END OF THE GAME

The announcer, Itomimizu, shouts excitedly into his microphone, "BOSS IS SENT SOARING IN THE SKY!!!" In the large center panel, Foxy is shown flying upside down through the air, his face battered, his nose bent, and his glasses broken. The announcer continues, "LUFFY'S GAME-ENDING PUNCH---!!!" Below, the Foxy Pirates look up in absolute shock and horror, their eyes wide and jaws dropped as they scream "BOSS!!!" watching their captain fall.

Foxy crashes violently into the ocean near his ship, the Sexy Foxy, sending up a massive splash of water with a loud "SPLASH" sound effect and a huge Japanese sound effect. On the shore, Robin, Chopper, Usopp, and Nami watch the impact with wide eyes and open mouths, stunned by the final blow. The announcer looks on silently from his bird as the water ripples with a "GURU GURA" sound where Foxy went under.

The announcer's voice echoes over the scene, "...OUTSIDE THE BATTLE-FIELD! THE POINT OF LANDING IS..." He continues, "OUR BOSS, FOXY, HAS TRAGICALLY FALLEN AFTER 920 STRAIGHT WINS. FOR THE FATEFUL BATTLE OF THE THIRD ROUND OF THIS DAVY BACK FIGHT, THE CAPTAIN VS CAPTAIN COMBAT ROUND, THE WINNER OF THIS ROUND IS..." Bubbles rise to the surface of the water where Foxy sank. On the shore, Luffy stands panting heavily, his body battered and bruised. With a fierce, determined expression, he declares, "EVEN IF... I DIE!!! I WON'T LET YOU HAVE... ANY OF MY NAKAMA..." He breathes heavily with a "SFX: HEH... HEH..."

The crowd in the stadium erupts into massive cheers, yelling "LUFFY!!!" and "STRAW HAT" with a loud "WAAAAAAH---" as Luffy stands victorious in the center of the ring. A loud "SFX: DON!!" accompanies the celebration. Meanwhile, Foxy's crew frantically pulls their unconscious captain out of the water, ringing a bell with a "SFX: DING DING DING DING". On the other side, the Straw Hat crew—Robin, Nami, Chopper, Zoro, and Sanji—cheer joyfully for their captain. They yell, "LUFFY!!!" and "THAT WAS BEAUTIFUL, LUFFY!!!" as they celebrate his hard-fought win.

Panic sets in among the Foxy Pirates. They cry out, "EVEN OUR BOSS... LOST??!" and "DON'T JUST STAND THERE!! GO SAVE BOSS!!!" Several crew members volunteer to jump in, yelling, "OK!! I'LL GO!!" "NO, I'LL GO!!" "I'LL GO, TOO!!" "WAAH!!" The announcer officially declares, "FOXY PIRATES VS STRAW HAT PIRATES. UNDER THE THREE COIN RULE, FOR THIS DAVY BACK FIGHT......FIGHT IS NOW OVER---!!!" As he speaks, the Sexy Foxy ship begins to break apart, its large fox figurehead snapping off and crashing into the water with a "SFX: GOURU GOURU". The crew continues to yell "BOSS!!!" as they pull Foxy to safety.

The Straw Hats' ship, the Going Merry, is shown anchored in the background. The crew gathers around Luffy, who is lying flat on his back on the ground. Usopp pokes Luffy's face with a stick ("SFX: POKE POKE"), saying, "YOU REALLY MADE ME WORRY, BACK THERE!!! YOU!! YOU!!" Chopper panics, "YOU'RE POKING TOO HARD! ARE YOU TRYING TO KILL CAPTAIN?!" Nami admits, "I WAS SCARED, TOO. ALL THAT TALK ABOUT THE AFRO MAKING YOU STRONG..." Sanji adds, "NAMI-SAN, THE AFRO DOES MAKE YOU STRONG!" Suddenly, Luffy sits bolt upright, startling everyone. "AH!! HE WOKE UP!!!" they yell. Luffy looks around confused, "HUH!! THE GAME?? WHAT HAPPENED TO THE FIGHT? DIDN'T I WIN?" Sanji reassures him, "RELAX. YOU WON." Luffy mutters, "WAS I DREAMING??" before collapsing back onto the ground with a thud ("SFX: PADA"). "HN..."

Lying in the grass, Luffy smiles broadly and says, "THAT'S GOOD..." His crew reacts to the victory in their own ways: Robin chuckles softly, "HEE HEE...", Zoro looks serious and says, "I THOUGHT ABOUT IT. IF I LEFT THIS SHIP, I'D HAVE NO POINT IN BEING A PIRATE ANYMORE." Sanji scoffs, "MY ASS." Chopper and Usopp smile, saying, "I WASN'T WORRIED FOR A SECOND." "YUP." Nami simply smiles. Suddenly, a battered Foxy approaches, yelling, "HEY. STRAW HAT!!" His crew tries to stop him, crying "BOSS!!" and "YOU SHOULD BE RESTING!!" Foxy glares at Luffy and says, "IT'S ALL BECAUSE OF YOU THAT I'VE LOST MY PERFECT RECORD..."

Foxy extends his hand toward Luffy, saying, "NOT BAD. BROTHER." Luffy looks up, surprised by the gesture. Foxy's crew is moved to tears, crying "BOSS" as Luffy reaches out and shakes Foxy's hand. But in the next instant, Foxy violently flips Luffy over his shoulder, yelling, "EAT THIS!!! OVERHEAD THROW OF VENGEANCE!!!" Luffy crashes headfirst into the ground with a "SFX: DON!!" and "SFX: SHOO---". Zoro sweatdrops and calls him an "IDIOT," while Foxy's crew cheers, "BOSS!!!"

The announcer declares, "THE WINNER, CAPTAIN STRAW HAT, GETS TO TAKE A NEW CREW MEMBER!!! THAT'S RIGHT! THE LAST PART OF THE GAME STILL NEEDS DECIDING!!" Foxy, looking annoyed, says, "FINE! LET'S JUST GET THIS OVER WITH. WHAT DO YOU WANT??" The announcer suggests, "THEY SEEM TO BE LOOKING FOR A CARPENTER. IN THAT CASE, WILL THEY TAKE THE LEADER OF OUR 50-MEN MECHANIC TEAM, SONIEH?" (showing Sonieh). "OR WILL THEY PICK THE BATTLE-READY MECHANIC, DONOBAN?" (showing Donoban). "OR--- THE DOWN RIGHT SEXY CARPENTER, GINA-CHAN??" (showing Gina). Foxy crosses his arms and says, "ONLY THE CAPTAIN CAN DECIDE WHO TO PICK! NOW PLEASE DECIDE." Chopper, meanwhile, is crying, thinking, "I WANT MY CHOPPY BACK..."

Luffy smiles brightly and points, declaring, "I CHOOSE YOUR FLAG." The entire Foxy crew is struck dumb with shock, screaming "WHAT?!!!" with a loud "SFX: GAAAN!!!" Foxy is horrified, yelling, "YOU'RE... EVIL!!! YOU DIDN'T EVEN GIVE IT A THOUGHT AND YOU WANT TO ROB US OF OUR PRIDE!!?" Nami sighs in relief, "PHEW... IF WE HAD FOUGHT FOR SOMETHING LIKE THAT. IT WOULDN'T BE WORTH IT..." Sanji, however, is furious, yelling at Luffy, "HEY, LUFFY!! THINK AGAIN! ISN'T SEXY GINA-CHAN A LOT BETTER? YOU WON'T GET ANOTHER CHANCE AT THIS!!!"

Luffy explains, "I DON'T WANT YOUR SAIL. JUST THE FLAG. OTHERWISE YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO LEAVE. RIGHT??" Foxy's crew is touched, saying, "HEH? HOW THOUGHTFUL..." But Foxy cries, "BUT OUR SYMBOL IS IN OUR SAIL, TOO! WE WON'T BE ABLE TO USE THAT!! YEAH!! STOP PRETENDING TO BE NICE! JUST TAKE EVERYTHING!!!" Luffy calmly replies, "...OKAY, OKAY. I'LL JUST ERASE YOUR SYMBOL FOR YOU. THEN I'LL GIVE YOU A NEW ONE. THAT WAY YOU WILL BE ABLE TO USE YOUR SAIL." Foxy weeps, "STRAW HAT... YOU'RE... SO NICE..." In the final panel, Luffy has painted a terrible, crude, wobbly version of a fox skull and crossbones on their sail. "OK. DONE," he says. The Foxy crew falls to their knees in despair, crying, "THAT'S HORRIBLE!!!" A note explains that the inscription on the sail is "Kitsune" (Fox).

The Foxy Pirates run away crying, while Luffy laughs, "THEY LOOK SO GRATEFUL, TOO!!" They yell back, "NO, WE'RE NOT!!!" Porche chases after Chopper, crying, "CHOPPY! JUST ONE MORE HUG--!!" but Chopper runs away screaming, "NOOOOO---". The announcer officially declares, "THE WINNER IS... THE STRAW HAT CREW!! THE DAVY BACK FIGHT WILL NOW OFFICIALLY END!!!" The Straw Hats stand victorious on the shore as the Foxy Pirates sail away on their ship, now bearing Luffy's terrible drawing on their sail.

The Straw Hats walk back toward the Going Merry, cheering, "HOORAY!!! GOING MERRY IS FREE AGAIN!!" Suddenly, Foxy yells from his departing ship, "HEY!! STRAW HAT!!" Luffy turns around with a "HM?" Foxy shakes his fist and yells, "I'LL GET YOU FOR THIS!!!" Luffy just smiles and says, "THEY NEVER GIVE UP, DO THEY?"

The scene shifts to Tonjit's tent, where his long-necked horse, Shelly, is resting on the grass. Tonjit sits beside her, smiling. "HAHAHA, DON'T WORRY. YOU WAITED TEN WHOLE YEARS FOR ME. NOW IT'S MY TURN. I'LL KEEP WAITING......UNTIL YOU'RE HEALED. THEN WE'LL CATCH UP WITH THE OTHERS TOGETHER." Shelly neighs softly, "HIHI---N". "SHERRY..." Suddenly, Tonjit hears footsteps approaching ("ZA ZA"). He looks up, "HM?...OKAY. OKAY!" Shelly neighs again.

The Straw Hats approach Tonjit's tent. Luffy calls out, "YOU GUYS..." He drops the Foxy Pirates' flag on the ground in front of Tonjit and says, "WE KICKED THEIR ASS." Tonjit smiles warmly and says, "THANK YOU..." Shelly neighs happily. Tonjit notices Luffy's injuries and says, "YOU'RE HURT PRETTY BAD, YOURSELF." Luffy laughs it off, "NAH... THIS IS NOTHING. I'LL CHANGE THE BANDAGES. SHERRY," he says with a "HE HE".

Nami realizes Luffy's motivation, saying, "I SEE... SO THIS IS WHY YOU ACCEPTED THE CHALLENGE." Usopp interjects, "BUT AN IDIOT LIKE YOU WOULD'VE ACCEPTED IT EITHER WAY. HEY! RESPECT YOUR CAPTAIN!" Nami asks Tonjit, "WHY DON'T WE TAKE YOU TO YOUR PEOPLE ON OUR SHIP??" Tonjit declines, explaining, "NO... THESE TEN ISLANDS ARE ACTUALLY THE SAME ONE. THE GUIDE POST WON'T POINT TO THEM INDIVIDUALLY. NO PROBLEM. NO PROBLEM. I'M AN EASY-GOING GUY. I'M NOT IN A HURRY." He then looks past them and says, "LET'S SEE... THESE MUST BE YOUR FRIENDS?! SINCE YOU'RE ALL HERE, ALLOW ME TO TREAT YOU WITH SOMETHING NICE! WHAT DO YOU HAVE? THAT CHEESE AGAIN? HAHAH!" The Straw Hats turn around to see a very tall man standing behind them.

The tall man is revealed to be wearing a white suit and vest, with a sleep mask resting on his forehead. He is standing completely still, fast asleep, with a "ZZZZ" sound effect. Usopp and Luffy freak out, yelling, "WA!! WHAT... IS THAT?" "IT'S A PERSON?!" "WAS HE THERE THE WHOLE TIME?" The man suddenly wakes up, saying, "HUH?!!" He looks at them and asks, "WHO THE HECK ARE YOU?!" Usopp angrily retorts, "THAT'S WHAT WE WERE ASKING YOU!!? I THOUGHT YOU WERE A TREE."

Robin suddenly gasps, her eyes wide with absolute terror. She collapses to the ground, trembling and panting, "AH... AH..." "EH!?" "HUH?" The rest of the crew is confused and concerned. Sanji asks, "WHAT'S WRONG, ROBIN-CHAN?" Zoro and Luffy look at her, "ROBIN??" Usopp notices the connection, "THEY KNOW EACH OTHER?" The tall man looks down at Robin and says calmly, "ARARARARA... YOU SURE HAVE GROWN TO A FINE YOUNG WOMAN... ROBIN NICO." A caption box identifies him as "MARINE MAIN BASE -GENERAL- AOKIJI". A note explains that Aokiji means Blue Pheasant.
