Wish

Luffy and Enel face off in a tense standoff. Luffy grits his teeth, his face bruised and covered in sweat, while Enel stares down at him with a serious, wide-eyed expression. Luffy lunges forward, throwing a powerful punch at Enel, who leans back to dodge the strike. Below, Nami watches in shock as a massive "DOOOM!!!" sound effect erupts, signaling a sudden, violent movement or impact nearby.

Enel's giant flying ship, the Ark Maxim, begins to activate. Enel's face is shown looking strained as he mutters, "KRRGH." The massive golden face on the front of the ship rumbles to life, emitting "WHRR WHRR" sounds as smoke billows from its top. The internal mechanisms of the ship engage, with gears grinding and turning loudly. With a deafening "RUMBLE," the colossal vessel starts to lift off the ground, tearing through the ruins. Luffy stands in the foreground, watching the massive ship rise before him.

On the waver, Nami and Aisa react in panic as the Ark Maxim ascends. Nami cries out, "What do we do? The ship's flying into the sky!" Aisa yells, "The ship's starting to free itself from the Vearth! It's flying! Ahhh!" Meanwhile, Luffy stands his ground, panting heavily, "HUFF... HUFF...", his face bruised but determined. Nami looks on in disbelief, saying, "He did it...! But the ship's still...!" Enel is shown looking exhausted and strained, sweat pouring down his face as he powers the massive ship.

The Ark Maxim continues its ascent, crushing the forest and ruins beneath it with a loud "RUMBLE RUMBLE." Nami stares in shock, while Luffy pants heavily, watching the ship rise. Enel, standing on the deck of the flying ship, looks down at Luffy and declares, "HAH... IF I CAN JUST GET RID OF YOU... THIS WORLD WILL BE MINE." Luffy glares up at him. Enel continues, coughing slightly, "FOOL... THIS... THIS MUCH... IS NOTHING... COUGH!"

Luffy stares up defiantly, thinking, "Cannot hope to defeat me! A brat like you..." Enel, panting and bleeding from his mouth, proclaims, "My... world... All will fear me... Revere me! Worship me!" The Ark Maxim rises majestically into the sky, its massive side propellers spinning. Down below on Angel Island, the Skypieans panic as they see the ship floating above the Upper Yard. "Something is... Floating above the upper yeard...!" "Look!" "A ship!?" "Don't be stupid! I've never heard of a flying ship before!" "The dark clouds must be the work of that ship...!" "God must be on that ship...!" Someone shouts, "HURRY UP AND ESCAPE ON THE BOATS!" From the ship, Enel's voice booms out: "NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR ME! FOR I AM GOD! I AM ALMIGHTY!"

The panic spreads across the sky islands. Skypieans observe the fleeing population: "Lots of ships are... Sailing away from Angel Island." "Some are coming this way." A Shandian warrior urges his people, "People of Shandia! You must run away to the Blue Seas as well! THIS COUNTRY WILL SOON BE NO MORE!" Others react in shock, "What!?" "To the Blue Seas!?" The Ark Maxim is shown flying high above the crumbling ruins of Shandora. On the ground, Nico Robin looks up at the sky in astonishment, murmuring, "A ship...!?"

Enel stands on the deck of the Ark Maxim, looking down at Luffy with a manic grin. "Just you watch, rubber human... The despair of a crumbling island... NO ONE CAN STOP IT ANYMORE!" He uses his staff to channel intense heat into the golden wall of the ship, melting it down. Luffy yells, "STOP IT!" Enel shapes the molten gold, declaring "GLOAM!" as he manipulates it. Nami watches in horror, exclaiming, "WHA! He's melting down the gold wall!"

Enel forms the molten gold into a massive, heavy sphere around Luffy's right arm, shouting "PADDLING!" Nami screams, "LUFFY!" Luffy writhes in agony, screaming "H... HOOOTT!" as the searing gold burns his flesh. Enel laughs sadistically, "Yahahaha... Hah... Huff... Huff..." Luffy struggles desperately to free himself, yelling, "WHAT DID YOU... AGHH! I CAN'T GET IT OFF! NGHHH! AH- AHH!?" Enel looks down at him dismissively, "Huff... Rubber human of the Blue Seas... There is no need... For me to exert my energy in fighting you..."

Luffy struggles furiously against the massive gold ball encasing his arm, yelling, "GET THIS OFF OF ME, YOU BASTARD!" Enel replies, "I don't want to risk possibly getting bitten back in return by some mangy mutt." Luffy attempts to kick Enel, but Enel easily dodges. Enel says, "So let us part ways here. But for putting up a valiant fight..." He kicks Luffy hard, sending him flying off the edge of the ship. "I will present you with this golden ball!" Luffy plummets toward the ground, screaming, "WHOAA! AHH- AGHHHH! NGHHHH!" Nami watches in shock.

Luffy falls rapidly, the heavy gold ball dragging him down. "AGHHH!" Nami screams his name, "LUFFY!" Enel looks down from the ship, declaring, "As long as I can seal you away... Everything will be as it was before... This world will remain mine! There will be no one in this world who can oppose me!" As he falls, Luffy yells back up at Enel, "THERE ARE EVEN MORE POWERFUL MONSTERS! DOWN IN THE SEAS..." Aisa and Nami watch him fall. Aisa asks, "In this world, you said...!?" Nami confirms, "There's plenty of people who can do that!" Enel glares down, retorting, "COMPARED TO THEM, YOU'RE N- You won't stop talking, will you... FALL! ALONG WITH SKY ISLAND!"

Luffy continues to plummet towards the ruins below. Nami screams in despair, "NO... LUFFYYYY! YOU'RE N..." Aisa yells out, "IT'S LUFFY! LUFFY'S FALLING! PIERREE!" Nami looks confused, "Huh!? That's... Aisa... And Pierre!" Elsewhere, Gan Fall sits quietly, listening to the events unfold. He realizes, "I see... So those were the voices whispering about for a while now."

Pierre, in his bird form, dives rapidly after the falling Luffy. Aisa yells, "LUFFY! WE'LL SAVE YOU!" Luffy, frustrated by his inability to fight back, screams, "DAMMIT! FIIIIIIGHT MEEEEE!" Nami spots danger and screams, "AISA! PIERRE! WATCH OUT!" Enel, annoyed by their interference, says, "What a nuisance... Your actions are all futile anyways...!" He unleashes a massive blast of lightning towards them. Nami screams, "ENEEEELL!" as Enel shouts his attack name, "EL THOR!"

The massive "EL THOR" lightning strike hits with a deafening explosion, obliterating the area where Pierre and Aisa were flying. Debris and smoke fill the air. Nami, clinging to the edge of the Ark Maxim, screams in horror, "LUUUFFYY! AISA! PIERRE!" She looks completely devastated, tears forming in her eyes. Enel laughs cruelly, "Yahahaha... An admirable resistance... But this is the conclusion."

The Ark Maxim continues its ascent, flying high above the clouds. Enel declares, "With my ark Maxim now flying, There is no saving this country no matter how hard anyone tries." Down below, Conis looks up at the massive vessel in awe and fear, realizing, "IS THAT... THE ARK THE MILITIA WERE FORCED TO BUILD...!?" The ship casts a large shadow as it flies over the island, and Conis murmurs, "It's enormous..."

Nami remembers a conversation with Luffy, visualizing a map of Skypiea. Luffy's finger points to a spot as he says, "RIGHT HERE, THE NORTHEAST PART OF THIS ISLAND. IF THEY FIND THE GOLD, WE PLANNED TO MEET BACK ON THE COAST OF HERE." Nami recalls her own words, "SO YOU'RE SETTING SAIL ONCE ALL YOUR CREW GATHERS THERE? I'M FINE WITH SETTING SAIL AS LONG AS THE TREASURE'S ON BOARD! N-NAMI!" Back in the present, Nami looks determined, thinking, "I HAVE TO SEND THEM OFF TO THE BLUE SEAS!" Enel interrupts her thoughts, asking, "What's wrong? You alone managed to survive. Just abandon those hopeless fools. You must have a future you wish to live, do you not...?" Nami turns to face him, replying, "A future I want...?...Yes, you're right....But if I go with you now, Then it'll be the same as being alone...!"

Nami continues her defiant speech to Enel. "What's enjoyable about obtaining the things you wish alone? To be honest... I still have plenty of things I want to do and wish to own... But if I have to abandon them and go with you to do them...!" She screams with absolute resolve, tears in her eyes, "THEN I DON'T WANT! ANYTHING!" Enel's expression darkens, his eyes narrowing as his arm begins to crackle and transform into lightning. He replies ominously, "INCLUDING YOUR LIFE, I SEE..."

Suu, the cloud fox, looks distressed, crying out, "SUU! SUU! SUU!" Conis asks, "Well, Suu!? What do you mean!?" Conis looks around an empty room on the ship, panicking. "Even Usopp and Sanji are gone! They shouldn't have been able to move! What happened!? Why aren't they here? Where did those two go!?" Outside, the Ark Maxim continues to fly. A small silhouette is seen swinging on a rope towards the massive flying ship.
