Chance of Whirlwinds

At the Alubarna Southeast Gate, a distant figure points and shouts, "Hey, look over there." Sanji, his face bruised, yells angrily, "You got my goggles back! Sanji, you sure are one great fr— OHHH!" In the middle panel, Zoro stands with a stern expression while Usopp in a top hat and Chopper react nearby. A bandaged man with a hook hand screams, "AGHHH! HEY, THIS IS BROKEN! WHAT THE HELL MAN!I" and "THIS WAS THE LATEST MODEL FROM NORTH BLUE! DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW MUCH I PAYED FOR THESE!I" while another voice exclaims "There's still MORE!I" and "That must be the rebel reinforcement storming this way...!" Usopp remarks, "Looks like it." The bottom panel shows the group hurrying across the desert toward the distant palace. Usopp cries, "HuhI W-wait up," "HEY, USOPP! GET OFF YOUR ASS ALREADY!" and "Got it!" while Sanji snaps, "C'mon guys! Just look at how injured I am! You expect me to run like this!I" and another voice urges, "Let's hurry to the palace. We might be able to help Vivi somehow." A final shout demands, "The hell are you actin' all tough for, you damned camel!I Where were you during the fight!I"

Inside the palace, armored soldiers stand ready with spears and halberds. One declares, "Then that means he really IS the one trying to take over the kingdom!" Another warns, "If Crocodile is really here in the palace..." The next panel shows the outer gate under assault as rebels and royal forces clash. A large figure shouts, "SMASH THE GATES OPEN!" while another yells, "THE PRINCESS IS IN DANGER!" In the lower section, a soldier is suddenly grabbed by multiple extending arms and cries out in shock. A close-up reveals Nico Robin crossing her arms as she activates her power, declaring, "Dieciséis Fleur! (sixteen flowers)."

Chaos erupts at the gate as soldiers are flung backward by multiple arms bursting from the ground and walls. Voices shout, "COMING OUT FROM THE GATE!I" "THERE ARE HANDS..." and "WHATI" while another screams "AGHHHH!" The middle panel shows the massive gate doors being forced open amid smoke and falling debris. In the final panel, a battered Nico Robin stands with a serious expression, noting, "Seems like there's quite a fuss just outside the door." Behind her, a figure in a wide hat and coat laughs softly, "Fufufu..." as fallen soldiers lie at their feet.

Outside the grand palace, bodies lie scattered across the ground. A large figure in a turban collapses forward as bold lettering crashes across the scene. "YOUR HIGHNESS!" a voice cries. "FATHER!" another shouts desperately. In close-up, Crocodile's scarred face appears, sweat and tension visible. "Vivi..." he mutters. The next panel shows Crocodile standing tall in his black fur-lined coat, hands clasped, while exclamation marks and motion lines emphasize the tension. Below, the fallen king lies motionless. Vivi, standing over her father, pleads, "LET GO OF HIS HIGHNESS, CROCODILE!" Crocodile replies coldly, "THAT YOU RISKED YOUR LIFE TO GET..." Vivi continues, "FORGIVE ME... FOR SQUANDERING THE CHANCE TO SAVE THIS KINGDOM," as the king whispers weakly, "Father."

Vivi's face twists in fury, tears and sweat flying as she demands, "AND WHAT'RE YOU DOING HERE!I WHERE'S LUFFY!I" Crocodile smirks, cigar in hand, answering, "But Ms. Wednesday... It wasn't just your life that you risked. You should thank those pirate-friends of yours for helping you come this far. Haha... It's just as the king himself so pathetically stated." Vivi's eyes widen in shock, shouting, "THERE'S NO WAY HE COULD EVER BE KILLED BY THE LIKES OF YOU! YOU'RE LYING!" Crocodile leans in with a stitched grin, "OH, DID I NOT MENTION HE'S DEAD ALREADYI" In the wide shot, Vivi stands before the ruined palace as Crocodile walks away, declaring, "It's only natural that when a kingdom falls, the royal family should perish with it. In any case, let me make it clear that I have no intention of sparing you and your father." Vivi answers quietly, "Hmph... Think whatever you wish..."

Crocodile stands among fallen guards, one hand raised. "A question to which my ultimate objective is tied with..." he says. Turning slightly, he continues, "There is one question I must ask... But before I replace you on the throne, Cobra." In extreme close-up, Crocodile's face fills the panel, cigar smoke curling as he asks with a sharp grin, "WHERE IS PLUTONI" The final row shows reactions: a sweating man with wide eyes demands, "HOW DO YOU KNOW THAT NAME!I" while three figures react with "!", "!", and "I" respectively.

Vivi lunges forward with a massive weapon, eyes blazing, as huge impact lettering erupts around her. "AGHHH!" she screams. Crocodile blocks the strike effortlessly with his hook, commenting, "But without any practical offensive capabilities, Looks like you've got quite the interesting weapon there." Vivi's face shows strain and sweat as the weapon drips. In close-up, Crocodile examines the blade, stating, "Made with the express purpose of terminating life... Only objects. Isn't it more accurate to call it a toy...I" Motion lines and sweat drops emphasize the clash.

A massive impact sends a figure hurtling through the air down a narrow street lined with buildings as a huge SFX "ドーン" erupts. Someone cries "AHH!" while a voice declares "CAN BE CALLED-". In close-up, Miss Doublefinger smirks and says "A weapon..." as Nami stares in shock with wide eyes, sweat flying, while SFX "パチパチ" crackle. Miss Doublefinger grins confidently, gripping a spiked weapon, as Nami thinks in panic, "I'LL BE KILLED IF I DON'T ACT QUICKLY!" and prepares to move.

Nami retorts, "You can't be sure until you've tried it!" Miss Doublefinger counters, "Can't kill me. A toy like this," while smashing Nami's clima-tact with a powerful blow, sending debris flying; she adds, "Fufu... I bet a wool sweater could create more electricity than this." Nami recalls Usopp's advice: "ACCORDING TO USOPP, I HAVE AN ULTIMATE ATTACK TO USE AS A TRUMP CARD! SO WHAT I HAVE TO DO... IS CREATE AN OPENING SO THE ATTACK WON'T MISS!" She lunges forward, declaring "CLUTCH!" and snatching the broken clima-tact pieces as Miss Doublefinger shouts "GIVE THAT BACK!" while thinking about creating an opening with bubbles and the arid climate.

Nami swings the clima-tact and calls out "RAIN TEMPO!" creating a small shower as she thinks, "IF I ONLY HAD A LITTLE MORE MOISTURE IN THE ATMOSPHERE... WAIT, MOISTUREI THAT'S RIGHT! THERE WAS A RAIN TECHNIQUE!" Miss Doublefinger dismisses it: "...Well, whatever. I've had about enough of your little show." Nami insists, "THAT'S NOT IT! I HAVE A PROPER PLAN!" Miss Doublefinger sneers, "Desperate, aren't you... SPRINKLER!" and prepares a massive spinning attack with water effects. She declares, "It's time I close the curtains...! Your show's gone long enough."

Miss Doublefinger launches a spiked attack labeled "STINGER!" and "SEA URCHIN-" as Nami recoils in shock, "A SEA URCHIN!I" She follows with "COOL BALL!" and threatens, "I'LL MAKE A BEEHIVE OUT OF YOUR BODY!" while Nami desperately dodges with "DASH!" and cries "AHH!" amid heavy impact SFX and motion lines. The fight intensifies with rapid strikes and evasion in the street.

Nami sits on the ground amid swirling smoke, staring upward with wide eyes. "That's no beehive..." she mutters. "The edges are singed!" A gloved hand with long claws appears in close-up. Miss Doublefinger stands in a circular window frame, striking a pose. "As a way of thanking you for your performance, Allow me to show you something interesting too." She leaps down. Nami grips her staff and shouts, "HEAT BALL! I have to do it now!" A massive fiery sphere erupts as Nami swings, the blast filling the street with light and force while Miss Doublefinger closes in.

Nami reacts in shock. "WHATI" Narration explains the technique: "AND THEN COLLIDE WITH THE DESCENDING COLD AIR AND CAUSE A SUDDEN DROP IN TEMPERATURE, CAUSING THE MOISTURE TO FREEZE! ONCE THAT HAPPENS..." Miss Doublefinger's body transforms, arms swelling with spikes. "TOGE-TOGE DOPING!" She unleashes a spinning barrage. "STINGER FLAIL!" The spiked limbs smash through debris and walls. Nami and a bystander watch in alarm as rubble flies everywhere. "Didn't I tell you not to look awayI" Miss Doublefinger taunts from the side.

A massive explosion rocks the street, sending debris flying. "KYAAAA!" A figure is hurled through the air. Miss Doublefinger stands over the fallen Nami. "I have to admit, You're quite skilled at running away, if nothing else." Nami lies dazed amid rubble, eyes wide. "OOF!" Close-ups show her surprised face and injured leg. "AH, THAT'S RIGHT! DID MY BUBBLE WORK...I" Nami wonders aloud while checking her leg. "I THINK MY LEG WENT OUT FROM THE FALLING RUBBLE..."

A huge cloud erupts from the impact. "It's a cloud!" Nami exclaims. Miss Doublefinger lands nearby. "I DID IT! A little small but..." She prepares another attack. Nami shouts, "I'VE GOTTA KEEP GROWING IT! COOL BALL! HEAT BALL!" Miss Doublefinger counters with spinning limbs. "I'm not done yet!" Nami watches tensely. "What is it this timeI" The fight intensifies with more smoke and impact effects. "That's enough..." Miss Doublefinger declares as she presses the assault.

A fierce close-quarters clash erupts as the spiky woman drives her weapon forward. "STINGER FLAIL!" she cries, slamming the spiked flail into her opponent. The victim reels back with a pained "GAHH!" while a small white creature watches nearby. In the next panels the blonde woman with spikes glares and growls, "I should be asking you that." Her dark-haired foe smirks and replies, "Ready to dieI" The spiky woman counters with another strike, the impact marked by sharp SFX. Below, the afro-haired fighter is hurled aside as the blonde presses the attack. "Acting tough won't-" the dark-haired woman begins before being struck again, the panel ending on the sound "FLICK!"

The spiky woman unleashes a devastating follow-up. "THUNDER-BOLT TEMPO!" she shouts as lightning-like energy explodes outward. Her opponent is blasted backward in a massive burst of force, screaming "AAGGGHHH!" The impact sends debris flying. In the lower panels a dark-haired woman reacts with shock, eyes wide and mouth open, while distant figures stand amid swirling smoke and palm trees in a town square. The attack leaves lingering impact lines and floating debris across the scene.

The battle continues with the afro-haired fighter spinning wildly from a powerful blow, crying "AHH!" A close-up shows the spiky woman snarling, "YOU LITTLE BITCH!" In the middle tier a weather report unfolds: "However! Please be advised that in a small localized area. There is a chance of mirages and whirlwinds." "Today's weather is clear and nice," another voice adds, "With a normal amount of wind and humidity as high atmospheric pressure moves in." Nami appears in the final panel, gripping her staff with a determined grin. "LASTLY, PLEASE PAY CAUTION, TO TORNADOES," she declares as the panel ends on a sharp "CLICK!"
