Pirate Usopp vs Princess Perona

In a sprawling castle town with stone buildings and bridges, a voice shouts from above, "YOU!! WHY ARE YOU FLYING!I" Perona, floating in the air with a surprised expression, replies, "I JUST GOT CAUGHT IN THE MOMENT." She continues, "I NEVER THOUGHT THAT THERE WOULD BE A BASTARD WHO WOULDN'T BE AFFECTED BY THE NEGATIVE GHOSTS...!!" Negative ghosts drift nearby as she laughs, "HORO HORO HORO HORO...!!" Below, Usopp stares up with wide eyes and sweat drops, exclaiming, "THERE'S JUST ONE THING I HAVE TO SAY TO YOU...!!" and "WHAT'S WITH THAT COMPO-SURE...!!" Perona warns, "DON'T ACT BRAVE...!! YOU WERE RUNNING AWAY JUST NOW..."

Usopp crouches and aims his slingshot, shouting, "I'M A SNIPER!! WHETHER YOU FLY OR DANCE, IT DOESN'T MATTER! EVEN THOUGH YOU ARE FLYING, THAT DOESN'T MEAN I CAN'T DO ANYTHING!!" Perona's ghosts float nearby as she yells, "LEAVE ME ALONE!!! GOOD THINGS WILL HAPPEN." Usopp then displays his new weapon, explaining its mechanics in detail: "THE ROTATION ADDED TO THE BULLET MAKES IT POSSIBLE FOR IT TO CHANGE SPEED, MAKING IT A SUPER PACHINKO! AND WITH THE 'PRESS DIAL' FROM SKY ISLAND, WHICH ACTIVATES IN THE MOMENT I FIRE, ITS FIVE SUPPORTIVE STEMS IMPROVE ITS STABILITY AND FIRING RANGE. LET ME EXPLAIN!! THIS NEW WEAPON, 'KABUTO.'" The weapon is labeled with dials including "BREATH DIAL," "FLAME DIAL," and others. In the next sequence, Usopp fires, yelling "GONE!!!" as an explosion erupts. Perona's voice calls out "NOW, GET READY..." while an unseen figure says "WHERE DID SHE GO!I" and another mutters "HORO HORO... BEHIND YOU." Usopp reacts in shock as the bullet strikes with massive force, declaring, "YOU CAN'T RUN AWAY FROM THIS!!! AND BY CHOOSING FROM THE 'FLAME,' 'FLASH,' AND 'IMPACT' DIALS, THE BULLET OBTAINS EVEN MORE POWER!!!"

Perona floats with arms crossed, taunting, "SHOOT ME ALREADY," while laughing "HORO HORO HORO HORO." Usopp's attack slams into her midsection, triggering a massive impact with the sound effect "DOWAA AAA!!!" The strike is labeled "*SWALLOWTAIL METEOR*" as Usopp shouts "*AGEHA RYUSEI*!!!" Perona recoils in pain, hissing "BASTARD... HI... HI... HISSATSU!!!" Usopp stares in disbelief, asking "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU~~~~!I" while Perona continues her eerie laughter "HORO HORO HORO..." A close-up shows Usopp's face twisted in shock, screaming "BEEEEH!!I WHA!! WH-WHA!!"

Explosions rock the stone hall as Perona's spirits swarm. Usopp is blasted backward amid flying debris and impact lines while Perona floats with arms spread, shouting "BAS-TARD...". Ghostly laughter echoes: "HORO HORO HORO". Usopp tumbles through the air, yelling "SPIRITS". A close-up shows Usopp's shocked face as he realizes, "....!! SHE CHANGED BACK...!!". Perona continues her assault with more "HORO HORO HORO..." laughter. In the bottom panel Usopp lunges forward with his slingshot, declaring "I'LL PULL YOU DOWN!!!" and firing his attack "KAMAKIRI RYUSEI"!!!! as motion lines and SFX "JIRIN" and "GOGOGO" fill the page.

Perona smiles sweetly with a small "EH..." while Usopp stares in wide-eyed terror, "!!I". A massive impact SFX "ZUUU...." erupts as Usopp is struck. Perona's body phases through him; Usopp gasps "GIH..." with blood flying. In the next sequence Usopp clutches his torso in panic, screaming "OEH!! HAA... HAA...!!! I'M DEAD!!! I'M GONNA BLEED OUT!!!" and "I WAS PIERCED!! I WAS PIERCED BY BARE HANDS; I'M DONE FOR." while a distant view shows him collapsing in the corridor. Perona's hands remain embedded inside his body. She calmly states, "FOOL, LOOK CLOSELY." and "THERE'S NO EXTERNAL INJURY, YET MY HANDS ARE INSIDE YOUR BODY." Usopp realizes in horror, "HER HANDS... WENT INSIDE ME!!!" as the panel ends on his shocked face.

Perona looms close with wide eyes, declaring, "AND I'M GOING TO SMASH IT!!!" and "RIGHT NOW MY HANDS ARE AROUND YOUR HEART," while her Negative Hollows press against a visible heart shape. She adds with a laugh, "HAA..." and "BUT THE FACT YOU'LL DIE SOON IS TRUE." In a vast stone hallway a lone figure stands far away. Perona's face fills the frame again as she commands, "NO, PLEASE STOP... HAA... SHTOP!!" and "NOW, DIE IN PAIN AND ANGUISH!!" The attacked man in goggles and a striped hat gasps, "I'M GOING TO KILL YOU!!!" while Perona pleads, "STOP, PLEASE. I'M REALLY GOING TO DIE!!!" and he retorts, "GEHOH... OO!! SHTOP!!!" He clutches his chest, muttering, "I DON'T WANT TO D..." as impact lines and "ドクン!!" pound around him. Close-ups show desperate hands clawing at the floor and a heart shape pulsing with "ドクン...!!" and "...IE!!"

Perona laughs "HORO HORO HORO HORO...!!" and explains, "IF I WERE TO HAVE THAT KIND OF PHYSICAL POWER, YOU WOULD'VE DIED THE MOMENT I PIERCED YOU WITH MY HANDS." She admits, "IT WAS A BLUFF!!!" and "BUT I CAN'T DO THINGS LIKE THAT." Usopp's body is hurled backward through an archway amid debris and "ドクン" effects. Perona's severed head yells, "GYAAA~ A SEVERED HEAD!!!" while her ghost form passes through Usopp, who clutches his chest in pain, thinking, "WHAT MY HAND DID WAS NOTHING MORE THAN..." and gasping, "HAA... HAA... EITHER WAY, THAT'S BAD FOR MY HEART...!!" Perona's lower body stands striped and transparent as she states, "CAN GO THROUGH ANYTHING...!!" and "THIS BODY OF MINE." From the floor Usopp looks up at her floating form and asks, "...I" while she continues, "EVEN IF YOU CAN CLEARLY SEE ME," with more "ドクン" and "ズズズ..." sounds echoing.

Perona launches her attack from midair, shouting "ROKUREN MAMUSHI BOSHI"!!! as six snake-like projectiles streak toward Usopp. Usopp recoils in shock, "!!I" The technique is labeled "HISSATSU!!" with the note "6 CONTINUOUS VIPER STAR". In the next moment Perona closes in, grappling Usopp from behind while he struggles violently. "UWAA!!! STOP IT!!! THAT'S DISGUSTING!!!" he yells as her body phases through his. Perona smirks and replies, "DIDN'T I TELL YOU I CAN GO THROUGH ANYTHINGI" Sound effects "ズズ.." mark the eerie contact. Usopp's face twists in panic as Perona calmly states, "CAN'T HIT ME. IN OTHER WORDS, YOUR ATTACKS"

Usopp pants heavily, "HAA... HAA..." while Perona orders, "GO OVER THERE, DAMMIT!!!" Usopp shouts back, "NOW, WHAT WILL YOU DOI NO ATTACK WILL WORK ON ME." Perona screams, "UWAA!!! YOU BASTARD!! GET AWAY!!!" as a massive Negative Hollow looms behind her with sound effects "ホロホロ..." and "ズルッ!!" In close-up Perona taunts, "YOU JUST BLUFFED ABOUT BEING ABLE TO TOUCH MY HEART, DIDN'T YOUI THAT MEANS YOU CAN'T TOUCH ME EITHER, RIGHT!I" Usopp yells, "SHUT UP!!" Perona then summons smaller ghosts, declaring "MINI HOLLOW." The tiny smiling Negative Hollows float forward with "ホロッ!" and "ポッ!" effects. Usopp panics, "YOU CAN'T ATTACK ME, EITHER... AM I WRONG!!I" while Perona answers, "I CAN'T ATTACK YOU, BUT"

Perona floats with a sly grin and snaps her fingers. "GHOST WRAP." A sharp "パチン！" rings out. Usopp stands tense in the stone corridor as tiny ghosts drift nearby. Explosions erupt violently around him with "パチーン!!!" and "ぎょっ" as debris flies. Usopp's eyes bulge in shock. "PSTA..." "!!!I A... A SHOCK WAVE...!I" More blasts shake the hallway, "ベロコ...!!!" A massive wrap of ghostly energy engulfs Usopp from below. "WRAP!!!" he screams, "UGYA~~~~!! LET GO!!!" Perona watches with a small "..." as the attack drags him down amid smoke and impact lines.

Usopp launches a desperate counter from the smoke. "HISSATSU!! 'HI NO TORI BOSHI'!!!!" A fiery phoenix-shaped projectile streaks forward with "PHOENIX STAR" and massive impact lines. Perona recoils, "KUH..." "...BAS-TARD!!!" She summons a swarm of Negative Hollows that swarm around her. "HORO HORO HORO HORO" The ghosts overwhelm Usopp. He drops to his knees, face twisted in despair. "I CAN'T EVEN ATTACK, AND SHE CAN!!" "THIS ISN'T FAIR!!!" "WINNING THIS MATCH ISN'T POSSIBLE!!!" Perona stands triumphant as the hollows continue their assault.

Perona rockets through the air in a burst of speed, her body angled forward as massive impact lines and debris explode around her. "HORO HORO HORO HORO" echoes from above. A small figure tumbles violently from the force. Below, Usopp is slammed hard into a stone pillar, crying out "FUGEH!!" as the impact cracks the structure. Perona hovers nearby, eyes wide, shouting "I CAN'T SEE IF YOU ARE THERE! MOVE!!!" while Usopp's panicked face appears beside her yelling "HEY!!!" In the next sequence Usopp lies sprawled on the floor of the vast hall, surrounded by tiny floating ghosts. Perona stands triumphant, laughing "HORO HORO HORO HORO" as the small spirits swarm around the fallen sniper.

A massive explosion of smoke and impact lines erupts as Perona declares "GHOST WRAP"!! Her Negative Hollows swarm outward with repeated "PHAS PHAS PHAS PHAS PHAS!!" sounds. Usopp, now transformed into a small black creature with a pumpkin-like head, lies stunned on the ground thinking "THAT WOMAN... I THOUGHT SHE WAS WEAKER THAN ME..." Nearby he wonders "WHAT'S THIS... WHAT'S WITH THIS LAME APPEARANCE...I" A giant bear-like figure suddenly looms over the scene. Usopp's shocked face appears in the foreground exclaiming "A BEAR..." as the massive creature reaches down toward the tiny transformed sniper.

Kumashi slams into Usopp with overwhelming force, the impact exploding across the page in massive black SFX. Perona watches with wide eyes and warns, "BE CAREFUL... KUMASHI'S PHYSICAL STRENGTH IS SUPERIOR TO THAT OF A REAL BEAR!!" Usopp is sent flying as the bear zombie's power overwhelms him. In the next panels Usopp struggles on the ground, thinking desperately, "FOR ME TO SAVE THEM... THAT WAS TOO HEAVY A LOAD FOR ME... HELP ME...!!!" and "AFTER I'M BEATEN, THAT WOMAN IS GOING TO CATCH LUFFY AND THE OTHERS... ONE BRINGS DOWN THE REST." A voice declares, "YOUR POWER CANNOT STAND AGAINST THAT WOMAN!!!" Usopp recalls, "I WAS THE ONLY ONE THAT COULD STAND AGAINST IT...!!!" and "I EVEN SAID THIS WAS MY CHANCE... I EVEN SAID THAT TO THEM... IT'S OVER... I CAN'T GO ON... I NO LONGER FEEL LIKE I'M GONNA WIN...!!!" Kumashi delivers a final crushing blow with a loud "バキッ!!" as Usopp collapses, muttering "OH..."

Usopp, wearing his Sogeking mask, is violently struck and cries out in pain, "UH!!I HELP ME, SOGEKING...!!!" as Kumashi's attack lands with a heavy "ズッッ!!" Perona and the zombies react in shock. Perona leans in with a serious expression and asks, "WHAT WOULD YOU DO...!I" and "PLEASE TELL ME!!!" Usopp's mask lies broken on the ground. Enraged, Perona shouts, "BASTARD, HOW DARE YOU DO THAT TO KUMASHI!!!! WHAT'S THAT STUPID MASK!!!" while the zombies yell "KUMASHI!!!I" and "ONE DOWN!!" Kumashi is sent flying through the air and crashes down hard in the background as Perona glares furiously.

Sogeking bursts forward with dramatic flair, declaring, "NICE TO MEET YOU!! MY NAME IS SOGEKING!!!" A small figure in the corner snaps, "DON'T FUCK WITH ME!! WHAT PART OF YOU IS SOMEONE ELSE!I" while Sogeking retorts, "... HAA... THIS IS NO STUPID MASK!!!" In the next sequence, voices challenge him: "SEE!!! YOU DON'T HAVE ANY!" "NONE." "DO YOU HAVE SOME PROOF OF THAT!I" "THAT'S NOT TRUE. YOU ARE A MAN THAT CAN DO IT WHEN NEEDED TO!!" Sogeking yells back, "SHUT UP!! THERE'S NO WAY FOR ME TO WIN." "CALM DOWN!!! FIGHT BACK, USOPP-KUN!!" The masked sniper suddenly flees, shouting, "BASTARD!! YOU ARE RUNNING AWAY!!" and "NOW I RUN!!" In the bottom panels, Sogeking reflects amid Negative Hollows, "IF I'M RIGHT, SHE FEARED ME AT FIRST AND WAS RUNNING AROUND!!" "THAT'S TRUE... THAT WOMAN SUDDENLY BECAME FULL OF CONFIDENCE!!" "BUT I DON'T CARE. FULLY!!! THERE'S TOO MUCH UNKNOWN ABOUT THAT WOMAN!!" Perona appears on the right, striking a pose as "MINI HOLLOW" ghosts swarm around her with "PISHI" and "PISHI" effects.

Perona floats through the ruined hall, her attacks exploding around her as narration notes, "THAT'S RIGHT... I WAS ONCE STOPPED BY THE BEAR AND LOST SIGHT OF HER..." "BUT AT THAT TIME, SHE JUST RAN AROUND WHILE SHOUTING." "SHE SHOULD HAVE BEEN ABLE TO FLY AND EVEN GO THROUGH WALLS." "IF MY ATTACKS WERE USELESS TO BEGIN WITH, SHE WOULDN'T HAVE HAD THE NEED TO RUN AWAY IN THE FIRST PLACE." She unleashes "WRAP" and "WRAP"!!! attacks with massive blasts and "LIRIRI" and "PAPP" effects. In the next panels, Perona stands over a defeated figure, asking, "NOW... ISN'T IT ABOUT TIME I HAND YOU OVER TO MORIA-SAMAI" while the battered Usopp gasps, "HAA...!!!" and "HAA..." A close-up shows Usopp's shocked face realizing, "SOMETHING HAPPENED AT THAT TIME!!!" In the final sequence, Usopp lies on the floor, muttering, "ISN'T THERE A PLACE THAT LOOKS LIKE A ROOM AROUND HERE...I" as Perona's voice echoes, "WHATI YOU HAVE SOME FINAL REQUEST...I" "HORO HORO..." Usopp suddenly grins with realization, "YOUR TRICK...!!!" "THAT'S IT! I SOLVED IT...!!!" while gasping, "HAA..."

In the grand hall, a horned creature charges forward shouting "ATLAS SUISUI*!!!!" while unleashing a massive strike labeled "HIS-SATSU!!!!". Perona watches in shock from the side, exclaiming "THAT'S IT..." and "EH!I" as she realizes the attack's target. She yells "WAIT!! WHERE ARE YOU AIMING AT!!I" while sweat drops fly. The blast connects with explosive force, sending debris flying as "ポコッ" and impact sounds erupt. Perona's eyes widen in horror with "....!!!". The scene shifts to reveal a massive throne room where a small figure sits atop an enormous striped body. A voice declares "I FOUND IT....!!!" as the true form is exposed. "THAT'S YOUR TRUE BODY!!!" *ATLAS COMET
