Shichibukai Law Vs. Vice Admiral Smoker

A massive slash cuts through the air with dramatic impact lines and the sound effect "ズバッ..!". Narration declares, "HE SLICED THE LOVELY CAPTAIN IN TWO!!!" Tashigi lies slashed on the ground amid smoke and debris. In the next panel, Tashigi's face shows intense determination as she thinks, "TO BE SLICED DOWN AND YET STILL DRAW BREATH...!!! I AM ASHAMED...!!!" Nearby, a Marine shouts, "TASHIGI-CHAAAN!!" while another exclaims, "SH... SHE'S STILL ALIVE, RIGHTI!!" Smoker, his face stern, tells her, "THEN REMEMBER THIS, LADY MARINE... A PROPER SWORDSMAN AT HEART, ARE YOUI" Law stands ready with his blade as Smoker warns, "IF YOU MUST SLICE ME DOWN, THEN AT LEAST TAKE MY LIFE, TRAFALGAR!!"

Smoker glares intensely, declaring, "DON'T GET TO CHOOSE HOW THEY DIE. THE WEAK..." Tashigi reacts with shock beside him. Law swings his sword in close combat, prompting Smoker to shout, "YOU FIEND!!!" as he blocks. A Marine yells, "YOU'RE NOT GOING TO REACH ME WITH A BLADE LIKE THAT." Enraged subordinates cry out, "WHY, YOU...!!! HOW DARE YOU INSULT OUR LOVELY CAPTAIN LIKE THAT!!!" while Law counters, "I'LL SLICE YOU UP SOME MORE IF THAT'S REALLY WHAT YOU WANT." Explosions and impact effects fill the chaotic battlefield.

Law activates his ability with multiple "SWAP" effects and a "FLIP" motion, his fingers glowing as he manipulates the battlefield. He shouts "SWITCH!!" while switching positions with snow. Marines panic as bullets fly back at them, yelling "BULLETSIII", "AGH HHHHH HHH!!", and "WHAT HAPPENED TO THE BULLETS WE FIRED AT HIMI!" One Marine asks in confusion, "WHY ARE THERE BULLETS COMING AT USI!" Law explains calmly, "I JUST SWITCHED THEM WITH THAT SNOW OVER THERE. THOSE ARE THE BULLETS YOU FIRED." The Marines reel from the redirected attack amid smoke and debris.

Marines panic as Law swings his blade. "RUN FOR IT, CAPTAIN-CHAN!!!" one shouts. Another yells, "THERE'S NO STOPPING THAT GUY'S SWORD ATTACKS!!" A third screams, "GET DOWN!! HE'S GOING TO SWING HIS SWORD AGAIN!!!" while another cries, "WHAT IS THIS GUY, INVINCIBLEI!!" Tashigi watches with wide eyes, sweat on her face. Law's massive blade clashes violently with Smoker's jutte in a massive impact, sending shockwaves and debris flying. Below, G-5 Marines cheer wildly: "SMOKEY YYYYY!!!" and "OH YEAH HHHHHH HHHH!!!" as the clash erupts.

Smoker, wreathed in smoke, glares at Law. Law's massive blade slams into Smoker's jutte with explosive force, sending the Marine flying backward amid smoke and debris. Impact lines and speed effects fill the panel as Smoker is hurled through the air. Nearby Marines react with shock. The fight intensifies with rapid strikes and counters between the Shichibukai and Vice Admiral.

A massive explosion erupts as Law's attack lands, sending Smoker and debris flying. "!!!" Smoker reacts in surprise. In close combat, a Marine voice calls out, "ON THE END OF YOUR JITTE....!!!" Another notes, "THAT MUST BE KAIROU-SEKI." Smoker mutters, "I FEEL A NASTY SORT OF ENERGY..." Law presses the attack with his blade and powers, clashing directly against Smoker in a burst of smoke and force.

The massive battleship structure collapses amid the fight. A Marine screams, "WHOAA AHHHHH HH!!!" as debris rains down. Voices shout, "WE OUGHTTA GET OUTTA HERE!!!" and "WE'RE ONLY GETTING IN THE WAY!!" One Marine yells, "OH, CRAAAP!!! NOW HE'S FALLING UP THE 'CRAZY SCULPTURE'!!!" The narration states, "THE BATTLESHIP'S FALLING RIGHT ON TOP OF US!!!" Panicked G-5 soldiers flee as the wreckage crashes toward them.

Tashigi, helmeted and desperate, yells from the left, "CAPTAIN-CHAN!! WE'RE GETTING YOU OUT OF HERE!" and "WE'RE NO MATCH FOR HIM!!!" Trafalgar Law stands firm in the center panel, hands raised as he activates his power with the word "LIFT" appearing near his gesture. To the right, Vice Admiral Smoker surges forward in a massive burst of smoke, the huge onomatopoeia "ゴウッ!!!" exploding around him. Below, the battlefield erupts in chaos as a massive impact rocks the area with the enormous sound effect "ドゴゴゴゴォ...!!" Debris flies everywhere while voices shout "GET OUT OF HIS CIRCLE!!" and "RUN FOR IT!!!" as figures scramble to escape the widening destruction.

Luffy stares in shock at the distant commotion, muttering "THAT WAS A CRAZY LOUD NOISE..." and wondering "MAYBE IT WAS SANJI AND THE OTHERS...I" The scene shifts to a frantic escape where a massive creature-like form barrels forward carrying several people. Voices overlap in panic: "SUCH HUMILIATION... I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS...", "ALL RIGHT, THEN... JUST RUN FASTER!!", "SHADDUP! I'M NOT SAYING ANYTHING!", and "HEY, CROCODILE! DO YOU REALLY NOT KNOW WHERE OUR FRIENDS AREI" Other lines ring out including "YOU FILTHY THIEVES!!", "I DO FEEL SORRY FOR NAMI AND THE OTHERS IF THEY WERE ABDUCTED IN THE CLOTHES THEY WERE ALREADY WEARING...", "I DO HAVE FEELINGS, YOU KNOW!!", "BROOK, YOU DON'T HAVE ANY SKIN. HOW CAN YOU FEEL COLDI", "THIS CROCO-GUY DOESN'T SEEM VERY COLD.", and "I HOPE THEIR ARMS AND LEGS HAVEN'T FROZEN UP AND SNAPPED OFF." Someone yells "STOP THAT!!" as the group flees through the snowy chaos.

Inside the research facility, alarmed voices echo through the corridors. One figure demands "...!!! WHAT IS THAT FOOL LAW THINKINGI!! HE WAS ONLY SUPPOSED TO DRIVE THEM AWAY!!" while another asks "WHAT SHOULD WE DOI MR. LAW AND SMOKER ARE HAVING AN ALL-OUT BATTLE..." A calm reply comes: "MASTER..." Further along, a masked marine reports "THE CHILDRENI!!! THEY'VE BEEN SEEN BY THE MARINESI!!!" and "...AND THEY RAN INTO THE ENTRANCE...!!!" A thought bubble shows escaped children and pirates from the biscuit room. The marine continues, "IT SEEMS THAT THE ESCAPED PIRATES TOOK THE CHILDREN FROM THE BISCUIT ROOM..." A close-up reveals a sinister face with the internal thought "EVEN IF WE ARE ABLE TO KILL SMOKER, THE MARINES WILL SURELY REALISE SOMETHING IS WRONG...!!!" and the dread "THIS IS WHAT I FEARED THE MOST...!! THIS ISLAND WILL FALL UNDER SUSPICION!!" accompanied by the sound effect "バキン!!"

Harpy Monet lounges in the snowy facility, her large white wings spread wide as she reads a newspaper labeled "HAPPY". She remarks with a small laugh "UFUFU FUFU..." and thinks "...I THOUGHT I'D FIND THOSE PIRATES IN HERE." A spider-like minion clings to her leg, exclaiming "THIS IS THEM, ALL RIGHT..." and demanding "AND WHAT ARE YOU LOUNGING ABOUT FOR, MONEI!!" while a large "bik" sound effect punctuates the moment. A nameplate clearly reads "HARPY Moné" beside her.

A cloaked figure with a scythe stands amid ruins as voices discuss recent events. "...AND BROWNBEARD'S CENTAUR PATROL SQUAD HAVE BOTH BEEN DEFEATED....BUT VEGAPUNK'S DRAGON... OH, YES, I FORGOT TO MENTION... PERHAPS WE SHOULD HAVE BEEN A LITTLE MORE CAREFUL WITH THESE ONES." A shocked voice cries, "WHATI!" A blonde woman with a sly smile continues, "I THOUGHT THEY WERE REMARKABLY STRONG, BUT... THEY'VE NOW MADE THEIR WAY ACROSS THE ISLAND, AND SHOULD SOON REACH THIS FACILITY. A GROUP OF THEM HAD ALREADY INFILTRATED THE BURNING SIDE OF THE ISLAND. IN OTHER WORDS, THE PIRATES FROM THE SHIP YOU ABDUCTED WEREN'T THE ENTIRE CREW..." The scene shifts to a massive wanted poster board displaying the Straw Hat crew. A horrified face gasps, "...THE STRAW HAT PIRATES...I!" Someone replies, "THIS HAS TO BE THE SAME CREW, RIGHTI WELL, LOOK..."

A massive explosion rocks the island as a battleship is torn apart amid flying debris and smoke. "WHATI!" Tashigi clutches her injured body in shock. Panicked marines scream, "CAPTAIN-CHAN! HOW ARE YOU FEELINGI! DID YOUR BODY CONNECT BACK TOGETHER PROPERLYI! THE BATTLESHIP'S SLICED UP INTO A THOUSAND PIECES... HAA... HAA..." A flashback shows Smoker glaring intensely. "NO MATTER WHAT HE MAKES OF HIMSELF... A PIRATE IS STILL A PIRATE!!! TASHIGI!...A PIRATE...IS STILL A PIRATE..." Marines shout, "C - CAPTAIN-CHAN, YOU SHOULDN'T BE MOVING!! I THOUGHT THE SHICHIBUKAI WERE MEANT TO BE ON OUR SIDE!!! THAT DIRTY LITTLE......UGH... HOW DID THINGS END UP LIKE THIS...I! WE CAN'T CONTACT THE OUTSIDE... WE DON'T HAVE A SHIP...!"

Explosions and impacts tear through the facility as a figure is hurled through the air amid smoke and debris. "I'VE NEVER TRUSTED A SINGLE ONE OF YOU SHICHIBUKAI!!!" A man with a cigarette and sunglasses smirks, "PRETTY WISE OF YOU." Another voice questions, "THERE'S SOMEONE ELSE PULLING THE STRINGS, RIGHT...I! SO, WHAT'S THIS PLACE TO YOUI" A hand lifts a small object labeled "LIFT" as massive impacts continue.

Trafalgar Law stands dramatically against a bright sky as massive attacks clash. "WHAT ARE YOU PLOTTING ON THIS ISLANDI!" A figure with a massive weapon swings wildly amid smoke and impact lines. "I COULD ASK YOU THE SAME QUESTION!!!" Law counters with rapid strikes, his sword flashing as the opponent is sent flying. "HAA..." The battle rages with powerful blows and debris scattering everywhere.

Smoker and Law clash violently amid the rocky, smoke-filled terrain. Smoker grits his teeth and growls, "WHAT ARE YOU PEOPLE PLOTTING...I!!" as massive impact lines and debris erupt around them. Law leaps through the air with his sword drawn, landing a powerful strike that sends Smoker reeling. A huge explosion rocks the ground with the sound effect "ボゴォン!!!" Smoker is hurled backward, coughing "HAA" repeatedly. In close-up, Law smirks and declares, "SCALPEL" while activating his ability. He continues, "...UNLESS YOU VENTURE AFIELD A LITTLE, SMOKER..." as his hand glows with the technique. Smoker, partially transformed and on the defensive, retorts, "THERE ARE SOME THINGS YOU CAN'T SEE..."

The brutal exchange continues as Law drives Smoker into the rocky ground with tremendous force, the impact creating a massive crater and dust cloud. Smoker is slammed down hard, his face twisted in pain as he clutches his chest and gasps, "MY HEART...!!!" Law's Room ability activates with visible cube-like effects and the sound "ドゴォン..." Smoker struggles, sweat flying, while Law stands over him holding a small glowing cube containing Smoker's heart. The heart pulses visibly inside the transparent cube as Law examines it. Smoker lies defeated on the ground, breathing heavily with "ハア..." effects surrounding him.

Law stands victorious over the fallen Smoker, who lies amid rubble and smoke. Law coldly states, "I HAVE NO REASON... TO TELL YOU ANYTHING..." as the battlefield settles. Suddenly, voices cry out from the side: "THERE'S SOMEONE OVER THERE!!" and "HEY, LOOK! THIS IS A BATTLE-SHIP!!" A marine spots the scene. Law turns slightly and mutters, "...MISTER STRAW HAT." In the next panel Luffy bursts into view with wide eyes and an enormous grin, shouting "IT'S YOU!!!" while pointing directly at Law. The Straw Hat captain reacts with shock and excitement, "HUHI!" as the background shows the destroyed area and distant figures reacting to the arrival of the Marines.
