Commands ring out: "REMOVE THE CLOAKING!!" and "HAAA... ALL RIGHT!! IT'S FINE." Sound effects include "GAKO~N" and "BOWA~". A close-up shows the ship's grinning figurehead as someone asks, "... A close-up shows his intense expression as he continues, "NOTHING HAPPENED...!!!" The scene shifts to rubble-strewn ruins where voices explain, "THAT'S WHY LUFFY IS HEALTHY AND ZORO IS LIKE THAT....I SEE... WE REALLY CRIED!! SO WE CRIED!...DOING SUCH AN UNREASONABLE THING..." The scene shifts to a vast ocean vista with a massive whale silhouette. "I WANT TO SEE... WHEN WE SEPARATED FROM HIM... HE WAS AS BIG AS A SMALL BOAT," the skeleton recalls. "HE'S... GOTTEN BIG, HASN'T HE...I" "HE'S DOING WELL." "IS HE DOING WELL...!!I" The skeleton's face fills with tears. "HE... STILL COMES TO MIND. EVEN NOW... WHEN I CLOSE MY EYES, I CAN STILL SEE HIM. HE WAS A GOOD KID... HE WAS A LITTLE DISOBEDIENT, BUT HE LOVED MUSIC," he says softly. A young boy with a scar smiles widely while leaning on a piano. "JAAAN" rings out as the piano plays.

The skeleton weeps uncontrollably, hands over his skull. "SO YOU'RE DOING WELL...!!!! I SEE...!!!! UOOO...!!!!" he sobs. Below deck, a small whale-like creature follows the ship. "IT'S FOLLOWING THIS SHIP. WHAT'S WITH THIS WHALEI I'VE NEVER BEEN THIS HAPPY..." the skeleton says. Luffy leans on the railing, smiling. "HEY, WHAT'S WRONG, SKELETONI PLAY THE PIANO FOR US--!!" The whale surfaces near the Going Merry. "IT'S MAKING SUCH A SAD FACE. IT'S STILL JUST A KID. POOR THING, IT'S A WIDE OCEAN...!! IT MUST HAVE STRAYED FROM ITS POD... PUOOO..." the crew observes as the whale cries out sadly.

The skeleton laughs heartily. "YOHOHOHO, LET'S SHOW HIM THE SKILL OF THE RUMBAR PIRATES: MAKING SAD CHILDREN SMILE!!" "HEY, EVERYONE! GRAB YOUR INSTRUMENTS!! GOOD IDEA, BROOK!! CAPTAIN YORKI!! SHALL WE PLAY IT A SONG!I THAT'S RIGHT!!" the crew cheers. They launch into a lively performance with instruments raised. "ONE, TWO, THREE, FOUR!" The music swells across the deck as the Going Merry sails on. The small whale watches with wide eyes. "PUOOO!!" it cries while the band plays energetically, notes flying through the air.
