THERE ARE MORE...!I" A cloaked figure warns, "SINCE YOU WERE LED HERE ALREADY...YOU SHOULD ASSUME THAT MORIA HAS HIS EYE ON YOU." An old zombie-like man sweats heavily and cries out, "EITHER WAY, WE DON'T REALLY FEEL TRULY ALIVE WITH THIS KIND OF BODY... FOR ONCE, BEFORE I DIE... I'D LIKE TO WALK UNDER THE SUN AGAIN...!!!" Other voices add, "WHAT'S A MAN LIKE THAT HEREI" and describe victims who stay behind or sail out in fear of zombies and the sun.

In the dimly lit laboratory filled with chains, medical equipment, and stone walls, Hogback looms over a massive stitched-up body on the operating table. A voice exclaims, "YOUR VIOLENT WORDS HORRIFY ME EVERY TIME!!" Another shouts, "WHAT ARE YOU SAYING, CINDRY-CHAN!!II" Cindry-chan stands nearby in her frilly dress, replying, "I hope it fails at the last step." Hogback calls out, "Dinner is ready." The patient on the table weakly responds, "AH...!! YEAH, OKAY, WHAT'S ON TONIGHT'S MENUI" Doki doki. In the next sequence, Hogback serves a grotesque meal while Cindry-chan watches. Someone remarks, "Cindry-chan's there, too...!!!" Hogback declares, "I UNDERSTAND YOUR FEELINGS. A massive shadowy figure with a top hat bursts through the doorway, laughing "YO HO HO HO HO!!" as Hogback and Cindry react in shock. "YOU SHOULD JUST ENTER INSIDE IF YOU WANT TO SEE IT!!" Nami and Chopper stare in disbelief: "....!!!I" "BROOK!I" "B-" and "'YO HO HO'...I" The figure smashes through the door with a powerful kick, sending debris flying. Cindry screams "KYAH!" while Hogback yells "WHO IS IT!!!I" The impact creates a huge explosion of smoke and rubble as the intruder declares his arrival.

Brook's skeletal face looms close as he shouts, "NUU!!!I WHY ARE YOU GUYS HERE....!!!I" Nami glares back with a stitched cheek. Hogback panics, "WHAT DID YOU BASTARDS... SEEI" "GYAAAAH, THEY FOUND US!!!" "AH..." and "DIDN'T I TELL YOU NOT TO GET ANYWHERE CLOSE TO THE LAB...I" Brook explains the figure "WASN'T A SKELETON!! IT HAD FLESH AND SKIN..." while Nami realizes, "WHAT!I THAT WASN'T BROOK JUST NOW!!I" A clock shows the time as Brook warns, "IT'S TOO LATE... THE 'NIGHT ATTACK' WILL START IN A FEW MINUTES...!!!" Hogback adds, "THE NIGHT ATTACK... WHICH MEANS TO HUNT THE GUESTS." Nami and Chopper react with shock, "W-WE DIDN'T SEE ANYTHING!! NOT A ZOMBIE IN THE MAKING, NO!!" as the scene cuts off with dramatic sound effects.

In a ruined graveyard under stormy skies, massive bandaged arms burst from the earth as tombstones marked BECHA and BECHA shake violently. A commanding voice declares, "YOU'VE ALL BEEN BURIED AGAIN. EVERY ONE OF YOU." Garuru ruru...!!! echoes while another voice announces, "WILL START SOON...!!!! WHO HAVE WANDERED ONTO THE ISLAND." Soldier zombies begin clawing free. "NOW WAKE UP, SOLDIER ZOMBIES!!!" one orders. "YOU GUYS ARE DEAD!!" another retorts. "ITCHINESS, HOTNESS, PAIN, ALL OF IT IS JUST YOUR IMAGINATION!!" A cloaked figure looms as zombies rise, declaring, "THAT IS YOU ZOMBIES' TRUE TERROR...!!! BUT RAISE ONCE MORE FOR ANOTHER ATTACK. YOU FALL AGAIN AND AGAIN." The undead moan AAAAAAAH... and AAAAH... while BECHA BECHA and TAN sound effects mark their movements.

Chaos erupts as zombies surge forward. "HEY!!! DON'T SLACK OFF!!!" someone yells while a massive figure with an "I AM WEALTHY" shirt growls, "DON'T FEEL LIKE IT..." The mob chants "LEAAA-DER!!! LEAAA-DER!!! LEAAA-DER!!!" and "OUR LEADER, ABSALOM!! YOU'RE THE LEADER!!" Absalom shouts back, "CUT IT OUT, ZOMBIES!! TELL ME WHO I AM!!!" The zombies mock him with "ERO-SALOM!! ERO-SALOM!! ERO-LEA-DER!! THE ONE WHO LOVES PEE-PING!!" Absalom roars, "SHUT UP!!!" A small figure sweats with "FU FU..." and another groans BWAAAH... as the horde presses in.

Ghosts drift through the night sky near a clock tower as "HORO HORO HORO..." echoes repeatedly. Perona arrives carried by the massive stitched bear Kumashi. "W-W-WELCOME BACK, PERONA-SAMA...AND ALL..." a voice stammers. Perona snaps, "AAAAH! SHUT UP! DON'T TALK, KUMASHI!!!" Small ghosts cry "OH! OH! OH!" Perona glares at the zombies below, declaring, "THEY'RE NOT QUALIFIED TO WORK FOR ME!! IF THEY'RE NOT CUTE..." She adds, "WITH SUCH A DEEP VOICE!I IT MAKES ME ANGRY. WHY DO YOU HAVE THAT APPEARANCE" while Kumashi grunts MUKI! and SHURURURU... SHURI sounds fill the air.

Midnight approaches on the massive clock as voices cry, "IT'S GONNA START!! IT'S GONNA START!! HURRY!! HURRY!! IT'S TIME FOR THE 'NIGHT ATTACK'!!" A wild-haired figure yells, "IT'S TIME TO WAKE UP!!!" The crowd cheers "MORIA-SAMA ----!!! MASTER ----!!! IT'S ALMOST MIDNIGHT!!!" Gecko Moria appears with a wide grin, raising his arms. "HERE YOU GO!!" he shouts. A small creature exclaims FUGOH!!I while others call "ALL RIGHT!! NIN! GO FOR IT!! GIRLS!" A massive form groans GUOOOOOH... as the night attack begins.

Luffy stares up at the massive mansion as fog swirls around them. "The fog is a little thin... What is it...I A flag!I" Usopp points ahead. "I see a mark... behind the mansion! I can see something huge!!" A crewmate asks, "Should we run for the mansionI It's starting to rain pretty heavily." Suddenly a colossal mouth-like structure erupts open with a thunderous "FUGAGOH!!" and "ど!! わ!!" A tiny figure inside yells "MASTER---!!" while another groans "GOH...!!! NMMII...AH..." A round zombie-like creature clutches its head: "AAAAH, I HAD A BAD DREAM." The master’s voice booms, "THAT'S MARVELOUS, MASTER!!" Small figures flee as the giant structure advances with "タタタ...!!" and heavy footfalls "ドドドドドド". Three shadowy figures stand before it. Narration reveals: "IT'S BEEN FOUR DAYS, AND YOU'VE BEEN ASLEEP ALL THAT TIME. SINCE THE LAST 'NIGHT ATTACK.'" "SO YOU HAVE FOUR DAYS WORTH OF MEALS, MORIA SAMA." The zombies declare, "THEY'RE THE TALK OF THE WORLD AFTER TAKING DOWN ENIES LOBBY!!! OUR TARGET THIS TIME IS MORIA SAMA!!! I'M SURE THEY WILL BE OF USE FOR MORIA-SAMA!!!" Eyes snap open with "ぎょろり... パチッ..."

A massive black cloud shaped like a grinning skull looms over the gothic mansion with a resounding "ドドドド!!" Someone shouts, "NO...!!! THAT'S A 'SAIL,' ISN'T ITI A SAIL!!I" The view reveals the entire structure is the world's largest pirate ship, Thriller Bark, with "THRILLER BARK" written on its sides. A close-up shows a terrified face exclaiming, "A SAIL!I" and "UNDER THE MAIN MAST WHICH YOU CAN SEE BEHIND THE MANSION... IS WHERE GECKO MORIA RESIDES." The speaker continues, "BY THE WORLD'S LARGEST SHIP!!! THIS THRILLER BARK... IS A WHOLE TOWN BEING CARRIED" as the ship towers impossibly large. Another voice cries, "YOU'RE STILL FOLLOWING US!I THAT'S RIGHT!! IT'S SO LARGE THAT YOU CAN'T SEE THE BIG PICTURE."

Absalom, the General Zombie leader with a stitched face and cross-patterned hat, sits on a throne-like chair, hands clasped. A label reads "Soldier Zombie / General Zombie General 'Graveyard Absalom'." He commands, "ALL RIGHT, SOLDIER ZOMBIE UNIT. THE GENERAL ZOMBIES WILL FINISH OFF THE PIRATES!!!" A clock ticks in the background with "ガルルルルル...!!" and "カチッ". Below, zombies charge forward with "WUUOOOOOH!!!" and "BOOOHN!! BOOOHN!!" as Absalom declares, "WITH YOUR IMMORTALITY!!! YOU GUYS JUST KEEP RISING AND MAKE THEM FEAR YOU."

Perona, the Ghost Princess, stands confidently in her striped outfit and crown, holding her parasol. A label identifies her as "Wild zombie / Surprise Zombie General Ghost Princess Perona". She smirks, "OKAY, THE CLOCK HAS RUNG MIDNIGHT... WE'RE HEADING OUT FOR REAL, TOO. FOOLS!! HORO HORO HORO... DON'T THINK YOU CAN RUN AWAY FROM HERE, ARE YOU PREPARED, ZOMBIES!!!" Two round ghosts float beside her, one sticking out its tongue. In a smaller panel a voice says, "I SEE...'STRAW HAT LUFFY,' HUH... WE'LL WELCOME YOU..." Perona continues her taunt as the zombies prepare to attack.

A stitched bear-like zombie, a tall bird-masked figure, a wide-eyed girl with pigtails sticking out her tongue, and a massive glaring eye loom in close-up as eerie narration fills the air. "HERE YOU CAN HEAR THE HAUNTS OF THE DEAD..." the girl declares. The bear zombie growls, "WILL COME TO YOU!!!" while speech bubbles label "BAD DREAMS" and ""THRILLER BARK"". The scene shifts to the massive, gothic Thriller Bark ship looming ahead with a skull emblem and cross. A group of figures approaches the gated entrance as one shouts, "TO THE HAUNTED HOUSE!!!" Another replies, "ALL RIGHT, LET'S GO!!" The sound effect "GIII..." echoes from the gate while dramatic motion lines and impact shapes heighten the haunted atmosphere.
