Dressrosa shakes under the impact of Luffy's King Kong Gun. Rubble flies and the city crumbles with heavy SFX including "Grumble grumble" and huge crashing marks. Doflamingo is shown bloodied and falling after being driven through the ground. A translator note reads "T/N: Heavenly Demon," and the narration-like impact text declares, "The heavenly Yaksha falls...!!" Luffy, still in Gear Fourth, hangs exhausted above the destruction while citizens stare in shock.

The battlefield pauses in stunned silence: Law, Viola, Rebecca, Gats, and Luffy all look toward the impact site. Rebecca can only stare with "......!!" as dust rises. Luffy is battered and smoking from the strain of the final blow. Doflamingo, however, still twitches and raises his hand; with "Flick" he moves his fingers, panting "Pant pant." The Birdcage continues to grind inward over Dressrosa, proving his control has not fully stopped.

Luffy crashes down near the others, buried partly in debris as smoke and rubble roll over the street. Viola and Rebecca shout, "Lucy!!" while Gats reacts with a huge open-mouthed scream. Doflamingo lies face-down and motionless, but the surrounding city is still being crushed. The final panel marks the location as "Subterranean Trade Port Harbor," where a massive chunk of Dressrosa has collapsed into the underground port.

Doflamingo's glasses fall with "Clop" and "Clang," landing beside his defeated body. The people below shout in confusion: "Speak up, Gatz~!!!" "What happened just now?!" "What the hell's going on?!" and "There's no one in the sky!!" Gats, still wobbling, is warned, "Gatz-san... you mustn't exert any further energy shouting..." and "Don't push your luck and overdo it!!" He answers through gasps, "Haaah... Haah... you goddamn idiots... A winner can't be declared ...until we confirm the outcome... Look guys... over there..."

The citizens look "Up in the sky!!!" and cry "Dressrosa!!" as the cage begins to change. They ask, "Is it the Bird-Cage... gasp... that's disappearing..." and then confirm, "It's disappearing...!!!" and "The \"Bird-Cage\"...!!!" But panic returns when someone asks, "Or is it... Doflamingo's \"control\"?!" The page leaves the people staring at the slicing strings and the ruined royal plateau, unsure whether the threat is truly gone or simply shifting again.

The Birdcage continues moving for a moment and sends people scrambling, with cries of "Dwaaaaaaaaah!!" "Pull uuh..." and "Heave hooo~!!!" The citizens push and strain against the strings one last time. Zoro, exhausted, says, "Once more..." as everyone heaves together. The page is full of effort sounds, dragging SFX, and shouts like "Owaaaaagh!!" and "Woooh!!!" showing that even after Luffy's blow, Dressrosa's survival depends on everyone holding out until Doflamingo's power finally ends.

The factory tilts and nearly collapses as the strings drag the city one more time. People scream "Waaaah!!" and "The factory!!!" while the battlefield buckles. The fighters who were holding the Birdcage pant heavily: King Riku's defenders, Zoro, Franky, Kin'emon, Kanjuro, and the people all gasp "Haah" and "Pant." Then they look up in disbelief. Someone says, "Haaah... what...?!" and Zoro, bloodied and exhausted, realizes: "The [Bird-Cage]..."

The strings disappear from Dressrosa. A relieved voice asks, "Is the land beyond the cage the ruins of a town...? Or..." Zoro, panting, says, "...Ooooh... then this means... Luffy-dono has finally...?! The strings... are disappearing..." The citizens understand: "Is it a land controlled by no one..." and then shout, "A land of freedom!!" Another voice confirms, "The [Birdcage] has disappeared...!!" Nearby, the battered defenders collapse and gasp, "The defense of the nation of Dressrosa!!"

Gats frames the entire conflict like a colosseum match: "These warriors of fate that happened upon this land...!!" versus "The 2000 pirates of the [Donquixote Family]!!" Then, "The Gladiator Lucy!!" versus "This \"Battle of Leaders\"... the [Royal Shichibukai] Donquixote Doflamingo." The people beg him, "C'mon, spit it out!! \"The winner is...\"" and hear only his choked words, "Dahwid-dahz..." Some ask, "Am I the only one hearing gibberish?!" and "What?!" as his emotion overtakes the announcement.

Leo and the Tontatta encourage Gats: "You can do it, Gatz-san!" while Gats sobs, "Dahh widdaa izzzz!!" and hiccups. Someone urges, "C'mon, pull yourself together, Gatz-!!" The page cuts to Kyros and the memory of Doflamingo entering Dressrosa, asking, "Who the hell are you?!" Doflamingo declares, "I am Donquixote Doflamingo. The rightful heir to the throne of this country." Gats struggles through tears, "D... duh... T... the... Alright, enough already!" as the old tyranny is recalled.

Rebecca kneels beside the fallen Luffy and cries over him while Viola stands nearby. The page echoes Luffy's promise to her: "Rebecca!! Don't cry yet!! I won't let any more of the troops die and I'll make sure to keep you safe!! On my life, I swear..." Gats keeps trying to announce, "The winner is...!!" while Rebecca remembers Luffy saying, "I'm gonna... send Doflamingo flying!!!" She whispers, "Lucy..." and the emotion finally breaks into a scream as everyone waits for the name.

The city erupts as Gats finally shouts the winner's name in pieces: "...Cyyyyy~!!!" and "Luuuuuuu...~!!!" The crowd roars back, arms raised amid the rubble. People scream and sob, "You actually friggin' diiid it~!!!!" and cry out with messy, tear-filled cheers. Panels show Zoro, Franky, Usopp, Robin, and many allies relieved and smiling as the entire kingdom celebrates Luffy's victory over Doflamingo.

Gats turns the celebration toward Kyros and Dressrosa's long suffering. He says, "The commander battled for ten long years all by his lonesome!!" Another voice adds, "These tin eyes may be unable to shed tears, however... Even toys have things they wish to protect." Gats continues, "Ten long years ago!! This battle began!!" Kyros walks through the ruined city as the page explains he was "Forced to surrender it all... while filled with remorse and regret." The stakes are named as "King Riku's honor... and our freedom..."

Gats cries out, "This battle was a fight to reclaim it all!!!" as the people of Dressrosa cheer and Kyros weeps. A caption states, "The fated grand showdown has finally been settled!" The closing narration says, "Just because a country has collapsed... does not necessarily mean it is devoid of happiness. For today, the people of this country... amidst the despair, rubble and debris... wept tears of joy...!!!" The final image shows the ruined land under the sound of cheering.
