Chapter 181 'Super Spot-Billed Duck Quiz'

A massive cloud of dust rises over the desert landscape as a huge army marches forward. Sound effects indicate a loud rumbling: "OOOOOOOO..." and "RUMBLE RUMBLE RUMBLE...!!". Kouza, leading the Rebel Army on horseback, looks ahead through the dust. He says, "We're still a ways off... But that's Alubarna, no doubt about it!" A rebel riding next to him calls out, "Kouza! We're set to arrive at the capital in 30 minutes or less!" Kouza replies, "Right!" In the background, another rebel spots the city and shouts, "I SEE IT!"

The Rebel Army raises their weapons and cheers loudly, "OHHHH!" Kouza shouts to his men, "ALUBARNA IS CLOSE! TIME TO RAISE YOUR FIGHTING SPIRITS, COMRADES!" The scene cuts to the capital city of Alubarna, where the Royal Guards are stationed on the walls. A guard reports to Chaka, "COMMANDER CHAKA! REBELS SIGHTED 15KM SOUTH OF HERE!" Chaka, looking fierce, commands his troops, "I WANT THE EAST, WEST, SOUTH, SOUTHEAST, AND SOUTHWEST GATES COMPLETELY FORTIFIED!" The guards salute and yell, "YES, SIR!" Chaka adds, "DON'T LET A SINGLE REBEL SET FOOT IN THE CAPITAL!"

Outside Alubarna, the Baroque Works officer agents are waiting. A map shows the five gates of the city: Western, Southwest, South (Front Entrance), Southeast, and East. Mr. 2 Bon Clay looks towards the horizon and says, "Are the princess and the pirates even going to show up? You can already hear the rebels from here!" Miss Merry Christmas is panicking, "W-whoa, whoa, whoa! Are you kidding me!? At this rate, the rebels are going to get here first! Aretheyeventryin' tostopthisrebellion orwhat!?" Miss Doublefinger calmly smokes her pipe and says, "There's a good chance they won't make it here before the rebels." Mr. 1 adds, "After all, they lost a lot of time being tied up in Rainbase." Mr. 4 slowly points and says, "Heeerrreee theeeeyyyy coooomeeee". Miss Merry Christmas turns in surprise, "Oh really!?" Mr. 2 asks, "So if the rebels get here before they do, Then just what are we supposed to do...?"

Mr. 1 replies to Mr. 2, "Our objective remains unchanged. We'll eliminate the princess as ordered by the boss." Miss Doublefinger exhales smoke and adds, "Once a battle starts, then there's nothing someone can do to stop it, even if it's the princess!...There's nothing we really need to do in that case." Mr. 2 gets angry, striking a pose, "Can't okamas even make such simple judgments? YOU SAYIN' YOU WANT A TASTE OF MY OKAMA KENPO!?" Miss Doublefinger tells them, "Knock it off, you two." Meanwhile, Mr. 4 is still slowly talking, "Heeeeeerrreee... Theeeyyy... Coooo... Mmmmee...." Miss Merry Christmas grabs him by the collar and shakes him violently, "WHAT!? TELL US SOONER, YOU SLOW-WITTED SLOWPOKE! ACK! MYHIP! MR.4! MASSAGEME A.S.A.P.!"

Miss Merry Christmas looks through her binoculars and is shocked by what she sees. "D... DUCKS!?" she exclaims. Through the binoculars, six Super Spot-Billed Ducks are seen sprinting across the desert towards them. Miss Doublefinger asks, "Ducks? What on Earth are you saying, Ms. Merry Christmas?" Miss Merry Christmas replies, "I SEE 6 OF'EM! AND THERE'S MORE OF THEM THAN THERE SHOULD BE!" Mr. 1 holds up a set of bounty posters showing Nami, Usopp, Zoro, and Sanji, all with crosses drawn over their faces. He says, "According to the list, there should only be 4 pirates, excluding their captain Straw-Hat!"

Miss Doublefinger corrects Mr. 1, "Not quite, Ms. Merry Christmas... Remember what the boss told us? There's also an unidentified 'Mr. Prince' among the pirates. So it's not surprising even if there's just one or two more." Mr. 1 says, "Don't panic, you idiot. No matter how many more pirates there are, Our target is Princess Vivi alone..." Miss Merry Christmas looks through her binoculars again and sweats, "Mr. 1... AMBIGUOUS!" Mr. 1 replies, "That's nice and all but... So all we gotta do is kill one little girl?"

The six Super Spot-Billed Ducks get closer, kicking up a massive cloud of dust. Each duck and its rider is completely covered in an identical white cloak, making it impossible to tell who is who. Mr. 2 yells in frustration, "WHYDON'CHA TELLUSWHICH ONE'STHE PRINCESS!?" Miss Merry Christmas screams, "AGHHH! THEY'RE ALL COVERED WITH THE SAME CLOAK!" Miss Doublefinger observes, "And those birds are Super Spot-Billed Ducks, Alabasta's fastest animals!" Mr. 2 shouts, "IT'S TOO AMBIGUOUS!" Mr. 1 commands, "GET'EM, MR.4!" Mr. 4 prepares his weapon, thinking, "DAMMIT! NOW WE CAN'T TELL WHO'S WHO!"

Mr. 4's dog-gun, Lassoo, sneezes and fires a baseball-shaped explosive. The ball flies towards the approaching ducks, ticking like a time bomb with a "tic toc..." sound. It lands near them and explodes violently with a loud "BOOM!!". However, the ducks swiftly dodge the explosion and split up, dashing in different directions. One of the cloaked riders shouts, "GET AWAY! DASH!"

Miss Merry Christmas watches the ducks scatter. "THEY DODGED IT! DAMN, THOSE BIRDS ARE FAAAST!" she yells. "2 OF THEM SPLIT OFF AND ARE HEADED SOUTH! THEY MUST BE TRYING TO REACH THE SOUTHERN GATES!" She realizes, "The Southern Gates is where the rebels will strike! Then does that mean Vivi's one of those two...!?" Mr. 2 prepares to attack, spinning and shouting, "CERTAIN KILL... FLAME STAR!" Mr. 1 steps forward and says, "LEAVE THOSE TWO TO US!" Miss Merry Christmas tells her partner, "LET'S GO, MR. 4!" Mr. 4 slowly replies, "Oooo kaaa yyy..." as they dash off.

Mr. 1 notices another pair of ducks splitting off. "Mr. 1! Two others also split off from their group just now! Vivi might be one of them!" he says. He curses, "SON OF A...!" Miss Doublefinger points and says, "They're headed for the Western Gates. LET'S GO AFTER THEM!" They run off in pursuit. Meanwhile, Miss Merry Christmas and Mr. 4 are also running, with Miss Merry Christmas noticing something, "HMM!?"

A cloaked rider on a duck is attacked, crying out "GAHHH!" as a weapon strikes near them. The rider yells, "Head to the Southwestern gates!" Mr. 2 chases after them, shouting, "I WON'T LET YOU ESCAPE!" Miss Doublefinger looks at a map of Alubarna's gates. "Out of the 5 gates to Alubarna, there're only 3 gates they can enter arriving from the West! Their plan must be to split off and enter the city from each of those gates! Fine, we'll do the same and kill each of them inside the city!" At the city gates, a Royal Guard spots the approaching ducks and warns, "HEY, SOMEONE'S COMING UP! ARE THEY ENEMIES!?" Another guard recognizes them, "NO, WAIT! THAT'S THE SUPER SPOT-BILLED DUCK SQUAD! LET THEM THROUGH!"

Inside the city, the Baroque Works agents catch up to their respective targets. In one area, a cloaked figure tells Mr. 2, "You did a good job following us all the way in!" Mr. 2 is taken aback, "WHA!?" In another area, a cloaked figure taunts Mr. 4 and Miss Merry Christmas, "Hold it! You two have good instincts! You guessed right, I'm Vivi! <heart>" Elsewhere, Mr. 1 looks confused as a cloaked figure stammers, "WHAT THE HELL AR- I mean... What are you saying? I'm the real Vivi." The cloaked figures prepare to reveal themselves. One says, "This should be far enough... <heart>" Another agent reacts, "Hm!?" A cloaked figure throws off their disguise, declaring, "Allow me to show you who we really are!"

Outside the city, Vivi is revealed to be riding Karoo alone, having separated from the decoys. She looks back and says, "THANK YOU, EVERYONE!" She urges Karoo forward, "I have to hurry... The rebels are almost here already." Karoo quacks in response. Vivi shouts, "LET'S GO, CARUE!" as they sprint towards Alubarna.

The cloaked figures throw off their disguises simultaneously, revealing their true identities to the shocked Baroque Works agents. It is Usopp, Zoro, Sanji, Chopper, Matsuge the camel, and Nami. They all shout in unison, "TOO BAD, SO SAD! BETTER LUCK NEXT TIME!" Nami winks and sticks her tongue out playfully.

Mr. 2 is furious as he realizes he chased a reindeer and a camel. "A CAMEL!? AND YOU! YOU'RE THAT PIRATE FROM BEFORE!" he screams. Matsuge the camel cries out in fear, "P-PLEASE GO EASY ON US!" In another part of the city, Miss Doublefinger and Mr. 1 face Zoro and Nami. Miss Doublefinger admits, "They got us good..." Nami hides behind Zoro and yells at the agents, "JUST SHUT UP BACK THERE! ALRIGHT, ZORO! GO FINISH THEM OFF!"

Mr. 4 and Miss Merry Christmas confront Sanji and Usopp. Sanji smirks and says, "Heh heh. The rebellion ain't gonna start now." Miss Merry Christmas is shocked, "WHAT!?" Meanwhile, Vivi and Karoo are rushing towards the city gates at full speed. Vivi looks determined and thinks, "IF I DON'T STOP THE REBELS HERE, EVERYTHING WILL HAVE BEEN IN VAIN!"
