Another shouts "LET'S TAME THAT BIG OCTOPUS AND HAVE HIM PULL OUR SHIP!" Luffy's voice answers "WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY, LUFFYI!!" In the lower panel Luffy leans over the railing with wide eyes, staring at the enormous creature while a crewmate in a hat cries out "LOOK A BIT CLOSER!!! Crew members scream in panic while the beast's suckers grip the hull. Someone yells "BLUUR BLBLBL BLBL...!!!!" as the creature's bulk towers over the deck. A huge impact sends the ship reeling with "IP!!" and "GHAAA AAAA HHHH!!" echoing. In the next panels the kraken's head looms close; a crewman shouts "NGUA AAAHH HHHH!!!" while another voice cries "MOO DOO!!" The monster's tentacles thrash wildly. Zoro glares upward and roars "SHADDUP, RORONOA!!!" as the crew stares at the jellyfish-like forms drifting nearby. A desperate voice wails "AAAAA RGHHH!! MY MEE EEEN!!!" while narration boxes note that the kraken crushed a ship bigger than the Sunny in an instant and destroyed the bubble coating.

Sanji and Luffy argue fiercely; Sanji snaps "QUIT IT, YOU TWO!!! BIG ATTACKS WILL JUST BREAK THE BUBBLE!!" A voice cries out in alarm. Franky counters with a powerful strike, shouting "ROCKET LAUNCHER!!!" as a massive projectile launches. Luffy screams in agony nearby, "AAAAAAAAHH HHHHHHHH!!!" The blast connects, and Franky declares, "THAT'S WHAT I CALL FIRE-POWER!!!" The explosion sends the kraken reeling. "THAT BLASTED IT AWAY!!!" someone cheers. But the danger persists: "NO - THERE IS STILL ANOTHER TENTACLE COMING!!"
