A TIME FOR WARRIORS

A woman with long braided hair and a facial mark smiles and asks, "WHAT DO YOU THINK IT ISI" Franky, the massive cyborg, stares upward with arms raised and shouts, "WHAT THE HELL IS THATI!" A narration box states, "THE ADAM TREE TOUR CONTINUES!" The scene reveals a colossal ruined structure overgrown with vegetation and ancient buildings. Franky exclaims, "HA HA! I FIGURED YOU, OF ALL PEOPLE, WOULD APPRECIATE IT... BEING A CYBORG AND ALL." Another voice notes, "THIS HAS ALWAYS BEEN HERE... IT'S GIVING ME SCIENTIFIC VIBES!!" A cloaked figure stands before the massive entrance as someone asks, "WHY WOULD THERE BE A FACILITY LIKE THIS IN A COUNTRY OF WARRIORSI!"

A young girl with pigtails cheers, "IT'S AWESOME HERE, FRANKY!!" while raising her arms. The woman in the PUNK 02 jacket waves and says, "I WAS JUST THINKING I'D LIKE TO SHOW YOU THIS PLACE LATER!" Franky yells, "HEY, FRANKY!! YOU'RE HERE!!" The braided-hair woman smiles and explains, "IT'S GOOD WE FOUND YOU. THERE WAS A HORN BLAST EARLIER, SO THE WOODS MIGHT NOT BE SAFE RIGHT NOW." A small cloaked figure adds, "THANKS FOR FINDING US!" and "WE GOT LOST!" The horned warrior shouts, "WHAT'RE YOU TWO DOIN' HEREI LILITH! BONNEYI!" Someone mutters, "GUESS EVEN GENIUSES GET LOST..." The braided-hair woman replies, "WE CAN'T REALLY REFUTE THAT CLAIM. HONESTLY, EVEN WE LOCALS AREN'T SURE ABOUT THE ORIGINS OF THIS BUILDING." Lilith estimates, "I ESTIMATE THAT IT'S BEEN HERE FOR AT LEAST 3000 YEARS! IN ANY CASE, THIS FACILITY REALLY IS STUNNING!" The horned warrior reacts, "WHATI! HOW DO YOU CALCULATE THATI! THERE'S NO WAY IT'S THAT OLD!!"

A woman screams in terror, "GYAAHH!!" with Japanese SFX "あ あ あ". The horned warrior declares, "WELL, I'M GONNA CHECK IT OUT FOR MYSELF!" while another figure says, "I THINK I'LL MAKE MYSELF AT HOME HERE! NOW THAT'S SOMETHING WORTH RESEARCHING!" and warns, "YOU'LL GET LOST AGAIN!" A small figure questions, "WHAT'S WRONG, BONNEYI!" Suddenly a massive monstrous face with jagged teeth emerges from the foliage, roaring with SFX "ドドド" and "ビリビリ". Someone yells, "THERE'S SOMETHING BEHIND YOU!!" and "LOOK OUT!!" The braided-hair woman cries, "WHAT KIND OF CREATURE IS THATI!" The horned warrior shouts, "NO! THAT'S NOT FAMILIAR!" and "WHAT I FIND MOST SCARY THUNDER". Lilith exclaims, "ELBAF'S JUST FULL OF CRAZY STUFF, HUH..." while Franky adds, "AH, MAN... THIS IS UNREAL!"

In the Western Village of Elbaf, panic erupts as a towering skeletal draugr brandishes a massive sword amid burning debris and fleeing villagers. "THAT FIRE-SVALR WAS WRECKED!" someone shouts. "IT'S NOT JUST A REGULAR ZOMBIE! IT'S A DRAUGR!!" another cries while a voice warns, "SOBER UP AND GRAB YOUR WEAPONS!!" and notes, "WHAT I FIND MOST SCARY DRAUGR". Below, drunken giants stagger and argue: "THEY DRANK TOO MUCH... THEY'RE STILL HOLED UP IN THE PRIVY!!" "WHERE ARE THE CHIEFS! WE'RE WAITING ON THEIR ORDERS!" "YOU'RE KIDDING!!" and "WHAT COULD'VE BROUGHT THE CHILDREN'S IMAGINATION TO LIFE LIKE THISI!" Colon, the determined child in a skull helmet, faces off against worried adults including a curly-haired woman and an older man with goggles. "EITHER WAY, THERE'S DEFINITELY SOMETHING STRANGE HAPPENING ON THIS ISLAND!" Colon insists. "YOU SAID THAT LAST BIT A LITTLE TOO QUIETLY!!" the woman retorts. "WE WANT TO HELP FIGHT!!" Colon declares. An adult snaps, "HEY, YOU DON'T NEED TO KEEP US AT ARM'S LENGTH!!" while another suggests, "YOU VISITORS SHOULD FALL BACK TO THE EDGE OF THE VILLAGE!" Colon yells, "THAT'S ENOUGH, COLON!!" as a giant offers, "SHOULD I CARRY YOU ALL THEREI!" The final panel shows a shocked giant exclaiming, "THIS COULDN'T BE MORE SURREAL!! A GIANT MEI!"

A young warrior in a horned helmet clashes with an older giant, shouting, "I'M GYABAN'S SON!!" and "I JUST TOLD YOU NO!!" while declaring, "WHY NOTI! I'M A WARRIOR TOO! AND BOTH OF THEM WERE SERIOUSLY STRONG." A final panel shows distant figures as someone concludes, "YOU'RE SAYING ONE OF THESE INTRUDERS LOOKED JUST LIKE RED HAIR!" and "IF IT'S AN UNKNOWN ELEMENT, ODDS ARE IT'S A DEVIL FRUIT USER."

In the next spread, giants debate: "THEY MUST'VE PLANNED SOMETHING ELSE FOR ELBAF!!" "IF THEY'RE TAKING HOSTAGES, OR WHERE THEY'RE HIDING, BUT ANYONE WHO KIDNAPS CHILDREN IN BROAD DAYLIGHT IS NOTHING BUT SCUM!!" "I WON'T LET THEM GET AWAY WITH IT!!" "I'VE NEVER HEARD OF A KIDNAPPING LIKE THIS BEFORE!!" and "I DON'T KNOW WHO'S BEHIND THIS..." Below, more giants struggle near a privy, yelling, "STILL STUCK IN THE PRIVY!!" "WHERE ARE DORRY AND BROGYI!" "THEY SERIOUSLY NEED TO LAY OFF THE BOOZE!!" "HEY, JUST WAIT A SEC!" "YOU SHOULD GO HIDE SOMEWHERE SAFE!!" "DON'T BE RIDICULOUS! "...WE'D BE BETTER SUITED TO DEALING WITH THIS!!" and "IF THE CULPRITS ARE HUMAN-SIZED..." A girl reacts with "HMI" Nearby, a small girl blushes and says, "THAT'S SO CUTE...♡" while Colon in a police-style hat grins, "--ALRIGHT THEN! BUT I GET TO BE THE CAPTAIN!!" A tiny creature protests, "HUHI YOU WANNA COME WITH MEI I THOUGHT YOU WERE GONNA TELL ME TO STOP!" as the group rows a small boat with sounds "ズルッ... ズル..." and "AH!!" while chanting, "HEA... In the distance across open fields, Saul spots the line of children marching away and cries "BUT IT'S HEADIN' STRAIGHT FOR THE FLAMES!! THEY'LL DIE IF I DON'T STOP 'EM!" The kids continue following the long cloth trail. Suddenly the scene erupts in chaos as barbed wire and wheels spin wildly; children scream "AAAAHH!!" and "AGGGHH!!" while one shouts "WHAT THE--I!" and another yells "TRICK TRICK" as the cloth wraps around them. A voice calls "ALL RIGHT, THEY'RE STOP--" amid the frantic motion.

WHO'S BEHIND THISI!" and "THEY'RE ACTUALLY CONTROLLING THESE MONSTERS TOOI!" while another voice questions "WHAT I FIND MOST SCARY" and "NO WAYI!" In a village setting, warriors discuss "WE NEED TO FIND THEM, FAST!" "IT MUST BE SOME KIND OF ABILITY." "THEY'RE APPEARING ALL OVER ELBAFI!" and "OTHER VILLAGES ARE REPORTING MONSTER SIGHTINGS...!!" A sign marks "WESTERN VILLAGE OUTSKIRTS." Fighters battle the creature; one commands "CARRY THE INJURED BACK TO THE VILLAGE!!" as impacts land with "OOMBBF!!" and "FINALLY!"

A bearded giant in a horned helmet shouts "A NIDHOGGR!" while another warrior is hurled backward by the beast's strike, the impact "BWAHHH!!" echoing. Nearby, a scarred fighter yells "WHATI!" in shock. Below, panicked villagers flee as a ghost-like figure looms; one cries "WHAT I FIND MOST SCARY A GHOST" while another declares "WHAT I FIND MOST SCARY A NIDHOGGR".
