Brogy laughs enthusiastically, promising Usopp, "SURE THING, USOPP! I'LL GET HIM THIS TIME ONCE AND FOR ALL!" Usopp cheers him on, raising his arms and shouting, "GO GIVE IT YOUR ALL, MASTER BROGY!" Heavy footsteps echo through the jungle with loud "DOOOM DOOOM" sound effects. Nami, walking ahead of Usopp, remarks dryly, "THEY SURE DO LIKE THEIR POINTLESS FIGHTING..." Usopp immediately gets defensive and yells at her, "DON'T YOU DARE CALL IT POINTLESS, YOU IGNORAMUS!" Nami ignores his outburst and suggests, "IN ANY CASE, LET'S RETURN TO THE SHIP FOR THE TIME BEING. I CAN'T BELIEVE IT'S GOING TO TAKE A FULL YEAR FOR THE LOG TO FINISH RECORDING! IT'S ABSURD! WE'LL WAIT FOR EVERYONE TO RETURN TO THE SHIP AND THEN PLAN OUT WHAT TO DO." Usopp, trailing behind, calls out, "WAIT A SECOND! WAIT!"

Usopp points a thumb at himself with a serious expression, declaring, "I MUST ANNOUNCE THAT I WOULD BE UTTERLY USELESS IN FENDING OFF DINOSAURS, GIANT MONSTERS, AND THE LIKE! THEREFORE, IT WOULD BE IMPOSSIBLE FOR US TO SAFELY MAKE IT OUT OF THE JUNGLE AND BACK TO OUR SHIP!" Nami looks at him with a deadpan expression, hands on her hips. "WASN'T IT JUST A MOMENT AGO WHEN YOU BOLDLY DECLARED SOMETHING ABOUT BECOMING A BRAVE WARRIOR?" Usopp sweats slightly but maintains his stance. "YEAH, BUT THE KEY WORD IS BECOMING! I WANT TO EVENTUALLY BE ABLE TO TAKE PRIDE IN MY WAY OF LIFE BUT I'M NOT QUITE AT THAT STAGE YET!" Nami sighs and compromises, "FINE... SINCE LUFFY AND VIVI ARE SUPPOSED TO BE BY THE OTHER GIANT'S HOME, LET'S GO MEET UP WITH THEM FIRST." Usopp looks up with determination, envisioning his future. "ONE DAY... NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS, EVEN IF I WERE TO DIE ALONE ON A DESERTED ISLAND... I'D LOOK BACK PROUDLY AT MY LIFE AND AS I DIE, I'LL YELL, 'I AM USOPP, BRAVE WARRIOR OF THE SEAS!'"

Nami casually drags Usopp by the straps of his overalls along the jungle path, leaving a trail in the dirt. Usopp, sliding on his back, continues his dramatic speech, "THAT'S HOW MY LAST MOMENTS WILL BE!" Nami replies dismissively, not looking back, "YEAH, YEAH... JUST TRY TO TURN INTO A RELIABLE WARRIOR BEFORE WE DIE OF OLD AGE, OKAY?" Usopp mutters, defeated, "UH, YEAH..." Suddenly, a massive explosion erupts in the distance, sending a huge plume of smoke and debris high into the air with a deafening "BOOOOM!!" Nami and Usopp are startled by the shockwave. A voice cries out, "LUFFY!" The scene shifts to Luffy, who is pinned underneath the massive, heavy skull of a giant beast. He struggles against the crushing weight, yelling angrily, "AHHH! WHAT'RE YOU DOING!? MOVE YOUR DAMN HOUSE OFF OF ME!"

Dorry the giant stands tall, his massive sword resting on his shoulder, looking down solemnly at the ground. "YOU CAN'T STOP ME," he says, his voice heavy with resolve. He is panting heavily, his face showing signs of exhaustion and severe internal pain from the explosion. "IT MAY HAVE BEEN OVER A HUNDRED YEARS AGO... SINCE THIS BATTLE BEGAN..." Vivi and Luffy, still pinned under the giant skull, look up at the towering warrior in awe and concern. Dorry continues his speech, his warrior's pride unwavering despite his injuries. "BUT RUNNING AWAY FROM A BATTLE THAT HAS ALREADY BEGUN, IS TO RUN AWAY FROM BEING A WARRIOR. AND TO NO LONGER BE A WARRIOR, IS TO NO LONGER BE MYSELF."

Dorry sits down heavily on the ground, looking down at Luffy with a somber, apologetic expression. "MY APOLOGIES, FOR DOUBTING YOU LITTLE ONES..." he says softly. He then stands back up, gripping his large sword firmly, his massive cape billowing behind him in the wind. "THIS IS MERELY THE JUDGMENT OF THE WARRIOR GOD, ELBAF...! ALL IT MEANS, IS THAT I AM NOT BLESSED BY HIS DIVINE PROTECTION...!" Luffy, still trapped under the heavy skull, is furious at Dorry's fatalistic acceptance. He yells at the top of his lungs, his face contorted in pure anger. "ENOUGH ABOUT GOD, DIVINE PROTECTION, AND WHATEVER! THAT DOESN'T MATTER AT ALL! IF YOUR GOD TOLD YOU TO DIE, WOULD YOU WILLINGLY KILL YOURSELF!?"

Luffy continues to scream passionately at Dorry, struggling against the immense weight of the skull pinning him down. "SOMEBODY ELSE UNFAIRLY INTERFERED WITH YOUR DUEL! A DUEL THAT'S BEEN MANIPULATED BY A THIRD PARTY ISN'T A PROPER DUEL ANYMORE!" Dorry looks down, his eyes shadowed by his helmet, his expression grim and unyielding. "SILENCE... A LITTLE ONE LIKE YOU WHO HAS ONLY LIVED A MERE 10 OR 20 YEARS, COULD NOT POSSIBLY COMPREHEND ELBAF'S DIVINE WORDS...!" Luffy thrashes wildly under the skull, refusing to accept the giant's logic, trying desperately to push it off. "HELL IF I CARE! JUST GET THIS OFF OF ME!"

Dorry turns and walks away into the dense jungle, his massive figure towering over the palm trees as he heads toward the battlefield. In the distance, Brogy's voice booms out, echoing through the island, "GABABABABA! DORRY! AFTER ALL THESE YEARS OF DRINKING ONLY WATER, THE RUM MUST'VE TASTED ESPECIALLY FINE, RIGHT!?" Brogy is shown waiting eagerly, his large axe resting on his shoulder. "'COURSE! IT TASTED OF GOD!" Dorry replies, keeping up his brave front. Brogy laughs heartily, "GABABABABA! AREN'T YOU A POET! HERE I COME! GEGYA-GYAGYA-GYA!" As Dorry walks, the severe internal injuries from the exploding rum take their toll, and he suddenly coughs up a large amount of blood.

Luffy struggles violently under the giant skull, pushing with all his might to free himself. "UGH...! ARGH-HHH! AHHH-HHH!" he grunts, thrashing around in frustration. Vivi watches him with deep concern. "LUFFY..." she says softly. She thinks to herself, analyzing his actions, "JUST WHEN I THOUGHT I HAD MET AN AMAZING WARRIOR...! WHY IS HE GOING SO FAR FOR A GIANT HE JUST MET A MINUTE AGO...!? IS THIS REALLY THE WAY A WANTED CRIMINAL ACTS...!?" Luffy, still trapped, grits his teeth in absolute fury at the injustice. "JUST WHO IS IT THAT DID SUCH A LOWLY ACT...!" Vivi suddenly looks around and notices something important is missing. "...!? CARUE'S NOT HERE..."

Mr. 3 is shown in a close-up, adjusting his glasses with a smug expression. "PSYCHOLOGICAL DISTURBANCES CAN OFTEN GREATLY INFLUENCE THE COURSE OF A BATTLE, YOU SEE. WITH THAT EXPLOSIVE GIFT FROM AN UNSEEN ENEMY, THEY'RE NOW IN A STATE OF CONFUSION." The scene pulls back to show Mr. 3, Miss Goldenweek, Mr. 5, and Miss Valentine relaxing and having tea in the jungle. Mr. 3 continues, "THE FIRST TARGET, IS DORRY THE BLUE OGRE. THOUGH I KNEW THE ATTACK WOULDN'T KILL HIM, THE DAMAGE TO HIS STOMACH IS STILL SEVERE...!" He takes a sip of his tea. "WE NO LONGER NEED TO WORRY ABOUT HIM. LUCKILY FOR US, THEIR LITTLE FIGHT HAS BEGUN AGAIN AS WELL. AS LONG AS WE AVOID A DIRECT CONFRONTATION, THEY ARE OF NO REAL THREAT, YOU SEE. IT'S BEST TO THINK OF THIS RACE OF 'WARRIORS' AS MERE BOARS."

Mr. 3 places four wanted posters on the table, showing the faces of Nami, Zoro, Luffy, and Vivi. "AS FOR THESE SMALL TIME PIRATES WHO'VE LEARNED THE BOSS' SECRET... STARTING WITH THE EASIEST TO HANDLE, LET US LURE THEM OUT ONE BY ONE TO MY 'SERVICE SET'..." Mr. 3 smiles menacingly, his face shadowed as he plots his trap. "AS MY MOTTO GOES, 'THE GREATEST OF CRIMES REQUIRE CUNNING'... FUFUFUFU... I HAVE MANY WAYS TO DEFEAT MY ENEMIES WITHOUT ACTUALLY FIGHTING!" Meanwhile, Zoro is wandering aimlessly through the dense jungle, looking annoyed and scratching his head as he realizes his predicament. "AH CRAP. I'M LOST."

Zoro walks past a massive triceratops skull, looking around the dense jungle. "I FEEL LIKE I'VE SEEN THIS TREE BEFORE... WAS I SUPPOSED TO TAKE A LEFT AT THE TREE WITH IVY...?" He suddenly spots someone familiar. "HM? AH! NAMI! GREAT TIMING!" Zoro smiles, relieved to find a crewmate. "I DIDN'T KNOW WHICH WAY OUR SHIP WAS SO I WAS WONDERING WHAT TO DO..." The figure resembling Nami is standing perfectly still, facing away from him. "BY THE WAY, WHAT WERE YOU DOING OUT HERE?" Zoro asks as he approaches. "HM? HELLO?" he says, noticing the figure isn't responding or moving, unaware it is a wax decoy.

Usopp is sprinting through the jungle at top speed, screaming in absolute terror. "GYAA-AAAA-AAAA! IT'S A DINOSAUR!" he yells, his eyes wide with panic as he flees for his life. Nami is running a short distance behind him, also screaming in fear, "DINOO-OOOO-OOO!" Nami pants heavily as she tries to keep up with Usopp's frantic pace. "WAIT UP! YOU'RE RUNNING WAY TOO FAST! JEEZ, THAT USOPP..." she complains, struggling to catch her breath while fleeing from the unseen prehistoric threat chasing them through the trees.

Elsewhere in the jungle, Nami runs up to a figure resembling Luffy, panting heavily from her sprint. "AH, LUFFY! THANK GOD YOU'RE HERE. WHAT'RE YOU DOING HERE ANYWAYS?" she asks, relieved to have found him. The figure of Luffy, standing stiffly and unnaturally, utters a mechanical "LU...". Suddenly, Nami realizes it's a trap and lets out a piercing scream of horror, "KYAA-AAAA!" The scene shifts to the real Luffy, who is still pinned under the giant skull. He and the real Vivi hear the scream echoing through the jungle. "AH- NAMI?" Luffy says, recognizing her voice and looking surprised by the sudden cry.

Usopp is running frantically through the jungle, tears streaming down his face as he screams for his missing crewmate. "NAMI!? NAMI!? NAMI!?" He looks back in panic, terrified of the unseen dinosaur. "OH SHI..." he mutters before tripping over a large root with a loud "TRIP!" and crashing hard to the ground. He quickly scrambles to his feet and bursts out of the jungle clearing, spotting the real Luffy trapped under the skull. "LUFFY-YYYYY-YYYY! LUFFY!" Usopp cries out, his face a mask of pure horror and despair. "NAMI WAS EATEN BY A DINOSAUR!"

Luffy's jaw drops in utter shock at Usopp's news. "FOR REAL!?" Usopp is sobbing uncontrollably, clutching his head in guilt. "WHAT DO I DO!? I JUST LET OUR CREWMATE DIE! WE WERE BOTH RUNNING AWAY FROM THE DINOSAUR IN THE JUNGLE BUT SHE DISAPPEARED ALL OF A SUDDEN...!" Vivi steps forward, trying to calm him down and think logically. "W-WAIT, WAIT, WAIT JUST A MINUTE HERE...! YOU SAID SHE DISAPPEARED ALL OF A SUDDEN, BUT DID YOU ACTUALLY GO BACK TO SEE IF SHE WAS EATEN!?" Usopp yells back defensively, "AS IF I COULD! I WAS SCARED OUTTA MY WITS! IF NOT A DINOSAUR, THEN SHE MUST'VE BEEN EATEN BY SOME OTHER WILD BEAST!" Vivi looks thoughtful, analyzing the situation. "I CAN'T SAY THIS FOR CERTAIN, BUT... IF BAROQUE WORKS' AGENTS HAVE TAILED US TO THIS ISLAND, IT WOULD MAKE SENSE FOR THEM TO HAVE ONLY ATTACKED NAMI. AFTER ALL, YOU'RE PROBABLY NOT ON THEIR HIT LIST..."

Usopp is horrified as he learns what happened to Dorry from Vivi. "WHAT!? IT EXPLODED INSIDE HIS STOMACH!? RUM? WHAT ABOUT THE RUM? AND EVEN THAT BARREL OF RUM... PERHAPS IT WAS ORIGINALLY MEANT TO KILL US...!" Usopp pieces the grim situation together. "SO THEN... HE WENT TO GO FIGHT EVEN WITH HIS INJURIES!? BUT THOSE TWO HAVE BEEN FIGHTING FOR A HUNDRED YEARS! THEY ALWAYS FIGHT AT FULL POWER AND THEY'VE STILL YET TO DECIDE A VICTOR! IT'S... PROBABLY THE MOST INTENSE FIGHT FOR PERSONAL PRIDE AND HONOUR IN THE WORLD!" Usopp clenches his fists, tears in his eyes, yelling passionately, "THEIR FIGHT CAN'T POSSIBLY END IN THIS WAY!"

The legendary battle between the two giants resumes with earth-shattering force. Dorry and Brogy clash their massive weapons, Dorry's sword meeting Brogy's axe with a deafening impact that shakes the island. Brogy notices something is off with his lifelong rival. "WHAT'S WRONG, DORRY!? YOU SEEM TO BE WINCING IN PAIN!" Dorry, sweating profusely and clearly struggling with his severe internal injuries, denies it fiercely, refusing to show weakness. "NONSENSE... I'M FINE AS ALWAYS...!" he shouts, pushing back against Brogy's attack with all his remaining strength.

Mr. 3 watches the giants' duel from the shadows of the jungle, a sinister smile on his face. "QUITE THE STUBBORN ONE, AREN'T YOU, DORRY THE BLUE OGRE? WHY DON'T I LEND A HELPING HAND?" Using his Devil Fruit powers, Mr. 3 creates a slick patch of wax right under Dorry's foot just as he steps back. Dorry's foot slips on the wax. "!!? AH...!" Dorry gasps, losing his balance and leaving himself wide open. Brogy, unaware of the interference, seizes the opportunity, swinging his massive axe down with full force. "THE BATTLE IS MINE NOW, DORRY!" Brogy roars.
