The Chance Has Ended

Kalifa stands scorched and breathing hard after Nami's last strike, while the five Nami images remain arranged around her with the Clima-Tact. Nami presses the advantage created by Fata Morgana. The room is still filled with clouds, smoke, and broken furniture, and Kalifa's face shows the first clear sign that she has been forced to take Nami's weather science seriously. The illusion field is no longer a trick for show; it has turned the assassin's certainty into hesitation.

Nami explains why the new Clima-Tact is different: "Unlike the previous 'Clima Tact,' I can get this much power with just a simple 'Thunder Ball'...!! Once I use the next 'great technique'... you'll certainly be defeated!!!" Kalifa asks, "... What kind of a prediction is that...!?" and sneers, "How cheeky...!!!" Nami answers, "It's not a prediction. It's a forecast!!!" She declares the whole room her domain: "I've controlled the humidity and the temperature. I own the weather in this room!!!" The statement turns the battle from a test of strength into a forecast Nami has already calculated.

Kalifa refuses to be impressed. "You are in control of the weather... so what!? 'Rokushiki' is a technique that surpasses the human world!!!" She lunges with "How insolent!!!" and strikes through one Nami image, but the body splashes apart. Kalifa realizes, "This isn't the real body...!?" Nami calmly gives the odds: "The chance of finding the real body today is... 20%." Kalifa mutters, "Ku...!!" The page confirms the battlefield rule: every attack against a Nami has only a one-in-five chance of reaching the real one.

Kalifa attacks again and again through the mirages, but Nami stays ahead. One illusion moves as Nami begins, "Today's weather is..." and then explains the trap: "In a stable atmospheric pressure, small black clouds that contain severe air current... will remain and eventually strike your heart with thunder." Dark clouds gather around the Clima-Tact with "MOKU MOKU." Nami is no longer only hiding behind copies; she is placing storm seeds around Kalifa, turning the assassin's movement through the illusion field into a path toward lightning.

The five Nami forms hold dark clouds and warn, "Please be careful. Your heart might get numb." Kalifa identifies it: "Dark Cloud" and "Tempo!" She remembers, "I managed to protect myself against lightning earlier!! So as long as I don't get caught off-guard..." and concludes, "Your weakness with that kind of protection... is that you cannot move...!!" She answers with her own wide attack: "You seem to underestimate me quite a lot... Are you expecting me to just receive your attack like that? 'Soap Sheep'!!!" A huge sheep-shaped mass of bubbles surges forward.

Kalifa refuses to guess which Nami is real. "I don't have to guess which one is the real body!!" she says. "I'll just swallow everything with a big wave of 'Relax Hour'!!!" Her attack rises into "Hitsuji-Gumo Tidal Wave"!!! The bubble wave towers over all five Namis and rolls across the ruined room. Nami understands the danger: "I'll be finished if I get caught by that!!!" Kalifa states the method: "Whoever is left after I swallow all of you... has to be the real body!!"

Nami counters the tidal wave with wind: "Cyclone Tempo"!!! The gale tears through the soap wave and blows the bubbles apart. Kalifa sees it immediately: "...!! She blew away the bubbles with wind!!!" But the failed bubble wave gives Nami the information she needed. She looks across the cleared room and says, "... But thanks to that, I now know who the 'real body' is!" The mirage game ends because Kalifa's own wide attack has revealed which figure the bubbles truly interacted with.

Kalifa strikes with "Shigan"!!! and hits what she thinks is Nami, only for it to burst. "... My. I thought it was an illusion again," she says, then warns, "I will not let you go. You'll end up... looking as if you stirred up a hornet's nest." Nami, hidden in the weather pattern, answers from the black cloud setup: "Haa...!! Haa...!! You... forgot already, huh...? You should listen carefully... to a navigator's forecast." The room crackles as she says, "The thunder that gushes out... from black cloud to the Clima Tact. From earlier...!!! Come!!!"

Nami's forecast becomes a strike: "Thunder-Lance Tempo"!!!! The lightning gathers along the Clima-Tact and pierces through Kalifa in a single focused blast. Kalifa reacts with "!!?" while Nami's voice cuts through the storm: "No matter how strong you are, my forecasts will never be wrong!!!" The attack lands not because Nami overpowers CP9, but because she has forced Kalifa into a weather pattern she fully understands.

Kalifa crashes down, defeated, and the room finally settles around the shattered floor and fading clouds. Nami stands over the battlefield, battered and breathing, and thinks of the people still waiting: "My nakama are waiting for me!!" She declares the goal of the fight: "I'll take the key!!!" Nearby, outside the tower, Franky is still dealing with the monster form of Chopper and calls out, "Deer-Gorilla---!!! Where are you---!?" The victory over Kalifa solves one crisis and immediately reveals the next.

Franky appears in the wreckage and Nami asks, "Eh!? Franky!? Why did you come from there?" Franky answers casually, "Ah, girlie. Didn't your monster deer gorilla come here?" Nami corrects him, "Deer...!? Chopper? Yes, he came!! What is that!? What happened to Chopper!?" She admits, "I don't know! I've never seen him like that!" Franky says, "I see. I thought you guys knew how to take care of that!! I guess I'll just have to strangle him, then." Nami, holding the Number 2 key, says, "By the way...!! You did a good job here; you defeated this woman! Her key is important!! It's the number 2 key!!" Franky panics, "Key! Key! Geez, where did she hide it!?" and Nami answers, "Key... Hold on, I was just looking for it." She is embarrassed enough to say, "I... I'll never say such a thing ever again!!"

Chopper's monster form reappears outside the broken tower, and Nami cries, "Uwaah--!! Stop!!!" Zoro sees the same terrifying shape and asks, "Hey!! Is that really Chopper?! How come he's not recognizing us!?" Nami answers, "I don't know, but he's Chopper, all right. With that hat and antlers, who else could he be!?" The huge body looms over Zoro and the others, roaring "BUDOOOH," while the tower continues to crack around them. The problem is no longer whether Chopper is there; it is whether anyone can stop him before he destroys friend and enemy alike.

Sogeking notices the key and asks, "The number 2 key!? ... Then what about our 'hope,'" but the crisis cuts him off. Zoro says, "... But something's wrong with him...!! His vitality seems to be decreasing drastically..." Sogeking panics, "Wh-what, what do you mean?" Zoro points at Chopper's condition: "Isn't he the one... who looks like he's about to die...!!?" Franky guesses, "Maybe he's using too much energy to stay in that form...!! If we let him stay like that, he will collapse at any time...!!" Sogeking asks, "What the heck...? What should we do, then!?" Meanwhile Kaku and Jyabura, seeing the interruption, remain focused on the larger danger. Kaku says, "What an interruption... What is that monster?" Jyabura answers, "Of course he's interrupting us. He's probably one of the pirates. 'Buster Call' is coming soon, too."

The enemies decide not to waste the chance. Jyabura says, "Then we'll just have to obliterate... whoever interrupts us...!!!" Chopper wheezes in the smoke while Kaku and Jyabura move in. Sogeking panics, "Shit, they'll...!!" and tells Zoro, "Straighten your back!! Great sword, 'Hana Arashi'!!!" Zoro and Sogeking, still awkwardly bound together, brace for impact. Kaku strikes with "36-Pound Cannon"!!! while Jyabura rushes in, and Sogeking yells, "HABABE BAFU!!!" The fight has become a mess of bound allies, collapsing tower, rampaging Chopper, CP9 attacks, and the Buster Call timer.

The blow tears through the wreckage, and Sogeking cries, "You... nu!!!" as debris and attacks split the space. Franky shouts, "Get outta the way, guys!!!" Zoro reacts, "Eh!?" while Sogeking tries to explain, "Franky!! What're you going to do!? He's our..." Zoro cuts him off: "I know. Just shut up!!!" Franky has already chosen the method: "I don't see any other way to take care of this. Devil Fruit users have one weakness. I'll push him down into the ocean!!! I'll adjust the power, so bear with it!!!" He starts "Coup De..." preparing a controlled blast to force Chopper into the sea.

Franky fires "Vent"!!! The blast slams into Monster Chopper with "!!!" and sends him flying from the tower. Chopper crashes through the air and drops toward the sea, while Sogeking shouts, "Franky, you bastard!!! What the hell are you..." Franky answers, "Don't worry; we had it all planned out." The bodies and rubble fall in a huge arc beside the tower, ending in a massive "SPLASH!!!!" The move looks brutal, but Franky's aim is practical: water is the surest way to stop a Devil Fruit user's runaway body before it collapses.

Nearby, Luffy and Lucci hear the chaos. Lucci says, "Going crazy among themselves... What do they think they're doing...?" while Luffy only answers, "... Hrmm?" In the tower fight, Kaku watches and says, "Fuel!! You're finally released, huh!?" Sogeking and Zoro stand separated at last, and Sogeking asks, "?" while Zoro says only "..." Zoro smiles darkly and tells the enemy, "Don't laugh, but regret... because you'll never encounter... another chance that good to befall me. 'World Government'!!!" With his swords back and his body free, Zoro declares the chance CP9 had is over.
