STRAIGHT AHEAD!!!

A colossal giant goldfish, known as the Island-Devourer, bursts from the surface of the ocean, its massive mouth wide open and dwarfing the Going Merry sailing directly toward it. On the right side, panels show the giant warriors Dorry and Brogy. Dorry declares, "WE MUST NOT LET YOUR FLAG OF PRIDE BE TARNISHED EITHER...!" Brogy adds, "TRUST IN US AND SAIL STRAIGHT AHEAD! NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS, SAIL ONLY STRAIGHT AHEAD!" On the ship, the crew is terrified by the monstrous fish. Voices cry out, "AGHH!" and "WHAT IS THAT THING!? IS IT A SEA KING!?"

On the Going Merry, the crew reacts to the massive monster. Usopp, sweating nervously, says, "A GIANT GOLDFISH...? I FEEL LIKE I'VE HEARD OF THAT BEFORE..." Vivi, equally shocked, asks, "WHAT IN THE WORLD... IS THAT A GIANT... GOLDFISH!?" Nami screams in panic, "GRAB THE HELM OR WE'RE GOING TO BE SWALLOWED ALIVE!" The ocean rumbles around them with a "GOGOGOGO" sound effect. Usopp turns to Luffy, stammering, "RIGHT, LUFFY? R- WE'LL BE GOING STRAIGHT AHEAD!" Nami refuses, crying, "I... I WON'T! USOPP! HURRY!" Karoo quacks in distress. In the bottom panel, Luffy smiles confidently and simply replies, "YUP, YOU BET."

The Going Merry sails directly toward the dark, cavernous mouth of the giant goldfish as the sea roars. Nami yells, "DON'T BE RIDICULOUS! THIS IS COMPLETELY DIFFERENT THAN GETTING SWALLOWED BY LABOON!" Zoro, leaning casually against the cabin door, says, "YEAH, YEAH, JUST PIPE DOWN ALREADY. HERE, I'LL EVEN GIVE YOU THE LAST SENBEI." Nami angrily retorts, "I DON'T NEED ANY SENBEI! IF WE DON'T TURN THIS SHIP AROUND THIS INSTANT, WE'LL-" At the railing, Nami asks, "LUFFY! YOU SURE THOSE GIANTS ARE TRUST-WORTHY, RIGHT?" Luffy, standing calmly, answers, "YUP." Nami is then seen tearfully munching on the senbei, groaning "MMNGHH!" while Zoro tells her, "GIVE IT UP ALREADY. NAMI." As the ship enters the monster's jaws, Nami screams "KYAAAAAA!" Vivi panics, "OH NO! IT'S TOO LATE TO DO ANYTHING NOW!" Nami yells, "ARE YOU SERIOUS!? WE'RE REALLY GOING TO SAIL STRAIGHT INTO THAT MONSTER!?"

Brogy and Dorry watch the giant goldfish. Brogy notes, "THE MOST SURPRISING THING ISN'T THE SIZE OF THIS GOLDFISH... BUT RATHER THE SIZE OF THE FECES IT CRAPS OUT, AFTER SWALLOWING ISLANDS WHOLE!" Dorry grins, "WELL, WELL, WELL. HAVEN'T YOU GROWN QUITE A BIT, ISLAND-DEVOURER...?" A flashback shows the giant goldfish leaving behind a massive island-sized dropping. Dorry continues, "YES, CERTAINLY... FECES ENORMOUS ENOUGH TO BE CALLED THE 'VACANT ISLANDS.'" Brogy laughs heartily, "GEGYAGYA GYAGYA... I STILL REMEMBER THE TIME WE LANDED ON IT, MISTAKING IT FOR DRY LAND...!" Looking at the beast now, Dorry reminisces, "AYE, THOSE FOND DAYS OF ADVENTURE... THE MEMORIES COME FLOODING BACK WHEN I LOOK AT THEM...!"

Dorry and Brogy prepare to attack, their massive muscles flexing as they grip their weapons. Dorry states, "ONLY THE 'GREAT SERPENT SOAKED IN BLOOD' CAN WITHSTAND OUR ATTACKS!" Brogy adds, "BEHOLD THE MIGHTIEST SPEAR OF WE GIANTS OF ELBAF...!" On the ship, the crew braces themselves. Luffy yells, "STRAIGHT AHEAD!" Usopp echoes, "STRAIGHT AHEAD!" Nami cries out, "WHAT'RE YOU SCREAMING FOR! WE'VE ALREADY BEEN SWALLOWED ALIVE!" Zoro shouts, "STRAIGHT AHEAD! STRAIGHT AHEAD!" Sanji grunts, "NGHH!" The two giants swing their weapons forward with immense force toward the giant goldfish.

A massive double-page spread captures the devastating power of the giants' combined attack. The shockwave from their strike blasts a colossal, perfectly circular hole straight through the body of the giant goldfish. The attack is named "HAKOKU! (Supreme Kingdom!)". The Going Merry rides the surging wave of water directly through the massive tunnel created in the monster's flesh, safely passing through to the other side. The silhouettes of Dorry and Brogy can be seen in the distance through the opening.

The Going Merry launches out of the hole in the giant goldfish, soaring through the air on a geyser of water. Someone on the ship cheers, "WOOHOO! WE'RE FLYING!" Luffy looks back with a wide, amazed smile, exclaiming, "THEY'RE JUST SO... FREAKIN' BIG!" As the ship glides through the sky, a voice calls out, "DON'T TURN BACK NOW! FLY STRAIGHT AHEAD!"

The Going Merry crashes back down into the ocean with a massive splash. Someone marvels, "ABSOLUTELY STUNNING!" Usopp is shown crying tears of profound awe and joy, saying, "SO THIS IS... SNIFF THE POWER OF ELBAF'S WARRIORS...!" Another voice adds, "THEY CUT... THE OCEAN ITSELF..." On the shore of Little Garden, Dorry and Brogy stand tall, their weapons now completely shattered from the force of their attack. Brogy commands, "NOW GO!"

Brogy laughs his signature laugh, "GABABA BABABA!" while Dorry joins in with "GEGYAGYA GYAGYAGYA!" The silhouettes of the two giants are seen waving their broken weapons as the Going Merry sails away into the distance. Narration boxes begin to tell their history: "LONG AGO, THERE WAS A GROUP OF ROWDY WARRIORS, CALLED THE WARRIOR-GIANT PIRATES." The shattered remains of their sword and axe are shown resting on the ground. The narration continues: "THE TWO OVERWHELMINGLY STRONG CAPTAINS OF THIS PIRATE CREW, WERE 'BROGY THE RED OGRE' AND 'DORRY THE BLUE OGRE.'"

A flashback shows a massive Viking ship belonging to the giant pirates. Narration reads: "AS THESE GIANTS WREAKED HAVOC ACROSS THE WORLD. MERE HUMANS COULD ONLY HELPLESSLY WATCH BY, WAS A SINGLE LITTLE HUMAN GIRL." The giant crew is shown celebrating around two massive sea kings they have hunted. One giant asks, "DID YOU SEE OUR CAPTAINS' CATCH TODAY!?" Another replies, "YOU BET! I DON'T THINK I'LL EVER BE ABLE TO FORGET A CATCH THAT BIG!" Narration continues: "IN THE END, WHAT STOPPED THESE RAMPAGING GIANTS..." The little human girl looks up and asks a question. The giant crew boasts, "EACH OF OUR CAPTAINS JUST TOOK DOWN THOSE ENORMOUSLY HUGE SEA KINGS!" "EVEN IF WE ARE GIANTS OF ELBAF, THE ONLY ONES THAT CAN TAKE CARE OF MONSTERS THAT BIG... ARE OUR CAPTAINS! ISN'T THAT RIGHT, MY BROTHERS!?" "YOU SAID IT! THEY WERE OUR FINEST CATCH!" "GABABABABA! I GOTTA SAY, IN ALL MY YEARS, I'VE NEVER SEEN SEA KINGS THAT BIG!"

The little human girl innocently asks the two captains, "SO WHICH ONE, WAS BIGGER?" Dorry and Brogy look down at her, completely stunned by the question. They repeat, "WHICH... ONE...?" The two massive sea kings, one spotted and one dark, are laid out on the island. Brogy points and says, "BROGY, LOOK! MINE CLEARLY SEEMS TO BE THE BIGGER ONE!" Dorry angrily retorts, "HOGWASH! MY CATCH IS EXACTLY 3CM BIGGER!" Brogy yells back, "WHAT DID YOU SAY!?" A crewmate tries to intervene, pleading, "PLEASE STOP ARGUING, CAPTAINS!"

The scene transitions back to the present on Little Garden, showing the massive, moss-covered skeletons of the two sea kings. Dorry and Brogy sit peacefully. Dorry says, "THERE'S SOMETHING I CAN'T QUITE SEEM TO RECALL. BY THE WAY, BROGY." Brogy replies, "YOU KNOW, THE SAME GOES FOR ME TOO..." The center volcano erupts with a loud boom. They both notice, "AH. THE CENTER VOLCANO..." The skeletons are shown again as Dorry declares, "WELL, WHATEVER! LET'S SETTLE THINGS ONCE AND FOR ALL TODAY!" Brogy agrees, "YES! WE CAN THINK THINGS OUT AFTER THAT!" The narration concludes: "SUCH THINGS, WERE EVENTS OF A LONG, LONG TIME AGO."

The Going Merry sails calmly on the open sea. Narration states: "MEANWHILE, HAVING DEPARTED FROM LITTLE GARDEN, THE SHIP SAILS CALMLY ALONG." Usopp stands on the deck, declaring passionately, "GUYS LISTEN! ONE DAY! I SWEAR! I'LL VISIT ELBAF AND THE VILLAGE OF WARRIORS!" He and Luffy start dancing joyfully together, singing, "EL~ BAF BAF~ EEEHHHL~ BAAAAHHFFFFFF~ WHERE EV'RYONE IS GIGANTIC~ 'CAUSE THEY'RE GIANTS~" Someone says, "ALRIGHT, USOPP! WE'LL GO FOR SURE ONE DAY! TO THE HOME OF THOSE GIANTS!" Nami watches them and sighs, "AREN'T THOSE TWO LIVELY..." Vivi is holding the log pose. Nami looks exhausted and says, "I DON'T KNOW ABOUT YOU GUYS, BUT I FEEL EXHAUSTED FROM ALL THAT EARLIER.. VIVI... CAN YOU KEEP AN EYE ON THE LOG POSE?"

Vivi smiles warmly and says, "WITH THIS, IT LOOKS LIKE WE CAN FINALLY GO TO ALABASTA." She continues, looking determined, "YES... I HAVE TO RETURN NO MATTER WHAT... AFTER ALL... I FINALLY FOUND A WAY TO SAVE ALABASTA..." Nami, sitting nearby, cautions her, "WELL, THAT'S ONLY IF, THERE'S NO FURTHER TROUBLE..." Vivi remembers a conversation with Igaram. In the flashback, Igaram holds her shoulders and says, "YOU ARE THE ONLY ONE WHO CAN ACCOMPLISH THIS, PRINCESS! PRESENTLY, THE PEOPLE HAVE LOST FAITH IN YOUR FATHER, THE KING...! THERE IS NO OTHER WAY TO QUELL THIS REBELLION, THAN TO TELL THE PEOPLE THE TRUTH DIRECTLY FROM YOUR MOUTH! SO YOU ABSOLUTELY MUST NOT DIE!"

The flashback continues with Igaram looking intensely serious. He tells Vivi, "NO MATTER HOW MANY PEOPLE SACRIFICE THEMSELVES FOR YOU... NO MATTER HOW MANY PEOPLE YOU MUST BETRAY... YOU MUST SURVIVE AT ALL COSTS! THE PATH AHEAD OF YOU IS SURELY A MOST DIFFICULT ONE... AND SO I ASK, ARE YOU PREPARED TO NOT LET YOURSELF PERISH...?" Back in the present, Vivi looks resolute, thinking, "I HAVE TO SURVIVE, AND RETURN TO ALABASTA...!" Behind her, a shadow shows Nami collapsing to the floor as Nami says, "NO NEED TO STRAIN YOURSELF, VIVI." Sanji suddenly appears, offering a tray of treats. "BECAUSE I'LL BE BY YOUR SIDE! NOW HOW WOULD YOU LIKE SOME PETITS FOURS AS TODAY'S SNACK? FOR DRINKS, WE HAVE COFFEE OR TEA.." Vivi, shocked, notices Nami on the ground and says, "SANJI..."

Sanji tells Luffy and Usopp, "WOOHOO! YOUR SHARES ARE IN THE KITCHEN." The two immediately start drooling with wide eyes and tongues hanging out. Meanwhile, Zoro is shirtless and sweating profusely, lifting heavy weights. He counts, "2603...!! 2604...!!" He thinks to himself, "IF ONLY I COULD HAVE CUT THAT 'CANDLE-WAX'... THEN THERE WOULDN'T HAVE BEEN ANY TROUBLE. STILL WEAK..." He then starts swinging the heavy barbell like a sword, determined. "MUST GET... STRONGER.. SO I CAN EVEN CUT THROUGH IRON...!"

At the Port of Sandy Island in the Alabasta Kingdom, a flamboyant ship with swan decorations is docked. A subordinate calls out, "MR. 2 - BON CLAY! THE SWANDA IS READY TO SET SAIL." Mr. 2 Bon Clay, striking dramatic ballet poses, complains loudly, "FIIIIINE, FIIIIINE, JUST PIPE DOWN ALREADY! JEEZ LOUISE! WHY DO I HAVE TO GO!? CAN'T YOU BOYS TAKE CARE OF LITTLE OL' MR. 3?" His subordinates panic, "T-THERE'S NO WAY! EVEN IF ALL OF US ATTACKED HIM AT ONCE, IT'D BE IMPOSSIBLE!" Bon Clay spins into a grand pose, revealing the words "Way of the Okama" on his coat. He whines, "OH, POOIE! MR. 0 CAN BE SO BOTHERSOME!" A subordinate begs, "P-PLEASE SIR...! IT'S THE BOSS' ORDER!"

Back on the Going Merry, Vivi kneels beside the collapsed Nami. Vivi says, "IT'S FINE. I'LL BE KEEPING A CLOSE EYE ON THE LOG POSE. SO JUST GO TO YOUR ROOM AND TAKE A NICE R..." She suddenly stops, shocked by what she feels. "WHA-!?" She turns and yells to the rest of the crew, "EVERYONE! IT'S AN EMERGENCY!" Luffy, his mouth full of food, asks, "WHAT IS IT, VIVI!?" Zoro, still sweating from his workout, looks over. Vivi reveals Nami's condition, who is panting heavily and covered in sweat. Vivi cries out, "NAMI'S FALLEN DOWN WITH... AN EXTREMELY HIGH FEVER...!"
