Perospero can only stare and mutter, "OH, MY..." as the escape party cheers the hole in the candy wall. Someone shouts, "WE DID IT! HE'S THROUGH THE CANDY WALL!" and another adds, "ATTA BOYS, GERMA!" Even while cheering, they insult their carrier: "GO, CAESAR! YOU'RE STILL A SCUMBAG, THOUGH!" Caesar focuses on the next landmark, not freedom itself: "IF I MAKE IT OVER THAT WALL, I'M A FREE MAN!" but Bege corrects the scale of the problem: "IT'S NOT TIME TO GO UP TO THOSE PEARLY GATES YET!" Attention shifts to the Tamatebako, with the question, "AND WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO WITH THAT TAMATEBAKO, DU FELD?" Du Feld, having landed where he wanted, answers, "WELL, I LANDED WHERE I WANTED TO. NOW TIME TO LOOK INSIDE THIS THING!" He approaches the box amid little cries of "OW OW OW..." and "THUD."

The Tamatebako slips into Du Feld's reach after the chaos of the landing. He begins to open it with greedy curiosity: "JUST HOW VALUABLE-" but the moment is cut short by Stussy's attack. Her "FLYING SHIGAN!" strikes him before he can inspect the treasure, sending the box tumbling with a sharp "THUD" and leaving Du Feld down. Stussy reveals herself calmly: "ALIAS: QUEEN OF THE PLEASURE QUARTER" and "CP-AIGIS 0 INTELLIGENCE OPERATIVE STUSSY." She dismisses the prize as a government matter, saying, "I DON'T THINK SO. THE WORLD GOVERNMENT WILL BE TAKING THAT TAMATEBAKO, MY DUMB, DEAD FRIEND." Then she adds with a smile, "BUT WE'LL HAVE YOU TAKE THE BLAME AND THE FALL, OF COURSE!"

Stussy turns the incident into a negotiation with Morgans. She tells him, "AT LEAST, THAT'S THE SORT OF ARTICLE YOU'LL DO ME THE FAVOR OF WRITING, RIGHT, MORGANS?" Morgans curses, "DAMN IT!" but he immediately angles for information: "FINE, BUT AT LEAST LET ME GET THE SCOOP ON THE CONTENTS OF THAT THING!" Stussy acknowledges his instincts: "SURE, IF ALL YOU'RE GOING TO TAKE ARE PICTURES. WHAT A SHREWD MAN. I GUESS IT'S TO BE EXPECTED OF AN INFORMATION MANIPULATOR LIKE YOURSELF." Morgans corrects her pridefully: "I'M A NEWSMAN! I'LL SUE YOU OVER THAT DIFFERENCE!" Before they can settle anything, Big Mom's attention snaps back to Luffy. She bellows, "YOU TOLD ME BACK ON FISHMAN ISLAND DIDN'T YOU, STRAW HAT?!" while Caesar continues screaming in the distance, "AAAA AGGGH HHH!"

Big Mom taunts Luffy with the promise he made on Fishman Island. She repeats it back at him in pieces: "IT'LL BEAT YOU UP, WAS IT?" and "I'LL BE THE ONE THAT WINS IN THE END, RIGHT?!" Then she adds the stakes of territory: "AND ON THIS ISLAND?" and mocks the escape itself, "AND YOU STILL WANNA RUN?! SPINELESS!" Sanji warns Luffy not to take the bait: "DON'T TAKE THE BAIT, LUFFY! SHE'S TRYING TO GET A RISE OUT OF YOU!" Luffy strains, "S-SP-SPINELESS?!" and someone calls, "OI! LUFFY!" Another urges only "JUST ONE PUNCH!" The box bounces along the structure with small trailing sounds until it reaches the base, then hits with a violent "KRMAKK." The explosion detonates at the foot of the enormous cake castle. Smoke and force tear upward through the foundation while the page labels the result directly: "CASTLE COLLAPSES!" The massive Whole Cake Chateau begins to lean and break above the town, shocking everyone with a huge "!!!?" The chapter ends not with the heroes escaping by strength, but with an accident from the Tamatebako threatening to bring the entire castle down.
