Elbaf's Western Village

The One Piece logo appears at the top. Below it, the chapter title reads "CHAPTER 1135: CAMARADERIE CUPS". A large splash panel depicts a fierce battle: Oni-child Yamato, with horns and a club, clashes against a massive, snarling creature with sharp teeth and a spiked collar. Yamato swings the club while shouting, "I'M STRONGER THAN I WAS BEFORE!" The panel is labeled "ONI-CHILD YAMATO AND THE HOLY INARI SHRINE PILGRIMAGE - VOL 21:". Two small figures sit atop a giant open book. In the giant tree library of Elbaf, speech bubbles discuss Bibelot's power: "TO THINK EVEN INORGANIC THINGS CAN GROW WITH HIS POWER!!", "HE MUST HAVE EATEN THE REAR-REAR FRUIT AND BECOME A NURTURING OWL!!", "THAT'S A PERFECT ABILITY FOR A KINGDOM OF GIANTS!", "BUT SOMETIMES THE FISHERMEN BRING SOME TINY PAPERS BACK HERE SO WE CAN READ THEM," and "NEWS COOS DON'T COME TO ELBAF SINCE IT'S NOT PART OF THE WORLD GOVERNMENT." Below, a woman in a black dress and a small horned girl examine books. The woman says, "I KNOW WE HAD A FEW, BUT MOST OF IT WAS ARCHAEOLOGICAL AND HISTORICAL WORKS." The girl replies, "I HOPE THEY HAVE MEDICAL BOOKS HERE." A giant with a long beard asks, "FEELING NOSTALGICI" and receives "YEAH." The girl exclaims, "WOW!! I CAN'T WAIT TO READ THEM!" while the woman adds, "WE GOT SOME MEDICAL BOOKS NATIVE TO ELBAF, TOO!" The giant owl Bibelot reacts with shock: "WHAAAAAT!!" and "ALTHOUGH, THOSE BOOKS WERE ALWAYS LARGE, SO THEY CAN'T BE SHRUNK DOWN..."

Luffy and his friends rocket through the air on a massive wooden swing, the structure cracking and spinning wildly. Luffy clings to the edge with a huge grin, shouting "YAHOO!!" while Usopp tumbles nearby yelling "GYAAAH!!" and "WAAAHH!" A voice cries out "PUSH HARDER! HARDER!" as the swing hurtles forward. Below, panicked giants and children react in terror. One shouts "HEY, I WANTED IT TO STOP, TOO..." Another adds "CAN'T YOU SEE THAT YOU'RE SCARING THEMI!" A small giant whimpers "WE'RE VERY SOWWEEE..." In the final panel Luffy beams with pure joy, declaring "THIS GIANT SWING......IS THE BEST!!!"

Sanji reacts with surprise "HMI" while a giant warrior scolds Luffy: "BACK OFF, LUFFY!! THESE KIDS WERE RAISED WITH NOTHING BUT LOVE AND KINDNESS!!" A woman named Gerda comforts a crying child, saying "WAAAH! IT WAS SO SCARY, MISS GERD!!" and "AWW, YOU POOR THING!" Usopp notes the chaotic scene: "YEAH, BUT IT'S NOT LIKE THIS IS A PEACEFUL ELBAF IS A BAD THING..." Luffy then launches himself with a massive attack, shouting "YOU'RE WIDE OPEN!!" and "SO MUCH FOR PEACEFUL..." as an unseen voice yells "THERE YOU ARE, STRAW HAT!!" and "GYAAAH!!"

Luffy activates Gear Third, his arm inflating as he yells "GUM-GUM..." A giant helmeted warrior reacts with shock "!!I" and "WHATI!" Luffy unleashes a powerful strike, roaring "ELEPHANT GUN!!" The impact creates a massive explosion of debris and smoke with loud SFX "ドゴォン!!" and "ビキィィ!!" The warrior is sent flying backward, crying "WAHHH!!" as the ground erupts around them.

The giant swing structure shakes violently as someone screams "KYAAAHHH!" A voice protests "I DIDN'T EVEN HIT HIM!" while another warns "DON'T OVERDO IT, YOU DUMMY!" Luffy grins widely and declares "SHI SHI SHI! IT'S GOOD TO KNOW NOT EVERYONE AROUND HERE IS SPINELESS!" A blonde girl shouts "I HATE VIOLENCE!!" and "THAT LUFFY IS A MEANIE!!" while a helmeted figure yells "WHY DO YOU HAVE TO PULL THESE STUNTS AND DISTURB SCHOOLI! OUR RESIDENT DELINQUENT IS HERE! YOU'RE JUST AS BAD, COLON!" The crowd reacts with fear and excitement, one exclaiming "THAT WAS SO COOL!! YOU'RE AN EMPEROR ALL RIGHT!!" and another crying "KYAAAH!! HE'S SUCH A BRUTE!!"

High in the treetop village of Elbaf, a tall curly-haired woman in fur-trimmed clothing laughs heartily while holding a basket. "EHE HE HE! AH!! MOM, MATO-SAN MADE ALL YOUR FAVORITES!!" she exclaims. Another voice adds, "BUT THAT WAS A SOLID FIRST STRIKE!!" and "COLON!! DON'T CAUSE A SCENE!!" Below, a small armored figure with a pointed helmet stands with a sword, reacting in shock. "WHAAAAATI! YOU'RE A MOM, RIPLEY-CHANI!" someone cries. Ripley points accusingly, retorting about teaching her son the old ways and demanding an apology for a sneak attack. In the lower panels, Ripley smiles warmly while speaking with a blonde woman and a small child in a horned hat. She explains, "OUR MARRIAGE IS MORE INFORMAL BECAUSE OF THAT AGE GAP..." and notes her husband is much younger. The child reacts with wide eyes: "YOUR DAD'S HUMANI!" and "WOW! LINGONBERRIES!! I'M SO HAPPY!!" Ripley asks, "DID YOU KNOW MY FATHER'S A HUMAN, TOOI!" as the child beams.

The Straw Hats arrive at a massive library built into the giant trees of Elbaf. Luffy, inside a small vessel, shouts excitedly, "WOAAAH!! EVEN THE LIBRARY IS AWESOME HERE!!" and "THESE BOOKS ARE HUUUUGE!!" Nearby, a blonde man in a dark jacket stands with hands on hips, saying he has a resident permit and will hang around. A small child cheers, "ME TOO!!" Inside the library, a large armored giant laughs, "DERESH! SHI SHI SHI! THOSE GUYS PARTY FOR THREE DAYS STRAIGHT, SO WE'LL HAVE PLENTY OF TIME!" while a tiny figure waves, "I'M STAYING TOO!" and "GOT IT!" A dark-haired woman smiles and says, "LUFFY!! I WANT TO MEET YOU AT THE FEAST LATER..." In the lower section, the group discusses the area. A woman with light hair asks about Gerd, while Luffy grins widely, "I GOTTA EAT BEFORE I STARVE!! I'M AT MY LIMIT!!" A massive horned warrior declares, "YEAH... THERE ARE A FEW ADAM TREES AROUND THE WORLD, BUT THE AGE OF THIS ONE IS OFF THE CHARTS!" and "I WANNA LEARN MORE ABOUT THE TREASURE TREE WHILE WE'RE HERE!" Another notes the wood is the same kind used for the Sunny.

Luffy stares in shock from the vessel as a giant woman with a long braid leans in close, smiling. She says, "I'M GLAD YOU LIKE THEM!!" while Luffy blurts, "ALRIGHT, WE'LL MEET YOU GUYS AT THE VILLAGE!!" and "SEE YOU LATER!" The giantess continues, "KYAAAAH!! THEY'RE SO CUTE!!" and "I LIKE MAKING HUMAN CLOTHES FOR FUN!!" Nearby, Brook cheers, "YOHohoho!! THIS IS EXCELLENT! I LOOK MORE LIKE A WARRIOR NOW, DON'T II!" and "DAMN RIGHT, BROOK!! I'M FEELING STRONGER ALREADY!!" A massive warrior in heavy fur armor and horns stands proudly, commenting, "IT'S SURPRISINGLY COMFORTABLE." The group, including a small skeleton-like child and a woman in a fur vest, gathers together. The woman remarks, "THEY'RE WONDERFUL. ♡ THANKS, GERD!!" as the giants strike dramatic poses. Luffy's vessel begins to descend toward the village below amid clouds and distant structures.

Chaos erupts as a massive horned giant warrior is struck violently, flames and impact lines bursting around him. He roars, "HUH! WHAT'S WRONGI!" and "IT HURTSSS!!!" while clutching his face. A cloaked figure attacks repeatedly with "DODODO!" sounds. In a side panel, guards at Ouest Castle confront intruders: "WHAT ARE YOU TWERPS DOING HEREI WE GUARDS CAN'T LET YOU ROAM FREE, Y'KNOW!" and "ARE YOU PART OF THE STRAW HAT CREWI WHAT BUSINESS DO YOU HAVE IN THIS COUNTRYI" A close-up shows an intense eye glaring as a voice states, "WE'RE LOOKING FOR THE ONE CALLED LOKI." At the castle gates, two warriors stand ready. One demands, "LOKII! WHY WOULD YOU WANT TO SEE THAT CRIMINALI!" while another shouts, "DAGYA GYA GYA GYA!" The narrative reveals the country suffered greatly because of the kingslaying fiend who killed beloved King Harold. A small figure is knocked back with "BOGI!" sounds amid rubble, yelling, "IT HURTS!! AAAAAHHHHH!!" and "THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU'RE TOO RUDE AND PRIDEFUL."

The Straw Hat Pirates receive a thunderous welcome in Western Village, Elbaf. Giants and crew alike raise barrels high as cheers erupt. "AND TO HIS CREW THAT TOOK DOWN THOSE MONSTERS, KAIDO AND BIG MOM, AT WANOO!!" "HERE'S TO THE GREAT PIRATE, STRAW HAT LUFFY!!! ONE OF THE FOUR EMPERORS!!" "WE MAY BE SMALL BUT THEY AREN'T LOOKING DOWN ON US!!" "ALL OF US WOULD LIKE TO OFFICIALLY WELCOME YOU TO ELBAF!" "YEAH, WE FINALLY MADE IT!!" "WE'VE COME A LONG WAY FROM THE EAST BLUE!!" A massive toast follows with crashing barrels: "CHEERS!!" "...FOR THE STRAW HAT CREW!!" "RAISE YOUR CAMARADERIE CUPS..." The giants roar, "THE HOMELAND OF THE WORLD'S GREATEST WARRIORS!!" "WE ALWAYS DREAMED OF COMING TO THE COUNTRY OF GIANTS!!" Luffy and the crew are hoisted up amid the celebration as the giants declare, "AND YOU SAVED ME FROM BEING ERASED!!" "YOU FREED US AFTER WE WERE FOOLED!!" "AFTER ALL, YOU SMALL FOLK DEFENDED OUR PRIDE!!" "WE'VE BEEN EXPECTING YOU!!!"

A colossal giant with a flowing white beard looms over the village, identified as MOUNTAIN BEARD JARUL (HERO OF THE GIANTS, THE OLDEST ONE IN THE WORLD, 408-YEARS-OLD). Jarul reacts in shock at the tiny visitors: "OH MY, IT LOOKS LIKE WE HAVE SOME TINY GUESTS!!" Luffy stares up in awe. "THAT GIANT'S BUILT LIKE A MOUNTAIN!!" Jarul clutches his head as an impact strikes, yelling "BUT IT'S GOING RIGHT THROUGH!!" and "I'M LUCKY MY HELMET SAVED ME." Nearby, Hajrudin and others discuss past events: "I'LL DEFINITELY REPAY THIS DEBT ONE DAY!! THANK YOU!!" "AFTER HAJRUDIN TOLD ME WE WERE GONNA BE UNDER YOUR UMBRELLA..." Luffy exclaims, "HUH, AREN'T YOU THE GIANT THAT WAS CAUGHT ON SABAODYI!" A flashback panel shows Hajrudin's capture. Jarul asks, "ELDER JARUL, YOU MADE IT!!" The Straw Hats and giants gather as Jarul inquires about the commotion. Luffy grins, "BOJA JA JA! OH, THIS OLD THINGI"
