Raigou

A small ship labeled "MAX" flies through the clouds above Giant Jack. A voice says, "Ahh." The ship trails smoke as a long twisting vine-like structure connects downward. A character with a three-ringed staff stands on a cloud platform and declares, "I've finally arrived at the top of Giant Jack..." Sound effect: "ゴゴゴゴゴ..." The same figure continues, "Than God's Temple in search for something for at least 400 years... Now where could it be...I" Another voice replies, "Yes, I don't think anyone has ever come up even higher." In a lower panel, the character looks upward as a massive structure looms, with sound effect "RRRR...." A close-up shows a headband-wearing man asking, "Where is that golden bell...I"

Luffy plummets through a massive spiraling structure amid motion lines and impact effects, yelling "NGAAAHH!" Sound effects: "ドドドドドドドドド." Nearby panels show a fox-like creature panting "PANT PANT HUFF... HUFF..." Luffy lands with a determined glare, sweat and injuries visible, still breathing heavily "PANT PANT HUFF... HUFF..." He charges forward as debris flies and a massive coiled serpent-like entity emerges from clouds. Sound effects crash around him: "ドゴーン!!" and "ドドド..." Luffy shouts, "What the hell is this place!I"

Enel stands with his staff, observing, "To think he could come all the way up here lugging that thing behind him..." and "It's him, I see..." Luffy bursts into view with wide eyes and a fierce expression, exclaiming "THERE HE IS!" Sound effects emphasize the dramatic arrival. Enel, now shown with his full torso and drums visible, remarks "What a nuisance." Luffy yells "ENEL!" while lunging forward. Enel commands, "WAIT RIGHT THERE!" as impact effects and motion lines fill the panel.

High in the clouds, two ships drift near a massive spiraling stalk. A figure plummets from above with a sharp "†SLT..." as another voice cries "Aghh...! Whoa-". The stalk cracks violently under impact, sending debris flying. Luffy slips free with a loud "SLIP", plummeting while screaming "Yahahaha!" and "AGHHHHH!". Below, a goggle-wearing man with wild hair shouts in panic, "GET AWAY FROM THE STALK! SOMETHING'S FALLING DOWN THIS WAY!" Nearby allies react with "!!I" as one warns, "There's no way you can catch up to Enel all the way up there!" Another calls out desperately, "Wiper! It's no use even if you climbed up now!"

A colossal impact erupts as the massive stalk crashes down with thunderous "ドドドド" and "ズドーン" effects, kicking up clouds of debris. Scattered figures tumble across the ground amid the chaos. A voice yells, "Wiper! See, I told you! You're in no shape to climb up!" Another shouts in disbelief, "G-G-GUYS! YOU DON'T THINK LUFFY'S CORPSE ALSO FELL DOWN, DO YOU!I" while questioning, "The tip of the stalk...!I What's happening up thereI" A sweat-drenched man with a wide-eyed stare recalls, "THE BELL THAT... THE GREAT WARRIOR KALGARA DESPERATELY TRIED TO RING..." A dark-haired woman stares upward and murmurs, "IT'S RIGHT ABOVE ME... AT THE TOP..."

Luffy clings desperately to the towering stalk as massive chunks break away around him. He grits his teeth and growls, "DAMMIT!" A voice taunts from above, "Just how do you plan to climb all the way up here nowI" while the stalk sways with repeated "SWING SWING" motions. In a close-up, a grinning figure with a wide, menacing smile leans forward and offers, "Shall I show you something quite interesting...I" followed by a mocking laugh, "Yahahaha... Stay right there..."

An explosion rocks one of the floating ships with a bright "FLASH!" and billowing smoke. Luffy stands on the deck, startled, "HuhI" as another figure exclaims, "He's gone!" Far below on the stalk, Luffy looks up in surprise at a glowing sphere and asks, "What's thatI" A crackling sound effect "BZZZZT..." echoes through the clouds as a shocked "!!I" reaction fills the panel.

Luffy clings to the head of a massive snake coiled around a floating rock, panting heavily. "HUFF... HUFF..." "I'm... back up..." A huge impact sends a figure plummeting with a crash. "NGHHHH!" "ドズバァ!!" Luffy, bruised and determined, stares ahead. "I've gotta find a way. To get up on that ship..." Below, the crew reacts in shock as a cannon-like blast erupts. "GAHHH!" "ドギャーン!" "VRROOM!" "ACH-" Nami arrives on a waver with a small robot. "Ohh! Great! I've come to bring you back! Sanji and Usopp saved me after you fell!" Luffy's eyes widen in surprise. "Huh!I NamiI What're you doing here!I" Nami beams happily. "Luffy!"

Massive lightning clouds twist and reshape above the island. "What is that!I The lightning clouds are changing their shape!" "ゴゴゴゴゴ" "But more importantly-" "What!I" Nami stares in horror. "This is bad! There's a tremendous amount of electric charge and air current in that enormous lightning cloud...!" Gan Fall shouts warnings as the sky darkens. "THERE'S A HUGE BALL FLOATING UP IN THE SKY!" "THE SKY IS TURNING DARK!" "ESCAPE TO THE SEAS!" "TO THE SEAS!" Below, a warrior watches the forming sphere. "THIS IS A NIGHTMARE! THERE'S NO WAY SOMETHING SO TERRIFYING COULD EXIST FOR REAL!" "The lightning cloud became a sphere..." "It's right above... Angel Island...!" "Just what is he planning to do with that...I" "ゴゴゴ"

Enel grins widely atop the massive ark Maxim. "With the ark Maxim and my powers, I can even achieve this godly feat!" "Yahahaha! The world is mine to do as I please!" "!!" Below, panic spreads across Angel Island. "THE SKY IS FALLING!" "It's falling on Angel Island!" Citizens and warriors react in terror. A massive black sphere descends. "RAIGOU! (Coming of Lightning)" The enormous orb crashes downward with tremendous force. "ズズ...!!!" "!!!!"

The colossal lightning sphere slams into Angel Island, unleashing a devastating explosion of light, debris, and shockwaves that tear through the sky. "!!!!I" On the ground, Luffy, Nami, and the others brace against the blast. "ゴロゴロ" "ゴゴゴゴゴゴゴゴゴ" Ships rock violently in the turbulent clouds as the crew and islanders struggle to stay upright. The massive impact sends shockwaves across the entire area, scattering people and vessels amid the roaring thunder.

Thunderous rumbling fills the sky with "ゴゴオオオ...ン!!" as massive clouds churn violently. On the deck of a large ornate ship, shocked survivors stare at the devastation. "They helped us to evacuate...!" "Were the White Berets able to get awayI" "IN A FLASH, OUR ISLAND WAS...!I" "This can't be..." A massive panel reveals an enormous gaping hole torn through the sea clouds. "THE ISLAND WE WERE BORN ON... IS NOW GONE WITHOUT A TRACE!" "EVEN THE SEA CLOUDS ARE COMPLETELY GONE!" Debris and impact lines emphasize the total erasure of Angel Island.

Enel floats triumphantly on a thundercloud, arms spread wide. "Ah yes, what a splendid view..." "This is how the sky should be." "Yahahaha..." Below, survivors react in terror to the ongoing destruction. "I DON'T EVEN... THINK WE CAN MAKE IT OUT OF THIS ALIVE!" "WHAT WAS THAT EXPLOSION JUST NOW!I AND THE RAIN OF LIGHTNING'S SHOWING NO SIGNS OF STOPPING!" "ゴロゴロ..." A ruined landscape of toppled pillars and scorched earth stretches out. "How can you do something so wicked... ENEL!!!" "HE COMPLETELY DESTROYED... ANGEL ISLAND...!I" A young woman with light hair watches anxiously as the Going Merry drifts through the clouds amid rumbling "ゴゴゴゴゴ" sounds. "I HAVE TO GET TO IT... THAT THEY CAN SAFELY ESCAPE TO THE BLUE SEAS...!" "THAT WAS AN ENORMOUS RUMBLING... JUST NOW..."

Amid rumbling "ゴゴゴゴゴゴゴ" and swirling clouds, Nami shouts from the waver, "EVERYONE'S HEADING BACK TO THE SHIP!" "WE HAVE TO MEET THEM THERE!" "LUFFY! GET ON!" "WE HAVE TO GET DOWN!" Luffy stands firm on the cloud and simply replies, "No." Nami spins around in shock. "WHAT DO YOU MEAN 'NO!I' DO YOU KNOW WHAT YOU'RE SAYING!I" In a wide shot Luffy glares ahead, declaring, "Unfinished business!I What're you talking about!I Do you mean you have to get even with Enel!I" "The golden bell is somewhere up here in the sky!" "Even if I don't have to save you anymore, I still have unfinished business!"

Nami pleads desperately, "Didn't you see that explosion just now!I It doesn't matter even if you're immune to lightning! Enel now has the power to completely destroy Skypiea!" "If it's about the gold... Look, you've already got a giant ball of gold attached to your hand! So just give up on the golden bell! You'll die!" Luffy remains unmoved. Close-ups show Nami's wide-eyed panic: "See what!I" "YOU SAW IT TOO, DIDN'T YOU!I" "Be reasonable already!" "As if!" Luffy's face fills the final panel, eyes blazing as he roars, "IT WAS UP HERE ALL ALONG!" "THE CITY OF GOLD!"

Luffy, battered and bloodied, declares with fierce conviction, "It wasn't a lie." Nami reacts with surprise, "HuhI" In a series of panels, Luffy reflects on the man who ruined his life and the personal fight over whether the gold was real. He recalls Diamond-head's ancestor and the legendary City of Gold. Luffy stands dramatically before the massive ruins, shouting, "THAT THE CITY OF GOLD IS UP HERE IN THE SKY...! WASN'T A LIAR! SO WE HAVE TO TELL HIM AND THE MONKEYS BELOW US!" Nami watches with concern, exclaiming "!" as Luffy prepares to act.

Luffy yells desperately, "OTHERWISE, HE'S GOING TO KEEP DIVING UNTIL HE WRECKS HIS BODY AND DIES!" He resolves, "IF I CAN RING THE BELL, THEY SHOULD BE ABLE TO HEAR ME!" Nami pleads, "Luffy..." as Luffy continues, "A GIANT BELL'S RING SHOULD BE ABLE TO TRAVEL REALLY FAR! I WON'T LET ENEL TAKE THAT BELL NO MATTER WHAT!" In a massive close-up, Luffy roars with determination, "SO I'M GONNA STAY UP HERE! AND RING THE GOLDEN BELL!"
