SECRET CRIMINAL ORGANIZATION

The same moonlit scene appears in full color. Luffy remains bent over the massive snake's body, now vividly orange and black. Zoro stands with hands in pockets. Nami smiles at the viewer while resting her large pistol on her leg. Usopp watches from the side. The ruins and distant figures are brightly lit against the night sky.

The giant snake rears up, mouth wide, exclaiming "MA MA MAA~♪" and "B... BIRRION-COUGH". In the next panels, Zoro sweats with a skeptical look as Nami stands beside him, hand on hip, saying "MA MA MAA~♪" and "YEAH, YEAH. I WAS ONLY PRETENDING TO BE DRUNK. I COULDN'T DRINK A LOT MORE IF I WANTED TO." Background figures lie passed out with "SNORE" and "MA MA MAA~♪" sounds. The snake continues its cry. Nami then leans forward with a wide grin, declaring "YOUR PRECIOUS PRINCESS MIGHT DIE, YOU KNOWI" while a large "どーん" sound effect emphasizes the line. She adds, "SO... HOW ABOUT ITI CAN YOU GUARANTEE US A REWARD OF 1 BILLION BELI, MR. HEAD-OF-THE-ROYAL-GUARDI NEED I REMIND YOU THAT WITHOUT OUR HELP..."

Nami sits casually on the snake's coils, smiling as she asks, "ARE YOU SAYING THAT THE PRINCESS OF YOUR KINGDOM IS WORTH LESS THAN A BILLION BELII" An unseen speaker replies nervously, "OHI I... I'M AFRAID I CAN'T GUARANTEE SUCH AN ASTRONOMICAL SUM SINCE I'M MERELY A SINGLE SOLDIER...!" The snake looms with mouth open, offering "YOU CAN DIRECTLY NEGOTIATE WITH HER YOURSELF, AND RECEIVE THAT MUCH MONEY...!" Nami responds with a sly grin, "COUGH... IN THAT CASE, I'M SURE AS LONG AS YOU RETURN THE PRINCESS SAFELY BACK TO OUR LANDS, TALK ABOUT AN EXTORTION. PAY UP." The soldier sweats, saying "FINE, FINE. WE'LL SAVE YOUR LITTLE PRINCESS FIRST. THERE'S NO TIME FOR NEGOTIATING! EVEN NOW, AS WE SPEAK, THE PRINCESS' LIFE IS IN DANGER!" Nami smiles knowingly, "SO BASICALLY, YOU'RE TELLING US TO SAVE HER FIRST..."

Nami glares furiously at Zoro, shouting, "WHY DO I HAVE TO HELP YOU WITH YOUR DIRTY MONEY-MAKING SCHEMES!I" Zoro snaps back with equal fury, "WHY SHOULD I GO!I" and then yells, "ALRIGHT THEN! GO, ZORO!" while a small chibi Zoro panics in the background with "ヤーン!!" and impact effects. Nami continues, "WELL, I HATE BEING USED BY OTHERS!" and "I'M NOT A TOOL LIKE THAT IDIOT COOK!" Luffy stands nearby looking bored. Nami points accusingly at Zoro, declaring, "WHAT KIND OF RETARDED UNFAIR LOGIC IS THAT!I HOW OLD ARE YOU!I" and "MY MONEY MAY BE MINE ALONE BUT A CONTRACT I MAKE IS A CONTRACT FOR OUR WHOLE CREW!" Zoro retorts, "OH, DON'T BE SO STUPID, YOU." In the next panel Nami yells, "OH YOU DID NOT JUST SAY THAT AGAIN!" while Luffy walks away muttering, "GOTTA PEE." Nami finishes with, "OH, I GET IT. YOU'RE ONLY SAYING THAT BECAUSE YOU DON'T THINK YOU CAN WIN, RIGHTI"

Nami reminds Zoro, "BACK AT LOGUETOWN, I LENT YOU 100,000 BELI SO YOU COULD BUY YOUR SWORDS." Zoro replies, "HUHI NO I DON'T." Nami presses on, "AREN'T YOU FORGETTING SOMETHINGI YOU KNOW YOU STILL OWE ME MONEY, RIGHTI" Zoro answers, "YEAH AND I PAID YOU BACK RIGHT AWAY! I GOT MY SWORDS FOR FREE SO I DIDN'T USE ANY OF YOUR MONEY." Nami insists, "NO. BUT YOU GOT YOUR MONEY BACK AWAY SO ISN'T IT FINEI" Zoro counters, "SURE. I'LL LEND YOU SOME MONEY AT 300% INTEREST, THOUGH." Nami demands, "SO YOU STILL OWE ME 200,000 BELI!" and "YES, BUT I LENT YOU THAT MONEY ON 300% INTEREST!" Zoro growls, "NOW IF YOU DO AS I SAY, WE'LL CALL IT EVEN, OKAYI" Nami's face darkens as she asks, "THAT YOU CAN'T EVEN KEEP A SINGLE PROMISEI ARE YOU SAYING,"

Nami stands on a rooftop overlooking the town, thinking, "CURSE MY USELESSNESS!" In another panel she smiles faintly while Zoro shouts in the distance, "TRUE, I'LL PROBABLY GO TO HELL WHEN I DIE. DAMN YOU! YOU'RE NOT GOING TO HAVE A PEACEFUL DEATH, Y'HEAR!" Nami reflects, "THAT GUY JUST NOW IS MONSTROUSLY STRONG. DON'T WORRY. I COULD PROTECT THE PRINCESS...!" Zoro is shown tied up and struggling on the ground. Nami's expression turns serious as she thinks, "IF I WERE ONLY STRONGER... THEN IT WOULD BE THE END OF OUR KINGDOM...! SHE MUST SURVIVE NO MATTER WHAT!" and "IF ANYTHING WERE TO HAPPEN TO THE PRINCESS..."

An explosion rocks the town with "ドゴォオ...ン!" and impact sounds. Carue the duck yells, "THERE'S A DOCKED SHIP BEHIND CACTUS ROCK THAT WE CAN ESCAPE ON!" while quacking "QUACK!" Nami, now wearing a fur coat, spots something and shouts, "FASTER, CARUE! I'VE FOUND HER!" A cloaked figure watches from above and remarks, "SUCH A FUTILE STRUGGLE." On a wooden structure, a man laughs wildly, "KYAHA HAHA!" as another figure trips with the sound effect "TRIP".

A desperate voice cries out, "MS. MONDAY!" In the narrow street, a powerful kick sends a small figure tumbling through the air with a loud impact. Miss Monday, the tall muscular woman in a black-and-white checkered outfit, stands firm and shouts, "GET PAST HERE AND YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO ESCAPE ON THE BOAT. GO ON!" She plants herself between the escaping group and the approaching enemies, sweat flying as she declares, "AS FOR THESE GUYS, I'LL DO MY BEST TO STOP THEM." A smaller ally hesitates mid-leap, replying "BUT..." while distant figures watch from the far end of the street. Miss Monday braces for the fight alone.

Miss Monday swings her massive weapon while yelling, "I'D RATHER GO DOWN WHILE PROTECTING A FRIEND...!" The opponent retorts, "BECAUSE OF THAT SUPERHUMAN SWORDSMAN, WE'D ALL BE PUNISHED FOR FAILING IN OUR MISSION ANYWAYS. SO IF THAT'S THE CASE..." In a flash, Zoro appears, slashing through the air as Miss Monday is struck, gasping "THANK YOU!" He growls "NOW GO!" Nearby, Nami watches with wide eyes. Elsewhere, Mr. 9 taunts while gripping an arm, "FIRST MR. 9 AND NOW YOU TOO, MS. MONDAYI" A masked woman laughs "WHAT A JOKE. KYA HAHA" as rolls of tape fly. Miss Monday is slammed down with a heavy "GWOOSH!!" impact, bloodied and glaring as she begins, "THE NAME OF... YOU DISGRACE..."

A massive explosive impact erupts as Miss Monday is hurled backward in a whirlwind of debris and motion lines. The attacker yells "BAROQUE WORKS!" while delivering the crushing blow. In the next instant, Miss Monday crashes violently into the ground, her checkered outfit torn and body limp amid swirling dust and impact effects. The Baroque Works agent stands over the fallen fighter, the street torn up from the force of the strike.

Mr. 5 stands amid swirling smoke and declares, "I'M A HUMAN BOMB THAT CAN MAKE ANY PART OF MY BODY EXPLODE." A fuse-like "FZZZ..." sound accompanies his raised hand. Nami recoils in shock, "GUH...!" Close-up, Mr. 5 continues with cold confidence, "THERE'S NOT A SINGLE MISSION I'VE FAILED AT! WITH THIS ABILITY BESTOWED ME BY THE BOMB BOMB FRUIT..." He points at his nose, shouting "NOSE FANCY... CANNON!" A powerful blast erupts from his nostril with a sharp "GYAKIN!!" effect, sending a figure flying as he warns, "YOU CAN'T RUN AWAY FROM US."

A swordsman’s blade clashes violently in midair with a massive impact, sending shockwaves and debris flying as the opponent is hurled backward. The figure crashes hard onto the dusty ground with a loud "LAND" sound effect amid swirling clouds of dust. Nearby, a spiky-haired man in sunglasses stares in surprise and asks, "WHO'S HEI" while an explosion erupts in the background. A long-haired woman with a sweat drop on her face reacts with alarm, shouting "MR. BUSHIDO!" as the chaos unfolds around the fallen figures.

Zoro stands triumphantly over a defeated opponent, gripping his swords and yelling, "I CAN'T BELIEVE I HAD TO CUT A FREAKIN' BOOGER!" as the woman watches with a tense expression. In quick succession, small panels show the defeated figure flailing with "AHH!" and "X" impact marks while the woman is struck, exclaiming "WHY DO YOU HAVE TO COME AND BLOCK MY WAY NOW OF ALL TIMES!I" She then gasps "WHA..." and pleads "SAVE MEI" A close-up reveals a stern man with a scar glaring as he declares, "CALM DOWN, I'VE COME TO SAVE YOU."

In a quiet town square, a cloaked figure lies motionless on the ground as Nami stands nearby. Speech bubbles explain: "IS BAROQUE WORKSI" and "SO WHAT EXACTLY..." The cloaked figure rises and details the organization: "UNDER THE BOSS' ORDERS, WE CARRY OUT TASKS RANGING FROM INTELLIGENCE GATHERING, ASSASSINATION, ROBBERY, AND BOUNTY HUNTING." It continues, "IT'S A SECRET CRIMINAL ORGANIZATION IN WHICH NOT A SINGLE MEMBER KNOWS THE NAME NOR THE REAL IDENTITY OF OUR BOSS." Nami listens intently as the figure concludes, "IS THE CREATION OF AN IDEAL NATION." and "THE FINAL OBJECTIVE OF BAROQUE WORKS," while asking "WHY DO THE MEMBERS OF BAROQUE WORKS BOTHER TO LISTEN TO THIS BOSS,"

The cloaked figure continues explaining while seated on a barrel: "SHALL BE GRANTED HIGH-RANKING POSITIONS IN THIS IDEAL NATION BY THE BOSS. THOSE WHO BRING SUCCESS TO OUR ORGANIZATION, THE HIGHER THEIR STATUS WILL BE IN THIS IDEAL NATION... BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY, THE STRONGER THEY WILL BE AS WELL...!" Nami responds thoughtfully, "I SEE..." The figure adds, "THE BOSS GOES BY THE CODENAME, 'MR. 0'... THE LOWER AN OFFICER AGENT'S NUMBER IS," and notes "ESPECIALLY FOR AGENTS WITH THE NUMBER 5 OR LESS, THEIR STRENGTH IS... ABNORMAL." Suddenly Luffy bursts in with a massive "WHAAAAAAT!I" reaction alongside another character, while a small duck-like figure walks in the background saying "TIME TO GO BACK TO SLEEP. AHH, THAT FEELS BETTER."

In a ruined town square, a tall figure in a long black coat marked with a large white 5 stands with arms crossed, his back to the viewer. A woman with a scythe and wide-brimmed hat addresses him from the right: "OH, YOU'RE THE SWORDSMAN WHO DEFEATED ALL THE LOW-RANKING AGENTS IN THIS TOWN, AREN'T YOUI" In the background, a swordsman grips his blade while facing two other figures. The tall man replies, "I HAVE MY OWN CIRCUMSTANCES." Another panel shows the man now facing forward in a dark suit, also marked with 5, as a masked figure with an umbrella laughs, "KYAHAHA! THAT'S RIGHT. SINCE YOU'RE IN OUR WAY..." The suited man answers dismissively, "YOU'RE IN MY WAY IN ANY CASE. WHATEVER." The final panel explodes with impact lines as a blonde woman with large hoop earrings lunges forward, hand extended, shouting with a fierce grin, "ALLOW ME TO BURY YOUR FACE UNDER THE GROUND WITH MY ABILITY."

Inside a collapsing building, a woman with a scythe smashes through debris while a figure in the distance asks, "WHAT IS IT THIS TIMEI" A voice yells "ZORO-OOO-OOO!" Sanji appears in the next panel, smirking as he questions, "OR DO YOU OWE THAT WOMAN SOMETHING AS WELLI WHAT IS ITI IF IT'S ABOUT HELP, THEN I DON'T NEED IT."
