Seimei Kikan

Outside the Tower of Justice, Franky and Fukuro hang over the roaring waterfall, still linked by Franky's chain. Franky has caught him, but the danger has not ended. Fukuro asks, "... Now, what are you gonna do...?" and then taunts, "Hurry up and bring us to shore!! Then I can knock you out." Franky refuses to let him dictate the fall. Fukuro laughs, "Chapapapapa..." while their feet pound through the air with "poof poof." The scene holds them above the abyss: one fighter trying to survive long enough to land, the other already planning how to use that landing to finish the fight.

Franky has no patience left for Fukuro's threats. "Haa... ...!! You don't need to tell me anything; I'll silence you right now!!" he shouts. Fukuro keeps spinning him toward the tower, and Franky suddenly understands the danger: "...!! I see... At this rate, I'll be smashed to pieces...!!" Fukuro turns himself into a brutal wheel and cries, "Super Cartwheel!! 'Tekkai-Dama'!!!" He declares, "I'll smash you into the corner of the tower with this speed!!!" Franky answers with "Fran-kyyy" and "Centauros!!" trying to change the shape of the clash before the impact crushes him.

Fukuro realizes too late that Franky has pinned both his legs. "Chapa!?" he cries. Franky explains the trap as they spin together: "I've pinned both your legs! Now you can't move freely in the sky anymore!!" Fukuro protests, "So what? Even if you hold me down, there's nothing you can do at this speed!!!" Franky admits, "Not quite..." and prepares a hidden blast: "70mm 0.2 Cola Cannon." The mechanism clicks, and Franky fires "Mini 'Coup de Vent'!!!" The small burst is not meant to defeat Fukuro directly; it is meant to kill their speed before the tower corner kills Franky.

The small "Coup de Vent" works. Fukuro screams, "Argh!! My speed is gone!! My rotation... has stopped!!! Damn it~~!!!" Franky judges the new position: "But this is good enough... We're over the shore now." Fukuro snarls, "What're you doing, bastard!!?" as Franky drives him down instead of back toward the waterfall. Franky names the finishing blast, "Coup de..." then pours in "70mm 1.5 Max Cola Power!!!" Fukuro yells, "Give it up already, you punk...!!!" but Franky keeps going: "Coup de... Vent!!!"

The full blast erupts. Franky roars "Super~~!!!" as the shock wave throws him and Fukuro away from the waterfall and toward the Tower of Justice. The blast is enormous, cutting through the air with a crater-like burst and a huge "!!?" as bodies and debris fling apart. Fukuro's mouth hangs open in shock while the tower looms behind them. The move does exactly what Franky wanted: it stops the fatal plunge and sends them back into the battle zone on his terms, using cola-powered force to replace the freedom Fukuro had in the air.

Back at the tower, the sound of the blast echoes with "Ka-boom!!" and "Foom!!" while the damaged walls groan. In the jungle-like interior, Zoro and Sogeking are still running from Kaku and Jabra while chained together. Sogeking pants, "Gyaa-aah!" and Zoro demands, "Is the number 2 key here yet!?" Sogeking, exhausted, cries, "Zoro-kun!! I can't take it anymore!! I'm tired, give me a piggy-back ride!!" Zoro answers with violence instead of sympathy, swinging him through the air: "Shigan!!" Sogeking screams, "What-ever!!!" as the absurd escape continues.

Jabra snaps at the chained pair, "Just what do you think you are doing?" Sogeking accuses Zoro, "You just tried to hit me, didn't you!?" Zoro replies, "That's a false accusation, but if you want, I'll be more than happy to!! You've been getting in my way from the very beginning...!!" Sogeking proposes a ridiculous solution: "There's a way for us to get these handcuffs off!! We'll do rock, paper, scissors, sogeking! Whoever is freed from the handcuffs will pick up his hand and go straight to Chopper, and ask him to sew it back the way it used to be." Zoro says he prefers "To eat meat," then decides, "Cut one of our hands off." Sogeking pleads, "How can you say something so scary with such a straight face!!? Just listen for a moment." Zoro ends it: "We're not stuffed animals!!! Don't be silly!!!"

Zoro falls silent, then says, "I have another idea." Sogeking immediately panics: "I don't want to hear any more!!!" Zoro's idea is to turn Sogeking into part of his own weapon setup. He plants Sogeking upright like a blade and says, "That's..." Sogeking protests, "Get me a lawyer. I'll surely sue you one day!!! Chopper~~, please hurry!!!" Zoro gives the stance a name: "Ready, Sogeking? Don't break your posture!! You're now a... 'sword'!!!" The desperate search for the key has become so absurd that Zoro is literally preparing to fight while using his chained crewmate as a sword.

In the kitchen, Kumadori stands swollen after raiding the refrigerator. Chopper says, "I've never seen anybody with so little self-control! You got fat in the few minutes that I didn't see you!" Kumadori burps, "Burp," and insists, "Ah, thoughtfulness... isn't! Isn't, isn't, isn't, isn't, isn't!!" Chopper cuts him off: "I'm not worried about you at all!! Talk normally already!!! Something that I need from yooou!!!" Kumadori reveals his technique: "'Seimei Kikan'!! 'Cause as you see... Digestion!!" His body shrinks, and Chopper cries, "Eh!? He got skinny!!" Kumadori continues, "Absorption!!!" and returns to normal.

Chopper asks, "Eeh!? What was that!? What happened just now!?" Kumadori proudly explains, "Gained thus is this technique, 'Seimei Kikan'!!! Air is inhaled, and dew is drunk. Completed the training of a hermit life; a millennium in the sea, another millennium in the mountains." He says that by channeling consciousness through the body, even hair can obey: "There's no place... that humans cannot naturally control after chan-chan-channeling the consciousness into every inch of the body!!! From hair on the head to the viscera and the tip of toe... even your downy hair." Chopper remembers, "I recall reading something about that ability... Bio feedback or something..." and realizes, "...Then, you moving your hair like an octopus is because of that ability, too!?" Kumadori snaps, "Ah, yoyo!! Calling me an octopus is extremely impolite...!! Call me a manly..."

Kumadori finishes his complaint with a roar: "Ah... Call me a maaanly lioooon!!! Lion!!!" Then he turns the explanation into an attack. Chopper stiffens, "...!!!" as Kumadori's hair begins to move with "Seimei Kikan." The strands surge forward and bind him in "Kami Shibari!!!" with the note "Hair Bind." Chopper cries, "Wah!!" as the hair wraps and slams around him. The technique shows why the chapter is named for Seimei Kikan: Kumadori is not just moving hair like a weapon, he is treating every part of his body as something he can consciously command.

Chopper knows the hair bind is dangerous. "I'll be done for if I get caught in that," he thinks, and uses "Soru!!" to dash away with a "Woosh!!" Kumadori tries to pierce him with "Shigan," shaping a strand of hair into a stabbing point. Chopper is shocked: "That stick isn't even pointy, but...!!" He dodges and skids across the kitchen, but Kumadori keeps attacking through the hair. Chopper's escape is no longer just about speed; he has to avoid hair that can bind like rope, jab like a finger pistol, and follow his movement across the room.

Kumadori multiplies the danger. His hair splits into several spear-like points and strikes again and again with "Q!! Q!! Q!!" Chopper is driven back, crying, "Oowaaah, oowaah, gyaaah!" Kumadori calls him "Punk" and then hardens his body with "Tekkai!!!" as Chopper tries to answer with "Heavy Gong!!!" The blow lands against iron defense, and Chopper only hurts himself: "Owww!!" He groans, "Ugh!!" while Kumadori calmly says, "Yoi." The exchange makes Chopper understand that ordinary heavy attacks will not break through while Kumadori controls both his hair and his iron body.

Chopper thinks through the Rumble Ball risk while under pressure. "Shit!! I knew it...!! I won't do any damage to him unless I attack him with Arm Point or Horn Point!!" But the drug has a strict limit: "Rumble Ball is a powerful drug... I'm only sustaining every six hours is the suitable dose. Anything more will affect my body badly." He adds that the second ball will throw off the wavelength and hurt his control, and the third ball will make him lose consciousness completely. He considers it anyway: "What should I do...!? Once more, only once more I could strengthen myself...!!" Kumadori attacks with "Shish Kebab!!!" and Chopper laments, "I'm just wasting my time like this!! Rumble!!!"

Chopper chooses the risky but controlled path. "All-or-nothing!! I'll settle this match in 3 minutes!!! It's highly risky, but I still have a chance...!!!" he thinks. He shifts forms: "Horn"... "Point!!!" and charges, but Kumadori counters. "Yoyoi!!!" Chopper cries, "Noooo!!!" as the hair attack knocks him aside. He tries again, cycling through forms: "Point!!!" "Jumping"... "Kebab!!!" The movements show his desperation. He is not helpless, but every wrong form wastes seconds, and the room is burning while the number 2 key remains out of reach.

Kumadori catches Chopper again and slams him hard enough for Chopper to cry, "Guheh!!!" The impact throws him through the kitchen debris, and Kumadori follows with another huge strike while shouting, "Yoyoi!!!" Chopper lies battered and calculates the ending: "So, in the end... I can't control it!!!" Yet he refuses to stop. "Shit...!!! Only if... only if I can get to 'Arm Point'... Then I can give him 'Kokutei' with all my might!!!" His body is failing and his transformations are unreliable, but he still sees one possible winning blow.

Smoke and flame fill the kitchen, raising the stakes beyond the duel. Chopper thinks, "This room's getting dangerous with all these flames... It's not the time to be trapped with the guy who doesn't even have a key... I've gotta find the number 2 key immediately and release Zoro...!! Or we can never get Robin back...!!" Kumadori mocks him, "You're a teenage-acicious animal, aren't you!?" Chopper notices the next change: "His hair... became finger-shaped!" Kumadori uses "Seimei Kikan" again, shaping the hair into stabbing fingers, and launches "Shishi Shigan!!!" with the note "Lion." The attack drives through Chopper's guard as he screams, "Oowaaaah!!!"
