Adventure on the Island of Women

A vast fortress-like village clings to sheer cliffs, built with ornate multi-tiered buildings and watchtowers. Narration boxes state: "This village, indeed, the country itself is built like a fortress." "Those who venture out to sea sometimes return bearing children." "This is a country of women, 'Amazon Lily,' where men are forbidden." "In a tall mountain, surrounded by deep jungle," "And strangely, all the children born are female." "there is a large hole..." In the bustling streets below, Kuja women in revealing outfits and capes walk with large snakes. One woman with a snake draped over her shoulders says, "HOW ABOUT SOME FRESHLY PICKED JUNGLE FRUIT!I" A large woman carrying a sack labeled "HARUGU" shouts, "COME ON, WE'VE GOT SOME FRESH SEA KING MEAT TODAY!!" Women and children gather near a grand central building as daily life unfolds.

Women of Amazon Lily perform all manual labor. One fishes in a river, catching a large fish while another works nearby; narration notes "SOME SMALL FISH..." and "HAMPH..." A woman swings a massive hammer, striking metal with "KAKSSIN!!" as another says "GOOD WORK! LEAVE IT OVER THERE." Narration explains: "and all of the manual labor is performed by women." "Of course, all of the work are strong and hearty, but..." "Born and raised as warriors, these women" "they also have an air of elegance about them." A man in a chef's hat is shown with the note "A man driven to foolishness by greed has no place here." Kuja warriors with snakes stand confidently in the jungle setting.

An arena stage displays betting odds: "Kiki 5.1", "Pansy 1.1", "Poppy 2.6", "Shion 5". A large sign reads "ONE THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED ON PANSY!!" and "ONE THOUSAND GOL ON POPPY!!" with "TODAY'S ODDS!!". A fierce Kuja warrior with wild hair and tiger-striped outfit roars "YAAAH!!!" while delivering a powerful punch, sending another woman flying backward with "WAAAAAH!!!" and impact sounds "カァン!!". Narration boxes declare: "In this country," "If a man ever approached this country, he would simply disappear." "More than anything else, the women of this island are strong." "strength is beauty." A distant figure stands atop a bridge with a note about "KANJI BEHIND THE STAGE READS 'COMBAT'."

Inside a grand prison building marked with the sign '牢獄', curious Kuja women peer through the bars at the awakening prisoner. 'THE MAN IS WAKING UP!!' one shouts. 'I WANNA SEE, TOO!' another cries, while a third adds, 'LET ME SEE!' Luffy, shirtless and bound in ropes, stretches with a loud 'FUUAAAAAAAH...'. The women comment on his appearance: 'HIS HAIR IS UNKEMPT, AND HE'S SO THIN! HE LOOKS WEAK!', 'HE'S ALL SCRAGGLY, WHAT A WEIRD CREATURE.', and 'HE MOVED! LOOK, HE DOESN'T HAVE ANY BREASTS AT ALL!'. Luffy sits up groggily, mumbling '... MMM... MUNYA MUNYA...'. The women react in shock: 'WHAT DO 'MEN' EATI MEATI', 'BUT I HEARD THAT WHILE HE WAS ASLEEP, HE WAS STILL EATING, DID YOU KNOWI', 'HE WAS SLEEPING FOR A WHILE...', and 'AH!! HE TALKED!!' as one exclaims '... WHAT THE HELL, IT'S SO NOISY...'.

The Kuja women hush each other as Luffy stirs. 'EVERYONE! BE QUIET!! HE'S SAYING SOMETHING!' one warns. Luffy clutches his head in confusion: '... WHAT WAS I DOING...I', 'AH, THAT'S RIGHT... EVERYONE GOT SPLIT UP AT THE SHABONDY ARCHIPELAGO...', 'HM!I THERE IT IS!', 'MY HAT'S GONE!!!', and '... I CAN REMEMBER UP UNTIL I WAS EATING THAT MUSHROOM...'. He spots his straw hat outside the cell. 'HIS ARM STRETCHED!!' the women gasp as Luffy's arm extends dramatically with 'GASH!!' and 'ぴょーん!!' effects. He grabs the hat, declaring 'GIVE THAT BACK, BASTARD!!' before putting it on with satisfaction: 'AH, THAT'S BETTER.'

The women react with amazement at Luffy's stretchy arm: 'CAN STRETCH THEIR ARMS!! THAT'S SURPRISING!!', 'S... SO MEN', and 'WHAT KIND OF TRICK WAS THAT!I'. One woman notes 'MEMO MEMO... HOW FASCINATING.' while another writes 'MEMO MEMO...'. They question Luffy: 'MEN ARE DULL AND COVER THEIR HEADS BEFORE THE REST OF THEIR BODIES.', 'IT'S SO DRAFTY, DON'T YOU KNOW WHERE THE REST OF THEIR BODIES ARE!I', 'SO SLOW!', 'AH!! I'M NAKED!!', and 'WHAT'S YOUR NAMEI'. Luffy replies '...I I'M LUFFY!'. The women stare in shock at his lower body: 'WHAT DO YOU MEAN 'BALLS'I', 'BALLS...I', 'YOU GUYS ARE WEIRD... THESE ARE BALLS!!', 'BAG...I YOU GUYS... DON'T KNOW WHAT THIS ISI', 'UM, BEFORE YOU GET DRESSED... THAT!', 'ISN'T IT OBVIOUSI THEY'RE BALLS MADE OF GOLD*', and 'WHAT'S IN THAT BAG THING HANGING BETWEEN YOUR LEGSI'.

The Kuja women erupt in shock at the sight: 'GOLDEN BALLS!!!I' and 'GORGEOUS!!!'. Luffy, now dressed in a frilly outfit, apologizes: 'OHH- SORRY ABOUT THAT.' Marguerite explains 'SO I MADE THESE THE SAME SHAPE.' and 'YOURS WERE ALL TORN UP, THEN I MADE THESE CLOTHES...'. Luffy thanks her: 'I DON'T REALLY KNOW WHO YOU ARE, BUT THANKS!'. The women protest 'NO, I CAN'T!!! ARE YOU TRYING TO KILL ME!!I', 'COULD YOU TAKE THEM OUT AND SHOW US!I', and 'THEN TAKE THESE CLOTHES...'. Marguerite adds 'OH YES, IF YOU'RE GOING OUT, THEN IT'S GOT TO HAVE FRILLS! NICE, MARGARET.' as Luffy stands proudly in the new outfit. 'HE'S SO HAPPY HE'S SHAKING.' one woman observes, while Luffy exclaims 'YOU...!!!' in surprise.

Luffy bursts through the ornate palace doors in a cloud of debris, shouting at the top of his lungs, "I'M A MAN!!!" The impact sends shockwaves and startled Kuja warriors reeling. Smaller panels show Luffy's shocked face and fleeing figures amid chaotic motion lines. In the grand hall below, a tall Kuja warrior with a massive snake-staff weapon points accusingly and declares, "HOW DARE YOU SPEAK LIKE THAT, WITHOUT EVEN THINKING ABOUT YOUR DEBT TO US FOR SAVING YOUR LIFE!" Another warrior cries, "HOW ATROCIOUS!! SO THAT'S YOUR TRUE FACE!!!" while others yell "ATTACK FORMATION!!!" and "WHAT!II" A background voice adds, "WHAT A SAVAGE CREATURE!!" The warriors draw weapons and form ranks as Luffy stands defiantly before the grand doors.

A Kuja warrior with a topknot glares and states, "BUT KIKYOU*, KILLING HIM JUST FOR THAT, I PITY HIM...!" while another retorts, "IT'S CLEAR THAT YOUR KIND CANNOT COEXIST WITH US...!!! THE ENTIRE TIME WE'VE BEEN SPEAKING WITH YOU, YOU HAVEN'T SHOWN EVEN A SHRED OF REFINEMENT!!" Luffy, peering from behind a pillar with two Kuja women nearby, exclaims in shock, "HOLD ON, YOU SAID YOU SAVED MY LIFEI WHAT HAPPENED!I PLEASE TELL ME!" The stern warrior continues, "YOU ATE A MUSHROOM THAT WOULD HAVE KILLED YOU. THESE GIRLS FOUND YOU COLLAPSED ON THE GROUND AND SAVED YOU!!" He then roars, "FOR HUNDREDS OF YEARS, OUR ABSOLUTE LAW HAS BEEN TO FORBID MEN FROM ENTERING!!! THIS LAW HAS NEVER BEEN BROKEN!!!" Luffy sweats nervously, muttering, "A COUNTRY OF WOMEN...I" as a warrior outside calls, "OH, SO THAT'S WHAT HAPPENED!! THANKS, YOU GUYS!!" Luffy adds, "I'M SORRY FOR COMPLAINING ABOUT THE CLOTHES!! SO DON'T SHOOT!!"

Luffy stares out the window at the towering structures and women below, thinking, "IT'S TRUE... NOW THAT I TAKE A GOOD LOOK, THEY'RE ALL WOMEN... WHAT A WEIRD COUNTRY!" Three Kuja warriors—Aphelandra, Sweet Pea, and Margaret—stand with determined expressions as one says, "THIS IS FOR YOUR SAKES...!!" The topknot warrior warns, "IF 'LADY HEBIHIME' RETURNS... SHE WOULD FIND THIS MAN, YOU THREE, WHO BROUGHT THIS 'MAN' TO THE VILLAGE, WOULD ALSO BE STAINED WITH SIN!! NO, THIS ENTIRE SITUATION TO BE UNACCEPTABLE!!! IT WOULD BE BETTER IF WE COVERED THIS INCIDENT UP!!" Luffy sweats in the foreground, realizing the gravity of the situation.

Luffy struggles against the warriors holding him, yelling, "WAIT!! JUST LET ME GO!!" as one warrior commands, "FIRE!!!" Arrows fly with SFX "ビュビュビュッ!!" and "ばっっ!!" Luffy breaks free, shouting, "I HAVE TO GET THERE!!! I PROMISED TO MEET UP WITH MY CREW." He smashes through a window with a massive impact "ブォンッ!!" and leaps across rooftops. Below, warriors react in alarm as he crashes through the roof with explosive SFX "ドゴォン!!" "レキシ!!" "ボコォン!!" and "ビキィ!!" One warrior cries, "HE'S BROKEN THROUGH THE ROOF!!!" while Luffy yells, "ORYAA-AAH!!!" amid flying debris and shattered tiles.

Explosions rock the stone stairs as Kuja warriors pursue a fleeing figure. "DON'T LET HIM ESCAPE!!!" one shouts while Luffy tumbles forward yelling "UWAH!!!". Aphelandra appears among the attackers, declaring "HE'S QUICKER THAN HE LOOKS!!" as more warriors close in with cries of "HYAA!" and "RIGHT!!". In a sudden reversal, a long-haired Kuja woman lunges forward, catching Luffy mid-fall. "SORRY FOR SAVING YOU EARLIER!!!" she calls out as he crashes into her with a loud "BUHO!!!" amid swirling dust and motion lines.

Luffy realizes "AH! THAT'S RIGHT, THE VIVRE CARD IS STILL IN MY OTHER PANTS!" as he is struck and sent flying with a "BASH!". A Kuja warrior cries "HE'S DOWN!!" while another shouts "TAAH!!!". Margaret is seized mid-air, prompting a desperate "KYAA!!" from her. Below, a warrior spots the struggle and yells "THERE SHE IS!!". On the ground, another Kuja exclaims "DAMN!!! MARGARET GOT ABDUCTED!!!" as Luffy reaches out, pleading "LET ME GO!! HELP ME!!!" and a woman replies "SORRY, I NEED TO ASK YOU SOMETHING REAL QUICK!!".

High above the cliffs, Luffy stretches with "GOMU GOMU-" and inflates into a massive balloon while shouting "BALLOON!!" as he plummets. A Kuja woman on the ground screams "KYAA!!" and warns "DON'T COME ANY CLOSER!!" upon seeing him land. Luffy, now standing, asks "HEY! YOU OKAY!I" while the woman stares in shock and blurts "DID YOU... JUST GET FATTER!I" as small sound effects and motion lines mark the impact.

The Kuja woman reflects, "...I WAS READY TO FACE MY DEATH...! IT'S A MIRACLE THAT I'M ALIVE...!...FALLING FROM THAT HEIGHT... THERE'S SOMETHING STRANGE ABOUT YOU!!" while Luffy replies "UH, I DON'T HAVE A VIRUS OR ANYTHING. I DON'T REALLY WANNA EXPLAIN, SO I'M SURE, ALL MEN CAN GET FAT LIKE THAT." She continues, "I'VE HEARD THAT YOU 'MEN' CARRY A VIRUS!!...CAN ALL MEN... SUDDENLY EXPAND LIKE THAT!I" Luffy then pulls out a small card, exclaiming "IF I DIDN'T HAVE THIS... THEN I DON'T KNOW WHAT I WOULD DO!! THANKS FOR HOLDING ON TO IT!! IT LOOKED LIKE IT HAD SOMETHING WRITTEN ON IT..." as he reads the Vivre Card with relief: "AHHH!! YEAH, THIS IS IT!! THIS IS IT!! THANK GOD!!"

Luffy and the Kuja warrior sit together as she examines a small piece of paper. She notes, "But they all have a paper like this, so we should be able to meet up again." Luffy grins widely and replies, "A lot of stuff has happened! My nakama all got split up and were sent flying through the sky. They're all strong, after all." The woman holds the paper up, saying "How strange...!!! It looks like it's moving...!!! Check it out," as it makes a "Zuri... Zuri..." sound. Luffy laughs and offers, "Is there anything I can do for you!!I But I really need to thank you for all you've done." She refuses firmly, "I told you I can't do that!!! Then can you take out your balls and show them to meI" Luffy looks surprised in the jungle setting and asks, "Is that so... Then is it an all-female crewI Are they strongI" The woman explains, "...You're a pirateI Our empress is a pirate, too. Warriors are chosen from throughout the kingdom to serve on her pirate ship... Of course they're strong!! What a foolish question." Luffy declares, "Ah, I'm a pirate!!" She wonders, "What kind of nakama are they...I Do you know what pirates areI"

The Kuja warrior continues speaking with a confident smile: "The pirate 'Empress,' Boa Hancock... Along with her two sisters, have fiercely guarded our island. Everybody in the country loves Lady Hebi-hime. She's strong, elegant, and the most beautiful woman in the world!!!" In the distance, Lady Hebi-hime's ship approaches the island as a warrior shouts, "Lady Hebi-hime's ship is already drawing close!! This is bad!!" Another warns, "Warriors! Into the jungle!! Take care of the man and rescue Margaret!!" A panicked voice cries, "Lady Hebi-hime is returning!!!" Kikyo states, "Kikyo, it definitely looks like that man descended into the jungle! This is terrible...!!! We need to take care of this 'man' incident quickly!!" Boa Hancock stands prominently with a stern expression, her long hair flowing, as the warriors react in alarm near the palace structures.
