Open, Chinjao

Chinjao is hurled through the air by a massive strike, the impact creating clouds of debris as someone yells "SMASH THAT LEGEND!!!". In the next sequence Chinjao crashes into the arena floor with a "CRUNCH", shouting "NUUUU!!" while the attacker presses the assault. A close-up shows Chinjao glaring fiercely. Below, an armored fighter with a white beard roars "YOU THINK I'M GONNA LOSE TO YOU!I" as Chinjao snarls back "HIYAHOHO YOU'VE GOT SPUNK!!" and "AAH..." amid the fierce exchange.

Spectators in the stands comment on the fight: "BUT WE SURE CAN FEEL THEIR IRON WILLS!!", "THE COMBATANTS ARE ALREADY MOVING TOO FAST FOR ME TO SEE WHAT'S GOING ON!!", "WHAT A WILD ONE-ON-ONE!!", and "GIVE IT YOUR ALL, CHINJAO!! GO, LUCY!". A wide view of the Colosseum shows Chinjao and Lucy facing off amid the crowd's roar. Chinjao declares "YOU'VE NO HOPE." while narration notes the intensity since the arena's founding. Chinjao continues his tirade: "WHITEBEARD IS GONE, AND NOW WE'VE COME TO THE NEXT AGE...!!!! YOU'LL NEVER SURPASS THE SEA THAT WE FOUGHT OVER!!! YOU OF THE 'WORST GENERATION' ARE NOTHING BUT A BUNCH OF LAUGHABLY OVER-CONFIDENT BRATS!!"

Chinjao looms over Lucy, growling "YOUR STRENGTH IS STILL FAR TOO LACKING TO EVEN DREAM OF BEARING YOUR FANGS AT ME." Lucy reacts with shock "BLACKBEARD!I" as Chinjao continues "IS THAT GUY, 'BLACKBEARD' TEACH. THE ONLY ONE WHO'S PUT ON MUCH OF A SHOW AT ALL...". Chinjao presses on: "A MAN LIKE RAYLEIGH MUST HAVE LOST IT IF HIS IDEA OF A REPRESENTATIVE FOR THE NEW GENERATION IS A BRAT SUCH AS YOURSELF!! THE MARINES HAD JUST THE RIGHT IDEA, TWO YEARS AGO... GIVE UP ON BEING A PIRATE!!" He roars "YOU THINK YOU CAN SURPASS ROGER!I HOW UTTERLY RIDICULOUS!! YOU THINK YOU STAND A CHANCE AGAINST THE ADMIRALS AND THE EMPERORS!I" while a small panel shows a wide-eyed reaction and the sound effect "チーン!!".

Luffy rockets forward with a powerful Gomu Gomu no Rocket, slamming into Chinjao’s head and sending shockwaves through the air. “GOMU GOMU NO!! ROCKET!!!” Chinjao’s eyes bulge from the impact. From the stands, a voice cries, “LUCY HAS...!! HE’S JUMPED!!” Chinjao, unfazed, glares upward and roars, “JUST TRY ME. YES, RECEIVE YOUR BAPTISM! AND WHAT A JUMP IT IS!!!” His massive form tenses as he channels decades of fury. “ALL MY RESENTMENT... EVERYTHING I’VE GOT, IN ONE ATTACK!!! PREPARE YOURSELF, STRAWHAT!!! MY 30 YEAR GRUDGE AGAINST GARP...” The ice beneath them cracks violently under the pressure.

Chinjao’s drill-like head slams into the frozen ground. “OPEN, CHINJAO!” he bellows as the attack is named “DRILLING DRAGON AUGER SPIKE!!” The ice shatters outward in a massive explosion of debris and smoke. His subordinates watch in awe, one noting, “OUR FIRES DON’T MELT IT AND OUR AXES CAN’T SHATTER IT!!” Another wonders, “HOW STRANGE... HOW’D THIS ICE GET LIKE THISI” They realize the continent is called the Icy Treasure Bed, and the pirate treasure lies directly beneath. Chinjao focuses all his power into a single point to crack it open.

Thirty years earlier, a younger Chinjao stands triumphantly before his crew. “HAPPO PIRATE NAVY’S 12TH LEADER, ‘CHINJAO THE AUGER’ (30 YEARS EARLIER)” is displayed. He laughs wildly, “HIYAHOHOHO!!” His men tie up treasure thieves and prepare to throw them into the sea. Chinjao declares, “WITHIN THIS ICY PIT LIES MY LIFE’S WORK!! EVERYTHING I’VE ENDURED IN THE PAST AND ALL MY HOPES FOR THE FUTURE!! AND MY ‘AUGER HEAD’ IS THE ONLY KEY TO UNLOCK IT ALL!! HUNDREDS OF YEARS’ WORTH OF TREASURE, AMASSED BY OUR CLAN!! NOT ANOTHER SOUL CAN GET IN!!”

In the flashback, Chinjao continues, “THERE’S NOTHING IN THIS WORLD HARDER THAN MY HEAD!!! HIYAHO!! WELL IT WAS ALL FOR NOTHING!!!” He trained relentlessly, “I PUT ASIDE THE PUNCHING BAG AND TRAINED BY REDUCING EIGHT MOUNTAINS TO DUST! OI, CHINJAO, AS PREPARATION FOR CRACKING OPEN YOUR SKULL...” The scene shifts to a fierce confrontation. Garp appears, shouting, “PREPARE YOURSELF, CHINJAO!!” Chinjao roars back with burning hatred, “I’LL BREAK EVEN THAT BELOVED HEAD-SPLITTING FIST OF YOURS!!! GARP!!!” Their fists clash violently in mid-air.

Chinjao reels from a brutal series of strikes, eyes bulging and mouth twisted in agony. "OHHH!!I" "OHHHHH!!!" "NUUU... AHHH!!!" he cries as impact stars and motion lines explode around his head. A massive black fist slams into him with a huge "バン", sending his body twisting violently through the air. Chinjao counters with a spinning kick, his drill-shaped head flashing as he roars and drives his opponent back amid shattering debris and crossed impact marks. The two fighters clash in a whirlwind of punches and blocks, Chinjao's face locked in a furious grimace while his foe presses the assault.

At sea, ships rock violently in the waves. "ALL SHIPS, RETREAT!" a crewman shouts. "DISPERSE!!!" another yells as the fleet scatters. On the rocky shore, Chinjao's subordinates rush to their fallen boss. "BOSS!! THANK GOD YOU'RE OKAY!!" one cries while another screams "BOSS!!!" Chinjao rises, bloodied but defiant, and unleashes his technique. "DRILLING DRAGON AUGER SPIKE!!!" he bellows. The ground erupts in a massive explosion of rock and dust as he drives his drill head downward. "OPEN, CHINJAO!!!" echoes repeatedly amid the chaos, his men still calling "BOSS!" in panic.

Chinjao strains desperately, face contorted and bleeding. "IT WON'T OPEN...!!!!" he gasps, sweat flying. His men plead, "PLEASE BOSS, JUST STOP!! YOU'RE KILLING YOURSELF!" and "OPEN... CHIN... JAO..." In a vision of his life's work, a vast treasure map spreads before him with the words "MY WHOLE LIFE'S WORK!! MY GREAT FORTUNE!!!!" and "WHAT DO I DO..." Chinjao collapses to his knees, roaring in anguish. "I CURSE YOU!!!" A massive speech bubble declares, "EVEN UNTIL OUR GRANDCHILDREN'S GENERATION... I WON'T FORGIVE YOU, GARP!!! THIS IS UNFORGIVABLE, GARP!!!"

Chinjao continues his bitter recollection. "SO I ABANDONED PIRACY!!! MY STRENGTH WAS GONE, MY FORTUNE LOST, AND MY HEART BROKEN....!!!" he growls through gritted teeth. The scene shifts to the colosseum. "BEHOLD, GARP..." a voice intones. A helmeted fighter stares in shock. "AM I HAL-LUCINATING!!I IS THAT... WHAT IS THAT!I" The crowd erupts in panic. In the arena below, a massive arm swings with tremendous force. "LUCY'S ARM... SEEMS TO HAVE BECOME THAT OF A GIANT!!!" someone shouts as the blow lands with a thunderous impact, sending shockwaves across the battlefield.

Chinjao glares furiously, shouting, "I'VE TAKEN MORE OF THOSE PUNCHES THAN I CAN COUNT!!! WHAT THEI JUST ONEI ATONE!!! WITH JUST ONE PUNCH TO THE HEAD, YOUR GRANDFATHER STOLE AWAY EVERYTHING I HAD!!!" Luffy launches a powerful strike, declaring "HASS-HOUKEN HIDDEN TECHNIQUE!!" as the impact sends shockwaves. Chinjao roars back, "EVEN THE MARROW IN YOUR BONES WILL BE GROUND DOWN TO DUST!!" Luffy counters with "NON-DRILLING DRAGON!!" while Chinjao yells "THOR....!!" and Luffy finishes "GOMU GOMU NO!!" The clash creates a massive explosion of force and debris.

Chinjao reels from the blow, his face twisted in pain as "BONG!" rings out. Luffy presses the attack with "NON-AUGER SPIKE!!!!" Chinjao is slammed violently, his body cracking through barriers. Luffy unleashes "ELEPHANT GUN!!!!!" The devastating punch sends Chinjao flying backward amid shattering debris and impact lines.

The colosseum crowd erupts in shock, screaming "EHHHHHHH!!!!" as the arena shakes. Chinjao is hurled through the air, crashing into the stone structure with "CRACK CRACK CRUNCH!" He tumbles violently across the battlefield, sending up clouds of dust and rubble while spectators react in horror.

The audience continues to yell "EHHHHHH!!!!" in disbelief. Chinjao plummets into the water below with a massive "SPLASH!!" and "TCHH!" Luffy and nearby fighters react urgently: "GRAMPS!" "GRAND-FATHER!!" "HE'S... OUT OF BOUNDS!" Chinjao surfaces amid the waves as the arena floor cracks and water floods in.

In the roaring arena, Gladiator Lucy stands triumphant with arms raised high, cape billowing, as the crowd erupts. Narration declares: "THE ONE WHO BROUGHT TO HEEL THE FIERCE BATTLE OF C-BLOCK... GLADIATOR LUCY!!!" Spectators shout, "WHAT A MAN!! TO DEFEAT SUCH A LEGEND!" Lucy yells, "ALRIGHT!!!" Massive sound effects shake the colosseum with "わあああ" and a heavy landing impact "ド". In close-up, Lucy beams with joy, sweat flying, as an unseen voice cheers, "FOR LUCY TO HAVE MADE IT THIS FAR!!" Another figure with goggles reacts nearby with "ばん!!" while Lucy laughs wildly, "NISSH-ISS H-ISS HI!!" The page ends with the chapter credit "ONE PIECE CH. 719 END".

Cavendish grips his weapon and snarls, "WELL, COME ON BACK NOW. YOU WON'T GET AWAY THIS TIME, STRAWHAT....!!!" while muttering about hating the endless cheering for "Lucy". In a massive close-up, a wild-eyed man bursts into laughter: "HOW INTERESTING!!! SO THAT'S HOW IT IS!!! WEE-HHAH-HAHAHA!" Text notes, "BURGESS HAS REALIZED!!"
