HAPPINESS

A wide view shows the ruins of a grand building reduced to rubble, palm trees, and a shattered fountain. Luffy stands alone in the center of the devastated courtyard. In a close-up, Luffy glares with a fierce grin, blood on his face, pointing forward as he shouts, “COME AT ME,” while impact lines and “オオオオオ” SFX explode around him. Smaller panels show him tumbling through debris with the narration: “OR PERHAPS… HE REALIZED IT’D BE FUTILE TO TRY RUNNING AWAYI” A voice comments, “SHAHA HAHA! HE’S GOT GUTS.” Luffy yells, “SHARK!” as more impact effects surround him.

Luffy stands firm with arms crossed tightly over his chest, shouting "GOMU GOMU..." as he braces with a "SHIELD!" Arlong looms in close-up, eyes bulging and jaws wide, roaring "YOU ONLY BARELY MANAGED TO DODGE HIS ATTACKS! DO YOU NOT KNOW WHAT THE WORD 'HIDE' MEANS!I IF HE LANDS A DIRECT HIT THE NEXT TIME, YOU'LL DIE!" Luffy's arms stretch and snap with a loud "びよーん" as he maintains his crossed stance. In the background, onlookers watch tensely while one voice questions "DON'T TELL ME HE'S SERIOUSLY PLANNING TO STOP ARLONG WITH JUST THAT!" Another replies "HUHI WHAT'S THAT STANCE...I" Arlong then activates his technique, declaring "SHARK ON..." with a fierce glare, vowing "I'LL SKEWER HIS HEART!" as motion lines and impact effects burst around him. He adds "AT THIS DISTANCE, I'LL SPEED UP TWO TIMES FASTER THAN BEFORE!" accompanied by heavy SFX "ギュオ" and "オオオ".

Luffy is violently hurled through the air in a massive splash panel, body twisting as huge SFX "ビヨオオ" and "ダーツ!" explode around him. He crashes down hard in the next panel with a sharp "グッ" and "...!!", landing on his back. Arlong reacts with shock, mouth agape, yelling "HE'S HIT!" while gripping his saw-like weapon. Close-ups follow: Arlong's menacing face with "ノオオオー" and Luffy's determined expression breaking into a wide "GRIN!" as he looks up, sweat and motion lines emphasizing the intense exchange.

A massive impact rocks the Arlong Park tower as a huge shockwave erupts from the central structure, sending debris flying. The sign reading ARLONG PARK is struck with tremendous force, accompanied by a loud BOING! and massive Japanese impact SFX. Below, Sanji stares in shock, exclaiming, "HE BOUNCED HIMSELF AWAY FROM ARLONG! NO!" Arlong reels back with a wide-eyed expression, shouting, "WHAT HAPPENED!I WAS HE HIT!I" In the next panel Luffy is sent flying through the air above the park, declaring, "THAT MOVE WON'T WORK ON ME ANYMORE!" as he yells "SHISHI SHISHI!"

Luffy launches a powerful spinning attack from above, shouting "SHARK ON DARTS!" as he crashes into Arlong with explosive force, sending the fish-man reeling amid debris and impact lines. Arlong recovers and taunts, "HMPH! YOU JUST GOT LUCKY THAT TIME! SCARED ME GOOD!" while grabbing Luffy and declaring, "YOU CAN'T ESCAPE FROM ME." In close-up Luffy's fist stretches as he counters, "AS IF I'LL LET YOU! GOMU GOMU... TIME TO FINISH THIS!"

Luffy is hurled through the air, limbs flailing as a massive net snaps shut around him. "NET!" the impact explodes across the page. He twists violently inside the tightening mesh, eyes wide with shock. In the next panel a voice declares, "TIME FOR FISHING!" as the net drags him sideways at high speed. Below, Luffy is shown upside-down, still tangled, while another figure shouts, "FOLLOWED BY!" amid swirling debris and motion lines.

Luffy plummets feet-first in a devastating drop-kick. Massive onomatopoeia "SPEAR!" erupts as his heel drives into the head of a massive horned sea creature. The beast's skull cracks under the blow, eyes bulging. A follow-up panel shows the creature reeling, mouth agape, as it roars "GUHAA!" with blood and impact stars bursting outward.

Luffy's massive punch connects with explosive force, sending Arlong flying backward through the air as the fishman screams "AHH!". Luffy throws his head back and roars in triumph, "IT WOR-KED!!!", while nearby fishmen react in shock. In the next moment, Luffy lies on the ground catching his breath as a fishman stares in disbelief and asks, "IS HE DEAD...I". Luffy suddenly opens his eyes with a curious "HMI". A massive close-up reveals Arlong's furious eyes glaring with intense rage, accompanied by heavy impact sound effects.

Nami stares in shock and declares, "...THAT'S THE FIRST TIME I'VE SEEN THOSE EYES!". Usopp sweats nervously, noting, "LUFFY MADE HIM EVEN ANGRIER WITH HIS ATTACK JUST NOW...!". Nojiko watches tensely as someone exclaims, "THEY'RE THE SAME EYES THAT A SEA KING HAS WHEN IT GOES BERSERK!" and "ARLONG'S EYES CHANGED!". Arlong lunges forward with a furious "AGHH!", shouting "HOW DARE AN INFERIOR HUMAN..." while delivering a powerful strike. Luffy is sent flying as Arlong yells "DO THIS..." amid heavy impact sounds and Luffy's pained scream "AGHHHH!".

A massive fish-man with a swirling tattoo on his arm hurls Luffy through the air with tremendous force. "TO ME, A FISH-MAN!I" the fish-man roars as debris flies everywhere. "FLING!" Luffy is sent tumbling. In the next panels Luffy lands hard but springs up, shouting "AH!" He brushes himself off and says, "DIDN'T HURT BUT IT LOOKS LIKE HE'S SERIOUSLY PISSED OFF..." A relieved grin spreads across his face as he adds, "AHH... THAT WAS SCARY." The fish-man's furious face fills the bottom panel, teeth bared and eyes blazing with rage amid heavy impact lines and debris.

Arlong launches a devastating kick that shatters the surroundings. "WHOA!" Luffy yells as the impact sends him flying backward. "GRAB!" Arlong's massive hand seizes a section of the structure. Three swords embedded in a wooden beam snap under the pressure with a loud "CRACK..." Luffy's shocked face appears in the final panel, eyes wide and mouth agape as he watches the destruction unfold.

A massive impact erupts as the swordsman swings his enormous jagged blade through the air, debris flying everywhere. The huge onomatopoeia "ボコォッ...!!!" dominates the panel. In smaller inset panels, a short-haired girl stares in shock and cries out, "IT'S "KIRIBACHI"!". Nearby, a pair of feet are shown as a voice exclaims, "THAT'S ONE FREAKIN' HUGE SAW!". A spiky-haired boy reacts with surprise, asking "WHAT'S THATI". The bottom panel focuses on the massive serrated sword itself, labeled with the note that Kiribachi means cutting-teeth, as the wielder grips it tightly amid the destruction.

The fight intensifies with a powerful clash. The swordsman strikes again, producing a massive "ガキィィン" impact sound as the blade connects. An opponent is sent flying with "AGH!" and "ブォッ" effects. Large SFX read "ザゴーン" and "ザゴーン!!" as voices shout "HE'S CHASING HIM ALL THE WAY UP!" and "HE'S NOT STOPPING!" In a lower panel, Luffy sprints across a wooden walkway inside the structure. An unseen voice cries "AH!" as a massive black shape slams into him. Luffy's face twists in shock with "ACK!" before he is violently struck, yelling "UGH!" as the impact sends him crashing through debris with huge SFX "オーン" and "CRASH!".

Nami peers ahead and exclaims "IT'S THE CARTOGRAPHY ROOM!" while Sanji notes "THE LEFT WINDOW ON THE TOP FLOOR..." and concludes "HE ESCAPED INSIDE!" A furious close-up shows a snarling man with wild hair and sharp teeth declaring "YOU DAMN RUBBER BRAT....DON'T GET IN MY WAY ANYMORE," accompanied by heavy SFX. Inside the wrecked room filled with scattered papers and maps, Luffy sits on the floor and asks "WHAT... IS THIS ROOMI IT'S FULL OF PAPER." The man stands over him gripping a long weapon, surrounded by torn documents and a cracked crate labeled "CRACK CRACK..."

Inside the ruined room filled with scattered papers and maps, Arlong looms over Luffy while gesturing at the floor. "FOR US FISHMEN, OBTAINING DATA ABOUT THE SEA IS SIMPLE BUT USING THAT DATA TO DRAW MAPS IS ANOTHER MATTER," Arlong declares. "THEY'RE NOT JUST PAPERS. THESE ARE ALL THE MAPS THAT NAMI SPENT 8 YEARS DRAWING." Luffy sits cross-legged among the charts, listening. Arlong continues, "EVEN IF YOU SEARCH THE WHOLE WORLD, YOU WON'T FIND SOMEONE WHO CAN DRAW MAPS AS ACCURATE AS THESE...!" Luffy reacts with wide eyes, murmuring, "OHH..." In close-up, Arlong's sharp-toothed face fills the panel as he states, "THAT GIRL IS A GENIUS." The scene shifts to Luffy kneeling and examining a blood-stained pen on the floor. "IS ENCRUSTED WITH BLOOD... THIS PEN," he notes quietly. Arlong's face twists in rage as he shouts, "THERE IS NOTHING MORE TRAGIC THAN TO WASTE THOSE GOD-GIVEN TALENTS THAT SHE POSSESSES!"

Arlong towers above Luffy with a massive serrated blade raised high, the weapon slicing through the air toward the boy. "ONCE WE FISHMEN LEARN EVERYTHING THERE IS TO KNOW ABOUT THE SEAS FROM HER MAPS, WE SHALL BE INVINCIBLE! THE WORLD SHALL THEN BECOME MY EMPIRE!" Arlong roars. "FOR NAMI, THERE IS NO BETTER HAPPINESS THAN TO STAY HERE AND CONTINUE DRAWING MAPS! FOR THE SAKE OF MY AMBITION, THAT IS!" Luffy remains pinned beneath the descending blade. In the next panel Arlong's snarling face fills the frame as he demands, "DO YOU THINK YOU CAN USE HER MORE EFFECTIVELY THAN I!I" Luffy, still trapped, simply replies, "HMM..." Arlong presses on, "SHALL BE MY STEPPING STONE FOR THAT! AND THIS ISLAND, OR EAST BLUE IN ESSENCE," while the blade remains lodged between them.

A hand reaches down toward a long weapon on the floor, a voice commanding "DROP...". Below, a figure strains desperately against the massive weapon, narration reading "MOVE KIRIBACHI EVEN A SINGLE INCH...!". Another panel shows a shocked face with "WHAT...I" and frantic sound effects "ググッ...!!" and "!I". In the next panel, Luffy sits on the floor amid scattered bookshelves, sweat dropping as he processes the situation. The page explodes into a massive close-up of Luffy's furious face, eyes wide and teeth gritted, as he crushes the weapon with a resounding "CRUSH!". A large speech bubble demands "USEI" while stylized Japanese characters dominate the impact.
