The Accursed Prince Rises

Nami stands on the deck of a ship with arms raised, shouting in frustration as a massive castle looms behind her. Speech bubbles read: "NAMI-TASO! YOU REALLY SHOULDN'T SAY SUCH THINGS OUT LOUD..." and "IT'S NOT LIKE I CARE ABOUT THIS LOKI MONSTER, Y'KNOW!!" Another voice complains, "WHAT A WASTE! WE'VE BEEN TREKKING THROUGH THIS MASSIVE CASTLE ALL DAY... THEY'RE DONE RANSACKING QUEST CASTLE! AND WE DON'T EVEN HAVE A SINGLE GIANT DIAMOND, PEARL, OR PIECE OF GOLD TO SHOW FOR IT!!" Usopp yells from the ship, "JUST LAY BACK AND GET SOME REST!!" while others react with "OH, IT'S NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT, PAL!!" and "I-LOKII! GIANT DIAMONDI" The crew panics as someone screams "AHHHH!! WHERE'S ALL THE TREASUREI! NAMI-TASO!!" The ship sails past stone towers and buildings.

A woman with long hair explains the Adam Tree's history while panels show its enormous branches and a massive charred hole. Speech bubbles state: "TO SUMMARIZE, WE BASICALLY LIVE ON THE TREE'S ENORMOUS BRANCHES..." "EACH ONE HAS A LONG AND RICH HISTORY OF ITS OWN!" "AIN'T SURPRISING, BUT THERE'S A HELL OF A LOT TO TAKE IN HERE. IT'S INCREDIBLE!" An elder adds, "LIGHTNING STRUCK ONE DAY, AND IT WENT UP IN FLAMES... IT HAD GOTTEN TOO DRY AND OLD, SO THERE WAS NO WAY TO PUT IT OUT. THE ENTIRE BRANCH WAS SEVERED FROM THE TREE TO ENSURE THE FIRE WOULDN'T SPREAD TO ANY OF THE OTHER VILLAGES." Signs label "HOMES", "ADAM TREE", and "TREASURE TREE TOUR GROUP". The elder concludes, "THAT BRANCH... WAS WHERE HAUGEN VILLAGE USED TO BE." "WOW!! AND THAT ONEI!" The woman notes, "FIRE AND LIGHTNING... THAT'S ELBAF'S BIGGEST WEAKNESS..." The elder replies, "I SEE. BET THAT WAS A TOUGH CALL... I GUESS EVEN ADAM TREES AREN'T IMMUNE TO TIME."

At the Western Village Feast, a large group gathers outside a grand wooden hall. Nami has slipped away from the others. "I HAVEN'T SEEN LUFFY OR ZORO ANYWHERE EITHER!" "WHERE DID YOU SNEAK OFF TO, NAMII" "THEY'RE PROBABLY JUST EXPLORING!" "DATS RIGHT!! DATS RIGHT!! GOOD THINKIN'!!" A massive horned elder named Jarul looms over the scene. A burly man with a spiked helmet declares, "I'M INTO OLDER WOMEN!!" Jarul leans in close to Nami with sparkling eyes. "OOH!! AIN'T SHE A BEAUTYI!" "WOOOW!! JARUL!! YOU'VE GOTTA MEET OUR GENIUS NAVIGATOR!" Jarul laughs heartily, "BOSHA SHA! MY TYPE, HUHI HONESTLY..." Nami snaps back, "HA! YOU PERVY OLD MAN!! IS SHE YOUR TYPEI!" Jarul reaches out and receives a sharp SLAP!! across the face. "YOOWCH!!" "ELDER JARUL!!" someone yells as the giant reels. "YOU'RE THE OLDEST GUY IN THE WORLD!! THERE'S NO WAY YOU'LL FIND A WOMAN LIKE THAT! WAHA HA HA!!"

Chaos erupts as Jarul reels from the slap. "OH MY, HE'S SHOOOD DRUUUNK..." "DON'T! THE BLOOD LOSS WILL KILL HIM!!" "HEY!! ANYONE WANNA TRY PULLING OUT EXCALIBURI!" "SHADDUP, DORRY!!!" "USOPP!! KEEP YOUR MITTS OFF THE ELDER'S SWORD!" "LOOK WHO'S TALKING!" Usopp struggles while others react wildly. A large man in a fur coat laughs, "WAHAHA!! YOU CAN TELL!" Nami sits nearby, noting, "THIS WAS HIS DREAM! MAKING IT ALL THE WAY HERE..." "I GUESS IT CAN'T BE HELPED THOUGH." Elsewhere, Sanji appears concerned. "WHERE'S GERD-CHANI" A small cloaked figure stands amid debris and smoke. "SOME-THING'S OFF..." "HUUUH!"

From a distance, Nami and others observe damage to the village. "AND ONE OF THEM LOOKS LIKE THEY'VE BEEN STABBED!!" "THEY HAVE BONE FRACTURES..." "YOU REALLY THINK A NORMAL HUMAN COULD CAUSE THAT KIND OF DAMAGEI" Nami questions a tall cloaked figure. "ARE YOU HOTI YOU'RE SWEATING BULLETS..." The figure replies, "BUT I FOUND THE FRONT DOOR ALL SLICED UP, AND THE GUARDS WERE-" "NOTHING! I WAS MERELY UP THERE DOING RESEARCH, SO I CAN IMPROVE MY BLOCK CASTLE..." "WHAT HAPPENEDI OUT WITH IT!" "THESE GUARDS ARE NO JOKES!! WHAT ARE YOU UP TOI!" A close-up shows the cloaked man sweating as a voice adds, "BECAUSE YOU KEEP STARING AT ME!" Nami insists, "NO!! THEY NEED REST!!" The cloaked figure declares, "I'M GONNA QUESTION THE GUARDS..."

Nami confronts the cloaked man. "YOU CAN'T DO THAT TILL YOU GET ALL THE FACTS STRAIGHT!!" "NOBODY LIKES A PARTY POOPER!!" The cloaked figure retorts, "BUT THAT'LL RUIN THE PARTY FOR HIM!!" "WELL, I'M GONNA TELL JARUL." A close-up shows the man thinking, "HOPEFULLY, LOKI JUST TAKES OFF ONCE HE'S FREE... HE CAN RAISE HELL OVERSEAS FOR ALL I CARE!" "IF THIS LOKI BUSINESS GETS OUT BEFORE LUFFY-TASO AND THE OTHERS RETURN, I'LL BE LABELED A CO-CONSPIRATOR!" In the wreckage below, a woman with a weapon stands over a massive armored figure. "GE... HOH!!" "SPILL IT!! YOU KNOW SOMETHING, DON'T YOUI" A panel shows concern: "THE ONLY THING THAT WORRIES ME IS THAT RED HAIR LOOK-A-LIKE..."

In a snowy mountain landscape near a massive ruined castle, Luffy, Zoro, and their small companions stare in shock at an enormous horned giant bound in heavy chains. Luffy yells, "IT'S NOT LIKE HE CAN GO ON A RAMPAGE WITH THESE WOUNDS!!" Zoro snaps back, "DON'T GIVE HIM THE KEY YET, LUFFY! THIS CHANGES THINGS!!" and "C'MON, ZORO! LEND ME A..." A voice notes, "THIS ISN'T THE SCENE I PICTURED FROM YOUR DESCRIPTION. HE WASN'T LIKE THIS WHEN I SAW HIM!!" and "THE ANIMALS HAVE BEEN ATTACKED TOO! HANG IN THERE, GUYS!!" Someone shouts, "HEY, LUFFY... REALM OF THE DEAD." The giant's massive form lies half-buried in rubble and snow as Luffy cries out, "LOKI!!!" Zoro questions, "WHAT HAPPENEDI! WHO DID THISI!" A small figure adds, "THOSE CHAINS MUST BE MADE FROM SEASTONE..." and "WHAT COULD'VE TAKEN OUT ALL THESE BIG BEASTS...I" Luffy spots movement and yells, "AH! HE'S BREATHING! LOKI, SAY SOMETHING!!" Zoro remarks, "HE'S BIG EVEN FOR A GIANT."

Luffy and a tall, armored, horned warrior stand face-to-face arguing over the fallen giant. The warrior growls, "I HAVEN'T SPOKEN TO HIM, BUT HE SHOULDN'T TAKE HIS BAD REPUTATION LIGHTLY!! THIS GUY'S AS BIG AS OARS!" Luffy insists, "THIS GIANT'S ABOUT TO DIE!! WE'VE GOTTA HELP HIM! WE DON'T OWE HIM A THING!!" In the background a tiny figure says, "JUST WAIT..." A massive splash erupts as the giant's body shifts violently. The warrior is sent flying with a powerful kick, screaming "AARGH!!" while Zoro shouts, "WOAH!!!! WHAT THE HECK, ZOROI!" Impact lines and debris fly everywhere as the giant's leg moves.

The horned warrior grimaces, "SEEMS THOSE BLOODY WOUNDS ARE DEFINITELY THE REAL DEAL, SO HE'S NOT FAKING..." The giant's massive body convulses with a huge "GYAAAH!!" and impact effects. The warrior mutters, "IF HE IS DEAD, THAT WAS SIMPLY HIS FATE. YOU CAN BE A REAL JERK..." Zoro reacts with shock, "HE'S DEAD!!!" and "DAMN YOU... WHAT THE HELLI!" as the giant's head slumps. Luffy, now determined, declares, "THE LIBRARY IS WAY TOO FAR AWAY. I'LL BET WE'LL FIND A DOCTOR PARTWAY BACK AT THE VILLAGE THOUGH... ALL RIGHT!! THEN, LET'S GO FETCH CHOPPER!! WE CAN TALK IT OUT MORE ONCE HE REGAINS CONSCIOUSNESS. BUT LET'S LEAVE SOME SEASTONE AROUND ONE OF HIS LEGS. FINE, I'LL GO ALONG WITH UNLOCKING HIM."

Luffy and the group discuss plans while standing near the giant's massive chained body. Luffy says, "THERE'S PLENTY OF MEAT OVER THERE. I'M GONNA GO CALL A DOCTOR! THEN WE'LL BE BANISHED! WE'VE GOT NO CHOICE. IF THEY FIND OUT WE FREED LOKI, THEY'LL BANISH US, WON'T THEYI WE SHOULD STOCK UP ON MEAT TOO, RIGHTI" The warrior replies, "KNOWING YOU, YOU WON'T BE AT YOUR BEST IF YOU DON'T EAT!!" Luffy yells excitedly, "ALRIGHT, ALRIGHT... MY BAD. ANYONE WHO BECOMES MY FRIEND IS OFF THE MENU!! I CAN JUST GO HUNTING IN THE MOUNTAINS LATER! THOSE GUYS ARE MY BUDDIES! NO WAY!! DON'T EVEN JOKE ABOUT SOMETHING LIKE THAT!! MEAT'S MEAT, ISN'T ITI!" Luffy's face twists in shock as he shouts, "PLEASE DON'T DO IT!!" while the warrior looks surprised, "HMI UH-HUH. LET'S FIND A DOCTOR FIRST!!"

A massive vehicle barrels forward at high speed as the crew shouts in panic. "WE COULDN'T WASTE TIME GETTING A LIFT!!" one yells. "THIS IS AN EMERGENCY!!!" another cries. "IF LOKI ESCAPES, ALL HELL WILL BREAK LOOSE!!" A voice calls out, "I'LL SAVE YOU, GERD-CHAN!!" while another warns, "I THOUGHT WE COULD USE THEIR LAST BIT OF BUOYANCY BEFORE THEY DISAPPEAR! I TOLD YOU!! ISLAND CLOUDS CAN'T SUSTAIN THEMSELVES IN THE REALM OF THE DEAD!!" The vehicle crashes violently with a loud "ドーン!!" impact. In the aftermath, a helmeted giant roars, "I DON'T BLAME YOU!! YOU WERE THINKING ABOUT THE SAFETY OF ELBAF!!" Luffy shouts desperately, "SORRY, GUYS!! I MADE THE WRONG CALL!!" as others scream, "WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE!!" and "IT'S ALL OVER!!" A defeated figure mutters, "WHAT A LIFE!!!"

The giant warrior thanks Luffy, "THANK YOU!!" while another warns, "EVEN WALKING AWAY FROM THAT HURT IS A MIRACLE... IF IT WEREN'T FOR YOU, WE'D BE DEAD FOR SURE!!" Multiple voices shout warnings about Loki: "YOU CAN'T TRUST LOKI!!!" "HE'S A CUNNING, RUTHLESS TRICKSTER, BLACK-HEARTED AND BEYOND REDEMPTION." "FORGIVE ME, LUFFY-TARO!" "PLEASE DON'T GO THROUGH WITH YOUR PLAN TO RELEASE LOKI, STRAW HAT!!" Luffy lands with a massive "GUM-GUM BALLOON!!" expanding dramatically. The group argues fiercely, "LOKI'S A THREAT TO THE ENTIRE WORLD!" "IT WAS ALL A LIE! HE'S A FIEND WHO BETRAYS OTHERS WITHOUT A SECOND THOUGHT!" as Luffy reacts with shock, "HUHI!" and the giant bellows in rage.

The giant points in horror, "LOOK!!!!" as massive chains snap and a colossal figure begins to rise. Luffy yells, "STOP IT!!" while another cries, "WHAT-I! I SWEAR I'VE HEARD HE WAS OUT COLD!!" The enormous form of Loki towers upward with a dramatic "ドーン" impact, chains breaking apart. A narration box declares, "THE ACCURSED PRINCE RISES!!" Someone shouts, "PUT RAGNIR DOWN!! LOKI!!!" A lone swordsman watches from below in stunned silence as the giant's massive legs and fur-covered body dominate the scene.
