY!!" and "IF YOU DO THAT, I'LL GO LOOKING FOR IT EVEN IN THE DEPTHS OF THE OCEAN!!" followed by "DON'T THROW THAT AWAY...!!!!" and "THE SUNNY IS SAILING SMOOTHLYI". In the next scene, Sanji stands over a soaked Luffy who yells while holding a black object, with dialogue: "HE WAS THE ONLY ONE OF THEM WHO CAME INTO CONTACT WITH US, AFTER ALL." Zeus the cloud sheep appears, exclaiming, "BWAH- BEING INSIDE THAT TACT... IT'S AMAZING." Nami shows off her weapon, declaring, "IS THE COMBINATION OF SKY SCIENCE AND USOPP'S TECHNOLOGY! MY SORCERY CLIMA-TACT..." Sanji angrily confronts Zeus, "I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU'D CHOOSE FOOD OVER YOUR LOYALTIES... ZEUS, YOU ACTUALLY CAME WITH US!I" Zeus replies nervously, "...OKAY, BUT I LIVE INSIDE OF THE WEAPON THAT SHE ALWAYS CARRIES AROUND. I'VE OBTAINED A STRONG SLAVE~" Sanji explodes in rage, "SANJI-SAN, YOU'RE COMPETING WITH WATER VAPOUR... HAAAAAAAH!!!" and roars, "IN ANY CASE, YOU SHOULD KNOW THIS. I WAS HER SLAVE LONG BEFORE YOU CAME AROUND!!!"

The crew reacts to the newspaper. Someone shouts, "HEY EVERYONE, THE NEWSPAPER'S HERE!!" Nami reads aloud, "DON'T EVER MENTION THE NAMES GERMA 66 OR VINSMOKE IN FRONT OF ME, AGAIN!!" Sanji yells, "SHUT UP!! I'M NOT PART OF GERMA!!" while struggling with the weapon, "HEY, SANJI!! I CAN'T GET THIS THING TO WORK AT ALL!! TRY IT OUT AND LET US SEE HOW IT WORKS!! YOU MUST BE THE ONLY ONE THAT CAN USE IT!!" The paper reports, "HMM... IT SAYS, 'LUFFY, SANJI, JINBE, AND BEGE ATTEMPTED TO ASSASSINATE BIG MOM.' AT LOOK AT THIS!! IT SAYS THAT LUFFY WAS THE RING-LEADER!" Nami exclaims, "WOAH!! AND LOOK!! LUFFY'S PICTURE IS ON HERE!!" Sanji stares in horror at his own bounty poster: "VINSMOKE SANJI" with a bounty of 330,000,000 berries. He cries, "330 MILLION... SERIOUSLY!I" while Usopp notes, "AH, THERE'S SOME BOUNTY POSTERS HERE, TOO!!"

Luffy stares at the poster in shock. "HMI WHAT'S WRONGI" Usopp reads, "THEY PRINTED IT AS... VINSMOKE SANJI!!!!" Sanji's poster shows the name crossed out with "MY NAME..." and a new bounty of 330,000,000. Usopp yells, "YEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSS!!! TAKE THAT, YOU SHITTY MOSS HEAAAAADDDDDD!!!" while noting Luffy's bounty rose to 320 million. Luffy's poster reads "DEAD OR ALIVE MONKEY D. LUFFY 150,000,000" but he mutters, "MY BOUNTY WENT DOWN..." Usopp panics, "Luffy-san, what's wrongI...THEY GAVE ME THAT CURSED GERMA NAME..." Luffy collapses dramatically, "HUUUUH!!!I THERE'S AN EVEN MORE DEPRESSING AURA OVER THERE!!" Nami tries to console him, "NAMI-SAN, LUFFY IS OUR CAPTAIN. IF IT'S THIS LOW, OUR REPUTATION WILL BE... THIS IS FOR THE BEST, ISN'T ITI THE SMALLER IT IS, THE LESS PEOPLE THAT WILL COME AFTER US." Sanji screams, "IT WAS 500 MILLION BEFORE!! YOU'RE RIGHT!! HOW IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE...!I" while Usopp wails, "DAAAAAAMNIT!!! WHYYYYYYYYY!!!"

News spreads across the seas. A voice announces, "HE FINALLY DID IT-JAMON!! JINBE FINALLY JOINED LUFFY-KUN'S CREW!!" The narration states, "THE WORLD IS PREPARING FOR THE REVERIE... FISHMAN ISLAND - THE RYUGU KINGDOM..." On the island, citizens discuss, "WELL, THEN WE HAVE NO OTHER OPTION BUT TO DECLARE THIS COUNTRY UNDER THE STRAW HAT CREW'S PROTECTION!! THEY MUST HAVE... BIG MOM IS PROBABLY SEEING RED RIGHT NOW... I WONDER IF THEY ESCAPED ON THE SAME SHIP... I CAN'T BELIEVE THEY GOT TOGETHER AND STARTED A FIGHT WITH BIG MOM..." A large figure cries, "FATHER!! BIG BROTHERS!!...!!!" The king laughs, "...HOH, HOH, HOH!! WE'VE BEEN WAITING FOR YOU. ALRIGHT, LET'S GO!!" A young mermaid princess tearfully declares, "I... I WILL GO WITH YOU!! IF I DON'T GO TO THE REVERIE, LUFFY-SAMA WILL CALL ME WEAK-HOSHI AGAIN."

Newspapers spread across the world declaring that Straw Hat Luffy has bared his fangs at Big Mom, the Emperor whose position has not wavered in decades. The event was reported widely. With the legacy of his brother Ace behind him and the fact that he is a sworn brother of the second-in-command of the Revolutionary Army, Luffy has become a hot topic everywhere. One report states that with one of them being a great captain that commands a fleet of 5000 subordinates, Straw Hat Luffy has seven powerful pirate crews serving under his flag. According to certain sources, with his intelligence he carefully planned the operation and in the process destroyed the Queen's castle. The evil army of Germa, the Sun Pirates, and the Fire Tank Pirates followed his commands without delay. With his extraordinary charisma and leadership he was able to convince them all.

A massive headline proclaims "THE FIFTH EMPEROR OF THE SEA HAS EMERGED!!" Fleet Admiral Sakazuki receives the report at Marine Headquarters. Narration explains that Straw Hat Luffy's victory is surely because his strength allowed him to defeat two commanders worth over 800 million berries respectively. While on their way to the Reverie, the Lulusia Kingdom's ship was attacked by pirates and Princess Komane has been kidnapped. In a lively room, pirates celebrate: "They mentioned us too! Ehehehe!" "As expected of our boss!" "Luffyland is amazing-resu!!" "Hey, have you read this yetI Luffy's in the news!!" "Grandfather!!" One warns, "Once we get to the Holy Land, you cannot speak of this. Do you understandI" Another replies, "Oh, that's right!! We're pirates now!!"

At sea, voices note the approaching ships of Dressrosa and Prodence Kingdoms with no Marine escorts. "There's no mistaking it..." A close-up shows a grinning face and the sound "UHFUFUFU!" Inside, a woman with long dark hair is discussed: "I wonder what kind of ransom we could get if we kidnapped herI" "UHIIIH!!!" "That... that's Princess Viola! She's just as beautiful as they say." The pirates cheer wildly: "GYAHA HAHA!! This is why I love royalty!!" "He'll give you as much money as you want!!" "WAAAH! Hurry up and contact Papa already!" "Right!I Princess Komane." A massive torpedo launches with the cry "UNBLOCKABLE TORPEDO, FIREEEEEE!!" The impact explodes violently as someone yells "SINK THEM!!" and "ROGER!!" Underwater, a star-shaped projectile races forward amid bubbles and debris. On the surface, a figure reacts with "HMI" as the sea churns. A final massive splash reveals a large white mass bearing the kanji "正義" (Justice) as it crashes through the waves with heavy impact sounds.

A massive underwater explosion erupts beside a Marine warship, sending up a huge plume of water and smoke. "SHOOM!!" A hand grips a hilt as the blast rocks the vessel. On deck, Marines react in shock. "!!I" A huge SFX erupts as the ship tilts violently. One Marine clutches his head, screaming "UGHNNNNN!!" From the bridge, an officer shouts, "NO!! THERE'S NO NEED!!" Another replies, "YES, SIR!! READY THE CANNONS!!" A crewman yells, "IS IT AN AMBUSH!I" The captain stares in confusion, "HM!I"

Koby arrives dramatically on the deck, cape billowing and goggles on his forehead, sweating heavily. "I'M GLAD I MADE IT IN TIME!! IT'S ALRIGHT NOW." He pants, "HUFF... HUFF..." Nearby, an elderly man with a long beard asks, "THIS IS THE DRESSROSA AND PRODENCE GROUP, RIGHTI" A kneeling man wonders, "WHAT HAPPENED JUST NOWI HOW DID YOU GET HEREI" A woman questions, "IS ANYONE HURTI" Koby is labeled "MARINE HQ - CAPTAIN KOBY." Helmeppo, wearing goggles, calls out, "HOW ARE YOU DOING OVER THERE, HELMEPPO-SANI" Koby answers, "JUST NOW, THIS SHIP WAS TARGETED BY PIRATES THAT WERE UNDER THE SEA. WERE THEY SHOOTING A TORPEDO!I THANK GOODNESS THEY MISSED." He adds, "I HAVE A SHIP, OF COURSE. ALTHOUGH, IT'S A LITTLE BEHIND WHERE WE ARE. THANK YOU FOR MAKING THIS LONG JOURNEY!!!"

The elderly man explains, "THEY WERE USING A SUBMARINE... WE CANNOT LET OUR GUARDS DOWN WHEN IT COMES TO PIRATES THESE DAYS..." Koby states, "I'VE CAPTURED ALL OF THE PIRATES!! PRINCESS KOMANE IS ALSO UNHARMED!!" He adds, "THAT WAS CLOSE." Helmeppo, labeled "MARINE HQ - LIEUTENANT COMMANDER HELMEPPO," points forward with his weapon and declares, "I'M GOING TO SKEWER THESE BASTARDS TOGETHER AND ROAST THEM OVER A FIRE!! UNFORTUNATIVABLE!! THEY WILL DEFINITELY BE PUNISHED SEVERELY, PRINCESS." A bound pirate lies defeated nearby. Koby is praised, "YOU'RE THE HERO THAT PROTECTED ALL OF THE CITIZENS IN THE ROCKY PORT INCIDENT!" and "YOU! YOU'RE THE FAMOUS CAPTAIN KOBY!!" Koby replies modestly, "BUT ANYWAY... KOBY!! WHAT THE HELL IS UP WITH YOUR COLOUR OF OBSERVATION!I I WASN'T ABLE TO SENSE A THING."

Koby reacts in panic, "HUHI AH!! IT'S LUFFY-SAN!!" A woman exclaims, "NO, I MEAN... STRAW HAT LUFFY IS ALL OVER THE NEWSPAPER!!" Koby pleads, "PLEASE DON'T CALL ME A HERO!!" while thinking, "I IMAGINED YOU TO BE A GREAT BIG PERSON, BUT YOU'RE JUST A GOOD YOUNG MAN!! HE WON'T EVEN TAKE CREDIT FOR PREVENTING THE TORPEDO FROM HITTING US..." A man notes, "WOAH... THIS GUY IS STRONG." Elsewhere, a goggled figure reads a newspaper excitedly, "THIS IS SO COOL... AS EXPECTED, LUFFY-SAN IS... MOVING AHEAD ONE STEP AT A TIME....!! WHEN I SEE YOU IN THE NEWSPAPER LIKE THIS... I'M REMINDED OF THE EVENTS OF THAT DAY...!!" A girl asks, "DO YOU WANT TO READ IT, KOBY-SANI" Koby stammers, "NO, NO... WELL... UM... UH..." The girl grins, "LET'S HAVE A CHAT ABOUT IT." Koby protests, "NO!! HE... HE'S AN ENEMY, I PROMISE." She continues, "I BET YOU'RE A FAN OF LUCY, KOBY-KUN!" A voice calls, "ROGER!! WE'LL BE ARRIVING AT NEW MARINEFORD SHORTLY!!! WE WILL FOLLOW CLOSE BEHIND YOU AND ESCORT YOU THERE!!" Helmeppo shouts, "HEY, CAPTAIN KOBY! WHAT ARE YOU DOING!I COME BACK TO THE SHIP ALREADY!!"

A furious close-up shows a bird-like man snarling, "IN THAT OLD HAG'S TERRITORYI WHY WAS THE BASTARD THAT INTERFERED WITH MY TRADE..." Below, silhouettes stand before a torn newspaper headlined "BIG MOM ASSASSINATION ATTEMPT." One figure exclaims, "AN EMPEROR...I" while another laughs "ZEHA HAHAHA HA..." A voice warns, "IT'S STILL TOO SOON FOR YOU, STRAW HAT...!!!" On a rocky cliff overlooking the sea, a lone figure watches birds fly as distant voices react to the news: "THIS NEWS... HE IS DEFINITELY THE ONE WHO DID THIS, MAMA!!" "WHEN EXACTLY DID I LOSEEEE EEE!I THE VICTOR!!I HAAAAAH!!!" "WHOLE CAKE ISLAND." Another warns, "YOU BETTER WATCH YOUR BACK, MORG- NO... THE ONE WHO SHOULD WATCH THEIR BACK IS YOU, STRAW HAAAAAATT!!!" A quiet voice notes, "...IT LOOKS LIKE WE'LL BE ABLE TO MEET SOON."

Explosive reactions erupt as characters scream "WHAAAAAAA!!!" and "EEEEE EEEHHHHHHH!!!" with the note "THE IMPACT SPREADS ACROSS THE SEAS!!!!" A massive WANTED poster dominates the page, declaring "YOUR BOUNTY...!!!" for "DEAD OR ALIVE MONKEY D. LUFFY 1,500,000,000" and proclaiming "IS 1.5 BILLION!!!" A close-up shows Luffy grinning confidently as someone says "LUFFY." Narration states, "AS THE WORLD HEADS TOWARDS THE REVERIE, THIS GROUP HEADS TOWARDS THE WANO COUNTRY..."
