FLIGHT

In the top panel, Zoro stands victorious with his swords drawn. Behind him, Buggy's body has been sliced into several pieces, which fall to the ground with a heavy "FWUMP!! FWUMP!!" sound. In the bottom right panel, Zoro begins to sheathe one of his swords, confidently remarking, "HMPH! THAT WAS ALMOST DISAPPOINTING..." In the bottom left panel, Zoro looks back over his shoulder with a confused "...?" expression. He notices that the Buggy Pirates in the background are not panicking over their captain's apparent death. Instead, they are standing around chuckling, "HEH HEH HEH..."

In the top right panel, Luffy calls out from inside his cage, "HEY ZOLO! GET ME OUTTA HERE!" Zoro, standing near the cannon, replies "RIGHT..." as he finishes sheathing his sword with a "KLAK". Nami stands further back, observing the scene. In the top left panel, Nami looks bewildered and asks, "WHAT'S WITH THOSE PIRATES? THEIR CAPTAIN GETS KILLED AND THEY JUST LAUGH ABOUT IT?...!!?" In the middle right panel, Zoro examines the cage holding Luffy. He touches the bars and says, "WE CAN'T OPEN THIS WITHOUT A KEY. THESE BARS ARE TOO THICK FOR ME TO CUT THROUGH." Luffy replies, "OH..." In the middle left panel, the Buggy Pirates are shown laughing uproariously: "HEH HEH HEH HEH HEH!!" and "HAR HAR HAR HAR HAR HAR!!" In the bottom right panel, Zoro looks annoyed by the laughter and says, "VERY FUNNY... NOW HAND OVER THE KEYS TO THIS CAGE BEFORE I GET CRANKY." Laughter "HAHA HAHA" surrounds him. In the bottom middle panel, Luffy observes the crew, saying, "THOSE GUYS ARE KINDA CREEPY." More "HAHAHAHA" text is visible. In the bottom left panel, a loud "CHUNK!" sound effect rings out. Luffy's eyes widen in sudden shock, sweat forming on his face as he exclaims "!!".

In a large top panel, Zoro is suddenly stabbed in the side from behind. A disembodied hand holding a dagger has plunged the blade into his waist. Blood spurts from the wound as Zoro gasps "NNGH..." with a "FWUMP" sound effect. A shocked "!!?" bubble appears nearby. In the bottom right panel, Luffy yells out in shock, "ZOLO!?" In the bottom middle panel, Nami is equally stunned, exclaiming, "WHAT THE--!? THAT HAND--!" In the bottom left panel, the Buggy Pirates continue their hysterical laughter, pointing and cheering at Zoro's injury: "BWA HA HA HA HA HA!!" and "HAR HAR HAR HAR HAR HAR!"

In the top panel, Zoro is shown from the waist up, reeling from a stab wound to his right side. Blood spurts from the injury with a "SHCK" sound effect. A disembodied hand holding a dagger is visible just behind him. A voice exclaims, "WHAT'S GOING ON...!?!" In the middle panel, Zoro quickly spins around, swinging his sword in a wide arc, but he hits nothing but air. His heart pounds with a "BA-BUMP BA-BUMP" sound. The floating hand holding the bloody dagger hovers safely out of reach with a "FWIP!" sound. A voice cries out, "THE HAND... IT'S FLOATING!" In the bottom panel, the disembodied hand flies back and reattaches to the wrist of Buggy, whose previously severed body parts are pulling themselves back together with "FWOM FWOM" sounds. Zoro stares in shock, sweating, as Buggy declares, "THE CHOP-CHOP FRUIT...!!!"

In a large top panel, Buggy is fully reassembled and stands triumphantly, holding his daggers. A massive "DOOM!!" sound effect fills the background. Buggy shouts, "THAT'S THE DEVIL FRUIT THAT I ATE!!! YOU CAN SLICE AND DICE ME, BUT YOU CAN'T KILL ME!!! I'M A CHOP-CHOP MAN!" In the bottom right panel, Nami looks on in disbelief, her mouth wide open. She says, "THIS BODY IS BACK TOGETHER AGAIN! I THOUGHT THE STORIES ABOUT THE DEVIL FRUIT WERE JUST MYTHS!" In the bottom middle panel, Zoro is shown clutching his bleeding side, his face contorted in pain as he grunts, "...!!" In the bottom left panel, Luffy, still trapped in his cage, looks surprised and remarks, "CHOP-CHOP MAN!? THAT GUY'S A FREAK!!" A small caption box next to Luffy ironically points out, "GUM-GUM MAN".

In the top panel, a close-up of Buggy's face shows him grinning maliciously with a "SMRK" sound effect. He taunts, "RORONOA ZOLO! YOU NEVER HAD A CHANCE! LOOKS LIKE I MISSED YOUR VITALS... BUT YOU STILL TOOK A SERIOUS WOUND!" In the middle right panel, Zoro is kneeling on the ground, clutching his bleeding side and sweating heavily. He thinks to himself, "I CAME TO SAVE LUFFY, NOW I'M THE ONE WHO NEEDS SAVING. I HEARD THAT THIS CLOWN HAD EATEN DEVIL-TREE FRUIT... I SHOULD HAVE BEEN PREPARED..." In the middle left panel, the Buggy Pirates cheer wildly in the background, raising their weapons. They shout, "CAPTAIN BUGGY, YOU'RE THE GREATEST! FINISH HIM! FINISH HIM! YEAAHH!" Buggy stands confidently while Zoro remains kneeling. In the bottom right panel, Nami looks extremely worried, sweating as she assesses the situation. She thinks, "NOT GOOD. THE TABLES HAVE TURNED... IF I DON'T DO SOMETHING, THOSE TWO WILL END UP DEAD--AND SO WILL I!!" In the bottom left panel, Luffy sits quietly in his cage, looking on with a serious expression, marked by a silent "..." bubble.

In the top panel, a close-up of Luffy's face shows him yelling angrily. He shouts, "STABBING SOMEONE IN THE BACK... THAT'S FIGHTING DIRTY!! YOU GOT THAT, BIG NOSE!??" In the middle panel, the Buggy Pirates react with absolute horror, their jaws dropping and eyes bulging as they scream in unison with a massive "GASP!!!!!!!" sound effect. On the left side of the panel, Buggy's face is shown in profile, his eye wide with sudden rage. In the bottom panel, Buggy is absolutely furious. He violently throws his detached hand forward, holding a dagger, with a loud swooshing sound effect. He roars, "YOU DARE TO CALL ME 'BIG NOSE'!!?" In the background, Nami looks terrified and yells at Luffy, "YOU FOOL! THAT'S THE ONE THING YOU NEVER--"

In the top panel, Zoro grabs the large cannon and swiftly spins it around with a loud "WOOSH" sound effect, aiming it directly at Buggy. The cage holding Luffy is visible in the background. In the middle panels, Nami gasps in surprise, "GASP!". Buggy's eyes widen in shock with a "!!?" reaction. Zoro, sweating and bleeding from his mouth, yells out, "LUFFY!!!". In the bottom panel, a large "DA-DUM" sound effect emphasizes Luffy's intense, determined expression from inside the cage. He glares forward and declares, "I SWEAR... I'M GONNA CLOBBER YOU!!!". On the left, Buggy's face is partially visible as he smirks and replies, "CLOBBER ME? HEH HEH...".

In the top panel, a wide shot shows the plaza. The cannon is now aimed directly at Buggy, who stands in the foreground with his cape billowing. Nami stands near the cannon, while Zoro is seen running away from the scene. Buggy laughs mockingly, "DON'T MAKE ME LAUGH! YOU THREE ARE ABOUT TO DIE!! HA HA HA HA HA HA!! CLOBBER ME!!". In the middle panels, Luffy grins widely and yells back, "NO WAY! I'M NOT GONNA DIE!! HA HA HA HA HA!!". Nami looks distressed and sweaty, muttering, "IT'S HOPELESS. WE'RE DEAD...". Zoro is shown running away, gritting his teeth, sweating, and bleeding from his mouth. The Buggy Pirates continue to laugh, "HA HA HA HA HA!!". In the bottom panel, Buggy throws his head back in hysterical laughter, "HA HA HA HA HA HA HA". He taunts them, "AIN'T THAT A LAUGH, BOYS? AND JUST HOW DO YOU INTEND TO CLOBBER ME NOW?". His crew cheers and laughs enthusiastically behind him.

In the top panel, a large close-up of Luffy inside the cage shows him yelling urgently, "ZOLO!! RUN!!!". Zoro, running away, looks back over his shoulder in surprise, saying "HUH!?". In the middle panel, Zoro stops and looks back. Nami stands near the cannon and the cage. She yells angrily, "WHAT? I'M NOT GOING ANYWHERE! WE'RE TRYING TO SAVE YOU! THEY'LL KILL YOU THE MOMENT WE GO!". Zoro watches with a silent "..." thought bubble. In the bottom panels, Zoro turns his head forward again, a small, knowing smile forming on his face despite his sweat and injuries. A "DING" sound effect appears next to him as he says, "OH... GOTCHA...". In the adjacent panel, Luffy is shown inside the cage, returning a confident smile.

In the top right panel, Nami clutches her head in panic, screaming "AAARGGG". She thinks to herself, "HE'S DESERTING US!? URGH! THAT'S WHY I HATE PIRATES! NOW I HAVE TO COME UP WITH AN ESCAPE PLAN!". In the top left panel, Buggy launches his detached hands, both gripping daggers, through the air with a massive "FWOOSH" sound effect. He yells, "RORONOA ZOLO! YOU WON'T GET AWAY THAT EASILY!! CHOP-CHOP CANNON!". In the middle panel, Zoro, still running, turns and uses his two swords to deflect Buggy's flying hands. Loud "KLANG KLANG" sound effects ring out as the blades clash with the daggers. Sparks fly from the impact. In the bottom panel, Zoro continues to sprint away, looking back over his shoulder with a strained "UNGH!" as he sweats profusely. In the background, the Buggy Pirates laugh and cheer, "AH HA HA HA HA! ZOLO'S RUNNING AWAY!! HE WON'T ESCAPE CAP'N BUGGY!!!". A rapid "PTPTPTPT" sound effect follows Zoro's running footsteps.

In the top right panel, Zoro is shown from behind, holding a lit match or fuse to the back of the massive cannon with a "PLIRT" sound. He grunts, "HRRF!". In the middle right panel, Nami looks on in shock, sweating, and exclaims, "NO WAY...!!". In the large left panel, a dramatic head-on view shows the giant cannon barrel pointing directly forward. A massive "KABOOM!!" sound effect dominates the background. A jagged speech bubble yells, "THE BIG CANNON'S POINTED AT US!!!". In the bottom panel, Buggy and his pirate crew are in absolute panic. The crew members run wildly in the background, screaming "AAAAH!", "GYAAAH!", and "AAAAH!!". In the foreground, Buggy's face is shown in extreme close-up, his eyes bulging and sweating profusely as he screams, "AND IT'S LOADED WITH ONE OF MY BUGGY BALLS!! GYAA! GYAA! YAAAH!!!".

In the top right panel, Luffy, still inside his cage, grins widely and cheers, "YEAH!". In the top middle panel, Zoro, sweating and straining as he holds the cannon in place, yells urgently, "LIGHT THIS THING!". In the top left panel, Nami is startled, exclaiming "HUNH? WHOA!". She quickly realizes the situation and replies, "R-RIGHT!! HURRY!!". In the large bottom panel, a massive, devastating explosion obliterates the building where Buggy and his crew were standing. Debris flies everywhere amidst a giant blast. Jagged speech bubbles scream "LOOK OUT!!!" and "NO!!!". A huge, stylized sound effect fills the bottom of the panel as the structure collapses in smoke and splintered wood.

In the top right panel, Zoro is sitting on the ground, panting heavily with "FSSH FSSH" sound effects. He looks over his shoulder and says, "NOW'S OUR CHANCE! WHO'RE YOU, ANYWAY?". Nami stands nearby and replies, "I'M......A THIEF.". In the top left panel, Luffy smiles broadly with a "GRIN" sound effect and declares, "ACTUALLY... SHE'S OUR NEW NAVIGATOR!". In the middle right panel, Nami turns towards Luffy in the cage, yelling angrily, "WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT!? ARE YOU CRAZY? AND SHOULDN'T YOU BE TRYING TO GET OUT OF THAT CAGE?". In the middle left panel, Nami suddenly pauses, looking slightly confused with a sweatdrop, and mutters, "... OH, YEAH. MAYBE YOU'RE RIGHT...". In the bottom panel, a close-up of Zoro's face is shown. He is sweating and blood trickles from his mouth, but he wears a confident, sharp grin. He says, "NO PROBLEM... YOU JUST STAY IN THE CAGE."

In the top right panel, smoke billows with "FSSH" and "FWFF" sound effects. A voice threatens, "YOU'RE NOT GOING ANYWHERE!". Buggy's detached upper body floats out of the smoke, coughing "COFF COFF". In the top left panel, Zoro winces in intense pain, his eyes squeezed shut and teeth gritted as he groans, "NNGH!!". In the middle right panel, Luffy looks worried from inside the cage and yells, "ZOLO, DON'T DO THIS! YOUR GUTS'LL SQUIRT OUT!". In the bottom right panel, blood violently spurts from Zoro's side wound with "SPURT! SPURT!" sound effects. Nami looks on in sheer horror, asking, "HOW CAN YOU DO THIS?". Zoro stubbornly replies, "THEN I'LL JUST SHOVE 'EM BACK IN!". In the main bottom panel, Zoro, despite his severe injury, uses immense strength to lift the entire heavy iron cage with Luffy inside it. He strains with a massive sound effect. He declares, "I DO THINGS MY OWN WAY!". Nami watches from the bottom left corner, completely stunned with a "!!" reaction.

In the top right panel, Zoro wipes his mouth with his thumb, looking serious, and says, "SO DON'T GIVE ME ANY LIP ABOUT IT!". To the left, Nami looks bewildered, sweating slightly as she thinks, "I DON'T GET IT! NO PIRATE WOULD SACRIFICE HIMSELF TO SAVE A FRIEND!". Below her, Buggy's detached hand holding a dagger flies back through the air with a "FWFF FWFF" sound. A voice calls out, "WHERE'D THEY GO!?". The middle panel shows a wide shot of the town square as the smoke clears with a large "KRAKOOM" sound effect. Voices from the Buggy Pirates ring out: "THEY'RE GONE, CAP'N!", "ZOLO, NAMI... EVEN THE CAGE!", and "IMPOSSIBLE! IT'S AN IRON CAGE! IT TOOK FIVE OF US TO MOVE IT!". In the bottom panels, Buggy's crew members look around in shock. One says, "SOMEONE TOOK IT!". Another adds, "THE KEY TO THE CAGE...". A third yells, "WHAT'S GONE!?". The last one panics, "OH NO!! IT'S GONE TOO!!".

In the top right panel, Zoro is shown from behind, carrying the heavy iron cage with Luffy inside on his back. He runs away with a loud "KRASH!" sound effect, grunting "OOF!". In the top left panel, Zoro is panting heavily, sweating with "HUF HUF" and "PHEW...". Below that, a close-up shows Zoro's hand clutching his bleeding side wound, his heart pounding with a "BA-BUMP BA-BUMP" sound. In the large bottom right panel, Zoro sits on the ground, leaning back against the cage, exhausted. The cage rattles with "KLANG KLANG KLANG KLANG" sounds. Zoro mutters, "DARN IT!". From inside the cage, Luffy says, "IF ONLY I COULD GET OUT OF THIS CAGE!!!". In the bottom left panel, a view of the empty town street is shown. Zoro's voice bubbles say, "THE TAVERN!? NOT HERE! MAIN STREET!?". He continues, "NOW WE GOTTA FINISH WHAT WE STARTED. WE'RE IN A... FINE MESS...".

In the top panel, Buggy stands furiously amidst the rubble of the destroyed building, his arms raised. A "KRASH!" sound effect accompanies falling debris. He yells angrily, "NO MORE CLOWNING AROUND!!! THOSE THREE ARE TRYING TO MAKE A FOOL OF ME!!!". In the middle panel, a close-up of Buggy's face shows him glaring as he shouts, "WHO AM I!?". In the background, his crew stands at attention and yells back in unison, "PIRATE CAPTAIN BUGGY THE CLOWN!!". Buggy replies, "DAMN STRAIGHT!". In the bottom panel, an extreme close-up focuses on Buggy's intense, shadowed eyes with a low "GRRRRRRR" growl. He declares, "CLEARLY WE'RE NOT DEALING WITH COMMON THIEVES!!! CONSIDER THIS A DECLARATION OF WAR!!!".
