The Yonkou Assassination Plot

At a strategy conference, Capone Bege declares, 'ASSUMING CERTAIN CONDITIONS ARE MET, I CAN TAKE BIG MOM'S HEAD IN 5 SECONDS!' and 'HERE'S THE ANSWER.' Sanji questions, 'IS BIG MOM EVEN THE SORT OF PERSON THAT'LL DIE TO GUNS OR CANNONSI' while noting he is 'NOT TOO INTERESTED IN PULLING OFF THE ASSASSINATION OF BIG MOM MYSELF, BUT...' Bege continues, 'AS FAR AS MY FIRST IMPRESSION OF HER GOES, SHE SEEMS LIKE AN IRON BALLOON! I DOUBT WE CAN EVEN PUT A SCRATCH ON HER.' The group debates the tea party plan. Chopper yells, 'CREATING A 5 SECOND OPENING AT THAT TEA PARTY IS NO SMALL TASK-ZERO.' Bege insists, 'AFTER EVEN AN INSTANT, SOMEONE, MOST PROBABLY ONE OF THE COMMANDERS IS GONNA BE AT YOUR THROAT.' They discuss the five-second window and the risk of an all-out battle. Bege asks, 'WHAT SAY YOU, BEGEI' The crew sits around a table filled with food and drinks as they weigh the assassination plot.

Caesar Clown, disguised as Gastino, roars, 'DON'T YOU DARE CALL ME CAESAR IN FRONT OF BIG MOM! NOT EVEN BY MISTAKE!' Bege replies, 'IT'S GASTINO, DAMN IT!' and states, 'THIS ASSASSINATION PLOT STARTS WITH ENSURING CAESAR'S COOPERATION.' A young girl in a rabbit-eared hat watches nervously. Caesar shouts, 'HOW DARE YOU EVEN WORRY ABOUT THAT, GAS-TINY! BEGE KEEPS HIS PROMISES!' Bege threatens, 'OR I PROMISE YOU; I'LL COME FOR YOUR SON'S LIFE!' and 'THAT'S OUR AGREEMENT! DON'T FORGET IT!' Caesar demands, 'ONCE THIS PLOT IS OVER, YOU'RE GOING TO GIVE ME BACK MY HEART AND SET ME FREE!' Bege laughs, 'SHURORORORO! GEHO-GAHO!' while declaring the job important. The crew reacts with shock as someone yells, 'AHAHAHAHAHA! GAS-TINYI! IT'S GASTINO!' and 'WHO CARES WHAT WE CALL HIMI HE'S STILL TRASH.'

Bege displays the KX Launcher and its deadly poison gas bullets. "THE DEADLY POISON GAS BULLET, THE KX LAUNCHER! ONE'S MORE THAN ENOUGH, AND WE'VE GOT 3!" He explains each cartridge delivers five grams of toxic organophosphate poison directly into the body. "AN ABSOLUTELY GODLESS WEAPON OF SLAUGHTER! DIE, YOU FOOLS!" The crew reacts in shock. Nami asks, "SO WE'VE GOT WEAPONS THAT WE KNOW WILL KILL HER; WE JUST GOTTA MAKE SURE WE HIT HERI" Bege confirms, "I SEE. NOW IT MAKES SENSE." Luffy shouts, "WHAAATI! SO WHAT ARE WE GONNA DOI!" Chopper and Carrot stare in alarm while someone notes, "THERE AIN'T MANY WEAPONS IN THIS WORLD THAT CAN!" Bege replies, "THAT CARTRIDGE WON'T BE ABLE TO PENETRATE BIG MOM'S TOUGH SKIN WHEN SHE'S HALE AND HEARTY. SADLY, NOT EXACTLY."

Bege continues laying out the plan. "AND TWO! THAT MAMA'S BODY IS SUFFICIENTLY WEAKENED!" He stresses the need for everyone present to remain still for at least five minutes. "THERE ARE TWO CONDITIONS THAT NEED TO BE MET FOR THIS KX LAUNCHER TO WORK PROPERLY!" A chaotic flashback shows a young girl crying "AWWWWW! I'M SOWWY, BABY!" and "FFGGGY AAAAA AHHH!" while another voice wails, "DADDY SPOKE TOO LOUD, DIDN'T HEI DADDY'S SOWWY!" The scene shifts to the tea party at the castle. Bege declares, "AT THE TEA PARTY! THOSE OVERLY CONVENIENT CONDITIONS CAN ONLY BE MET" and explains Big Mom's iron balloon body won't be scratched even by cannon fire. "HER TOUGH-AS-NAILS BODY SIMPLY DOESN'T SUFFER AS MUCH AS A SCRATCH!"

Bege reveals the key weakness. "THERE'S ONLY ONE TIME THAT I SAW MAMA'S BODY SUFFER EVEN THE SMALLEST INJURY... THE MOTHER CARAMEL PHOTO INCIDENT, RIGHTI!" He shows a photograph. "YOU CAN THINK OF IT AS BIG MOM'S ONE WEAKNESS! INDEED! A PHOTO OF MOTHER CARAMEL!" The crew reacts with surprise. Someone asks, "A PHOTOI!" Bege explains the seat in front of Mama at her tea parties is always reserved for the special photograph. "THAT PICTURE IS VERY IMPORTANT TO BIG MOM." Nami questions, "IS SHE DEADI" while another voice wonders about the incident. Bege notes, "MOTHER CARAMEL IS LIKE MAMA'S LIFE-SAVER, BUT LITTLE IS KNOWN ABOUT HER..."

Bege recounts the incident. "HER FACE GREW BLUE, AND SHE CRIED OUT WITH A PIERCING SOUND, ALMOST ASTOUNDING. AND THAT MOMENT, MAMA'S REACTION WAS ASTOUNDING." In the flashback, young Big Mom scrapes her knees and bleeds while workers collapse around her, covering their ears from a violent fit. "SOME WORKERS BEGAN TO COLLAPSE, ONE AFTER ANOTHER! THOSE AROUND HER COULD DO LITTLE MORE THAN TRY TO COVER THEIR EARS AND PROTECT THEIR EARDRUMS! SYMPTOMS QUITE SIMILAR TO A VIOLENT FIT!" Bege concludes, "ALL THIS JUST BECAUSE SOMEONE DROPPED A PHOTO... BECAUSE, IN ADDITION TO THAT STRANGE VOICE OF HERS, SHE'S LIABLE TO EVEN ACTIVATE HER CONQUEROR'S HAKI." The crew listens in stunned silence.

The group discusses Big Mom's surprising weakness. "TO BE HONEST, WE WERE ALL QUITE SURPRISED THAT REGULAR RED BLOOD RUNS IN HER VEINS!" one explains. "IN ANY CASE, WHEN SHE ENTERS THAT STATE, HER BODY LOSES ITS TOUGHNESS!" another adds. "ANYWAY, WHEN ALL THIS HAPPENED, MAMA TOOK TO HER KNEES WITH THE SHOCK... AND DOING SO SCRAPED HER KNEES! SHE BLED!" They reveal the plan: "WE'LL HAVE AT LEAST 5 SECONDS TO OURSELVES, WITHOUT INTERFERENCE FROM ANYONE ELSE!" A scarred man shouts, "MAMA WILL BE WEAKENED!" while another warns, "NOW, WHAT WILL HAPPEN I WONDER, IF ONE OF US SPLITS THAT PRECIOUS PHOTO OF HERS RIGHT IN TWOI!" The scarred man continues, "AND JUST THEN, THE KX LAUNCHER WILL DEMONSTRATE ITS EFFECTS! BIG MOM WILL DIE!" Nami holds up earplugs and declares, "THE 'INVISIBLE SYMPHONIA SYSTEM!'" Someone replies, "DON'T WORRY. I'VE GOT THESE!" A small girl cries, "OH, EARPLUGS!" while another panel shows concern: "BUT... WHAT ABOUT THAT VOICEI WHAT IF EVEN WE END UP BEING UNABLE TO MOVEI!" Bege grins wildly, "AND NEWS OF HER ASSASSINATION WILL SPREAD THE WORLD OVER!"

Luffy suddenly stands and declares, "THEN I'LL USE THAT TIME TO SAVE SANJI AND HIS FAMILY!" A voice reacts, "HUHI!" Nearby, someone worries, "IF JUST SPLITTING THAT PHOTO IN TWO IS GONNA CAUSE THAT BIG OF A RUCKUS..." The crew debates the timing. "WILL BE A MIRACLE IN AND OF ITSELF!" one says. Another explains, "JUST MANAGING TO SURVIVE THOSE 3 SECONDS, WHERE NOTHING WILL HAVE HAPPENED YET AND WE'RE SURROUNDED BY ENEMIES, THERE'S GOING TO BE A 3 SECOND GAP BETWEEN WHEN THAT PHOTO BREAKS AND WHEN BIG MOM'S FIT WILL START!" A man in a hat snaps, "OI! QUIT ACTIN' ALL COCKY!" Bege yells at Luffy, "BEGE! NAMI AND THE OTHERS SAVED LOLA! WHY'RE YOU BASICALLY SENTENCING THEM TO THEIR DEATHI!" Luffy retorts, "WAIT A MINUTE! YOU'RE GOING TO HAVE LUFFY BE A DECOYI!" The man in the hat points and growls, "WE'RE GONNA HAVE YOU PLAY THAT PART, STRAW HAT!"

Luffy grins widely and laughs, "BESIDES, I JUST THOUGHT UP A SUPER COOL WAY TO MAKE MY ENTRANCE! SHISHISHI! IT'S COOL! I'LL DO IT!" The crew reacts with shock. Someone asks, "WHEN SANJI AND PUDDING KISS, RIGHTI" Another presses, "HOW RELIABLE OF YA. YOU KNOW WHAT THE SIGNAL'LL BE, RIGHTI" A worried voice stammers, "SO MUCH FOR ME BEING ALL WORRIED..." while others react, "NO! WE AIN'T GONNA KISS AT ALL! WE CAN'T!" "WHA AAI!" "NOPE! CAN'T SPOIL IT JUST YET." "REALLYI WHAT IS ITI! WHAT IS ITI! TELL ME!" Luffy points and says, "YOU GUYS, FOCUS ON THE RESCUE. WE'LL FOCUS ON THE ASSASSINATION. AT WORST, YOU SHOULD STILL BE ABLE TO GET IT ALL DONE IN TEN SECONDS." He continues, "ALRIGHT. MAKES THINGS SIMPLE. AS SOON AS BIG MOM SCREAMS, THE BALL'S IN OUR COURT." Nami looks concerned as Luffy explains, "OH! OKAY! THAT'S EASY. SHE'S GOING TO TRY AND SHOOT ME JUST WHEN WE'RE ABOUT TO KISS! AND I'M GOING TO HAVE TO DODGE IT. SO LET HER GUNSHOT BE THE SIGNAL!"

Bege argues, "I'LL BE HOLDING THE MIRROR WE'RE GONNA USE TO ESCAPE! AND THIS WOMAN, OF COURSE! DON'T JUST RANDOMLY COUNT ME AS PART OF YOUR TEAM! MAMA'S GONNA KILL ME!" Luffy shouts back, "LISTEN UP! AS I, WHO CAN FLY, MAKE MY APPEARANCE..." while another man yells, "YOU MEAN THIS GENIUS! WHO ARE YOU CALLING IDIOT, IDIOTI!" Bege adds, "AS ALL THIS STUFF IS GOING ON, THIS IDIOT'LL SHOW UP!" The plan continues: "QUICKLY JUMP INTO CAESAR'S MIRROR! THOSE AROUND YOU SHOULD STILL BE UNDER THE SPELL OF MAMA'S VOICE." "AS SOON AS YOU ALL FINISH YOUR RESPECTIVE JOBS..." "THERE AIN'T VERY MANY ABILITIES IN THIS WORLD AS USEFUL AS HERS WHEN IT COMES TO ESCAPE! TO BE HONEST, I'M GLAD YOU ALL MANAGED TO BRING BRÛLÉE WITH YOU!" A wide view shows the hall filled with guests. Bege concludes, "THAT WAY, WE'LL ALL BE ABLE TO ESCAPE AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE!" while muttering, "GOTTA INFORM BIG MOM SOMEHOW... Y'ALL SHOULD PREPARE A MIRROR ON YOUR SHIP!"

Luffy, Sanji, and Bege stand close together with intense expressions. Luffy shouts, "OKAY!" Bege declares, "MAY WAR'S FORTUNES BE WITH YOU!" Sanji yells, "THIS ALLIANCE IS OFF! WE HIGHTAIL IT OUT OF BIG MOM'S TERRITORY! EVERY MAN FOR HIMSELF!" Bege adds, "AS SOON AS WE EACH REACH OUR RESPECTIVE SHIPS," with motion lines and impact effects punctuating their resolve. In the next panel Sanji looks aside and says, "I'VE GOTTA GET BACK TO MY ROOM. I AM THE GROOM, AFTER ALL." A large ornate clock shows the hands at roughly two-thirty while a voice notes, "ABOUT TWO AND A HALF HOURS LEFT, HUH..." Bege smirks and comments, "LOOKIN' GOOD, HUH..." Below, a small figure calls out, "HEY, BEGE! I'VE GOT A FAVOR TO ASK." Bege snaps back, "QUIT FOCUSING ON WHETHER OR NOT IT'LL BE FUNNY! YOU'RE GONNA GET YOURSELF KILLED!" Another voice replies, "WHEN I MAKE MY FUNNY ENTRANCE..." Bege continues, "WE'VE GOTTA GO, TOO. GOTTA PRETEND LIKE WE'RE SETTING UP THE SECURITY." The small figure answers, "ROGER!"

A massive Germa Kingdom castle floats on the sea beneath a flag marked "66." Narration states, "THE DAY THAT LORD SANJI GETS MARRIED!" "TODAY IS FINALLY" "GERMA KINGDOM" "APPARENTLY THE ESCORT REGIMENT WE SENT WASN'T ABLE TO GET INSIDE THE CASTLE..." Inside the castle a sign reads "WHOLE CAKE CHATEAU." Vinsmoke family members greet one another: "ALL YE OF THE VINSMOKE FAMILY!" "GOOD MORNING!" "WHAT A PEACEFUL DAY..." "DO THEY EVEN NEED BODYGUARDS AT A WEDDINGI" "WHICH MEANS THAT WE'RE NOT GOING TO BE ABLE TO ATTEND, HUH..." A close-up shows her clutching a tiny skeleton figure while crying, "HE'S DEAD! MY CUTE LITTLE SKELETON IS..." "H-HE WON'T MOVE!" Brook lies motionless in her grasp. Big Mom then bursts into manic laughter, "HAAAA-HAHAHAHA! MAMAMA!" while a bandaged skeleton dances beside her. She bellows, "WEDDING CAAAAAAKE!" A small observer notes, "MORGANNES APPEARS TO HAVE JUST ARRIVED AT THE PORT." Big Mom continues, "THE OTHER GUESTS ARE ARRIVING AT THE CASTLE, ONE AFTER ANOTHER!" Another figure adds, "THAT'S CERTAINLY A SHAME, BUT..." "TODAY'S THE DAY OF THE TEA PARTY, AND..."

Pudding sits alone in her massive, frilled wedding gown, her expression distant as conflicting thoughts race through her mind. A voice laughs, "GYAH HA HAHA!" while others ask, "WHAT'S THE MATTERI MARRIAGE BLUESI" and "I FEEL DOWN..." She murmurs, "I FEEL LIKE I'M SHOULDERING TOO HEAVY A BURDEN, NITRO AND RABIAN." Nearby, a small creature mutters "MM MM..." as Pudding continues, "YOUR DRESS LOOKS WONDERFUL ON YOU!" and "WHAT'S THE MATTER, PUDDINGI" A sign marks "PUDDING'S ROOM." She thinks, "AFTER I KILL THAT SANJI IDIOT, AND... I CAN'T BEAR THE THOUGHT OF BLOOD STAINING THIS." In a large bubble she resolves, "IN ORDER FOR ME TO RETURN TO LIFE AS A GOOD GIRL, I'M GOING TO HAVE TO OVERWRITE A BUNCH OF PEOPLE'S MEMORIES AND STUFF. HONESTLY, WITH ALL OF THESE THINGS, I CAN'T HELP BUT THINK..." The narration declares "TERROR! AND THE SIGNS OF A BRIDE!" as a close-up shows Pudding's intense glare and the words "VERY SOON, THE PARTY BEGINS! THE 'TEA PARTY FROM HELL'!" She snaps, "WHAT A BLOODY PAIN IN THE ASS."
