Level 3, Starvation Hell

Alarms blare across Impel Down as sirens wail "ビーーー!! ビーーー!!". Marines on the massive stone bridge leading to the towering prison fortress react in panic. One shouts, "WHEN DID HE SLIP PAST US...!I" Another yells, "WE'RE ON THE HIGHEST ALERT LEVEL HERE!" Below, a Marine officer with a large hat and beard barks orders: "WE WILL ENTER THE PRISON AND, IN THE NAME OF THE MARINES, CAPTURE STRAWHAT LUFFY!!!" His men salute, "YES, SIR!!!" Nearby panels show chaos as one Marine warns, "WOULD BECOME THE LAUGHING-STOCKS OF THE WORLD!!!" and another adds, "NOT JUST IMPEL DOWN, BUT THE ENTIRE WORLD GOVERNMENT." A wanted poster of Monkey D. Luffy is displayed with the note, "HE'S JUST ONE MAN...!!!" and "BUT IF ANYTHING WERE TO HAPPEN TO ACE..."

Inside the prison, a striking woman with long flowing hair, heart-shaped pupils, and large horn-like headpieces stands confidently holding a massive trident. She declares, "I'M SADI-CHAN, A GIRL WHO LOVES TORTURE!!" A voice reacts, "WHO'RE YOU...!I" She continues, "ACCEPTING HELP FROM THE MARINES ON TOP OF THE INFILTRATION WILL ONLY ADD TO IMPEL DOWN'S HUMILIATION!!!" and "HMMM- WAIT RIGHT THERE!!!" A sign identifies her as "Impel Down Chief Guard Sadi-chan". Another figure questions her with "!I" while she poses dramatically amid the stone corridors and weapons.

Sadi-chan spins her weapon with a loud "Zババババーン!!!" as a Marine protests, "YOU'RE REFERRING TO YOURSELF AS 'CHAN'...I ARE YOU KIDDING...I" She snaps back, "SILENCE!!! YOU HAVE TO CALL ME SADI-CHAN!!" The Marine is struck, "GUWAH!!" Elsewhere, a bearded man asks, "WAIT... ARE YOU SAYING YOU DON'T NEED OUR HELPI" Sadi-chan replies with a heart, "MMM...♡ I CAN'T GET ENOUGH OF THOSE SCREAMS....!!" while covering her face in ecstasy as another voice screams, "....!!! UWAAAAH!!!" She then states firmly, "THAT'S RIGHT... OUR PRISON IS A LABYRINTH STRAIGHT OUT OF HELL...!!! PEOPLE LIKE YOU WITH NO KNOWLEDGE OF THE INTERIOR WILL BE NO HELP AT ALL. IF YOU JUST STAY HERE AND SURROUND THE PERIMETER, THAT WILL BE PLENTY. WE'LL RAISE THIS DRAWBRIDGE, WHICH IS THE ONLY EXIT, AND IMPEL DOWN WILL BE♡ COMPLETELY ISOLATED!!!" A small creature reacts with "!I" as she stands ready with her trident.

A vast circular fortress rises from the sea floor, surrounded by Marine ships. Overwhelming sound effects rumble across the sky. A voice pleads, "PLEASE, REST ASSURED...!!!" Another states, "THERE IS NO WAY TO ESCAPE." An unseen speaker moans with hearts, "MMMMA-♥ THIS GREAT SEA FLOOR PRISON...!!!!" Below, guards stare in shock. Multiple voices repeat, "A KOALA...I" One guard yelps, "EH...I!" A small figure with horns and a trident stands revealed. Someone remarks, "IS THAT A KOALA...I" Another says, "THAT'S A GOOD BOY..." A stern guard concludes, "...VERY WELL, WE WILL STAND OUTSIDE." The scene cuts to the massive sealed gate as narration declares, "IMPEL DOWN HAS BEEN COMPLETELY CUT OFF!!!" Loud impact sounds echo.

Inside the prison corridors, Magellan appears with a shocked expression, asking, "MAGELLAN'S HERE TOO. WHAT'S GOING ONI" Hannyabal sweats heavily. A sign reads, "Floor Where Ace is Being Held." Jimbei stands nearby with a serious face. A large striped figure grips a trident and asks, "WHO DO YOU THINK IT IS...I" Jimbei warns, "JIMBEI... YOU'VE NEVER MET HER FACE TO FACE, SO YOU WON'T RECOGNIZE HER..." The figure announces, "WE'VE GOT A SPECIAL VISITOR FOR YOU... ACE!!" In the lower level, the same figure stands with arms crossed as background figures watch. Voices identify the visitor: "ONE OF THE ROYAL SHICHIBUKAI...!!!" "THE EMPRESS OF THE WARRIOR RACE, THE KUJA." "HER NAME IS WIDELY KNOWN, THOUGH SHE DOESN'T SHOW HERSELF..."

Boa Hancock stands revealed in the center, long black hair flowing, wearing a dark hooded outfit with snake patterns. Onlookers react wildly: "BOA HANCOCK HERSELF!!!" "HYU HYU!!!" "STRONG AND SUBLIME, THE WORLD'S MOST BEAUTIFUL WOMAN!! THE PIRATE EMPRESS..." Hannyabal is struck and yells, "OUCH!!" "WHAT ARE YOU DOING...I" "THAT REALLY HURT!!" He clutches his face, protesting, "I WANT TO BE THE CHIEF WARDEN REALLY BAD!! AH, NO, WAIT, WHAT I MEANT TO SAY WAS..." A small figure is knocked aside with impact sounds "PAN!" "CAN!!" Close-ups show Hancock's intense gaze and sweat drops as reactions continue around her.

Prisoners erupt in excitement. One shouts, "THAT'S HEBIHIME OF THE KUJA!!! OHH, LOOK OVER HERE!!!" Another cries, "UWOOOH!!! IT'S TRUE! I SMELLED A GOOD WOMAN HERE!!" Voices clamor: "AHH, SHE SMELLS AMAZING!! I WANNA GO TO THE ISLE OF WOMEN!" "GYAHAA-HAHA!!" "C'MON, LADY, WON'T YOU COME INTO MY CELLI I'LL TREAT YOU RIGHT!" "HANCOCK! ♥" "NOTHING BUT WOMEN!! YA THINK THEY JUST GO NAKED ALL THE TIME!!I" "LOOK AT THAT, SHE'S SO SEXY!" Hancock stands calmly among the chaos. She replies, "THE MAN WHO'S GOING TO TRIGGER THE WAR I'LL BE JOINING..." "NOTHING... I JUST WANTED TO LAY EYES ON YOU..." Turning slightly, she asks, "WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME...I"

In the stone corridors of Impel Down, onlookers react to the scene. "SO EVEN THE IMMOVABLE EMPRESS... IS HELPING THE GOVERNMENT NOW..." "IS YOUR SHICHIBUKAI TITLE THAT IMPORTANT TO YOU!!!I" A guard yells, "COME OVER HERE!!" while another shouts "DON'T IGNORE US!!!" and "BOA HANCOCK!!" Others cheer "UWOH! UWOH!" A voice notes, "...ENJOYING THE SHOW...I" and someone reacts with "...!!!!" Below, Magellan stands with arms crossed beside Boa Hancock and her snake Salome. Prisoners and guards clamor: "HEY, HEISHIME, THE ISLE OF WOMEN IS STARVED FOR MEN, RIGHT!I" "HAND OVER THE WARDEN'S SEAT ALREADY!!" "BUHAHAHA, YOU GOT THAT RIGHT." "SHUT UP, MAGELLAN!! YOU DIARRHEA BASTARD!!!" "THEY'RE HAVING A CONVERSATION, CAN'T YOU BE QUIETI" "HEY, HEY, LADY! LADY!" A vice-warden watches nearby. Hancock thinks, "I SEE... DON'T BARE YOUR FANGS AT ME..." and notes, "...SO YOU'RE JIMBEI..." In close-up, Hancock blushes with a heart, thinking "So scary..." and "It's scary..." while a small heart appears. A guard reacts "UWOH!! SHE'S LOOKING THIS WAY!" and another says "...YOU THERE!! WHEN YOU YELL LIKE BARBARIANS..."

A massive splash of poison erupts as Magellan transforms. "IT LOOKS LIKE I NEED TO TEACH YOU WHO THE BOSS OF THIS PRISON IS..." The enormous poison dragon looms with the caption "THE HYDRA* IS OUT!!!" Onlookers react in horror: "THIS REALLY IS THE MOST BARBARIC PLACE IN THE WORLD." "DISGUSTING..." "THAT'S ONE HELLUVA WOMAN! WHY DON'T YOU LEAVE HER HERE, YOU SHITHEAD!!!I" "BUHY-AAAAH!!! I CAN'T TAKE IT!!!" A guard yells "ARE YOU THE SAME AS THEM, YOU SHIT-HEAD!!I" while another laughs "BUHYAA, I CAN'T TAKE IT~" and notes "...YOU KNOW, CHIEF WARDEN, IT LOOKS LIKE YOUR AUTHORITY IS COMPLETELY GONE. MAYBE YOU'RE NOT FIT TO CONTINUEI" Magellan declares "BUT... IT'S TRUE, I CAN'T ACCEPT THIS DISCOURTESY..." The Hydra strikes as guards panic: "...!!I UGH!!! THIS IS BAD!!!" "LEAVE HANCOCK HERE---!!!" "DON'T GET CARRIED AWAY....!!!" "WE'RE IN DANGER TOO!! CHIEF, PLEASE WAIT!!!" "WAH!!"

Poison splashes wildly as a striped creature screams "AAAHH!!!" and "UWOOAAH!!" Magellan roars "STOP, MAGELLAN!!!" while a guard yells "HEY, YOU IDIOT, STOP JOKING AROUND!!" Magellan looms with dripping poison: "I HAVE THE AUTHORITY TO SENTENCE YOU ALL TO DEATH" and "NEVER FORGET, AND THE POWER TO DO IT MYSELF....!!!" A victim cries "UWAA AAHH..." as another gasps "IT'S NO GOOD, YOU'RE GONNA DIE!" and "AHH... THE ANTIDOTE... WHERE'S THE ANTIDOTE...I DAMN IT....!!!" Elsewhere, a bloodied prisoner reacts "...!!!" and "... HEY....!!! IS WHAT YOU SAID TRUE....!!!I" Magellan stands calmly and says "YOU CAN HAVE YOUR CONVERSATION IN PEACE..." "... NO NEED, I'M DONE." A guard notes "NOW, LADY HANCOCK..." and another mutters "TCH..."

Boa Hancock stands composed with Salome coiled nearby. She says, "OH YES... AND HE WAS WORRIED" and "THAT YOU WOULD BE MAD AT HIM." "I HAVE NO REASON TO LIE..." A prisoner wonders "...!!! WHAT DID THAT WOMAN SAY...!I" while another asks "ACE... WHAT DID SHE SAYI" and "I DON'T KNOW... I WAS SUPER RUNNING AWAY FROM YOU, CHIEF WARDEN....!!!" A guard reacts "....!!!" In a close-up, a prisoner sweats and thinks "... THE ONE YOU'RE ALWAYS TALKING ABOUT...I" and "THE STRAWHAT KID...!!!I THAT'S RECKLESS!!" Hancock's face fills the panel as she thinks "MY BROTHER... IS HERE....!!!"

Luffy climbs a stone staircase inside the sweltering stone corridors of Level 3. Sweat pours down his face as he pants, "HAA... HAA..." He mutters, "HUH...I WHEN DID I START GOING UPI" and "IT'S SO HOT... HAA... I WANT TO GO DOWN..." A boxed caption reads "Level 3, Starvation hell." Through a guard's scope, a Marine officer confirms, "YES, WE SEE HIM. HE'S ENTERED BLOCK C." Luffy continues running while a guard complains, "AND I'M HUNGRY..." Suddenly the floor gives way beneath him; he plummets through a trap of kairoseki nets, crying "UWAH!!" as impact lines and debris explode around him.

Luffy crashes through multiple layers of kairoseki nets, yelling "FUGEH!!!" and "UWAH... THAT WAS CLOSE!! HAA... HAA!!" A massive lion-like beast with wings and horns lunges at him, roaring with fangs bared. Luffy shouts "UWAH!! DAMN... THE LION!!!" and "SHIT!" The beast snaps its jaws while Luffy tumbles. Suddenly a striped figure appears, shouting "I CAME TO HELP!!!" Luffy stares in shock, exclaiming "EHH!!I ZORO!!I" and "NO!!!" while the newcomer declares, "WAIT, LION!!!"

Luffy gapes, "THAT'S NOT ZORO..." as the striped figure spins into an attack labeled "SWAN ARABESQUE" and yells "LONG TIME NO SEE!!! STRAW-CHAN!!!" The Sphinx counters with "NGHAHA-HAHAHA!!!" Bon Clay retorts, "OUTTA MY WAY!!! WHAT THE HELL ARE YA DOIN TO MY FRIEND!I" and "I'M A LITTLE DISAPPOINTED THAT IT'S NOT ZORO!!" Luffy cries "BON-CHAAAN!!!" The Sphinx roars "COME ON, SPHINX!!! COUNTER-ATTACK!!!" while Bon Clay lands a powerful strike that sends the beast flying.

Bon Clay stands atop the downed Sphinx, declaring "ALL RIGHT!! THAT SHOULD KEEP HIM DOWN FOR NOW!" and "NGHAHA-HAHA!!" while the beast groans. Luffy, still dangling, shouts "HEY, BON-CHAN, I THOUGHT YOU DIED!!" Bon Clay laughs "OKAMA DON'T DIE, YOU KNOW!!! EH!I IS THAT TRUEI" and "YOU TOOK OUR PLACE BACK THEN!!" The Sphinx struggles beneath them as Bon Clay keeps it pinned. A small sign near the beast reads "YANSORA BREAD."

A scroll diagram explains Mister 2 Bon Clay's ability: "If he touches somebody's face with his right hand, he can copy their appearance at any time (the left hand changes back)." The label reads "Mister 2 Bon Clay's Ability Explanation: The Mane Mane Fruit, a copy man." Bon Clay demonstrates with exaggerated faces and stick-figure panels marked "TOUCH!" In the next panels, prisoners and guards react in the background as voices ask, "THAT'S RIGHT. WILL YOU TELL ME HOW TO GET THEREI" and "BY THE WAY STRAW-CHAN, ARE YOU REALLY PLANNING ON GOING TO LEVEL 5!I" A panicked figure shouts, "UH OH!!! BLUGOR!!! YOU ABSOLUTELY CAN'T LET THEM GET AWAY!!!" Luffy and Bon Clay then burst forward with wide grins and clenched fists. Luffy yells, "REALLY!I" Bon Clay replies, "THERE'S ACTUALLY SOMEONE I WANT TO SEE ON LEVEL 5 TOO!!!" They slam their fists together as Bon Clay declares, "WELL THEN, LET'S GO TOGETHER!!!"
