In the present, on a ship's deck, a horned giant captain shouts "IT'S JUST AS YOU SAY!" while another replies "EXACTLY, SIRE!!" A crewmate asks "AIN'T THAT RIGHT, GUYSI!" The captain continues, "WHAT A BORE. EVERYONE OUTSIDE ELBAF......IS PATHETICALLY WEAK AND PUNY." Sound effects and motion lines emphasize the giants' massive presence and the crew's energetic reactions.

Narration continues praising a giant woman's power: "HER ROAR IS THUNDER ITSELF! SHE'S ONE OF THE WORLD'S ELUSIVE GIANTS... STANDING TEN METERS TALL, EACH OF HER STEPS IS AN EARTHQUAKE!" IT TAKES BALLS..."

An Elbaph ship sails as giants laugh triumphantly: "THEY WERE FOOLS TO MOCK ELBAF!! WE SURE SHOWED THEM!!" and "BARA HA HA HA HA!! GYA HA HA HA HA!!!" A tall man with a fur collar boasts, "NO NEED TO THANK ME! I'M THE KING OF ELBAF! I COULDN'T JUST SIT BACK WHILE THEY SLIGHTED MY HOMELAND!!" A curly-haired woman demands "WHO'RE YOUI!" A subordinate cries "YOUR MAJESTY!! KING HARALD!!" The king reacts with shock "!!I" and "HUKI" as an impact strikes, followed by a scream "NO WAAAAA!!!" and the sound effect "バチィ!!!" Sweat flies from the king's face in the dramatic close-up.

On the deck of a massive ship, a blonde woman in a black top and shorts stands on the railing overlooking a burning port city filled with giants and destruction. She yells back at the crew, "YOU NEED TO APOLOGIZE! A LOT OF PEOPLE GOT HURT!! TURN THIS SHIP AROUND!!" A large horned giant, King Harald, looms behind her with an angry expression. In a series of flashbacks, the woman recounts how the giants found her adrift near death, took her in, gave her work, and helped her recover: "THEY TOOK ME IN AND GAVE ME WORK AFTER FINDING ME ADRIFT AT THE BRINK OF DEATH. THANKS TO THEIR KINDNESS, I WAS ABLE TO EARN ENOUGH TO EAT AND RECOVER FROM MY INJURIES!!" Harald grabs her, shouting "KING HARALD!! YOU WANT ME TO ROUGH YOU UPI!" She retorts, "ARE YOU CRAZYI! YOU WANNA GO BACK TO THAT PUNY DOLL KINGDOMI" In close-up, Harald roars, "DON'T KID YOURSELF INTO THINKING YOU'RE BETTER THAN THE HUMANS. YOU ARROGANT DISGRACE! THIS KIND OF CRAP IS WHY ALL US OTHER GIANTS ARE ALWAYS LUMPED IN WITH YOU ELBAF SAVAGES!!" She fires back, "LITTLE DOLLS." WHAT THE HELL IS THAT SUPPOSED TO MEANI! YOU JUST HAPPENED TO BE BORN BIG!! YOUR STRENGTH IS A QUIRK OF FATE!!"

King Harald stares grimly toward the distant burning city as the ship sails away, with onomatopoeia "パチパチパチ" and "レキョキョキョ" filling the air. He mutters, "I WAS JUST BORN BIGI" In a bustling port scene, the blonde woman laughs heartily alongside a smiling man in a top hat and a bandaged girl, while workers rebuild structures. She smiles confidently as she helps with construction. Harald's silhouette appears as he orders, "THAT MINIATURE MODEL CITY OF THEIRS! HELP THEM REBUILD, YOU IMBECILES!" His subordinates reply, "YES, SIR!!" On the ship, the blonde woman questions, "WHAT'RE YOU GUYS SPACING OUT FORI!" while King Harald asks, "KING HARALD, ARE WE SETTING SAILI" A crew member responds with "HUHI"

Giants celebrate wildly around a festive building, raising fists and cheering with large onomatopoeia "わあああああああ". Speech bubbles read: "WE'LL TEACH YOU SOME STUFF FOR WHEN YOU GET BACK TO ELBAF!! YOUR USE OF SPICES IS SOMETHING TOO!! I'VE NEVER EATEN ANYTHING WITH THIS MUCH FLAVOR BEFORE!! THEIR CONSTRUCTION TECHNIQUES ARE DIFFERENT..." The blonde woman interacts warmly with the giants, noting, "THEY'RE SO SOPHISTICATED! HUMANS SURE ARE GOOD WITH THEIR HANDS!!" and "AND THE QUALITY OF YOUR FABRICS!!" King Harald watches with a stern, sweating face. In a dramatic panel, a cloaked figure declares, "LOOK AT IT LIKE THIS, HARALD... THE DESTRUCTION OF ANYTHING IN THIS WORLD IS A WASTE." Harald reacts with shock, eyes wide and sweat flying, as background chaos and "ドン!!" sound effects erupt.

In a tropical setting, the blonde woman, a dark-skinned warrior, and King Harald converse with a cloaked figure. Harald says, "WELL, YEAH, I DID... BUT I CAN'T GO BACK NOW." The woman asks, "ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT THE RED LINEI YOU WENT OVER THE BLOOD-SOAKED SERPENTI" The cloaked man explains, "ONE THING LED TO ANOTHER, AND I ENDED UP IN THESE SEAS. I WAS BORN ON SAMUWANAI ISLAND IN THE SOUTH BLUE." A ship labeled "ELBAPH" with a skull flag sails in the background. Later on the dock, Harald reflects, "IT'S KIND OF CREEPY... HOPEFULLY IT'S JUST A PHASE. KING HARALD HAS REALLY CHANGED." The woman replies, "YEAH, MAYBE I JUDGED YOU TOO HARSHLY. COME TO ELBAF! WE'RE NOT AS SAVAGE AS YOU THINK!" The final wide panel shows a massive burning tree structure with the sign "ELBAF, 105 YEARS AGO". A voice states, "...AND IT'S TIME WE ATONE FOR THEM! UP UNTIL NOW, WE'VE COMMITTED COUNTLESS SINS..." Harald shouts in shock, "WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU, HARALDI!" with large impact sound effects "ど!! ど!!".

Dorry and Brogy cheer loudly as the giant king declares his vision. "Dorry, Brogy, and the others will never stop running wild! Waha ha!" the pair laugh. The king continues, "Our land can become more prosperous... If we learn from the world! As king, I intend to frequently travel overseas... I hope to extend a hand of reconciliation to our neighbors and learn from their cultures." From the crowd a giant shouts, "We can still hold on to our warrior ways, rightI!" Another adds, "We may have to reconsider some traditions if other countries feel threatened." The king replies, "That's true! I go way back with those two! They have always had an unusual disposition. They've never failed to treat humans fairly and honorably." A ship sails away under the caption "BLESSED." Villagers react with mixed awe and worry: "Harald is... No, Elbaf is..." "Boja ja! Seems there's a tumultuous journey ahead!" "Zaba ba ba! What a change!"

Harald sits beside a bedridden woman, continuing the debate. "That's not it at all! People need to forge connections! Otherwise, international cooperation is impossible." He adds, "I see... So it's like a fancy hostage deal, huhI We could build a deeper cultural understanding. Say we exchange diplomats with other nations..." Shadows of disapproving giants loom as one declares, "Unfortunately, we can't recognize your marriage! Only pure blood can be permitted within the royal family!" Harald roars back, "Thank you, Ida and I..." A joyful scene erupts with the birth announcement: "Ida, Harald!! Congratulations!! You finally had the babyI!" A sign reads "ELBAF, 81 YEARS AGO EASTERN FISHING VILLAGE." The baby wails "GAAAAA!!" while Harald pleads, "Isn't that great, Hajrudin! At least you can stay near your papa!" Ida smiles warmly as villagers celebrate. Harald bows his head, "Damn it... Forgive me, Ida! You're always welcome in our village, Ida!!"

A close-up reveals the elegant Lady Estrid smiling confidently. "Lady Estrid carries the noble blood of the ancient giants. She is a woman truly fit to become queen." She introduces herself: "I am a student of the earth-wind arts. I was born in the Alcohol Village to the north." Harald is shown with a woman from the east as voices protest, "Oh, no, that's... Forget about that eastern woman and her bastard." Estrid declares, "I am fated to love you for the rest of my life!!" A sign labels her "ELBAF (ALCOHOL VILLAGE) DAUGHTER FROM A PROMINENT BACKGROUND ESTRID." Chaos erupts as someone yells, "And that mirror! It's positioned in a lethal five-star configuration! The king's spirit is leaking out! Quick, shut the windows! Dispose of it! This won't do at all!"

A massive eight-legged horse named Asura is presented. "It's sure to bring you good fortune! It's a fine steed worthy of you, your majesty... Consider it a gift from my family. Meet Asura, the horse of good fortune!" Harald and Estrid stand together while two cloaked figures watch. Estrid smiles and issues orders: "Also, inform the servants that from today onward, the king and I will take all our meals on silver platters. The king's vicinity should be focused on the energies of earth and wind! Guards! Take all of the jewels and gold to my room!" One attendant mutters, "Isn't that just an indulgence...I"

Elbaf's advanced navigation techniques intrigued other countries. In this age, 70-ish years ago, the rough seas still made travel between islands difficult. There is a star which never moves called the pole star.* "Oh, reallyI!" *TN: KANJI SAYS NORTH STAR. The sea creatures themselves were coming together in jubilation! "Wow!!" "And it wasn't just fishmen and merfolk around!!" "In their country, a prince was born by the name of Neptune..." "Their people carry the blood of the ocean..." "Yep, it's about time. I even saw mermaids!" "King Harald! You met the fishmenI!" A woman with long hair reaches out excitedly. "Let me get a good look at my son's face!" "His name is Loki... I spoke with the king about it." Explosions and cheers erupt as the castle is shown. "Congratulations, my queen!!" "It's a healthy baby boy!" A caption reads: 63 years ago. Ouest Castle, Elbaf. While Harald was overseas...

The newborn prince's massive head appears with horns, wide eyes, and an enormous open mouth as he cries loudly. "HUK..." "!!!" "オギャア" "オギャア" A cloaked figure stands before shocked onlookers. "Your Highness, please calm down!!" "This thing can't possibly be mine!!" "It's freaking me out!! What is thatI!" "Y-your HighnessI!" "GYAAAHHH!! IT'S HORRID!!" The king stares in horror. "It's cursed!! Just look at it!! It's a monster!!" "AAAAHH!!" "This is utterly unacceptable!!" "Tell the king it was a stillbirth..."

Tears fall as small hands reach upward. "No one was there to take those small hands in theirs." "あ..." "あ..." "When the prince of Elbaf stretched his arms into the air..." "...Are those rejected from birth by their own mother..." "...Unfortunate souls..." "It is said that the most..." "Your Highness, stop this!!" "Listen to me. No child was born today!! I forbid you from telling anyone!" "That's the prince!!" "The realm of the dead...I!" "What about itI!" "It's coming from the realm of the dead...!!" "Your Highness!! Captain!!" "I'm returning to my village. I never want to give birth again..." "Where are you goingI"
