Perospero tries to stop Big Mom from destroying the very cake she wants. Riding with her across the sea, he yells, "WAIT WAIT WAIT! STOP!" and warns, "HOLD ON A MINUTE, MAMA! AT THIS RATE, YOU'RE GONNA SINK THE CAKE, TOO!" Big Mom ignores him and keeps roaring for the wedding cake, "WEDDDIIIIIING" and "CAAA AAAAA AAA," while the chase continues. Perospero calls after her, "MAMA!" as the Sunny's crew scrambles in the distance with "HURRY!" and "OKAY!" Big Mom's eyes are wild and fixed only on hunger. Even her own son cannot reason with her, because the cake matters only as an object of obsession, not as something that must survive the pursuit.

The maneuver has begun, and survival now depends on Jinbe's control inside the wave.

Inside the wave, the Sunny enters the Green Room. The crew realizes they are not crushed but carried within a hollow space in the breaking water. Chopper cries, "WE'RE INSIDE THE WAVE?!" and Jinbe explains the phenomenon: "THE 'GREEN ROOM' IS THE SHORT-LIVED SPACE MADE INSIDE THE CREST OF A BREAKING WAVE. A WAVE ROOM! FISHMAN CHILDREN LOVE PLAYING IN IT." Nami, astonished, says, "SO THIS IS THE OTHER SIDE, HUH... IT'S PRETTY..." The ship rides through the curling tunnel, and Jinbe praises them: "WE'VE GOT A FINE SHIP AND A FINE NAVIGATOR. WITH THE RIGHT STEERING, THIS SHIP'S INVINCIBLE!" The Sunny begins to emerge, with the crew shouting, "WE'RE COMING OUT NOW! HOLD ON!"

The crew survives the wave. Nami realizes what Jinbe has done and says, "HE'S CONTROLLING THIS SLOOP LIKE IT'S JUST AN EXTENSION OF HIMSELF! AMA-ZING..." Chopper asks, "SO WE'RE NOT DYING?!" and praises him, "YOU'RE SO COOL, JINBE!" The Sunny shoots out of the wave's tunnel while Big Mom and Perospero remain behind. Perospero laughs off the attempt, "KUKU-KU... WAHAHA! WELL, WHATEVER." Big Mom is still lost in the same demand, crying, "WEEEDDIIING." Perospero turns the chase back into contempt and shouts, "EAT THIS, YOU ANTS!" The crew has survived absolute disaster, but Big Mom's side still refuses to let the ship escape.

In the mirror world, Perospero contacts Katakuri and declares victory too soon. He calls, "PEROSPERO HERE!" and says, "OI, KATAKURI! WE'RE DONE OVER HERE!" Luffy, listening from the mirror side, panics, "OI, NAMI! BROOK?! CARROT?!" Perospero says, "NO NEED! SADLY, THEIR SHIP HAS SUNK TO THE BOTTOM OF THE OCEAN. OH, DEAR... WE WERE JUST ABOUT TO INVADE THE SHIP, TOO!" But the mirror does not show water on the other side. A Charlotte soldier notices, "WHA-?! THAT'S STRANGE, SISTER. THE OTHER SIDE OF THIS MIRROR DOESN'T LOOK LIKE IT'S UNDERWATER." Then the mirror breaks with a crash, and Brulee cries, "SISTER! THE MIRROR, IT JUST..." Katakuri watches in silence, realizing the claim of victory is uncertain.

On the Sunny, Nami breaks the mirror link despite the pain of cutting off Luffy. Brook cries, "NAMI! THE MIRROR! WHY'D YOU-" and Chopper realizes, "NAMI! LUFFY CAN'T COME BACK HERE ANYMORE!" Luffy, however, knows what really happened. He calls into a remaining connection, "OI! LUFFY! I NEED TO TALK TO YOU. GET AWAY FROM THE OTHERS." Then the Straw Hats answer from the ship. Chopper asks, "ARE YOU GUYS OKAY?!" and Luffy says, "OI! STRAW HATS..." The crew responds, "EVERY-ONE'S OKAY, LUFFY."

The crew reports their survival and plan to Luffy. Brook tells him, "LUFFY! WE BROKE ALL THE MIRRORS ON BOARD!" Chopper adds, "WE THOUGHT WE WERE GONNA SINK, TOO! BUT JINBE DID SOMETHING CRAZY!" and Brook says, "THAT CANDY GUY SAID THAT THE SUNNY SANK!" Luffy answers, "OKAY! I'M GLAD!" Nami then makes the cost explicit: "NOW, NO ENEMIES CAN COME BOTHER US HERE, BUT YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO GET BACK, EITHER!" Luffy, still smiling through exhaustion, says, "YEAH. THAT'S FINE!
