The Longed-For Amusement Park

Beneath the Ryugugu Palace, the connecting way stretches downward. A small fish-man in a bubble grips a trident and presses a bubbly coral formation, triggering a burst of expanding bubbles labeled "BUBBLY CORAL" and "PRESS". The coral releases a torrent of bubbles that carry the fish-man upward through dark water filled with more spheres and debris. SFX include ばぶっ, ぶっ!!, and プチー!! as the bubbles multiply and propel him forward.

Fish-men in ornate armor shout in panic: "THIS IS NO TIME FOR WHINING! WE DID AS HIS MAJESTY ORDERED!!" and "OH, WHAT A CATASTROPHE.....!!" A bearded fish-man in a top hat cries out about abandoning the king. Others yell "...AND RETURN TO THE PALACE WITH A FIGHTING FORCE!!!" and "WE NEED A MEANS OF COMMUNICATION!!" while a soldier reports "THE NEAREST TOWN IS GYOVALLEY HILLS!" A massive roar "わああああああ" echoes as the top-hatted fish-man commands "YOU WILL DO AS I SAY!!!! MUHHH!!!!" amid fleeing residents and a sign for "FISHMAN ISLAND'S ELITE RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT: GYOVALLEY HILLS".

The top-hatted fish-man roars "MUHHH!!! BE QUIET!!!! THIS COUNTRY BELONGS TO CAPTAIN HORDY NOW!!!!" while soldiers with spears and a flag bearing a circled "L" advance, shouting "STOP - STOP, EVERYONE!! NOW - WE ARE FROM THE FISHMAN DISTRICT, ARE YOU NOTI!" and "SO SHUT UP AND GET TRAMPLING!!!" A fish-man with a shark-like face declares "ANYONE WHO REFUSES TO TRAMPLE ON THE FACE IS A FRIEND OF HUMANS!!!" and "KYAKKYAH!!! THAT MAKES YOU OUR ENEMY!!!" Civilians plead "WHY ARE YOU DOING THISI!" and "I CAN'T! I COULD NEVER TRAMPLE ON THIS FACE...!!!!" as chaos spreads near signs for "NORTH-WESTERN FISHMAN ISLAND: SWEET FACTORY TOWN".

A fish-man pirate looms over a terrified citizen on the ground, blade in hand. "If you don't like either choice, I'm allowed to slice you up instead," he snarls. The citizen cries out, "NO WAY...!!" as the pirate continues, "OR YOU LEAVE THE ISLAND...!! SO HURRY IT UP... EITHER YOU TRAMPLE ON THE FACE, IT'S NOT HARD." The scene is set outside the Seafolk Cultural Hall on South-Western Fish-Man Island. In the Marine Shopping Mall on Western Fish-Man Island, more fish-men shout angrily at a human woman: "AND YOU CAN'T EXPECT US TO LIVE AMONGST THE HUMANS...!! THERE'S NOWHERE ELSE ON THE SEA FLOOR WHERE THE SUN SHINES... YOU'RE TELLING US TO LEAVE THE COUNTRYI!!" Hody Jones appears in close-up, eyes gleaming, declaring, "SO BOW DOWN TO YOUR NEW KING HORDY!! THE MAN WHO WILL CONQUER THE HUMANS AND CHANGE THE COURSE OF HISTORY!!! HUMANS AND FISHMEN CAN NEVER TRULY LIVE IN HARMONY!!! YOU SEE...I THAT JUST PROVES THAT HUMANS ARE BRUTISH AND VILE!!!" He inhales deeply as surrounding fish-men react with shock and fury.

A massive explosion rocks Waterwheel Town on Northern Fish-Man Island as someone yells, "OUT OF MY WAY!!!" and "DOSUHH HUUN!!!" Fukaboshi charges forward, shouting "FUKA-BOSHI-SAMA!!" while others cry "YOUR HIGHNESS!!!" A brutal strike lands with a huge impact sound "ズドォォン" as Fukaboshi is sent flying, blood spraying, with "HNGHH!!!" In the next panels, a close-up of a furious fish-man with sharp teeth growls, "...TO MAKING THE PEOPLE OF THIS COUNTRY TRAMPLE UPON IMAGES OF MY LATE MOTHER!!! TO THINK THAT YOU FIENDS WOULD STOOP..." Dosun appears, calling "DOSUN-SAN!!" as the attacker continues his assault. A voice questions, "WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS VILLAINY...I!!!" amid the chaos of "NGH HH..." and "UNG HH..."

On South-Eastern Fish-Man Island at Coral Hill, citizens panic: "...AND SHIRAHOSHI WAS KIDNAPPED BY THE STRAW HATS RIGHT BEFORE OUR EYES...!!! WE FAILED TO CAPTURE VANDER DECKEN..." Crowds shout, "WHAT'S HAPPENED TO THE PALACEI! WHAT'S GOING ON ON THIS ISLANDI!!! HEYYYY!!! WORD IS THAT THOSE FISHMAN DISTRICT THUGS ARE CAUSING TROUBLE IN TOWNS ALL ACROSS THE ISLAND!! IF THOSE PIRATES SELL THE PRINCESS TO THE TENRYUUBITO, WHY, I'LL...!! OBVIOUSLY THE PIRATES MADE HER SAY THAT!! THE PRINCESS DID SAY SHE'D BE BACK IN TIME FOR DINNER"..." A close-up shows a scheming fish-man calculating, "AN ORDINARY HUMAN-SIZE MERMAID GOES FOR 70,000,000... AND THAT MERMAID PRINCESS WAS ABOUT 7.8 TIMES THAT SIZE... IF I WERE TO CAPTURE AND SELL HER...!! MMMM MMMM MMMM!!! I'M GETTING TERRIFIED JUST THINKING ABOUT THAT KIND OF CASH!! KEHIHIHIHI HIHIHI!!! WELL, LOOK WHAT I JUST SAW!! In the Ocean Forest, Shirahoshi cries out desperately, "WAAA AAAAHH HHHHH!! FATHER!!" while fleeing. Jinbe speaks calmly to her: "THANK YOU... THANK YOU SO MUCH, BOSS JIMBEI-SAMA... BUT I SWEAR TO YOU, I WILL RESCUE HIS MAJESTY MYSELF!! INDEED. NOW, I MUST SPEAK WITH LUFFY-KUN AND HIS COMPANIONS FOR A SHORT WHILE. EHI...R... REALLY...I DO NOT WORRY, YOUR HIGHNESS. THOSE FIENDS ARE IN NO POSITION TO HARM HIS MAJESTY JUST YET!!" Shirahoshi blushes amid floating hearts as a small creature cheers "LLLL LLLL DIIIIIT IIIES!!" Later, at a tea table, Jinbe asks, "SO, JIMBEI-SAN... WHAT DO YOU MEAN WHEN YOU SAY THAT YOU..." while Nami interrupts, "THANKS. JUST LEAVE IT OVER THERE FOR ME, WOULD YOUI AND FOR THE RECORD, I'M TRYING TO HAVE A SERIOUS CONVERSATION......SO STOP RUINING THE MOOD. YOUR TEA. MMMM, I LOVE IT WHEN YOU GET ALL STERN!!...UNLEASHED ARLONG UPON EAST BLUE...I"

Sanji, Nami, and Luffy stand together as memories surface. Sanji recalls, "QUITE SOME TIME AGO... BACK WHEN LUFFY AND I FIRST HEARD THE NAME 'JIMBEI'." Nami adds, "I REMEMBER WHAT YOSAKU SAID BACK THEN..." A large fish-man with tattoos leans in, muttering "NYU UUUU... JIMBEI-SAN..." and "QUITE..." Sanji continues, "WHEN I SAW YOU AND JIMBEI TOGETHER IN THAT NEWSPAPER TWO YEARS AGO... I GOTTA ADMIT, I DIDN'T KNOW WHAT TO THINK. AFTER ALL, UP UNTIL THEN, I'D BEEN THINKING OF JIMBEI AS SOMETHING LIKE THE 'MAN BEHIND ARLONG'!" The fish-man growls, "I'VE HEARD THE SAME THING!!" and later declares, "OF COURSE, I'M SURE LUFFY'S FORGOTTEN ALL ABOUT IT. IN RETURN FOR HIS STATUS AS SHICHIBUKAI......THAT JIMBEI UNLEASHED A MONSTROUS TERROR UPON EAST BLUE!!" Nami looks distressed as the fish-man adds, "SHE'S SUFFERED MORE THAN ANYONE THANKS TO ARLONG'S REIGN OF TERROR...!!!" Sanji warns, "I'LL HAVE YOU KNOW THAT OUR LOVELY NAVIGATOR NAMI-SAN WAS A RESIDENT OF THE ISLAND ARLONG TOOK CONTROL OF. BUT YOU'D BETTER CHOOSE YOUR WORDS CAREFULLY...!!!" The fish-man replies, "SO, JIMBEI... I'M READY TO LISTEN TO YOUR EXCUSES..."

Sanji glares and declares, "I MAY NOT BE ABLE TO FORGIVE YOU!!!" He adds, "SO DEPENDING ON WHAT YOU SAY NEXT..." A small boy with a map grins and says, "I GUESS THAT MAKES THIS MAP OF THE WORLD, HUH...I THAT I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE!" Nami stares silently. The fish-man continues, "IT'S TRUE, JIMBEI-SAN... THE PAIN WE CAUSED TO THAT GIRL IS SOMETHING WE CAN NEVER ATONE FOR... AS LONG AS WE LIVE..." A flashback erupts: a man with a gun shouts, "DIE FOR YOUR WORTHLESS LOVE." Young Nami screams, "BELLEMERE-SAN!!! YOU CAN'T DIE!!!" while another voice yells, "FROM THIS DAY ONWARDS, THIS ISLAND BELONGS TO US!!! IT'S A PLEASURE TO MEET YOU ALL, FILTHY HUMANS!!!"

Chaos erupts in the village. Arlong's crew rampages as one shouts, "SO SHUT UP AND KEEP DRAWING THOSE MAPS!! WE AIN'T GOT NO FOOD FOR A FILTHY HUMAN BRAT LIKE YOU!!! GYHAHAHA!!!" Young Nami cries out, "BELLEMERE-SAAAAAAAAAN!!!!!!" while impact sounds "ビシ ビシ" and "レシ!!! ドゴッ!!!" ring out. Arlong's men yell, "LIKE I CARE!! SHOOT TO KILL!!! IT'S A BRAT!!! A THIEF!!! THAT RUFFIAN JUST STOLE OUR TREASURE!!! TAKE THE BRAT'S LIFE!!!" Sounds of struggle fill the air with "ドギャッ!!" and "ダラダラ" as young Nami is dragged away. Later, inside a building, young Nami sits drawing maps at a desk, labeled "SCRATCH SCRATCH" and "WRITE SCRATCH," while voices echo, "SHAHA HAHAH AHAH... WELCOME HOME... OUR CARTO-GRAPHER. NOT THAT YOU HAVE A CHOICE... OH, LOOK... YOU'RE BACK ALREADY... MILLION TO GO... SEVEN..." She trembles with "DRIP DRIP" and "TREMBLE."

Nami stands firm and states, "THAT'S RIGHT. NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS, I HAVE NO INTENTION OF FEELING ANY COMPASSION TOWARDS ARLONG. HOWEVER..." She continues, "DON'T TALK LIKE IT'S GOT NOTHING TO DO WITH YOU!!!" The fish-man replies, "THAT MUST HAVE BEEN VERY DIFFICULT FOR YOU." Nami reflects, "IT HIT ME AS SOON AS WE SET FOOT IN SHABONDY PARK. BUT WHEN WE WERE PURSUING THOSE SLAVE TRADERS WHO HAD CAPTURED CAIMIE... I SAW SOMETHING THAT MADE ME DOUBT MY OWN EYES. I HAD NO IDEA THAT A RACE AS POWERFUL AS THE FISHMEN HAD SUFFERED PERSECUTION AT THE HANDS OF HUMANS. UNTIL I ARRIVED AT THE SHABONDY ARCHIPELAGO TWO YEARS AGO..." Signs for "SABAODY PARK" and "ARLONG PARK" appear with the caption, "IT WAS THE SPITTING IMAGE......OF THE 'ARLONG PARK' THAT THEY HAD CONSTRUCTED ON OUR ISLAND!!"

Even Arlong felt the same longing, ever since he was a child, to be part of that world. Arlong-san hated humans bitterly, resented them above all... The king was granted a place on the Reverie World Council, and we took the first steps towards peace with humanity... Then, two hundred years ago, the Ryugu Kingdom became a part of the World Government... Up until two hundred years ago, fishmen and merfolk were officially considered types of 'fish'......stays with me even to this day...!!! The terror caused by the human pirates running rampant on this island......was the beginning of the Great Pirate Age...!!! The most horrible period that I can remember in my lifetime...

...This island is my territory!!! And so peace returned to our island. From now on......was none other than the late Whitebeard...!!! The man who freed our kind from that terror... One......He mounted a lone assault upon the holy land of Mariejoa, freeing the slaves held captive there...!!! He, for his part, resolved that fishmen and humans should go their separate ways. And so, breaking a great taboo......was Fisher Tiger, the hero of slaves. And the other individual......and formed a group known as the 'Sun Pirates'...!!! Following this great feat, he gathered the former fishman slaves... I've heard that name somewhere... Thingy Tiger...I

...were once members of that pirate crew...!!! Both I and Arlong, as well as Hachi......also had the unfortunate effect of sealing the fate of Queen Otohime, and her dream of harmony between races... However, the existence of this dangerous band of fishman pirates, who had to flagrantly defy the World Government... All I can say is this... I cannot say which of their ideals was the greater. Queen Otohime chose to endure the suffering of the present, in hope of building a better future... Whilst Fisher Tiger abandoned such hopes for the future, in favour of saving those who were suffering there and then... Enemy vessel sighted!

Fifteen years ago on the Grand Line, a pirate ship sails under stormy skies as crew members shout in panic. "BOSS!! BOSS!! BOSS!!!" "IT'S AN ENEMY SHIP!! NYUUU!!" "BOSS!!" The crew rushes to report. Inside the ship's dim interior, Fisher Tiger sits sternly in a large chair while his subordinates clamor around him. One yells, "BOSS TIGER!!! IT'S TERRIBLE!!!" Another snaps, "QUIT YOUR YAPPING, HACHI..." A voice retorts, "YOU ARE A NOISY ONE..." The crew continues their frantic warnings. A close-up reveals Fisher Tiger's intense glare as a caption box identifies him: "CAPTAIN Fisher Tiger (A SEABREAM FISHMAN) (SAVIOUR OF THE PIRATE EMPRESS HANCOCK)". He asks, "IS IT THE MARINESI"
