In the arena, a giant black impact crashes down as Hajrudin is sent flying. A voice exclaims, “...HE'S...!! HE'S NOT EVEN MOVING AN INCH!!” Another declares, “WITH- OUT A DOUBT, THIS FORMER CANDIDATE TO WIN IT ALL, HAJRUDIN...!!!” A narrator shouts, “HE BROUGHT DOWN THE GIANT WARRIOR IN ONE HIT!!! LUFFY'S POWER IS OVER- WHELMING!!!” The crowd erupts with “YOU'RE AMAZING, LUCY!!!” as the announcer yells, “THERE'S JUST NO STOPPING THE EXCITEMENT AND ANTICIPATION AT THIS POINT!! THIS IS ABSOLUTELY A STUNNING UPSET!! HAS BEEN ELIMINATED!!!” A small “ズゴッ!! HUP” sound effect punctuates the action.

Lucy stands triumphant as the crowd roars “LUCY HAS DONE IT AGAIN!!” and “AT THE EYE OF THE STORM THAT'S DESCENDED ONTO C-BLOCK!!” An ally offers, “I'LL CARRY YOU OVER TO THE EDGE, LUCY.” Spectators react in shock: “THAT HE WOULD BE THIS STRONG...” “I CAN'T BELIEVE IT...” “WE STILL CAN'T EVEN GET A MEASURE ON THIS MAN!!” “HMPH” “WELL OF COURSE HE HAS”. A fighter warns, “IF YOU'RE GONNA SLEEP, DO IT SOME- WHERE ELSE!!” while another calls out “THIS IS THE RING...” “OI, OI, GIANT...” The arena erupts with “LUCY!!” and large SFX “わああああ” as the crowd cheers wildly.

C-Block remains chaotic as a voice notes, “C-BLOCK IS STILL CRAWLING WITH SOME REAL MONSTERS!!” “NO, THAT WAS NO EXPLOSION!!...EVEN IF HAJRUDIN IS OUT...” Ideo launches a devastating punch, his shoulders smoking, labeled “TRIPLE X RANK-BOXER: DEMOLITION CANNON IDEO”. Beside him, a close-up reveals a fierce glare as the same man declares, "SO I'LL BE EATING THAT MERA MERA NO MI!!" and "I WANT TO BE STRONGER." Below, the crowded Corrida Colosseum erupts as an unseen announcer yells, "THIS GANG OF THREE!! AND THEY'VE GOT A DIFFERENT FLAVOR ALTOGETHER!!" and "THEY'VE COME FROM THE FAR EAST NATION OF KANOKUNI!" Other voices add, "THERE ARE SOME OTHERS WHO'VE GOTTEN OUR ATTENTION!!" and "FURTHERMORE." In the arena floor, armored guards clash violently; one is struck hard with a loud "UGH" and "ば" as a cloaked fighter spins a massive weapon. The announcer continues, "TO THINK THAT THIS IS THE DAY THAT OUR FAIR COLOSSEUM... WOULD GET TO SEE SUCH RENOWNED KENPO USERS IN ACTION!!"

Sai, the Kanokuni gang member and 13th Commander of the Happo Navy, lunges forward with a long staff, roaring "TSUAA!!" and "HOW FUTILE!!" as he smashes through armored opponents. The narration states, "THERE IT IS!!! DEFENSES ARE USELESS AGAINST THE FINELY MANIPULATED ATTACKS OF HASSHOKEN!!" and "NEITHER SHIELDS NOR ARMOR WORK AGAINST THESE GUYS!!!" Guards are sent flying amid shattering armor and impact effects while the crowd reacts with shock. Sai's powerful strike dominates the panel as the fight intensifies inside the colosseum ring.

Don Chinjao, the massive former 12th Commander of the Happo Navy, towers over the arena with hands clasped, growling, "YOU'LL HAVE TO TRY ANOTHER TIME, GREENHORNS!!" His devastating strike sends multiple fighters sprawling amid dust and debris as spectators scream "UOHH HHHHH HH!!" and "OWAH HHHHH HHH!!!" On the right, Boo, the Kanokuni gang member and vice commander, clashes fiercely with a spiked club, yelling "HOA!!" while the narration boasts, "THE MIGHT OF THE HAPPOU NAVY" and "INDEED, NO ONE CAN STAND UP TO THEM!!" A fallen fighter is struck with large SFX "ガシャン!! ドゴォ ドゴォ レェサァ!!!" as the crowd panics. Chinjao is warned, "TAKING YOUR HEAD, CHINJAO... WILL BE MUCH MORE MEANINGFUL THAN WINNING ANY TOURNAMENT!!"

Spectators react in awe, noting, "WELL DUH... HE WAS ONCE A LEGENDARY PIRATE WITH A BOUNTY OF 500 MIL!!" and "THAT WAS CONQUEROR'S HAKI!!!" In the stands, a small figure is struck and lies dazed. Below, bounty hunter Jean Ango, "Jean the Bandit," crouches amid scattered weapons, declaring, "DEDEDEDE!! THANKS A LOT, CHINJAO! NOW I'VE GOT ALL THE WEAPONS I WANT!!" while thinking, "HOLD UP, YOU BASTARD!!" and "THERE'S ONLY ONE MAN I WANT!! DON'T GET IN MY WAY...!!" He grips a sword as chaos continues around him in the colosseum.

A massive fighter in ornate armor and a wide hat looms over the arena as narration reveals his identity. "HE'S A BOUNTY HUNTER WHO'S EARNED THE HATRED OF ALL THE BIG NAME PIRATES THROUGHOUT THE NEW WORLD!!" another voice cries, "IT'S 'JEAN THE BANDIT'!!" The crowd notes, "THIS TOURNAMENT'S DARK HORSE IS FIGHTING FOR WEAPONS IN THE RING!" and "WITHOUT FALLING TO DON CHINJAO'S WILL..." Jean spots his target and declares, "NOW THAT I'VE SPOTTED YOU, YOU'RE FINISHED!!" In a lower panel a sniper-like fighter with a massive weapon retorts, "THESE WEAPONS I'VE PICKED UP ARE MY 'BULLETS'" and "I'M A SNIPER...!!" He warns, "YOU SENT A BUDDY OF MINE TO THE SLAMMER! I'LL NEVER FORGET THAT!!" A brutal strike follows with "UWAH HHHHH HHH!!" as the sniper is sent flying. Another voice challenges, "IF YOUR PRECIOUS FRIEND REALLY WENT TO PRISON, THEN SHOW A BIT MORE METTLE AND GO GET HIM!! LIKE THAT ONE IDIOT DID, TWO YEARS AGO!!"

The brutal exchange continues with heavy impacts and "RAHH!!" The large fighter keeps pummeling his opponent despite the crowd's shock. Spectators yell, "WHY DOES HE JUST KEEP PUNCHING!I" and "OI!! HE'S ALREADY LOST CONSCIOUSNESS!!" A close-up shows the battered fighter's face twisted in pain amid flying debris and motion lines. Another panel captures the crowd's horror with "KYAH HHHHH HHH!!" A new voice shouts desperately, "OI, CUT IT OUT, BRO!! HE'S ALREADY DONE FOR!!" while the relentless attacker continues his assault with repeated strikes and "RARARARA RARARAH!!"

The defeated fighter is held up as a massive man in a black hat and coat appears. "UWAH HHHHH HHH!!" echoes while a voice says, "AH I WAS HOLDING HIM FOR YOU." The large man growls, "ENOUGH ALREADY!!" A caption declares, "ASSASSINS FROM THE MOGARO KINGDOM: THE FUNK BROTHERS." One brother laughs, "HAH... HAH!!" The other retorts, "NOT AT ALL, BRO. YOU'RE REAL BIG" and taunts, "HEY, BOBBY, YOU THINK I'M SHRIMPY!I HUH, DO YA!I" The reply comes, "THAT BASTARD CALLED ME A SHRIMP!!" They clash violently with "COME ON NOW, BRO!!" and "AH!! I WAS HOLDING HIM DOWN FOR YOU!!" as one yells, "TRY SAYIN' SOMETHING NOW, YOU OCTOPUS!!"

Close-ups identify the brothers: "OLDER BROTHER: KELLY FUNK" snarls, "NEXT TIME I'LL GOUGE OUT YOUR DAMN EYES!!" while "YOUNGER BROTHER: BOBBY" answers, "BUT THIS IS A MATCH, BRO!! AND YOU CAME OVER TO STOP ME, DIDN'T YOU BOBBY!!" A fighter in a spotted helmet observes, "TO EVEN TAKE DOWN PIRATES WITH BOUNTIES OVER 100 MLN!!! IT'S SAID THAT THEY'RE STRONG ENOUGH" and notes, "IT'S THE EXCESSIVELY VIOLENT FUNK BROTHERS!!" From the stands someone remarks, "ALL THESE NOISY GUYS... JUST HOW MANY STREET FIGHTERS AND BOXERS ARE THEREI WITHOUT ANY FORMAL TRAINING" while another adds, "THEY'RE A PAIR OF KILLERS KNOWN BY ALL INVOLVED IN THE UNDERWORLD!!" A background figure reacts with "HUHI I'M LOOKING AT YOU!!"

A massive clash erupts in the arena as one fighter swings a spiked club with a loud FWISH. The long-haired warrior roars, "HEY!! SHRIMP!!" while his opponent bellows "BOGEH HHHHHH HHHH!!" in pain. Below, the crowd panics. One spectator yells "GATS-SAN!!" as another laments, "NO... OR MAYBE IT'S JUST THAT THAT HAPPOLI NAVY'S BOO IS TOO STRONG...!!!" A narrator box declares, "WHAT A FAILURE TO LIVE UP TO EXPECTATIONS!! WHERE'S THE IMPRESSIVE FIGHTER WE WERE PROMISED!! WHAT A FOOL!" Shocked faces fill the stands as someone cries "EH!!I" and another shouts "BIG BRO!!" while a third adds "SO WEAK!!"

The fight intensifies as the long-haired fighter is slammed down with a heavy impact. Voices from the stands yell, "HE'S BACK!!! THESE BROTHERS ARE THE WORST!!" and "I'VE NEVER EVEN FOUGHT ONCE!!" The downed man protests, "WAIT, I WON'T FIGHT!! SINCE I WAS BORN..." while his brother taunts, "YOU TOO, LITTLE BROTHER!!" A close-up shows the axe breaking with the words "THE AXE BROKE..." and "WHAT A RIDICULOUSLY TOUGH BODY... BUT I HAD IMBUED IT WITH ARMAMENT HAKI!!!" Later panels show the fallen fighter muttering "BIG BRO..." and "TH... THAT BASTARD... HE CALLED ME A SHRIMP...!!!"

The arena erupts in shock as the crowd screams "BOO!!", "!!I", "WHAT IN THE WORLD IS HAPPENING HERE!!I", "EH!!I" and "KYAH HHHHH HHH!!" A massive impact SFX "ドゴォォォォ" fills the page while the announcer shouts, "RARA RARARA RARAH!! KANOKUNI'S BOO HAS BEEN BEATEN TO A PULP!!! HE'S ALREADY LOST CONSCIOUSNESS!!" The narration continues, "THE ONE PUNCHING IS...!I THE FEEBLE YOUNGER BROTHER, BOBBY!!I NO! THE WEAKLING OLDER BROTHER, KELLY!I" Bobby stands victorious, roaring, "AND I'LL RIP OUT THAT THROAT OF YOURS!! NOW WHO'S THE SHRIMPI JUST TRY SAYIN' THAT AGAIN...!!!"

Elsewhere in the stands, a cloaked figure identified as Lucy reacts as a voice calls out, "OI, GIVE THAT BACK!!" Another spectator notes, "AND WHAT DO WE HAVE HEREI IT SEEMS THAT LUCY'S HELMET HAS BEEN STOLEN AWAY BY JEAN THE BANDIT!!" A small figure labeled LUCY mutters "HMM!I" while the bandit thinks "DEDE DEDE" and another panel reveals, "THEY SAY THE PIRATE STRAWHAT LUFFY, WITH A BOUNTY OF 400 MLN, HAS INSERTED HIMSELF INTO THIS TOURNAMENT...!!!" In the arena below, Don Chinjao charges forward as a voice remarks, "AND OVER THERE IS DON CHINJAO, CHARGING FORWARD WITH A CLEAR PURPOSE!! IF ONLY YOU COULD SEE THIS, GARP... WHAT I'M ABOUT TO DO TO YOUR GRANDSON...!!!"

The excited announcer roars over the roaring crowd, "AND ONLY THE BIGGEST NAMES ARE EMERGING FROM THE MIX!!" A wide view of the Corrida Colosseum shows the packed stands as the voice continues, "THERE ARE ABOUT 40 FIGHTERS REMAINING IN C-BLOCK!!" Sound effects of the cheering audience fill the air. Luffy stands intense and focused in the center of the chaos. A massive close-up panel erupts with the question "WHO'S GONNA WIN THIS THING!!I" surrounded by impact effects. Below, fierce competitors glare with determination as the narration declares, "A WHITE HOT BURNING BATTLE!!"
