"IT WAS A WHILE AFTER WE LEFT YOU GUYS AT WATER 7...!" "CATCHING UP WITH THE GIANTS!!" Luffy laughs atop a giant: "ANYONE'D BE CURIOUS AFTER 100 YEARS!! DAHA HA HA" while being playfully squeezed. Usopp yells: "IT'S CALLED ABSINTHE: 'THE GREEN FAIRY!'" "THIS IS SOME STRONG BOOZE!!" "YOU TELL HER, USOPP!!" Nami protests: "C'MON, NAMI! DIDN'T YOU LEARN A THING BACK ON LITTLE GARDENI!" A giant warns: "CAREFUL, THERE'S A CHANCE IT'LL MAKE YOU HALLUCINATE!! GYA GA GA!!" Nami asks: "SO YOU'RE STILL FIGHTINGI!" "YOU WENT FOR NEW WEAPONSI" The giant replies: "OF COURSE!" A blatant affront to the Emperor: the pirate Bartolomeo the Cannibal burned the city's flag and entered Emperor Red-Haired Shanks' territory. Townspeople and pirates react in shock amid smoke and debris as the flag burns. A man in a top hat and coat stands among the crowd. Bartolomeo kneels on the ground before several figures. One declares, "AND MY FRIENDS AND ALLIES WOULD BECOME TARGETS." Another replies firmly, "YOU'RE ABSOLUTELY RIGHT!!" A voice continues, "...RELY ON MY FLAG. IF I JUST LET THIS SLIDE, PEOPLE WOULD LOSE FAITH IN IT..." The narration adds, "MANY CREWS AND ISLANDS..."

Bartolomeo lies sprawled on the ground after being struck, crying out, "WE WEREN'T THINKIN!! IT WAS A FOOLISH MISTAKE!!" and "PLEASE FORGIVE US!!" A stern man with long hair glares silently. In town, three men in hats and coats discuss the situation. One explains the poison: "IT CAUSES INTENSE PAIN. BLOOD ERUPTS FROM THE VICTIM TILL THEY FINALLY DIE." Another states, "WE CAN OVERLOOK THIS IF YOUR BOSS TAKES RESPONSIBILITY." Bartolomeo, now seated and holding a small vial with a skull, reacts with shock as voices say, "SEE TO IT THAT STRAW HAT LUFFY TAKES THIS WITHIN A MONTH!! THIS IS A DEADLY POISON." A subordinate insists, "THERE'S NO WAY WE COULD DO THAT TO LUFFY-SENPAI!!"

Bartolomeo suddenly bites into the poison vial with a loud "BITE!!" and "HUHI" as his crew reacts in horror: "WHATI! BOSS!!" and "STOP, BOSS!! YOU'RE GONNA DIE!!" The long-haired man huffs, "HUFF. THAT'S FINE BY ME!! IT'LL KILL YOU AND MAKE YOUR BLOOD SPURT OUT!!" while others gulp in fear. In a dramatic close-up, Bartolomeo roars with tears and blood, "HIS TIME IS TOO PRECIOUS... TO WASTE ON SOMEONE LIKE ME! I'M GOOD BEIN' JUST ANOTHER SCRUB WHO GOT KILLED TRYIN' TO SHOW UP AN EMPEROR!! LUFFY-SENPAI NEVER ASKED US TO SHARE THAT SAKE OR TAKE UP HIS FLAG!! I AIN'T GONNA GET HIM INVOLVED IN MY MESS!"

Bartolomeo's crew panics: "BOSSSS!!" "IT'S UP TO YOU GUYS NOW!" "DAMN IT ALL!! I THREW THAT CHANCE AWAY LIKE AN IDIOT!!" "AWW MAN, I WISH I COULDA SEEN LUFFY-SENPAI BECOME PIRATE KING!" Bartolomeo stands sweating with a question mark above his head. He suddenly burps loudly, "BURP!" The long-haired man growls, "SEE YOU AROUND......GUYS." The crew realizes the truth: "I THOUGHT THE EMPERORS WERE MEANT TO BE RUTHLESS!" "LOOKS LIKE THAT POISON WAS A FAKE; IT WOULDN'T HAVE HURT LUFFY-SENPAI AT ALL!!" "HE WAS SOFTER THAN I EXPECTED!!" They flee in panic toward a ship marked "CLUB," shouting "LET'S GET AS FAAAR AWAY AS POSSIBLE!" "WOW!! THEY JUST LEFT US BE!!" as the ship sails away.

A group of pirates argue heatedly. One with dreadlocks and a star-patterned cloak growls, "WE STILL GOTTA TEACH 'EM A LESSON!" Another turns and asks, "HEY, BOSS, MIND STEPPING OUT THE WAYI" Nearby voices chime in: "HE'S SO DEDICATED TO LUFFY!" and "ISN'T IT HARD NOT TO SMILEI" A mustached man with a cigar smirks and questions, "WHAT'RE YOU SMIRKING ABOUTI" The scene shifts to a massive explosion engulfing the sea near Gartel Island. Narration boxes state: "THE BARTO CLUB PIRATE SHIP WAS SUNK." and "ON THIS DAY, BY GARTEL ISLAND..." SFX read "ドォーン BOOM!!" Debris flies as the ship vanishes in smoke and fire. Below, Blackbeard Pirates react furiously. One yells, "KOBY WAS OUR ACE IN THE HOLE, AND YOU'RE TELLIN' ME HE GOT AWAYI!" Others declare: "YOU THINK THE GOVERNMENT AND NAVY ARE JUST GONNA STAND-BYI! WE AIN'T GONNA WIN UNLESS WE'RE READY!!" "WE EMPERORS ARE GONNA HAFTA TEAR EACH OTHER TO PIECES OVER THEM!!" "THE PONEGLYPHS AIN'T AN OBSCURE SECRET ANYMORE!!" "DIDN'TCHA HEARI! THE WORLD IS ON THE BRINK!!" Blackbeard himself looms large, gripping a massive weapon, while a small figure cowers, stammering, "IT AIN'T LIKE I JUST LET HIM SCURRY AWAY... JUST HEAR ME OUT, TEACH!" and "I'M SOWWY, SOWWY, TEACH!"

The Blackbeard Pirates continue their uproar on Hachinosu. A furious voice bellows, "COMMODORE!!" and "AND YOU LET MORIA ESCAPE, TOOI!" Another demands, "WHERE DOES THIS SHIP GOI" A massive, spiky-haired man carrying a tiny building mutters while moving left. The giant skull face of Pizarro reappears amid the town, its eyes wide. Blackbeard Pirates raise weapons and cheer wildly. Narration and shouts proclaim: "THE ONE WHO'S GONNA TAKE OVER THE WORLD!!" "...WHO'LL CLAIM THE ONE PIECE, BLACKBEARD!" "EVERYONE KNOWS YOU'RE THE MAN..." "WE'RE READY FOR ANYTHING!!" Swords, guns, and birds fill the chaotic scene as the crew rallies with fierce determination.

Inside a grand hall on Hachinosu, Kuzan stands silently with his back to the viewer. Blackbeard lounges on a throne, laughing "ZEHA HA HA!" while surrounded by crew. Voices ring out: "YOU KEEP FINDING A WAY TO TRADE UP, CAP'N, NYAH!" "NOW THAT'S WHAT I CALL A CONSOLATION PRIZE!" "WELL, WE CAUGHT GARP." "KOBY GOT AWAY... BUUUTI" "NOW, LEMME HEAR IT, KUZAN." "THAT'S SOMETHIN' WE GOTTA TAKE ADVANTAGE OF!!" "ZEHA HA HA! AT LEAST MORALE IS ON THE RISE!" Lower panels show frantic action: a woman gasps "HMPH!!" and "AHH!!" as pirates swarm. Blackbeard Pirates shout, "WE ALSO SMUGGLED THIS THREE-EYED GIRLY HERE!!" "LOOKS LIKE THE WINDS OF FORTUNE ARE FAVORING US!! WEEHA HA HA!" "HEY!! GET LAFITTE ON THE LINE!!" A chained, bandaged man speaks: "DON'T BE HARD ON YERSELF, KUZAN. THERE AIN'T MANY WHO CAN TAKE HIM DOWN, Y'KNOWI!" "WELL... IT WAS A TEAM EFFORT..." "BUT HE SURVIVED." "I WAS GOING FOR THE KILL..." "TO BE HONEST..."

At Navy "Unit Shipping" HQ, alarms blare as the city burns and revolutionaries attack from above. A voice demands, "WHAT ARE THOSE REVOLUTIONARIES UP TOI!" Another replies, "YES, COMMODORE TEACHI" CLICK. The scene shifts to Mary Geoise where supply lines are cut; a woman with an earring reports, "ALL SUPPLY SHIPMENTS FROM FOREIGN NATIONS HAVE BEEN HALTED, TOO." She continues, "...WHENEVER THE RED PORT'S GONDOLAS KEEP BREAKING DOWN... SEEMS LIKE THEIR SIEGE IS PROVING EFFECTIVE... EVEN WHEN THE NAVY MANAGES TO SECURE FOOD, THEY CAN'T STOP THE SABOTAGED GONDOLAS FROM CRASHING!!" In the lower panels, Blackbeard grins widely and growls, "HEHE... UNDERSTOOD!!" He snaps, "...GET READY!!" Nearby, a top-hatted man laughs, "ZEHA HA HA HA! THIS AIN'T THE TIME TO SIT BACK AND WATCH... THE CELESTIAL DRAGONS MAY REALLY START TO STARVE AT THIS RATE... IT'S ALL QUITE UNPRECEDENTED, REALLY! NOT TO MENTION ENGAGING!!"

A massive ship approaches a tropical Pirate Island as waves crash. "NYAAAH! IT'S DEVON!" Catarina Devon, in her massive skull-like form, looms over the water while Pizarro shouts from the deck, "PIZARRO, WE'VE ARRIVED!!" Devon complains, "YOU KN-EW I'M INJURED, RIGHTI!" and "DOCKING YOU GUYS IS ALWAYS SUCH A PAIN, NYAH!!" A crewmate yells, "PICK US UP." Devon crashes into the dock with a massive "GYAAAH!!" and "HII HAA!!" Blackbeard appears on the right, laughing. In the next scene he roars at Devon, "YOU BROUGHT THAT GUY, DIDN'TCHAI! QUIT JABBERIN'!" Devon screams in terror, "OH... HELL NAH!!! IT'S A MONSTER!!! DON'T TAKE ME!!!" while small voices cry, "BIG BRO!! BIG SIS!! SAVE ME!!" and "UH-HUH."

The Thousand Sunny sails through rough seas. Narration notes, "...SET OFF FROM EGGHEAD, HOWEVER" and "EVEN WITH THE SAILING SPEED OF THE GREAT EIRIK... IT'S BEEN TWO DAYS SINCE THE GIANT WARRIOR PIRATES..." The crew reacts in panic as the ship is pursued by a giant striped fish. "WHAT COULD HAVE CAUSED THIS...I" "DID WE ALL PASS OUT DRUNKI!" "WHAT'S GOING ONI!" "...THEY HAVE YET TO ARRIVE AT ELBAF." "I CAN'T SEE IT!!" "WHERE'S THE SUNNY GONEI!" Luffy yells from the water, "LUFFY!!! WHERE DID YOU GOI!" On deck, a large chained man shouts, "QUIT IT!! THE FISH HERE ARE SO MASSIVE, THAT JUST MIGHT BE TRUE!!" Nami suggests, "MAYBE THEY WERE SWALLOWED BY A FISH." Usopp adds, "WE'VE GOT TO FIND THEM! WE CAN'T HEAD TO ELBAF LIKE THIS!!"

A voice calls urgently from off-panel, "HEY!! WAKE UP!!" and "NAMI!!" Nami sits up groggily, clutching her head, "OOH.. I MUST'VE HAD TOO MUCH TO DRINK..." CLINK. Close-ups show her dazed eye and another crewmate's worried face saying, "UGH..." Suddenly alert in an unfamiliar grand hall, Nami gasps, "HUHI" She looks around the ornate, foreboding interior and asks, "WHERE IS THIS FOREBODING PLACEI" The page ends with the "ONE PIECE" logo and "CH.1126 / END."
