High in the cloudy skies of Upper Yard, massive sound effects rumble across the heavens as "ゴオオオオオオ" echoes. A voice firmly states, "GO BY YOURSELF." Another replies in surprise, "WHATI YOU WANT ME TO GO WITH YOU...I" A third voice adds, "DON'T BE A BABY." Below, the scene shifts to a dense, rocky forest clearing. A spiky-haired man with a scar sits with eyes closed, looking calm. Nearby, a man in a black top hat lies sprawled on the ground beside a broken staff and scattered debris. A large, furry creature with a long snout lies collapsed, a stream of liquid pouring from its mouth. In the next panels, several figures rest inside a makeshift camp. One character snores loudly with "*SNORT*" and "ZZZZZZZZZZZ" while lying on a blanket. Another panel shows a person with a striped hat sleeping under a cloth, marked by "ZZZ~". The mysterious vessel vibrates violently at the bottom of the page amid the continuing roar.

Usopp's face fills the frame, eyes bulging and mouth stretched wide in terror as he screams "G... GH..." Sweat pours down his cheeks. A massive vertical scream "ああああああああああ" erupts across the cloudy sky above a forested cliff. Below, a tiny figure plummets from the heights. A voice remarks, "AND THEN JUST FALLING ASLEEP HERE... BLEH..." Another continues, "TELLING ME HE WAS GOING TO TAKE A LEAK..." Zoro stands with a grim expression, sweat on his brow, and wonders, "WHAT WAS HE THINKING...I"

A furious bald man glares with clenched teeth, growling "NNNN MNNNN... MNNNNN MNNNN!!!" and "WE... NMNN NMNNNN ~I!!" while shouting "HEY..." and "HEY!!" in overlapping balloons. A colossal black-winged figure with a spider-like mask crashes through the battlefield, shattering structures and sending multiple warriors flying amid explosive impact lines. Swords and debris scatter as cries ring out: "WOO...", "GU AH...", "YEE HAA!!" One downed fighter groans while another is hurled backward. In the next panels the attacker presses forward with a rolling weapon, laughing wildly "YEEHA, HAHA HAHA HA!!" as more figures tumble and "RI!" and "YEEHA, HAHA HAHA HA!!" echo across the ruined temple grounds.

A winged man kneels before Enel on the grand balcony, protesting loudly. "WHAT A BAD JOKE... TSK... WHAT DID YOU SAY!I DID YOU CALL US HERE JUST TO TELL US TRASH LIKE THATI" Enel lounges on his massive pillow, eyes half-closed, and declares with a booming voice, "GOD!!! I AM..." Below, attendants and winged figures react in shock as Enel continues, "YEHAHAHAHA, I WAS BORED! COME. SIT! YOU DON'T SEEM TO BE TAKING THOSE CITIZENS OF THE BLUE SEA SERIOUSLY... DID YOU KNOW THAT THEIR TARGET IS THE GOLDI" Enel stretches lazily, "YOU NEED TO TRAIN! YOU ARE STILL NOT STRONG ENOUGH! I'M RIGHT HERE. CAN'T YOU SEEI" A large sign reads "GOD OF SKYPIEA, 'ENEL'". In a smaller panel, a character questions, "THIS ISLAND CAME FROM THE BLUE SEA LONG AGO. SO THERE'S NOTHING STRANGE ABOUT SOMEONE FROM THE BLUE SEAS KNOWING ABOUT IT. GOLD~~~~!I HOW DO THEY KNOW ABOUT THE GOLD...!I YOU DON'T WANT TO BE FAILURES LIKE SATORI, DO YOUI"

Enel sits with his back to the grand temple marked with the character for "god", surrounded by winged attendants. He commands, "CANCEL ALL THE RULES. DO WHATEVER YOU WANT! IT DOESN'T MATTER WHERE OR WHAT TRIALS YOU SET UP." A voice questions, "WHY THE SUDDEN CHANGE...I" Enel continues, "~~~THUS, FOR TOMORROW, ALL OF UPPER YARD WILL BE OPENED TO ALL OF YOU. SHANDIA WILL ALSO ATTACK AGAIN... THEY WILL UNDOUBTEDLY START ACTION TOMORROW..." Close-ups show Enel's intense face as he states, "TO A DREAM WORLD. AND LET US DEPART." Nearby figures discuss, "HURRY AND TIE UP ALL THE LOOSE ENDS. 'MAXIM,' THAT IS... THAT IS BECAUSE IT'S ALMOST COMPLETED."

Usopp's face fills the panel in shock, eyes wide and mouth open as he yells, "IT WASN'T A DREAM AFTER ALL!!" and "LOOK!!! I TOLD YOU! SOMEBODY WAS HERE BEFORE!!" The crew stares at the Going Merry, now fully repaired with new parts, banners, and decorations. A large caption reads "SOMEONE FIXED THE GOING MERRY...!!" In the lower section the Straw Hats gather on the deck. Zoro stands with arms crossed, saying "...CONSIDERING WHERE WE ARE, WHO COULD IT HAVE BEENI" Sanji adds, "...I THOUGHT IT WAS SOME KINDA GHOST...." Nami notes, "SO THERE ARE STILL GOOD PEOPLE IN THIS WORLD." Usopp replies nervously, "SORRY TO SAY THIS, BUT THEY WEREN'T VERY GOOD AT IT..." while Chopper looks on. Nami finishes, "YUP... EVEN THE BROKEN MAST WAS RE-ATTACHED." Zoro concludes, "IN THIS PLACE, THERE SHOULDN'T BE ANYONE WHO'S FRIENDLY."

Usopp questions Luffy, "KNOW WHAT GOING MERRY ORIGINALLY LOOKED LIKEI THAT IT DIDN'T HAVE THE CHICKEN CROWN OR WINGS." Luffy sits on the railing, replying, "HOW COULD THE GUY WHO FIXED OUR SHIP..." and "I'VE BEEN THINKING ABOUT THAT, TOO." Usopp continues, "OH! THE SHIP IS NOT IN FLIGHT MODE ANYMORE, USOPP." The crew scrambles as Usopp shouts, "YEAH! GET THE ROPES!" and "HOW DID HE KNOWI" Luffy declares, "HEY, WE NEED TO MOVE THE SHIP DOWN. LUFFY... THAT'S THE ONE TASK THAT I WILL NEVER ASSIGN TO YOU." He then assigns roles: "OKAY~!!! I'LL DISTRIBUTE THE FOOD!! ESCAPE TEAM, FINISH UP WHAT WE WERE DOING LAST NIGHT! EXPLORE TEAM, GET READY FOR ADVENTURE! ALRIGHT! TIME TO MOVE OUT, YOU LAZY BUMS!" "HUH!!I" "SHE WANTS TO GET GOLD SO BADLY, YET SHE ISN'T WILLING TO RISK HER LIFE FOR ITI" "SO STRANGE!!" Luffy grins and retorts, "HUHI YOU KEEP SAYING 'GOLD THIS' AND 'GOLD THAT,' BUT IN THE END, YOU'RE NOT GOING TO GET THE GOLD YOURSELFI" "DUH. IT'S SCARY." The group agrees on the next steps: "THEN THE TEAMS WILL MEET AT THE SHORE AND LEAVE THIS SKY ISLAND! THEREAFTER WE WILL BE KNOWN AS 'THE RICH PIRATES', AND WE CAN BUY ANYTHING WE WANT!" A large panel shows the map again with the hand pointing south. "ANYWAY, AT THE SAME TIME, WE WILL NAVIGATE GOING MERRY THROUGH THE ISLAND, WHICH IS VERY DANGEROUS, TOO. WE WILL LAND ON SHORE AS CLOSE TO THE RUIN AS POSSIBLE." The word "SKYPIEA" dominates the center of the map.

High above the clouds, the Straw Hats stand on a cliff overlooking the vast island. "LET'S ALL MEET AGAIN SAFELY ON THE EASTERN SHORE!!!" "'CAUSE WE'RE ON TOP OF THE CLOUDS" "THE WEATHER IS NICE TODAY!" "LOOK!" "YEAH~~~~!!!" A massive double-page spread erupts with energy as the crew strikes dynamic poses. Sanji adjusts his goggles and shouts, "ALRIGHT!!!" Zoro, Nami, and the others raise fists in excitement. Luffy leaps forward with arms outstretched, yelling "LET'S GO!!!" Chopper cheers wildly, "AAAAAH!!!!" Robin smiles confidently in the background while Usopp pumps his fist. Motion lines and bold sound effects fill the panel as the crew charges ahead, ready to begin their descent into Skypiea.
