Nearby, Beasts Pirates react in panic: "WITH THIS, THE FINAL NAIL HAS BEEN DRIVEN INTO THE COFFIN OF OUR SYNTHETIC DEVIL FRUIT, SMILE, TRADE." A few days later, Big Mom's massive pirate ship sails through the sea, its towering figurehead grinning as musical notes drift from the deck. IT'S BECAUSE THEY'RE PICKING UP THE WARNING FREQUENCIES-BON!" a cloaked figure explains. "THE DEN DEN MUSHIS HAVE BEEN RINGING OFF THE HOOK..." Sanji licks his finger, murmuring "WOW, SO SWEET..." A large man in a top hat gestures toward the ship. "OUR BIG MOM PIRATE CREW-MILLE FEUILLE! IF THIS WASN'T BIG MOM'S SHIP, IT WOULD HAVE BEEN SHOT DOWN-BON!" A small branch labeled "#28 TARTE" floats nearby as the vessel continues onward.

Sanji stands with arms crossed, cigarette in mouth. "HE AND I NO LONGER HAVE ANY RELATION. I CUT MY TIES WITH HIM LONG AGO." The mustached man in a top hat leans in aggressively. "THAT IS WHAT YOUR FATHER WISHES OF YOU-AMOUR! ALONG WITH THE REST OF THE GERMA 66. STOP PLAYING HARD TO GET AND JOIN OUR BIG MOM PIRATE CREW..." Sanji turns away sharply. "DON'T PLAY THE PROUD FOOL, MAMA IS IN A MORE WELCOMING MOOD THAN YOU THINK. I'M JUST HERE TO TALK." The man continues, "AND THAT YOU WERE ONCE A CHEF ON THAT FLOATING RESTAURANT IN EAST BLUE. OF COURSE, SHE KNOWS THAT YOU'RE PART OF THE STRAW HAT CREW-SIL VOUS PLAIT, SHE THINKS VERY HIGHLY OF YOU-BON!" Sanji's expression hardens as the conversation grows tense.

The top-hatted man reacts with shock. "AH... THAT INCIDENT WITH PEKOMS. THAT SAW FIT TO KILL THEIR OWN CREW MEMBER. MISTAKE OR NOT, THERE'S NOT A SINGLE DISH I'D SERVE TO A GROUP OF PEOPLE..." Sanji looks down, recalling, "BEGE WAS RIGHT TO DO WHAT HE DID. HE LET HIS PERSONAL FEELINGS GET IN THE WAY OF HIS ASSIGNMENT." The top-hatted man laughs, "MUHAHA! HOW FOOL-ISH! I BET THOSE GUYS ARE MISSING MY COOKING RIGHT ABOUT NOW... I'VE TRAINED LIKE A MAD-MAN AND GONE THROUGH HELL AND BACK FOR THAT REASON ALONE!!! WEEPING UNCONTROLLABLY BECAUSE THEY DON'T HAVE A CHANCE TO TASTE IT."

The top-hatted man, identified as BARON TAMAGO, and a long-nosed man named VITO react with surprise. "I GUESS HE SHOULD GET HIS HEART READY, OR, RATHER... A PICTURE OF LADY PUDDING HAS ARRIVED FROM WHOLE CAKE ISLAND!" they exclaim. Sanji stares at the image. "THE 35TH DAUGHTER OF THE CHARLOTTE FAMILY, THIS IS YOUR BRIDE-TO-BE..." The men discuss, "MARRYING SOMEONE AFTER A FEW DAYS OF GETTING TO KNOW THEM IS PRETTY MUCH THE SAME DAMN THING! WHO THE HELL EVEN SAID I'D MARRY HER ANYWAYI MARRYING SOMEONE JUST AFTER MEETING THEM... IS INDEED A CRUEL FATE, SO, CONSIDER THIS A COURTESY..."
