A wide view of the Shandian village shows huts, a large statue of a warrior, and a spiraling smoke column. Narration states "The great warrior Kalgara." A boy with a headband stares in shock as a close-up shows an older man with a wide grin declaring "LIGHT THE FLAME OF SHANDORA." Below, a fierce warrior with wild hair roars "We are here..." while narration explains "For he believed the bell's ring would surely reach Noland's ears and tell him... He would be satisfied if he could even ring it once." A note reads "Continued on shouting..."

Inside a large tent, a young Wyper sits on the floor while an elder in striped clothing stands beside the Shandora bell. Speech reads "NOT EVEN ONCE..." and "HOWEVER, THE BELL WAS NOT RUNG." Narration continues: "Died back on the Blue Seas while proudly claiming the glory of Shandora. Our saviour Noland, Told us the other half of the story. Much later, sailors from North Blue who visited these sky islands, Until the very moment of his death... The more steadfast he became in his refusal to deny Shandora's existence, The more the people called him 'liar.'"

Narration recounts Kalgara's final moments: "Had died a most glorious death on the battlefield during his struggle to tell his friend that we were still here." Meanwhile, Kalgara too... In a dim chamber, an elder warrior demands, "Tell me... Chief." A young warrior in a headband replies with tears, "That was... The great warrior Kalgara's greatest regret...!" An older man adds, "But it was a fruitless struggle, because his feelings were never able to reach his one true friend..." The headband warrior, Wyper, suddenly roars with desperate intensity, "IF WE COULD RING THE BELL, WOULD THE MESSAGE STILL REACH NOLAND!I COULD THE BELL, STILL DELIVER ITS MESSAGEI"

A wide view of the ruined Upper Yard shows ancient ruins under stormy skies with the caption "AFTER ALL, HEAVEN IS NOT FAR FROM UP HERE..." Close-ups reveal a sweating, wide-eyed Wyper as voices call "WIPER! WIPER! WIPER!" A massive impact erupts; debris flies as someone shouts "WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE IF WE DON'T RUN AWAY!" Wyper's face hardens with grim resolve amid the chaos.

Lightning tears through the clouds as anguished voices cry, "TO STEAL EVERYTHING...!I" and "ENEL... WHAT GIVES YOU THE RIGHT..." Enormous kanji SFX "ゴゴゴゴゴゴゴゴ...!!!" and "ズズズズズズズ...ウン!!!" shake the sky while massive lightning pillars rip the earth apart. Below, panicked fighters yell "THIS IS THE END OF EVERYTHING!" and "He's not holding back at all! We gotta run away!" as one gasps "Oh crap!"

Enel looms with a manic grin, declaring "YOU ARE ALL AN EYESORE! HUMANS, TREES, AND EVEN THE EARTH! YOU SHOULD ALL RETURN TO WHENCE YOU BELONG!" He laughs wildly, "YAHAHAHA! THIS IS THE SKY, GOD'S TERRITORY!" and "YAHAHAHA! I AM GOD!" Below, warriors shout "FALL BACK DOWN!" and "You should be glad that you will now be returning there!" as Enel's massive ship-like construct unleashes devastating lightning that hurls people and vessels toward the Blue Sea with the command "BECOME RAIN THAT FALLS DOWN TO THE BLUE SEAS!"

A massive explosion rips through the village as debris flies everywhere. The giant sound effect ドゴォーン!! dominates the sky. Shattered buildings and burning wreckage litter the ground. In the aftermath, a lone figure stands amid the smoke. Smaller panels show the same figure watching the destruction, followed by a close-up of a spiky-haired warrior glaring furiously. Villagers react in panic. One shouts, "AGHHH! OUR VILLAGE! NAAAAA!" Another exclaims, "!!!!I" Two survivors reflect, "If we'd stayed any longer, we'd all be burnt bits by now..." and "That was close..."

Usopp yells desperately from the ship, "TAKE TO THE SEAS!" and "HURRY ON OUT TO THE SEAS! ANGEL ISLAND WILL SOON BE NO MORE!" A small panel adds, "To the seas!" Below, the massive evacuation unfolds with ships fleeing through clouds as the island crumbles. The sound effect ゴゴゴォォー!! echoes while people scream "わあああああ". Usopp continues, "There's no place to take shelter on this island!" A crew member replies, "Just get them on the ships and treat them there!" Someone calls out, "Cpt. McKinley! We've got wounded here!"

A figure stands defiantly on a cloud and declares, "I REFUSE TO RECOGNIZE ENEL AS A GOD!" Nearby, a man grits his teeth, "WHAT A DISASTER..." A massive blast erupts with the sound effect ドォーン!!. Conis, sweating and determined, says, "I HAVE TO GET BACK TO THEM!" A man wonders, "THERE ARE PEOPLE FOR WHOM THE WORD ESCAPE ISN'T IN THEIR DICTIONARIES!" Another thinks, "I WONDER IF SHE'S ALRIGHT...I" while reflecting, "BUT I CAN'T EVEN IMAGINE HOW MUCH WORSE THINGS WOULD BE NOW IF THAT GIRL WARNED US A MOMENT LATER...!" A huge explosion follows with ズドォォーン!!!

The Going Merry plummets through the clouds. A massive hole opens in the earth-like cloud mass. Conis stands with tears in her eyes and admits, "THE ONE WHO CALLED THE SUPER SPEEDY SHRIMP WAS ME!" She adds, "I'M SORRY!" A man shouts, "Planning to destroy every living thing in the sky!" Another voice says, "Enel is..." Pagaya and Conis are called out as voices cry, "Conis! Pagaya!" and "Naaaaawiii!!" An elder concludes, "Yes, the holy land will sing once more."

High above the clouds, a massive spiraling beanstalk-like structure rises as a small vessel plummets downward. Yahahaha... echoes from above. A brilliant sunburst illuminates the scene with the desperate cry FATHER! as tiny figures stand on the ground far below. The vessel crashes violently into the earth amid a massive explosion of dust and debris. The impact SFX グゴゴゴゴゴゴ rings out. A voice observes, Looks just like the mad scramble of ants! Another caption reads, The flight of the angels, as the ruined craft lies amid the wreckage with figures scattering around it.

The vessel and its occupants are violently hurled through the air amid massive impact SFX. A hand reaches desperately as someone screams AGHHH! and Return to your rightful place, Skypiea! Below, chaos erupts as people and debris fall through a newly formed hole in the White White Sea. AND PEOPLE ARE FALLING THROUGH! A hole appeared in the White White Sea! WhatI White Sea. Heaven's Gate. The same destruction strikes the city of Shandora below, with buildings crumbling and a massive SFX impact. Enel, seated on a massive snake-like form, laughs Yahahaha... It's "God's Temple," which I formerly made my residences... Well, I no longer have any use for you either...

Debris rains down a narrow canyon path as figures flee in panic. WATCH OUT! someone shouts amid flying rocks and dust. The ground shakes violently with massive impact SFX ビグゴゴゴ as an entire section of the ancient city collapses, buildings shattering and stone flying everywhere.

A colossal snake rears up before the ruins with the giant golden bell visible behind it. AND THAT IS THE GIANT GOLDEN BELL! Enel declares, There is only one thing left I want in this country...! Yes. Did I hear you clearly...I Golden bell!I A scarred man reacts with shock. The bell... he murmurs. WHAT'RE YOU PLANNING!I another voice demands as the group stares upward at the looming threat.

On the cloud-covered ruins, Robin points toward the massive vine and says, "See the giant stalk over there..." Sanji warns urgently, "WAIT! NOW'S NOT THE TIME FOR THIS! WE'VE GOTTA GET OUTTA HERE WHILE WE CAN!" Usopp panics, "How do you know... Just where it isI" Zoro adds, "And Enel is really flying towards it...!I" The group stares at the enormous stalk piercing the city. Robin notes, "And the giant stalk has pierced through the center of the city." Sanji observes, "Right below here are the ruins of Shandora..." Nami recalls, "SHE SAID SHE'D BE BACK WITH LUFFY SOON!" Usopp reminds them, "WE PROMISED NAMI WE'D WAIT FOR HER AT THE SHIP, DIDN'T WE!I" Gan Fall states, "The bell is above it." Luffy's crew reacts with shock as Robin explains the city's legendary golden bell. The narration states, "THE CITY OF GOLD'S SUPPOSED TO HAVE A HUGE BELL, RIGHT!I" Gan Fall concludes, "In other words, I can only come to the conclusion that the bell was dislodged from the city upon hitting the giant stalk and landed somewhere up higher. However, the bell was supposed to have also been located at the center of the city, according to a map of the ruins."

Gan Fall senses danger, muttering, "Hmm, I hear 2 voices... Approaching this way..." The massive beanstalk rumbles violently with SFX "ゴゴゴ RUMBLE..." and "ゴゴゴゴ". Nami clings to the stalk, thinking, "RUMBLE... But also... HUFF HUFF I hope Nami's alright..." She shouts in alarm, "Just how can he run so fast...!I" as Luffy races ahead at blinding speed. Luffy roars defiantly, "NO MATTER WHAT, ENEL! I WON'T LET YOU HAVE THAT GOLDEN BELL," charging forward with intense determination while Enel remains unseen ahead.
