On the sea train, a man shouts, "THE TRAIN WILL..." while another yells, "I DON'T NEED MONEY!!! PLEASE KEEP IT!!!" A swordsman with a cigarette replies calmly, "PLEASE DOUBLE-CHECK YOUR BELONGINGS AND..." Below, the devastated city of Water Seven is shown with massive destruction. Narration states, "THE DESTRUCTIVE POWER OF THIS YEAR'S AQUA LAGUNA... WAS REALLY OVERWHELMING... THIS ISN'T SOMETHING WE CAN FIX ON OUR OWN..."

In the ruined streets, Paulie shouts furiously, "BASTARDS, JUST BACK OFF!! YOU'RE GETTING IN OUR WAY!!! PAULIE-SAAAN." A voice asks, "PAULIE FROM THE FIRST DOCK!! WHY DID HE COME ALL THE WAY TO THE BACKSTREET!I" Another replies, "OH!I THAT'S..." Workers respond, "GET TO IT!!" "AYE AYE!!" "FIFTH DOCK, YOU'RE IN CHARGE OF THE RESIDENTIAL AREA..." "THIRD DOCK, I'LL LEAVE THIS AREA UP TO YOU." "GOTCHA!!" Citizens cheer, "WHOA!! GALLEY-LA GUYS ARE SO RELIABLE!!!" Roger yells, "ROGER THAT!!!" while working amid the rubble. A voice adds, "WE STILL HAVE OUR REGULAR WORK HOURS. SO WITHIN A MONTH, FINISH FIXING UP THE BACKSTREETS DURING YOUR BREAK TIMES!!!"

At Franky House, North Shore, Franky laughs, "I GUESS WE'LL BE CAMPING OUTSIDE AGAIN TONIGHT. GYAHAHA. WE'RE GOOD AT DESTROYING STUFF THOUGH!! HAA... IT'S PRETTY TOUGH TO REBUILD." Nearby, Gomorrah rests as someone says, "GOMORRAH'S EYES WILL BE HEALED IF HE RESTS QUIETLY!!" "REINDEER-SAN SAID THAT'S GOOD." "BARURU" "BARU" "YOU GUYS SHOULD TAKE A GOOD REST, OKAYI SODOM AND GOMORRAH." At Shipyard Island, First Dock, citizens swarm, shouting, "I'M WITH W7 NEWS!! PLEASE LET US HEAR SOME COMMENTS FROM THE HEROES WHO SAVED OUR MAYOR!!" "PLEASE LET US TAKE A PICTURE!! PLEASE!!" "I'M APPLYING FOR KALIFA-SAN'S SECRETARY POSITION!!" The Galley-La Company headquarters stands damaged yet still labeled with its proud emblem. Signs mark it as the Temporary Headquarters and Iceburg's House. Inside the restored room, Iceburg sits at his desk while Franky lounges on the couch. "Burnt, huh...I" someone murmurs. "The blue-prints are..." Iceburg notes. Franky replies, "Oh well... And what have you been drawingI" Iceburg answers, "It's for the best... You incurred the government's ill will, didn't youI" Franky declares, "On the sea. I'll make this island float." Iceburg's expression hardens as he asks, "So what are you gonna doI" Nearby residents worry, "Our residents must've gotten anxious... because of the size of Aqua Laguna this time. They might think that the day this island will sink to the bottom of the sea is getting closer..."

Franky works at the desk while Iceburg questions him. "If you're a man, do things with a don. Who made the impossible possibleI Didn't we use to look at a great man's back...I" Franky grins wildly, "Into a ship...!I Is that even possibleI You're turning the Water 7..." The Franky Family bursts onto the scene with a massive delivery. "OHH, IT'S FINALLY HERE!!! The stuff you bought using those 200 million beri has arrived by sea train!!" one member shouts. "AH!! IS THIS BRO!!!I" another exclaims. "HEE HEE!! YOU'RE JUST LIKE TOM-SAN..." They cheer, "NYOOH GERO GERO!!! I'M COMIN' IN, GUYS!!" as they storm the Temporary Headquarters, Pirates' Special Room.

Chaos erupts inside the large hall labeled UNIT BATH. Franky Family members smash through the doors yelling "YOKOZUNA!! JUST STAY OUTSIDE!!" and "GERO!" while one cries "KOKORO-SAN." A massive figure rampages as Franky laughs, "NGAGAGA, I'M COMIN' IN, GUYS!!" Close-ups show Franky with a manic grin, "I CAN UNDERSTAND THOUGH. YOU MUST'VE BEEN REALLY TIRED — YOU SLEPT FOR TWO WHOLE DAYS. EVERYONE'S FINALLY AWAKE NOW, EHI" A battered man sweats and mutters, "HE HATES MISSING HIS MEALS AFTER FIGHTS. WHAT'S DIFFERENTI" Sanji stands holding a tray, reacting with "AH... THAT'S DIFFERENT."

Luffy sleeps while devouring an enormous feast, plates stacked high. "HE'S SLEEPING LIKE THAT!!!I" someone yells. "PIRATE BRO'S AMAZING! HE'S SO SKILLFUL. SO HE SOMEHOW LEARNED HOW TO EAT WHILE SLEEPING." The Franky Family discusses their plight: "WE CAN'T REALLY GO ANYWHERE. EVEN THOUGH THE LOG POSE WILL BE READY... THE LOG POSE SHOULD BE READY IN A COUPLE OF DAYS, RIGHTI" A woman asks, "WHAT WILL YOU DO NOWI" They explain, "THEN THE GUESTS WE HAVE... MIGHT BE THEM. WE STORED THEM ALL IN THE BACK-STREET'S INN. THEY WERE ALL TAKEN AWAY BY AQUA LAGUNA... SO WE'RE STUCK HERE. ALL OF OUR CLOTHES AND FURNITURE... AND BELLEMERE-SAN'S MIKAN TREES... THE 100 MILLION BERI TO BUY US A NEW SHIP..."

The Straw Hats and Franky gather outside as a massive bundle of mikan trees crashes into view. Robin smiles while carrying the trees, saying, "I NEVER THOUGHT I'D SEE THEM AGAIN!! I'M SO HAPPY!!" Nearby voices apologize, "SORRY ABOUT THAT. BECAUSE WE THOUGHT YOU WERE ICEBURG-SAN'S ASSASSINS. WE TOOK ALL YOUR BELONGINGS WHEN WE KICKED YOU OUT." A man in a cowboy hat exclaims, "OH NO, THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!" Someone else shouts, "MIKAN TREES!!!" In the next panels the crew reacts with joy. "WE CAN CONTINUE OUR ADVENTURES!! OUR MONEY AND BELONGINGS ARE SAFE, TOO!!" "LOOK, GUYS!! MY MIKAN TREES ARE SAFE." "OH YEAH, YAAAY!!!" Chopper declares, "I DIDN'T TAKE MY EYES OFF ROBIN, EITHER!!" Usopp adds, "I EXAMINED THE FRANKY FAMILY'S INJURIES." The group cheers, "WE'RE BAAACK!!" Franky grins and says, "FUFU, I WON'T GO ANYWHERE ANYMORE. RIGHT!! GOOD JOB, CHOPPER!!"

Franky bursts in dramatically, shouting, "FRANKY!! GUYS, I'VE GOT SOMETHING TO TELL YOU! LISTEN!!!" The crew stares in surprise. He continues, "AOU! YOU GUYS BEING SUPER...!I ALL OF YOU... MEH, NOT ALL OF YOU ARE HERE, BUT IT'S ALL RIGHT!!" Franky then tells a story about the island's past: "OR IF EVERYONE DIED AND LEFT THE ISLAND IN RUINS... EVEN IF PEOPLE STARTED A WAR WITH RAINS OF BULLETS. THERE WAS A HUGE TREE THAT NEVER FELL." He explains, "PEOPLE STILL WENT BACK TO THE TREE AND USED IT TO REBUILD TOWNS AND NATIONS." The crew listens intently as he reveals, "WHAT IS THIS ALL OF A SUDDEN!I I WON'T LISTEN IF IT'S JUST SOME BORING STORY. HUSH! JUST LISTEN QUIETLY!!!" In a close-up, Franky solemnly names it: "TREASURE TREE 'ADAM.' THERE ARE ONLY A FEW TREES LIKE THAT IN THE WORLD... THAT STRONGEST TREE'S NAME IS"

Franky continues his tale with intensity: "AND THEN YOU GUYS APPEARED... A PIRATE GROUP WITH A LOT OF MONEY. I'VE ALWAYS WANTED TO HAVE THEM, BUT I COULDN'T BECAUSE THEY COST NEARLY 200 MILLION BERI. PARTS OF THE TREE... TREE... WHATI APPEAR ON THE BLACK MARKET ONCE IN A WHILE." He admits, "...!!! BUT BEFORE I KNEW IT, I WAS ALREADY DRAWING THE BLUEPRINTS BECAUSE I WANTED TO CATCH UP TO THE PERSON I LOOK UP TO... ONCE... I MADE A DECISION NOT TO BUILD SHIPS ANYMORE." An angry voice interrupts, "BASTARD!!! DON'T TELL ME YOU BOUGHT THAT CRAP WITH OUR MONEY!!!" Franky yells back, "JUST LISTEN!!" In a dramatic splash, he declares his dream: "WITH THE TREASURE TREE THAT CAN CROSS ANY SEA!!! MY DREAM IS TO MAKE A 'DREAM SHIP'"

Franky finishes passionately: "WHEN I FINISH IT, SO I'LL BUILD THIS SHIP NOW!! NOW I HAVE THE PARTS FROM THE TREASURE TREE AND THE BLUEPRINTS FOR A SHIP READY AS WELL!!" The crew stares in shock. Franky asks directly, "WITH THE SHIP THAT I MADE!!I WILL YOU GUYS SAIL" In the final panels he explains his feelings: "I GOT THE MONEY FROM YOU GUYS ANYWAY. IS TO HAVE SOMEONE I FAVOR SAIL WITH IT. WHAT WOULD MAKE ME HAPPIEST THAT'S RIGHT. ARE YOU GIVING US THE SHIP!!I THEN..." The Straw Hats react with surprise, "EHI EHI"

Franky stands proudly inside the Galley-La building, declaring, "CAN'T BE HELPED... TOM-SAN AND YOU... IN THE END, YOU'RE ALL THE SAME KINDA SHIPWRIGHTS... NGAGAGAGAGA..." He continues, "I'LL MAKE A TERRIFIC SHIP. GOLD ROGER'S 'ORO JACKSON' WAS ALSO MADE WITH THE PARTS OF THIS TREE. THE ONLY SHIP THAT MANAGED TO GO AROUND THE WORLD." The crew reacts with excitement. Luffy cheers, "I'M SO HAPPY!! LUFFY!! WE'RE GETTING A NEW SHIP!!!" Usopp adds, "WUUOOOH, WE CAN GO TO THE NEXT ISLAND!!" Nami exclaims, "YOU'RE SUCH A GOOD GUY!! WE'LL TAKE IT!!! THANKS, FRANKY~~~~!!!" Franky replies, "YEAH... NOW... I CAN UNDERSTAND TOM-SAN'S FEELINGS WHEN HE DIED WITH HIS PRIDE." A massive "GUCARAA!" sound effect erupts as the Galley-La Company logo appears. Elsewhere, Usopp wakes up on the ground, muttering "HRMMI" and "WHERE IS THISI" before panicking, "CRAP, I'VE GOTTA TELL THEM!! LUFFY'S STILL SLEEPING, TOO!!" as he dashes off with "HAA HAA" breaths.

A massive Marine warship approaches Water 7. Franky growls, "...EVEN THOUGH THEY SAVED ICEBURG-SAN!!!" The citizens panic: "GOOD GOD!! THEY CAME TO ARREST THE PIRATES..." Someone recognizes the ship, shouting, "THAT'S VICE ADMIRAL GARP'S WARSHIP FROM THE HEADQUARTERS!!" A narration box recalls, "'GARP,' YOU MEAN... THE LEGENDARY MARINE WHO CORNERED THE PIRATE KING GOLD ROGER WHEN HE WAS STILL AROUND!!I" On the docks, people yell, "THERE SHOULD BE PIRATES IN THERE!!" "N-NO, THERE AREN'T!!" "HEH!! YOU CAN'T COME IN LIKE THAT!!!" A Marine responds, "MARINES, SIR!!! THERE'S NO ONE BUT OUR PRESIDENT UP AHEAD...!!!" while another shouts, "P-PLEASE HOLD ON!!" The warship looms closer with dramatic sound effects.

Garp orders, "WAIT HERE, BOTH OF YOU." A Marine salutes, "YES, SIR!!" Luffy's crew reacts in shock as Garp charges forward. Sanji yells, "IDIOT!! WAIT!! THE STRAWHATS ARE-" A huge explosion erupts at the Galley-La Company building with "DEKAAAAA!!!" debris flying. Garp bursts through the wreckage. He spots the crew and asks, "YOU... ARE THE STRAWHAT'S CREW, AREN'T YOUI" The Straw Hats stare in disbelief amid the rubble, with "!!I" and "EH!!I" reactions. Garp looms over the destroyed entrance as the crew wonders, "WHO IS IT!!I" and "WHAT...!I"

Garp declares, "I BROUGHT SOMEONE I WANT MONKEY D. LUFFY TO MEET..." while the crew panics with "MARINES.....!!!" and "2222222!" Luffy lies unconscious until Garp delivers a massive punch, shouting "WAKE UP~~~~!!!" The impact creates a huge "DON!!!" effect, sending Luffy flying with "LUFFY!!!" The crew reacts in horror. Garp stands over the rubble as Luffy wakes up dazed, groaning "OO-OUCH!!!" and "OW!I" Garp explains, "IT WOULDN'T HURT YOUR RUBBER-" while Luffy complains, "OUCH!I WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT!I IT'S A PUNCH."

Garp looms over Luffy with a massive fist raised, grinning fiercely as he declares, "I HEARD YOU'VE BEEN DOING RECKLESS THINGS," followed by "THERE'S NO WAY" and "ANYONE CAN ESCAPE THE FIST OF LOVE!!" Luffy shouts "LUFFY!!" in shock. The impact lands with a massive "GRIN" sound effect and bold "!!!!" impact lines. In the next panel Luffy reels back, clutching his head with wide eyes and yelling "GRANDPA!!!" as sweat flies and impact stars burst around him. The bottom panel widens to show the entire Straw Hat crew reacting in horror: Chopper, Usopp, Nami, Robin, Zoro, Sanji, and Franky all shout "GRANDPA!!I" and "WHAT!!I" while Luffy remains dazed in the foreground.
