The Roger Pirates' ships sail through stormy seas while narration notes, "THAT WAS THE ESSENCE... THE CRUMBLING ISLAND WAS SWALLOWED BY THE WAVES... AND CONSUMED BY FOG... LIKE CURTAINS CLOSING ON A GRAND STAGE."

Crew members shout excitedly around the Roger Pirates ship: "C'MON, CAP'N!! I'M DYING TO OPEN UP THE TREASURE CHESTS!" "JUST WAIT TILL ROGER'S UP!!" "HOLD IT IN!" "STILLI" Roger, bandaged and smiling, responds, "MORE IMPORTANTLY, CHECK IT OUT!" "YEAH, YEAH, WE'RE THRILLED!" "SORRY TO WORRY YOU GUYS..." A voice calls, "ROGER!!" Another protests, "DON'T YOU CARE ABOUT ME AT ALLI!" The crew celebrates wildly with "はーっ!!" and "ぎゃははは" laughter, cheering, "AND WE SCORED A TON OF TREASURE TO BOOT!!" "WHAT A GREAT HAUL!!" Shakky says, "SHAKKY'S SAFE AND SOUND!!" while a woman replies, "HEHEI ♡"

A chest is opened with "CLICK..." and "GULP..." as someone yells, "THERE'S SOMETHIN' IN THERE!!" "WHAT THEI IT'S COMIN' FROM THAT CHEST!!" "OPEN IT CAREFULLY!" News coverage of the battle is shown across the seas, with narration stating, "PREDICTABLY, NEWS COVERAGE WAS FALSIFIED... ONLY ONE ASPECT OF THE STORY WAS HIGHLIGHTED. THE HEROISM OF GARP." Birds fly over a distant city as headlines declare "ROCKS PIRATES WIPED OUT!!" In the Navy HQ on the Grand Line, marines react wildly. Voices shout "GARP!! GARP!!" "I KNEW IT!! VICE ADMIRAL GARP IS THE STRONGEST!!" "ROCKS IS DEAD!!" and "IT SAYS HERE THAT THE ROCKS PIRATES HAVE BEEN VANQUISHED!!" "HE'S A HERO!!" Narration and dialogue erupt: "WE CAN'T BE TRUSTED!!! WE ONLY DESIRE TO PEACEFULLY ENGAGE WITH THE WORLD NOW... BUT THEY CAN'T TRUST THAT!!!" Another giant cries, "HUGE TRASH HEAPS LIKE YOU... The vessel approaches Marineford Navy HQ as Harald's face fills a panel with a determined glare. A sign marks "MARINEFORD - NAVY HQ."

King Harald, bloodied and massive, spreads his arms in a dramatic pose amid smoke and falling debris, declaring, "I APOLOGIZE FOR EVERY WRONG THE GIANT RACE HAS COMMITTED!! THE CHILDREN OF ELBAF ARE BEING RAISED TO LIVE WITHOUT HARMING OTHERS... SO THAT ONE DAY THEY MAY WALK HAND-IN-HAND WITH HUMANITY. I DO ALL THIS TO PROVE OUR UNWAVERING COMMITMENT TO PEACE! ALLOW ME TO ATONE FOR THE SINS OF THE PAST THOUSAND YEARS..." He continues, "EVEN IF IT MEANS BECOMING A SLAVE!! I'LL DO WHATEVER IT TAKES TO ATONE FOR OUR SINS..." Onlookers in Marine coats watch in shock. A close-up of a shadowed face asks, "IS THERE LIGHT AT THE END OF THIS TUNNELI" Harald is struck violently with impact SFX "ドン!!" and "ガキィ!!!" as he screams in agony, "AAAH!!!"
