Dr. Hiluluk stands panting before a towering snow-covered castle, top hat and long black cape billowing. Sweat flies as he clutches his chest. Speech bubbles read: PANT PANT..., WHAT'S THE MEANING OF THIS..., COUGH, WHAT...!I A massive onomatopoeia ドドン!! erupts. From the castle a voice laughs: THIS IS A TRAP! THE MD-20 ARE PERFECTLY FINE AS YOU CAN SEE FOR YOURSELF! MAHAHAHA! STILL CAN'T REALIZE IT!I Rows of まっはっはっはっはっは echo across the snow while soldiers line the walls. Hiluluk stares up in shock, black bag in hand.

Wapol looms in close-up, laughing はっはっはっはっ while pointing at the distant Hiluluk. “ALL YOU'VE COME HERE FOR IS TO MEET YOUR DEATH, DR. HILULUK!” he declares. Guards stand ready with rifles. Wapol continues: YOUR CRIMES ARE HEAVY FOR DEFYING MY ROYAL WILL FOR SO LONG! WHY DID YOU COME...!I A massive hippo-like guard roars “COMMENCE THE EXECUTION, GUARDS! TAKE AIM!” Hiluluk’s face tightens as he mutters IS THAT SO... A soldier sneers WHAT A DIMWIT! HEH... The rifleman chambers his weapon with a loud ガチャ...!!

Hiluluk stands alone in the snow before the castle, soldiers aiming at him from both sides. Speech bubbles read: NOBODY'S SICK... and THANK GOD. A small!!I appears above his head. In the next tier a close-up shows Wapol’s sweating face as he thinks: BUT IT WAS ALL JUST A LITTLE TRICK INSTEAD... THINKING THAT THE COUNTRY WAS IN CRISIS... HERE I WAS. A large ホッ... floats above him. The final panel shows Wapol’s shocked, sweating face with the sound ズキッ as realization hits.

A furious crowd surrounds the doctor in the top hat. "IGNORE THIS QUACK'S WORTHLESS BLATHER AND SHOOT!" one man yells. "A QUACK DOCTOR LIKE YOU WOULD BE THE LAST PERSON I'D WANT TO COME!" another shouts. "AHAHA! IF THIS COUNTRY REALLY WERE IN CRISIS," a third laughs. The doctor stands firm, skull-marked bag at his feet. "STOP," he commands. "YOU PEOPLE CAN'T POSSIBLY KILL ME." The crowd freezes in shock. "WHEN DO YOU THINK A PERSON DIES...I" the doctor asks quietly as townspeople gather before a grand building. "WHAT!I" someone gasps.

The doctor in the top hat runs desperately through the snowy forest, bag in hand. "たたた、DOC-TOOOR!" he cries amid frantic motion lines and "PANT" sounds. "WHEN HIS HEART IS PIERCED BY A BULLETI" he questions. "NO..." he answers himself. "WHEN HE IS INFLICTED WITH AN INCURABLE DISEASEI" "MADE FROM A POISONOUS MUSHROOM...I" "NO!" he roars, leaping forward. "WHEN HE DRINKS SOUP," he continues as the castle looms in the background.

The doctor races onward while Dalton sits alone in a dim corridor, bottle beside him. "WHEN HE IS FORGOTTEN...!" the doctor declares. "A MAN DIES," Dalton states flatly. In a snowy clearing the doctor kneels, arms spread wide. "THE SICK HEARTS OF THIS COUNTRY'S CITIZENS TOO WILL BE SAVED...!" he proclaims. "EVEN IF I'M GONE, MY DREAM WILL COME TRUE." "OPEN," a voice commands as bullets fly toward him.

Dalton weeps openly. "WHY THE TEARS, DALTONI" a voice asks. "CAN THE SAME BE SAID FOR THE COUNTRY AS WELL...I" the doctor wonders. "A MONSTER SHALL SOON COME HERE," he warns. "BAHAHAHA! THE HECK ARE YOU CRYING FOR, DALTON!I" the doctor laughs. "AS LONG AS THERE ARE THOSE TO INHERIT THE WILL..." Dalton replies. "EH EH..." the doctor mutters. "SO DON'T LAY A HAND UPON HIM." "DON'T WORRY, CHOPPER," the doctor says, raising a cup. "I WON'T DIE FROM YOUR MUSHROOM..." "HE IS MY SON," he declares as the crowd watches the castle.

The top-hatted figure perches triumphantly atop a massive cannon-like device, arms spread wide as impact lines burst around him. "WHAT A SPEC-TACULAR LIFE IT'S BEEN!" he declares with a manic grin. "TRULY!" Below, scattered onlookers react in shock. A duck-billed doctor stammers "QUACK DOCTOR" while another voice cries "FARE-WELL," and a concerned figure wonders aloud, "JUST WHAT IS HE PLANNING....I" In the final wide panel, the tall tower stands amid falling snow as a glowing speech bubble reads "THANK YOU, CHOPPER."

A deafening explosion erupts from the tower summit with a massive "ボン" blast, sending debris flying in all directions. The force hurls several figures violently through the air. A huge onomatopoeic "ゴゴゴッッ...!!!!" shakes the panel as one man screams "AGHHHHH!" while others tumble helplessly amid smoke and shattered stone.

Laughter echoes across the snowy town as a small figure tumbles through the air with "オオオオ..." and "オオオオオオオ..." sound effects. "A FITTING END FOR THE LOONIEST LOON I EVER KNEW! MAHAHAHA!" someone howls while another joins in "MAAAAAHA-HAHAHA!" and "MAHAHA-HAHA!" The top-hatted man lies sprawled, his hat flying off. "HE BLEW HIMSELF UP ON HIS OWN!" a voice exclaims. Panic erupts as a wide-eyed man yells "AR GHHHHHHH!" and orders "SHOOT HIM!" A soldier warns "YOUR MAJESTY! THERE'S SOMETHING COMING AND IT DOESN'T LOOK HUMAN!" while another shouts "A MONSTER!" amid the chaos of "グオーッ!!!" and "はっはっはっはっはっ" reactions.

Dalton, now transformed into a massive bison-like beast, clashes violently with the top-hatted man. "WAIT!" someone yells as impact lines and "カジンッ" effects explode across the panel. In the lower section, soldiers and townsfolk panic: "KILL IT!" "GET IM, DALTON!" "GET AWAY FROM HERE!" Dalton pants heavily "PANT PANT" while the top-hatted figure struggles beneath him. A final "!!I" captures the shock as the monstrous form looms over the crowd.

A bear-like man in a black cap marked with an X snarls in rage. "BUT YOU'LL ONLY DIE A DOG'S DEATH BY JUMPING IN!" he shouts. Another armored figure looms overhead, declaring, "IF IT'S ABOUT THEM LAUGHING AT HILULUK'S DEATH, I APOLOGIZE..." and "IF YOU CAN'T EVEN BEAT ME, THERE'S NO WAY YOU CAN TAKE ON THE REST OF THEM!" The bear-man growls back, "UU...!" A massive close-up shows Dalton's furious face as he roars, "DON'T BECOME ANOTHER SACRIFICE TO THIS COUNTRY! DON'T..." In the background, a snowy castle courtyard is visible with distant figures. "ENOUGH!" Dalton bellows. A stern man warns, "HOW DARE YOU LET HIM ESCAPE, DALTON! YOU REALIZE WHAT THE PUNISHMENT FOR DEFYING A KING'S ORDER IS, DON'T Y-" Dalton drops to his knees, pleading desperately, "I BEG OF YOU!"

Snow falls over the grand castle as narration continues: "WHILE OTHERS HAVE LONG GIVEN UP ON THIS COUNTRY AND THOUGHT IT HOPELESS, THERE WAS ONE KIND DOCTOR WHO SURPRISINGLY ENDEAVOURED TO SAVE IT! BUT THAT MAN HAS NOW PERISHED!" A voice cries, "DON'T YOU REALIZE!I THE ONLY MAN WHO WISHED TO SAVE THIS COUNTRY DIED JUST NOW!" Dalton, bloodied and furious, snaps, "INEVITABLE RUIN. WHAT!I" The armored man sneers, "I NOW SEE CLEARLY THE FATE OF THIS KINGDOM... IF YOU'RE GOING TO APOLOGIZE, I SUGGEST YOU DO IT NOW, DALTON." He adds coldly, "SO WHAT IF ONE QUACK DOCTOR DIED!I" Dalton stands tall, cloak billowing, and declares, "NO MATTER HOW ADVANCED THE DOCTORS OF THIS COUNTRY AND THEIR MEDICINE ARE, THIS COUNTRY'S DOOMED FATE SHALL NOT CHANGE!" The armored man retorts, "AS LONG AS WE CONTINUE TO TRAMPLE THE PEOPLE BENEATH OUR FEET, THIS COUNTRY CAN NEVER BE FIXED!"

Dalton's face twists in rage, veins bulging, as he roars, "BECAUSE THERE IS NO CURE FOR A FOOL..." The armored man, gripping a massive weapon, growls, "YOU SHOULD BE WELL AWARE OF WHAT HAPPENS TO THOSE WHO TRULY ANGER ME... HOW DARE YOU..." Dalton, now in full armored form, swings his weapon with a loud "ゴゴゴゴゴ..." while a small figure pleads, "TEACH ME TO BECOME A DOCTOR! PLEASE!" Dalton's eyes narrow as he mutters, "RIGHT, DALTON...I"

A small figure waves a pirate flag wildly amid falling snow, shouting "ばっ!! ばっ!!" A long-haired woman watches with a serious expression. A skull-faced figure declares, "BECAUSE...! I'LL BECOME A DOCTOR THAT CAN CURE ANYTHING! I'LL BECOME THE PANACEA MYSELF!" Dalton's bandaged face appears in a swirling vortex panel as he states, "IN THIS WHOLE WORLD! BECAUSE THERE ARE NO INCURABLE DISEASES," The long-haired woman replies softly, "DOCTRESS... THAT'S WHAT YOU'RE TO ADDRESS ME FROM NOW ON..."

Inside the ruined castle, Dalton lies battered on the flooded stone floor behind iron bars. He declares, "I'LL INHERIT THE WILL OF THE FORMER KING...! UNTIL I CAN BRING PEACE TO THIS COUNTRY AGAIN, I REFUSE TO DIE!" Wapol looms outside the cell, laughing, "JUST ONE LITTLE 'SORRY' AND I'LL BE HAPPY TO FORGIVE YOU, DALTON. MAHAHAHA!" Dalton refuses, shouting, "I WON'T DIE... I WON'T!" Wapol retorts with manic glee, "THIS COUNTRY IS MINE AND MINE TO RULE! THE KING IS ABOVE REPROACH! MAHAHAHAHA! OH WHY OH WHY AM I SURROUNDED BY A BUNCH OF DUMB HIPPOS!I" Dalton's face twists in agony as he screams, "AHHHHHHHHH!" while Wapol continues his mocking laughter, "はっはっは はっはっは はっはっは" and a final "ヒュッ..." escapes as the giant impact strikes.

Dalton surges forward in a massive uppercut. His fist connects with devastating force, sending Wapol's body flying backward in a spray of blood and impact lines. Huge onomatopoeia "バキッ" and "ズデッ" explode across the page as Wapol's crown flies off and his face contorts in shock. Dalton's determined roar echoes with "!!!!I" The final panel shows the brutal aftermath of the inherited will striking true. At the bottom, the volume note reads: "16 VOLUME 16 'INHERITED WILL' (END)".
