A massive explosion rocks the sea as the enormous ship Noah hurtles through the water. Voices cry out: 'THE PRINCESS DREW AWAY THE DANGER FOR OUR SAKES!!!' and 'THE NOAH... DIDN'T CRASH INTO FISHMAN ISLAND!!!' Shirahoshi's friends shout desperately, 'OH, PRINCESS SHIRAHOSHI!!! RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!!!' Below, Shirahoshi swims hard through the ocean, panting heavily, her mermaid tail propelling her forward. She thinks, 'I HAVE TO GET OUT INTO THE OPEN WATER, OR THE ISLAND'S BUBBLE WILL BURST...!!!' while Hody Jones roars from the side, 'WHERE ARE YOU GOING, SHIRAHOSHII! BAHOHOH!!!' and 'THERE'S NOWHERE TO HIDE!!!' Shirahoshi gasps, 'PRINCESS!!!'

Shirahoshi continues swimming desperately, thinking '...I KNOW! THE LAST PEOPLE TO LEAVE RYUGUU PALACE WERE LUFFY-SAMA'S FRIENDS, SO...!' She notes the main entrance is too far and the bubble too damaged. Below, citizens of the Fish-Man District panic and shout: 'IT'S NOT HER FAULT THAT ANY OF THIS HAPPENED!!' 'DECKEN'S ON THAT SHIP!! AND HODY'S GONE UP THERE TOO!!' 'THE PRINCESS OF OUR KINGDOM IS RISKING HER LIFE FOR US!!' 'IS THERE NOTHING WE CAN DOI!' A massive figure with wild hair and a beard, covered in chains, pants heavily on the seafloor while the crowd yells 'PRINCESS SHIRAHOSHI IS IN TERRIBLE DANGER!!!'

High above, Luffy leaps through the air as someone yells 'RIGHT!!' and 'LUFFY!! BE CAREFUL OF HODY!! HIS FISHMAN STRENGTH WILL BE ON A WHOLE DIFFERENT LEVEL UP THERE IN THE OCEAN!!!' Luffy strains, thinking 'I CAN'T SEND HIM FLYING OUT INTO THE OPEN WATER...!! I HAVE TO GET THIS JUST RIGHT... NOT TOO FAR, NOT TOO WEAK...' He launches a powerful strike, shouting 'GOMU SHOOT!!!' as his arm stretches and impacts with a massive 'GOGOGO' effect, sending shockwaves through the water.

Luffy is hurled through the air amid massive bubbles and debris as a huge chain-like structure dominates the scene. A fish-man grits his teeth in pain, "UNGH HH!!" Luffy yells in shock, "WHOAAA AAA!! THIS IS ONE BIG CHAIN!!" He realizes his location, "WHERE AM I...I IN BETWEEN THE TWO BUBBLESI!" Below, labeled positions show Shirahoshi trapped in one bubble and Hody in another. Luffy reacts with surprise, "HMI!" A voice calls out, "AHH!! HODY'S STILL DOWN THERE BELOW THE BUBBLE!"

Many fish-men strain to slow the massive Noah ship, shouting, "WE HAVE TO SLOW THIS SHIP DOWN AS MUCH AS WE CAN...!!!!" and "EVERYBODY PULL!! EVEN IF WE CAN'T STOP IT..." A huge fish-man with a spotted shell roars encouragement, "IT MAY ACHIEVE NEXT TO NOTHING, BUT WE HAVE TO DO WHAT WE CAN!!!" He urges Shirahoshi, "PRINCESS, YOU HAVE TO GET YOURSELF SOMEWHERE SAFE FROM HARM!!!!" Another warns, "DON'T LET THE NOAH GO AFTER HER!!!" and "SO PUUUUU UUUUUU UULLL!!!"

Luffy shouts furiously from above, "HEY!!! STOP THAT!!!" A fish-man questions the effort, "AS THOUGH THEY COULD MOVE THIS SHIP A SINGLE MILLIMETRE..." while another wonders, "ARE THEY COMPLETELY INSANE...I" A mermaid watches with concern, hands near her face. Luffy reacts in shock, "HUHI!" as a massive impact erupts with the sound "レレレレレレ" and someone yells, "YABU-SAME!!!"

Panic erupts across the deck as fish-men scream in terror, "AAAA AHHHH HHH!!!" and "AAAA ARGHHH HHH!!!" Hody Jones looms with a furious glare, snarling, "WORTHLESS PIECES OF FILTH...!!!" and "IT'S THANKS TO IDIOTS LIKE YOU THAT THE HUMANS LOOK DOWN ON OUR KIND!!!" Shirahoshi spots the open palace gate and cries, "I KNEW IT!! THE GATE INTO THE PALACE IS WIDE OPEN!!" Luffy stares in shock, "WHY, THAT DIRTY...!!!"

Shirahoshi slips free through the stretched-out connecting way and plunges into open water. Alarmed voices cry out, "HEY - HANG IN THERE!!" and "PRINCESS SHIRAHOSHI JUST..." A massive splash erupts as the enormous ship Noah surges forward in pursuit. Someone shouts, "AND THE NOAH'S FOLLOWING HER!!!" Shirahoshi, tears streaking her face and breathing heavily, hears the desperate plea: "PRINCESS, RUN AS FAR AWAY AS YOU CAN!!" The colossal vessel looms behind her, chains dangling as it crashes through the water with thunderous force.

Luffy tumbles violently through the churning water, tangled in heavy chains that whip around him. "WHOAAAHH!! WE'RE GOING UP!!" he yells as the chains yank him higher. A massive bubble forms around him, carrying him upward amid swirling currents and debris. "GET BACK HERE, CHAIN!!" he shouts while struggling inside the sphere. The bubble spins wildly as Luffy fights to control his ascent, the chains still trailing behind.

Trapped inside the bubble in open water, Luffy stares up in shock at a towering black figure looming over him. A voice mocks, "A pathetic human, who cannot even breathe beneath the waves." The massive creature continues, "Out in the open water, with nothing but ocean all around you... Beg for mercy, inferior being!!! And you hope to become king of these watersI! Hah!!" Luffy's eyes widen in alarm. Below, the enormous Noah continues its rampage, its hull smashing through structures as a voice laughs, "BAHO HOHO HOHO!" and another cries out in terror, "SHIIII RAAAAAAA HOOOOOO SHIII!!"

Vander Decken looms with weapons raised, snarling, "SO WHICH WILL IT BEI! WILL YOU DIE FROM BLOOD LOSS AS THE LIFE SPURTS FORTH FROM YOUR WOUNDSI!! OR WILL THIS MIGHTY SHIP CRUSH YOU FIRST!!!" He demands, "HOW'RE YOU LIKING YOUR FREEDOMI! THE WALLS OF SHELL PROTECTED YOU FOR TEN LONG YEARS WON'T HELP YOU HERE!!!" Offering one final chance, he roars, "SAY YES, AND I'LL SAVE YOU FROM CERTAIN DEATH!! I'LL GIVE YOU ONE LAST CHANCE RIGHT NOW, SHIRAHOSHI!!! SO MARRY MEEEEEEE!!!" Shirahoshi, bloodied and terrified, cries out, "YOU'RE JUST NOT MY -!!!" and "I'M TERRIBLY SORRY, DECKEN-SAMA, BUT..." as blades and debris rain down around her.

Neptune towers over Vander Decken IX, sword drawn, roaring, "SHIRAHOSHI IS OUR BELOVED SISTER!! YOU ARE NOT LAYING A SINGLE FINGER ON HER, DECKEN!!!" Decken snarls back, "IF YOU THINK WE'RE GONNA LET YOU MARRY SHIRAHOSHI, YOU'VE GOT ANOTHER THING COMING!!!" Behind them, the three princes—Mamboshi, Ryuboshi, and Fukaboshi—shout in unison, "MAMBOSHI-ONII-SAMA!! RYUBOSHI-ONII-SAMA!! HOE-SAMA!!" while a massive "GO!!" impact shakes the scene and someone yells "HOEEE EELL!!" Shirahoshi watches from above, wide-eyed. In the next tier, Shirahoshi cries out from Megalo's back as the whale speeds through the ocean floor plaza, "SHIRAHOSHI!!! SAVE THE CRYING FOR LATER!!" A voice from the crowd calls, "ALL THE PEOPLE FROM DOWN IN THE PLAZA... THEY WERE TRYING TO SAVE ME, AND...!" Shirahoshi sobs, "A-ARE YOU... ANGRY...I UWAAH! I'M NOT ANGRY!!" The princes yell, "BAHOHHHHI! MY BROTHERS-IN-LAAAAW!!! LIKE HELL WE ARE!!!" Neptune commands, "AS SUCH!! WE MUST ENSURE THAT IT RETURNS TO THE OCEAN FLOOR WITHOUT COLLIDING WITH ANYTHING!!" while another warns, "ACCORDING TO OUR FATHER... THE NOAH MUST ABSOLUTELY NOT BE HARMED IN ANY WAY-FA-SO-LA-TI-DO!!" and Decken's voice cuts in, "HOW DARE YOU INTERRUPT JUST AS SHIRAHOSHI WAS ABOUT TO GIVE ME HER ANSWER!!!"

Decken lunges forward with a massive "DON!!" impact, chains and debris flying as the massive ship section crashes through the ocean floor. He snarls at Luffy, "YOU CAN'T RUN FROM ME, STRAW HAT!!!" Luffy, riding on Shirahoshi's back inside a bubble, shouts, "THIS IS NO TIME TO BE WORRYING ABOUT MY WOUNDS...!! *PANT*..." while Neptune, bloodied but fierce, replies, "THANKS FOR THIS! YOU REALLY SAVED ME!! ARE YOU ALL RIGHT, THOUGHI!" A panel shows Luffy's determined face as he declares, "IT'S TIME WE TOOK CARE OF THAT DECKEN!!!" Shirahoshi looks worried, "HERE IT COMES!! WHOAAA!!!" The group debates their path: "THIS ISN'T GOOD...!! AT ANY RATE, WE NEED TO KEEP OUR COURSE AWAY FROM ANY UNDERSEA MOUNTAINS OR TRENCHES!!" "WE MUST GO UP!!! THERE ARE TOO MANY DANGEROUS OBSTACLES HERE ON THE OCEAN FLOOR!!" "BUT THEN WHERE SHOULD WE RUN, MAMBO-SHI-ONII-SAMAI!" "WE CAN'T LEAD THE SHIP INTO SUCH PLACES!!!"

A massive figure labeled "KIRISAME" slices through the water with a shark-like fin attack, sending shockwaves and "GIRA" effects. Luffy's eyes widen in shock as debris and bubbles explode around him with "ZUUU!!" and impact lines. The creature's fin slices past, creating a massive underwater explosion of foam and bubbles. Luffy screams, "AHHH HHHH HH!!!" as the violent current hurls him and Shirahoshi through the raging waters.

The violent waters churn as Kirisame's massive body thrashes, sending Shirahoshi, Luffy, and the princes tumbling with "GYAH OOO!!!" and impact effects. Neptune's voice echoes, "WHEN I LEFT THAT TOWER WITH CRY-HOSHI, I WAS GOING TO PROTECT HER!!" Shirahoshi cries out while carrying Luffy, "I WANT TO BEAT UP THAT HODY AND THE OTHER GUY WHO THROWS STUFF!! HEY, TAKE ME TO THE DECK OF THE SHIP WHERE I CAN FIGHT!!" Luffy grins, "YOU PROMISED TO PROTECT HERI WELL, SO DID WE...!!" Neptune continues, "DON'T WORRY ABOUT THAT! JUST TAKE ME TO THE DECK!" and adds, "AND YOU, STRAW HAT... WE OWE YOU OUR DEEPEST APOLOGIES. WE SHOULD NEVER HAVE DOUBTED YOU...!! I FEEL DEEPLY ASHAMED THAT A MERE DRUG WAS ENOUGH TO PREVENT US FROM STANDING UP TO THAT COMMON THUG!!" The three princes declare together, "WE THREE BROTHERS WILL BECOME GREAT WARRIORS, JUST LIKE OUR FATHER...!! AND AS WE PROMISED YOU, WE WILL PROTECT SHIRAHOSHI WITH OUR LIVES!!!"

Hody Jones looms with a savage grin as Neptune struggles in the background. "I'M JUST TAKING CARE OF SHIRAHOSHI NOW WITH THIS SHIP." Neptune shouts back, "WELL, MY BROTHER IN ARMS!!!" and "DON'T YOU THINK IT'S A WONDERFUL IDEAI!" Hody retorts, "AHHH... WHY, IF IT ISN'T HODY JONES!! BAHOHO HOHO!! HOW DID THINGS GO WITH NEPTUNEI! IS HE DEADI!" A massive impact erupts as Neptune swings his massive trident, "KSPLASH", sending Hody flying. "HMMMI" Hody wonders. Shirahoshi appears on the deck, wide-eyed, "YOU HAVE BUSINESS ON THE DECKI THEN I'LL WAIT FOR YOU THERE!...I! HODY..." She pants heavily, "UPWARDS... I MUST SWIM UPWARDS..." as the ship begins to rise. Neptune cries out in panic, "AAA...HHH...I!! WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO THIS SHIP......WITH YOU DEAD AND GONEI WELL, DECKENI" while Hody lies bloodied and pinned beneath the trident.
