Above the clouds, a peaceful scene unfolds near a thatched house. A musical note trail drifts through the sky. Conis says, "PUMPKIN HARVEST IS QUITE NICE." Pagaya replies, "THIS YEAR'S..." Gan Fall answers, "YES." Pagaya continues, "I REALLY DO NOT KNOW HOW TO THANK YOU..." Gan Fall says, "I APOLOGIZE FOR CAUSING YOU TROUBLE..." Conis adds, "YOU WOULD HAVE BEEN IN DANGER AND BEEN TREATED LIKE CRIMINALS... THIS IS JUST MY SERVICE." Pagaya notes, "IN HERE, NOT EVEN ENEL'S MANTRA CAN FIND YOU."

Gan Fall asks, "I MEANT THE PRODUCE. HOW WAS THIS YEAR'S HARVESTI" Pagaya answers, "...OH... IT WAS VERY GOOD." Gan Fall inquires, "HOW IS ANGEL ISLANDI" Conis exclaims, "CONIS-SAN, CONIS-SAN! YOU TOO COME TRY SOME!" Pagaya offers, "EXCUSE ME. I WILL HAVE A TASTE THEN." Gan Fall states, "IT IS QUITE DELICIOUS. THAT IS THE PUMPKIN JUICE FROM MY GARDEN." Conis responds, "OHI THAT IS NICE." Gan Fall explains, "... NO, I DIDN'T... THEY ARE CRIMINALS WHO SAIL ON THE BLUE SEAS. THEY WOULD PUT A BLACK FLAG WITH DRAWINGS OF A SKULL IN THE MIDDLE OF THEIR SHIPS." Conis asks, "DID YOU KNOW THATI --- LITTLE GIRL, IN THE BLUE SEAS THERE ARE PEOPLE CALLED 'PIRATES'."

Conis reacts, "EH!I" Gan Fall continues, "YOU MEAN THEY HAVE BEEN CRIMINALS FROM THE START!I" Conis says, "... HEH HEH... UM... THEY ARE MORE LIKE 'PEOPLE WHO DON'T FOLLOW RULES...'" Gan Fall notes, "THERE ARE DIFFERENT KINDS OF PEOPLE IN DIFFERENT WORLDS!" Conis asks, "WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCEI" Gan Fall replies, "I HAD FRIENDS WHO WERE PIRATES, TOO. ABOUT 20 YEARS AGO, WHEN I WAS STILL GOD, HE CAME TO VISIT ME... HE WAS A VERY OPEN AND AFFABLE PERSON. I REGRETTED HAVING TO PART WITH HIM. IT ISN'T UNUSUAL... TO PUT IT TO AN EXTREME... Shandia warriors raise their weapons in the night as narration explains their endless conflict: "The peoples of 'Shandia', it is a never-ending war... It is between us, 'the citizens of the sky', and the ones we call the raiders... Even now, Shandia challenges Enel." A young Skypiean girl with wings and a harp replies, "Even though it does not seem that way, Skypiea has always been a warring country..." Gan Fall, the former God, sits holding a cup and recalls, "That had continued on for centuries, but... It was a hope to put an end to the war. When you were God, you tried very hard to achieve peace with Shandia." In close-up he bows his head, "I apologize... Everything came to nothing... Yes, when we almost had peace... Enel took over as God."

Gan Fall's bird-helmeted companion insists, "~Ah! You do not need to apologize...!!!" A wide view of a peaceful Skypiean landscape with a thatched house shows narration: "The island sang a beautiful song, heard throughout the country. As if to signal it, the war between the citizens of the sky and Shandia started. ~ There was a legend in Skypiea... Long ago, on the day that the 'Upper Yard' was born." Gan Fall stands tall in armor, declaring, "This war will end~~~~ When we hear that song of the island once again..."

The young Skypiean girl grips her harp and says, "The song of the island..." Gan Fall smiles with closed eyes, "Sings once again. Surely someday.... Yes, that's when the Holy Land..." In a sudden attack, Gan Fall is struck from behind; he cries, "Please watch my home!! I am off to work!!...What happened...!I" as impact sounds "KA POH!!" and "PIEH PIEH~~~~!!!!" erupt while a winged figure is sent flying.

A massive impact shakes the trees with large sound effects "ヒィィィィィ!!!" The young Skypiean girl stands on a porch holding her harp as a small creature reacts nearby. Gan Fall sits eating, exclaiming, "It tastes better than anything..." The girl smiles while drinking, "Yes... Is really delicious....Wow. Father... This pumpkin juice."

A massive close-up shows a face screaming in terror, "STOP~~~~~!!!" and "WAAAAAAAAH!!!". Smoke and flames erupt violently across a wooden deck and staircase as the same desperate voice cries, "STOP~~~~~!!" and "I BEG OF YOU!! STOP!!!!!". In the lower panels a long-nosed crew member clutches his head, shouting "DAMN THIS!!" while nearby figures wail "WOOO...!!!" and "WAAAH YAAAH!! WAAAH!". Another voice pleads, "DON'T ATTACK THE SHIP! PLEASE DON'T DO THAT!!!" as a goggled figure hunches in panic with "HUN...".

Explosions rock the ship in the clouds as "SUU WOO!!" and "WAAAAAH YAAAH~~~~!!!" ring out. A bearded ship sitter yells, "I'M THE SHIP...!!! THE SHIP SITTER...!!!" and "PLEASE STOP!!" while gasping "...HAH... HAH...!!!". A frantic close-up shows the long-nosed crew member sweating and shouting "DAMN...!!!" and "HAH...!!!". The giant bird Fuza appears with "POH OH!!!" and loud "GU KA KA KAKAKA KAKAKKAK AKAAKA!!!!!" cries. A goggled man turns to the bird and asks, "WHAT SHOULD WE DO, FUZA...!I"

Sky Rider Shura stands atop the giant bird Fuza, which is labeled "SANJOUCHO FUZA". Shura declares, "FIRST YOU TELL ME NOT TO ATTACK YOUR FRIENDS... THEN YOU TELL ME TO NOT DESTROY THIS SHIP... THEN YOU SAY YOU DON'T WANT TO DIE. YOU PUT ME IN A DIFFICULT SITUATION...!!!" The bird squawks "GU KA KA KA!!". Shura glares down and growls, "YOU REALLY PISS ME OFF!" while a close-up of another face shows "HUN... YOU SELFISH ANIMAL." A caption identifies him as "SKY PIEA PRIEST. 'SKY RIDER, SHURA'".

Shura launches a brutal kick, sending the long-nosed crew member flying with "WAH!!" and "IF YOU WANT TO LIVE, THEN WHY ARE YOU SO WEAK!!!I". Below, the crew member screams "STOP IT!!!" and "WAH! WAAH! WAAAH!" as the burning lance strikes, "STOP!! THAT LANCE BURNS STUFF!!!" and "PONG!!". Shura looms over him, asking coldly, "YOU WANT TO LIVE WITHOUT ANY SACRIFICEI" while the battered figure mutters "YOU BASTARD..." amid impact lines and smoke.

In a vast forest clearing dominated by an enormous ancient tree and a raised wooden altar platform, several figures discuss the island's deadly rules. "THEN SOMEONE ELSE MUST DIE..." "IF SOMEONE WANTS TO SURVIVE..." "THAT'S HOW THE WORLD WORKS." A man in a black hat stares in shock, thinking, "HOW CAN HE DO THAT...!I IT'S LIKE HE CAN PREDICT MY MOVEMENTS...!!!" On the altar platform, an old bearded man in ornate robes stands beside a younger fighter. "ON THIS ISLAND, EACH OF THE FOUR PRIESTS CONTROL A TERRITORY." "RIGHT NOW YOUR OTHER FRIENDS ARE RISKING THEIR LIVES TO COME HERE...!!!" "DID YOU KNOW THAT THIS IS THE ALTAR OF SACRIFICE....I" "WHEN THE TARGET ENTERS ONE OF THE TERRITORIES, NO ONE OTHER THAN THE CORRESPONDING PRIEST MAY ATTACK. THAT'S THE RULE." The man in the hat replies, "AH... YES!! THEY SAID..." In a close-up, the goggle-wearing man with a fur collar explains, "...WELL, IT'S FOR AFTER THE PEOPLE BEING TESTED ARE DEAD" "BUT" "ALTAR OF SACRIFICE" "...WHAT...THEN" "BUT THIS ALTAR IS NOT PART OF ANY AREA. LET'S CALL IT THE FREE AREA.... IT DOESN'T MATTER WHO DOES WHAT"

The conversation continues near the giant tree and altar. "YEAH. THAT'S IT..." "IF LUFFY COMES HERE AND SAVES US, WE CAN ESCAPE FROM HERE TOGETHER!I" "IF YOU CAN ESCAPE FROM THIS FREE AREA..." A small bird-like creature reacts with "b EH!I" The old man clarifies the escape conditions: "TO ESCAPE TO THAT FOREST OVER THERE..." "CORRECT. FOR EXAMPLE... THREE OF THE SACRIFICES USED VINES..." A small panel shows a surprised face: "SPECIAL...!I" The goggle-wearing man adds, "~ ANYWAYS, THAT IS JUST THE ORIGINAL RULES FOR JUDGEMENT, AND IN SPECIAL SITUATIONS, THE RULES CAN BE CHANGED." The scene shifts to the grand altar platform adorned with torches and symbols. Narration states, "THIS IS THE WAY OF THE WORLD." "~WHEN THEY COME BACK THEY WILL ALSO BE PUNISHED... SO THEY CAN REALIZE THEIR MISTAKES." "FOR THE CRIME OF RUNNING AWAY, SOMEONE MUST PAY FOR IT WITH HIS LIFE" "AS 'SACRIFICE'." A sudden attack erupts as a winged, armored figure dives from above. The man in the hat yells, "GUH!!!" "NO!!" "NO WAY~~~~!!!" The attacker declares, "YOU MUST GIVE YOUR LIFE TO GOD!" Multiple impact panels follow: the winged assailant strikes, sending the hat-wearing man flying with screams of "AH~~~YAAA AH~~~~~!!!" and heavy SFX like "ビスッ..." "ズドンッ" "ギャア" as debris and motion lines fill the air.

A dramatic full-page action spread shows the armored winged knight of the sky descending with a massive weapon, striking the hat-wearing man amid flying debris and impact effects. The victim cries out in pain. In follow-up panels the knight stands over the fallen figure. "HUN...!!!" The knight speaks calmly, "THANK YOU FOR WAITING." A close-up reveals the knight's stern face. The hat-wearing man, bloodied and shocked, stares up and shouts, "A RARE GUEST!" "KNIGHT OF THE SKY~~~~!!!" with large reaction SFX and motion lines emphasizing the sudden arrival and confrontation.

A massive bird-like creature with spotted wings and a long beak dominates the page as it clashes violently. Gan Fall is hurled through the air on his smaller winged steed. A voice shouts, "GAN FALL!!!!" Below, smaller panels show the ongoing aerial battle. One fighter declares, "LET'S JUST PLAY WITH HIM... FUZA!!" Another retorts, "AN OLD MAN LIKE YOU IS USELESS!!" The bird Pierre cries, "KU KAKA KAKA KA!!" Observers note, "A STRONG OPPONENT. HE IS WELL TRAINED. WE MUST FIGHT HARDER, PIERRE." Pierre responds with strained cries, "PIEH PIEH~~~~!!" while another voice yells, "OOOOOOOOO!!!! KNIGHT OF THE SKY~~~~!!"

The fierce aerial duel continues. A warrior yells, "THIS ISLAND DOESN'T NEED TWO GODS!!" and "YELL ALL YOU LIKE!!" Gan Fall is struck hard, his body twisting midair as impact lines and debris fly. "GUH...!!" escapes him. Multiple panels capture the rapid exchange of blows, with the large bird creature and smaller winged mounts clashing. The knight's lance and the opponent's weapons create sharp impact effects marked "バチッ" and "ごろん!". The sequence ends with the fighters separating after a heavy collision.

The battle reaches a climax. Gan Fall is sent flying backward, feathers scattering as he loses his grip. "WAH!!" he cries. In the background, a structure labeled "TSU TSU" and "zu..." is visible.
