Memories of the day Scarlett died come to Viola's mind. Soldiers report to King Riku, "My apologies, King Riku! Our desperate search was in vain... We were beaten to the punch by a man named Diamante... Lady Scarlet, she... she was found in the city, shot!" Diamante laughs that if Scarlett had ignored her stomach a little longer she would still be alive, revealing she had been stocking up on food in the city market. Viola realizes Scarlett was her sister, then tries to run off, shouting, "Let go of me, Tank!" The soldiers beg her not to be rash and promise to remain in the palace and protect her.
In the present at the Sunflower Field, Diamante falls after Kyros's attack. His body strikes a wooden post with a sharp "snap," and he lies defeated among the flowers. Kyros stands nearby, breathing heavily, while the battlefield quiets after the finishing blow. The page has very little dialogue, emphasizing Diamante's collapse and the silence after Kyros's revenge.

Kyros, still badly wounded, tells Robin, "I am in your debt, Robinland." Rebecca smiles through tears as Robin replies with a gentle smile. A flower-hand protection rustles away, and Robin gives only a quiet pause in response. In the background, Scarlett's sword begins to roll across the field. The page shifts from the battle's violence to the quiet relief shared by Kyros, Rebecca, and Robin.

Rebecca runs toward Kyros and shouts, "Father... you must get those wounds treated!" Scarlett's sword rolls to a stop near them, and Rebecca notices it with a soft "Wha..." A memory echoes, "I shall always... be by your side!" The sword and the grave marker connect Rebecca's mother to the present victory. Kyros, Rebecca, and Robin stand together in the sunflower field, with Diamante defeated behind them.

Across Dressrosa, word spreads that Diamante has been defeated. A voice asks, "Are you sure, Lady Viola?" and Viola answers, "Yes... Kyros nii-sama won! Rebecca's also unharmed! Nico Robin protected her!" The citizens react in disbelief, calling Kyros the original undefeated hero of the Colosseum and wondering if the Donquixote Family is really crumbling one member at a time. Others cry out, "Commander Kyros!" as his victory becomes public knowledge.

Viola reports that beginning with Senor Pink, the other executives have also been defeated by the warriors supporting Straw Hat Luffy. She says the remaining upper-tier members of the Donquixote Family are now only four: the current king of Dressrosa, the Shichibukai Doflamingo; the two top executives Pica and Trebol; and Bellamy the Hyena. The people are stunned that only four remain and that the fighters have done so much for them while trying to save themselves.

Riku Doldo III heads down toward the city, saying he no longer believes his life is in danger and that there is probably something he can do to make himself useful. Elizabello II asks to accompany him, saying they cannot rely on the World Government or Marines forever. Citizens argue that they must tell everyone still in town there is hope, then begin gathering the townspeople in one place somewhere they can protect them. The plateau where the royal palace is located continues to move with heavy "fwoomp" sounds.

At Level 4, the Sunflower Fields, the ground erupts again and Rebecca asks Kyros what the earthquake is. Pica rises through the stone plateau and scornfully says, "Diamante... how pathetic of you!" Rebecca calls out in alarm, and Robin identifies the danger: "That is... the guy Zoro should've already taken care of..." Pica's movement threatens the wounded Kyros, Rebecca, Robin, and the area around Scarlett's grave.

Rebecca tells her father to stop because he can barely move, but Kyros says he did not come there merely for a one-on-one: as long as enemies remain, the battle is not over. He asks Pica what exactly King Riku is to him. Kyros says that to him, Riku is his stepfather, the man who stood by him as if he were not a worthless villain, and his savior. He rejects the idea that Rebecca's years of boos and insults were Riku's fault, saying their enemies destroyed Riku's reputation in the first place. Kyros declares that the Riku royal family is one of the precious few in the world that understand peace, and that the whole country is praying for the day Riku kicks Doflamingo's forces out and takes his rightful throne again.
Pica vanishes into the stone plateau, and Robin notes that he has disappeared. Rebecca says he is headed to Level 3. Zoro shouts after Pica, asking if he even wants to fight and saying he cannot end things if Pica hides inside the plateau. He warns that the next time Pica gets in range, he will smack him so hard his body turns upside down. Zoro angrily calls Pica a cowardly opponent while the massive stone body continues moving away.

Pica rampages through the plateau, injuring his own people as they beg, "Lord Pica! Please, stop!" Zoro curses him as allies and enemies alike are caught in the stone movement. Baby 5, now among the allies, notices the chaos, and someone asks whether she has betrayed them. Zoro keeps trying to track Pica through the stone while civilians and fighters are thrown around by the giant body.

Pica attacks with stone techniques, calling out "Stone Mill!" and "Charlestone!" as his giant stone body churns through the battlefield. Zoro cuts into the moving stone with "Sai!" while people scream and flee. Zoro mocks Pica as a tough guy going after the wounded and weakened, calling him a cowardly target. Even as Pica's attacks break the terrain apart, Zoro keeps cutting through and closing the distance.

Pica calls out to Roronoa Zoro, and Zoro answers with one-sword style, using "Bite Stone" and "Devil Horse" to slash through the stone mass. The blow cuts a huge path through Pica's body and sends chunks of rock flying. The attack shows that Zoro can carve through Pica's stone body, but Pica keeps moving because the real body can shift through the stone.

Pica asks who Zoro thinks Riku is and calls him the former king. Zoro answers, "The king of this country!" Pica says Riku is surrounded by important people from his old kingdom, along with the samurai and God Usopp. He asks whether Zoro is angry that the whole country is hoping for King Riku to reclaim the throne. Zoro starts to tell him to be silent, but then notices the direction of Pica's attack and stops mid-thought.
Pica declares, "This country belongs to the Donquixote!" as the giant stone body carries the plateau toward Riku and the others. Zoro realizes that Pica ran all the way there because he is after the king, and that Zoro cannot catch up with him normally. As people shout to run and move out, Zoro curses that he fell for the trick and that one of Pica's punches would be enough to blow the plateau to smithereens.
Zoro calculates the crisis: Usopp and King Riku will both be crushed instantly. Plan A, firing off a slash, will not work because Pica is too far away and the slash will not have enough power to finish him. Plan B, jumping up to where they are, is impossible because Zoro would not make it and falling would mean his death. Plan C, screaming as loudly as he can to warn Usopp and the others, fails because they cannot hear him at that distance. Plan D, contacting them on the Den Den Mushi, is impossible because Zoro does not have one and they need to get out of there. The page builds comic tension through Zoro's rapid and increasingly frustrated tactical thinking.
As Usopp screams for someone to save them, Zoro settles on "Plan E." He says the plan is to "leap into the sky and cut this fucker in half!" The enormous Pica stone body looms over Dressrosa and the old royal plateau, while Zoro's expression turns calm and focused. The chapter ends with the question of whether Zoro has something up his sleeve, and the page marks "ONE PIECE Ch. 777 END."
