Another adds, "NOT THE PROBLEM." Luffy, surrounded by money bags, shouts desperately, "THAT'S... IF IT'S MONEY THAT YOU WANT, I HAVE LOTS!!"

Nami leans in anxiously, asking, "WHAT'S WRONG WITH GOING MERRYI WHAT DO YOU MEANI" The goggled shipwright answers calmly, "I'M REALLY IMPRESSED THAT YOU SAILED HERE SAFELY WITH THAT SHIP... IT'S A MIRACLE." He continues, pointing to a diagram, "IT'S THE SUPPORT THAT GOES FROM THE HEAD TO THE TAIL OF THE SHIP... IT'S ON THE BOTTOM OF THE SHIP... DO YOU KNOW WHAT KEEL IS, SHAMELESS GIRLI" He explains further, "EVERY PIECE OF WOOD IN THE SHIP IS PUT TOGETHER WITH THE KEEL AT THE CENTER. THE RIB, THE PILLAR... THEN THE HEAD, THE TAIL, THE SPINE... WHEN YOU BUILD A SHIP, YOU HAVE TO START WITH THE KEEL... THAT IS THE BASICS OF SHIP CONSTRUCTION."

The goggled shipwright declares, "REPLACING THE KEEL IS THE SAME AS BUILDING A WHOLE NEW SHIP!! IF THE KEEL IS BROKEN, YOU CAN'T JUST TAKE IT OFF AND PUT IN A NEW ONE. THE KEEL AT THE CENTER OF THE SHIP IS THE 'LIFE-LINE' OF THE SHIP..." In the shipyard a worker carries a massive barrel while another voice states, "NOTHING MORE THAN A PILE OF WOOD WAITING TO BE SCRAPPED... YOUR SHIP IS... THUS, NO ONE CAN 'REPAIR' YOUR SHIP." Nami, eyes wide with shock, cries out, "HOW COULD YOU SAY THAT!!I" The goggled shipwright replies quietly, "TELLING THE TRUTH. I'M ONLY..."

Luffy shouts, "THAT'S NOT POSSIBLE EITHER. REMAKE GOING MERRY!! JUST REMAKE THE SHIP FROM START!!" while Nami stands beside him. A bird-masked shipwright raises a finger and explains, "WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUTI THERE IS NO TWO IDENTICAL SHIPS. IN THIS WORLD, IT'S STILL TECHNICALLY NOT 'REMAKING' THE SAME SHIP. WHILE IT IS POSSIBLE FOR US TO BUILD A SHIP THAT LOOK LIKE YOURS... THE SIZE AND SHAPE OF THE SHIP DEPENDS ON THE WOOD. SO EVEN IF WE HAVE THE BLUEPRINT WE CAN'T BUILD AN IDENTICAL SHIP. ARE THERE TWO COMPLETELY IDENTICAL TREES IN THE WORLDI AND SHIPS ARE BUILT FROM PIECES OF WOOD." Sound effect: "クルッポー!!"

A large bird-like figure points forward and declares, "WILL BE YOURSELVES! KOO KOO" while explaining, "EVEN IF WE DO MAKE A NEARLY-IDENTICAL SHIP, THE ONE WHO WILL MOST STRONGLY FEEL: 'THIS IS NOT THE SAME SHIP,'" In the next scene a group stands before the damaged Going Merry as one man states, "YOU CAN EITHER TAKE IT APART NOW, OR LET IT DIE AND SINK NATURALLY." Another replies, "THAT IS CORRECT." Luffy and Nami react in shock; Luffy exclaims, "GOING MERRY WILL NEVER SET SAIL EVER AGAIN!I" Nami adds, "YOU ARE SAYING THAT... SO THEN..." Close-ups show Luffy's wide eyes as he shouts, "THIS IS OUR OWN PIRATE SHIP, GOING MERRY!! IT'S FIN-ISHED!!" with motion lines and impact effects emphasizing his outburst.

The suited man continues, "YOU HAVE THE MONEY FOR IT, NOI I HEARD ABOUT YOUR SHIP'S CALIBER. IT'S A VERY OLD MODEL. THE SEA BEYOND THIS POINT IS TOO ROUGH FOR IT EVEN IF IT'S NOT BROKEN... Luffy erupts in fury, "IF YOU JUST FIX IT, IT'LL DEFINITELY KEEP GOING!! PLUS, WE SAILED PERFECTLY TODAY!! WHO SAYS IT CAN'T GO ON!!I OUR SHIP IS GOING MERRY!!" He yells, "NO!! I WON'T ACCEPT A NEW SHIP!!" The suited man retorts, "THEN YOU CAN JUST SIT IN THAT SHIP AND SINK WITH IT..." Luffy fires back, "YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW STRONG OUR SHIP IS!! I DON'T BELIEVE YOU!!"

Iceberg glares and says, "YOU CALL YOURSELF A CAPTAINI LIL' PUNK." He follows with, "THINK ABOUT IT. THAT'S ENOUGH TALKING FOR TODAY." Luffy stands sweating with a stunned expression. Kalifa holds up a catalog and urges, "PLEASE RECONSIDER. THIS CATALOG LISTS EVERYTHING FROM SECOND-HAND SHIPS TO THE NEWEST IN PRODUCTION..." Iceberg adds, "WITH THOSE 300 MILLIONS, YOU CAN EASILY AFFORD THE BEST SHIP WE CAN MAKE. COME BACK WHEN YOU WANT TO BUY A NEW SHIP." Kalifa replies, "YES, SIR."

Kalifa informs Iceberg, "THERE ARE CUSTOMERS AT THE FRONT DOOR." Iceberg responds, "ICEBERG-SAN!! NMA... TELL THEM I'M NOT HERE. SHOULD I TELL THEM TO LEAVEI THEY'RE THE REPRESENTATIVES OF THE WORLD GOVERNMENT AGAIN." A bald man combs his hair and asks, "EXCUSE ME. ALSO... DID YOU COMB YOUR HAIR AFTER YOUR NAP, LULUI" Lulu answers, "GOOH NYA YES, THAT'S WHAT I'LL DO. I'LL TELL THEM TO COME BACK AT ANOTHER TIME." A large sign reads "GALLEY-LA COMPANY DOCK 1 CHIEF MECHANIC OF NAILING AND SANDING. PIIPURII LULU" as dramatic sound effects "どかん!!" erupt.

In the streets of Water 7, a man in a striped suit spots two figures and urgently warns, "HEY, YOU TWO. HIDE. THEY'RE FROM THE GOVERNMENT!!" Nearby, a suited man with slicked-back hair laughs, "NFUFUFUFU... I KNEW YOU WOULD BE HERE." Iceberg turns sharply, saying, "HOLD ON A SECOND, ICEBERG-KUN." In another panel, a long-haired man in a dark hat complains, "I SAT ON THE SEA TRAIN FOR A LONG TIME TO GET HERE!! DON'T KICK ME OUT JUST YET." A woman replies, "SORRY, BUT I'M NOT HERE TODAY." YOU'RE ACTING CHILDISH... I DON'T LIKE YOU. GO AWAY." with "CHYU CHYU" sound effects. Nearby, a man warns, "DON'T BE A FOOL. THEY'RE FROM THE GOVERNMENT! In the next scene, the briefcases are empty as someone yells, "GONE!!!" and "IF YOU LOOK CLOSELY, THESE TWO BRIEFCASES AREN'T EVEN OURS!!" while holding up a note reading "200-MILLION BERI!!!" A furious man with a pompadour shouts, "SHAMELESS GIRL!!! WHY DO YOU SIT LIKE THAT!I" and "WHAT THE HELL YOU ARE SCREAMING FOR!I" as impact effects fly. Below, Paulie questions, "HMI WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUTI I HAVEN'T SEEN THEM AT ALL TODAY." Someone asks, "WEREN'T YOU WITH THE FRANKYS EARLIERI" Kaku replies, "HEY, KAKU. High above the clouds, the sprawling city of Skypiea stretches across the island. From a distant vantage, Luffy's voice echoes desperately, "LU~~~~FFY~~~~!!!" A worried observer shouts, "THAT IDIOT! HOW CAN HE FIND THEM ALONE!II" while another calls out, "LUFFY~~~~!!" Down in the streets, Nami clutches her head in panic. "I CAN'T TAKE THE 100 MILLION WITH ME. THAT WOULD BE TOO DANGEROUS. I HAVE TO LEAVE THE MONEY ON THE SHIP FIRST." Usopp speeds along on a bizarre vehicle, yelling, "TAKE THE SHORTEST ROUTE TO THE BULL RENTAL PLACE!! PLEASE, YAGARA-CHAN. THERE'S NO TIME TO FIND HIM..." The machine roars forward as Usopp declares, "I'LL TAKE USOPP TO TAKE CARE OF THOSE CHUMPS. YOU MUST HAVE A DEATH WISH TO STEAL FROM PIRATES!! THE FRANKYS..." Impact lines and speed effects fill the panel as the vehicle races ahead.

The Yagara-chan vehicle bursts through the waterways at full speed. Nami cries out, "NIII!! GO, YAGARA-CHAN!!" while a voice urges, "TRAVEL SAFELY." Another announces, "WE ARE NOW AT THE GROUND LEVEL, THE MARKET DISTRICT." The vehicle crashes violently into a dock with massive impact effects and "NII NII" sounds. Nami stares in shock, her eyes wide. "AH" she gasps. The scene shifts to a bustling market square filled with a dense crowd of people. Nami looks around in alarm, thinking, "WHAT A CROWD!" as the Yagara-chan pulls up and she shouts, "NIII!!"

A massive crash sends Usopp and his vehicle tumbling across the stone ground. Spectators yell, "USOPP!!" Nami rushes to the fallen Usopp, who lies battered on the pavement. She shouts, "USOPP! DID THE FRANKYS DO THIS TO YOUI" Usopp weakly replies with pained breaths, "HEH... HEH..." Nearby, concerned voices call out, "USOPP!! WAKE UP! WAKE UP!! IT'S OKAY!! YOU'LL BE FINE!" A crowd gathers as someone asks, "HEY, AREN'T YOU PIRATESI" Usopp mutters brokenly, "THE MONEY... THEY TOOK IT... NAMI..." while Nami stares in horror. An angry figure in the crowd yells, "SHUT UP! WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING AT!I"

Usopp's face fills the frame, tears streaming down as he sobs, "I'M... SORRY, EVERYONE." In a series of small panels, he continues, "I LOST THE MONEY... I WAS SO USELESS... WUWUW..." while thinking of the damaged Going Merry, "YET... TO FIX GOING MERRY..." Nami stands determined amid the crowd, raising her fist. "WE WERE FINALLY ABLE...
