A GREAT QUARREL

A wide view shows the sprawling, multi-tiered city with a large fountain at its peak. Location boxes read "Zousenjima, City Center" and "Water Seven". The scene shifts to a large building with a sign that says "GALLEY-LA COMPANY". A location box identifies it as "Galley-La Company Headquarters". Inside, three men in black suits and hats are leaving a room. One of them says, "In that case, we will take our leave for today..." The door shuts behind them with a loud "BATAN...!!" Outside, one of the men complains, "They just send me here again and again. Can't they think in my shoes for once...!?" Another adds, "Plus, it's still not certain if he has it or not..." The man in the middle remarks, "What a stubborn man..." Inside the room they just left, Iceburg sits at his desk, looking annoyed and silent. ".........!!"

Kalifa enters Iceburg's office, knocking on the door. "You must be tired, Iceberg-san. This is Kalifa." Iceburg replies, "Nma! Come in." Kalifa asks, "Would you like some refreshment?" Iceburg requests, "Some red tea please." Kalifa says, "I have it right here." Iceburg praises her, "Nma!! Kalifa, you're so thoughtful!!" She replies modestly, "You flatter me." As she pours the tea, Kalifa asks, "Why do they keep coming again and again? And Kougii always leaves with an angry look on his face." Iceburg explains, "Ah. They want to take something that's mine. They keep making deals with me." Kalifa notes, "It must be very important." Iceburg says, "Nma... I told them I don't have it... And send them back every time..." He looks at a wanted poster for Nico Robin with a bounty of 79,000,000. "But he just refuses to believe me and keeps blabbering..."

The scene changes to the Going Merry docked at the shore. Chopper is looking out over the railing and spots something. "Ah!" He turns back to the crew on the deck, cheering happily, "Hey---!! Usopp is awake!!" Luffy throws his arms up in joy, "Really!? That's great!!" Sanji calls out towards the cabin, "Hey--- Usopp---!!" He then pauses and wonders, "... Hm... Why hasn't Robin-chan come back yet...?" Nami stands nearby, listening.

Inside the ship, Usopp is heavily bandaged and crying. "I'm sorry, everyone!!! I lost our money!!" Chopper tries to calm him down, "Hey... Calm down... Hey!!" Usopp continues to lament, "We worked so hard to get that money and I just gave it all away like that!!!" Chopper insists, "Usopp! You need rest!!" Sanji sighs, "... So in the end, we still don't have it..." Nami adds, "We don't know yet. We're waiting for Franky to come back." Luffy laughs cheerfully, "Uahahahaha. Even if he doesn't, we still have 100 million. Don't worry about it!!" Sanji tells Usopp, "You're lucky that you're still alive...!!" Nami is annoyed, "Lucky!? We lost 200 mil-..." Usopp apologizes again, "I'm so sorry..." Usopp retorts angrily, "Calm!? How can I be calm after hearing such stupid things!!?" Sanji says, "We only decided on that because we have no other choice! You should calm down and listen instead of yelling!!" Chopper warns, "Usopp, you shouldn't do any intense movement with your current condition!!" Usopp screams in despair, "Merry is... Going to die!!!" Luffy looks shocked by Usopp's outburst. "!!?"

A close-up shows Usopp's wide, shocked, and tearful eyes. Nami looks down sadly, remaining silent. "....." Luffy looks stressed and sweaty as he tries to reason with Usopp. "No one can fix it no matter what. I would never make that decision otherwise!" Usopp argues, "But this ship... It took us all the way here. Didn't it?" Zoro speaks up, "Yeah... But now it's only a matter of time before it sinks!!" Usopp is left speechless, staring blankly. "....."

Usopp mutters, ".......... What are you talking about... Luffy?" Luffy insists, "I'm not kidding. It's the truth! The ship-mechanic guy said we won't get to the next island with this ship no matter what!!" Usopp replies, "Ah... He said you can't get to the next island... Do you always listen to strangers and trust everything they say?" Luffy is confused and slightly offended, "What!?" Usopp yells passionately, "Just because a few carpenters say it can't be saved, it's going to die? It came all this way with us... Be it giant waves or deadly sea-battle, the ship is a friend that came through it all with us!!!"

Usopp continues his tirade, "Yet you're going to... Leave it here to die!!!" A view of the Going Merry docked at the shore is shown. "!!?" Usopp glares at Luffy, ".........!!! This ship is just a tool to you. Isn't it?" Sanji warns him, "Luffy!!!" Usopp suddenly coughs violently, "Cough...!!!" Chopper cries out, "Usopp, stop! You need to rest!" Zoro watches the argument silently. "......" Nami looks deeply concerned, ".................. Usopp..."

Luffy looks serious and frustrated. "What would you know!?" Usopp glares back, "Luffy." "......!!" Luffy states firmly, "There is no carpenter on this ship. That is why we need them to take a look for us!!" Usopp argues stubbornly, "Big deal! We don't need them!! I'll fix it like I always have!" Chopper pleads, "Stop, Usopp!!" Luffy declares, "It's decided then. Everyone, give me a hand!! First, we'll buy wood from the shipyard. Time to get busy!!" Luffy yells at Usopp, "You're not a carpenter, Usopp!!!"

Nami tries to interject, "Hey, Luffy!" Usopp yells, "Yeah, but so what!? And so what if they are!? It's not their ship! They don't give a damn!! They're just bull-shitting us. I don't believe them!" Zoro watches silently. "..." Usopp continues, "We'll fix our own ship!! I'll never give up this ship!! Are you all idiots!!? Do you listen to those carpenters like dogs!?" Usopp adds, "The Straw-Hats I know wouldn't give in to a marketing scheme! They would believe in Going Merry's strength and fortitude!!" Luffy grabs Usopp by the shirt, furious. "......!!" Usopp yells back at him, "Stop bluffing, damn brat!! Don't say 'I've decided' like you're a real captain!!!"

Usopp looks shocked as Luffy grabs him. "!!!!" Usopp says, "I've misjudged you, Luffy!!!" Sanji tries to stop them, "Stop, Usopp!! Luffy didn't..." Nami reaches out to speak, but Luffy cuts her off, "Shut up, Nami!" Luffy yells, "I have made my decision! I won't change it no matter what you say!! We're changing ship, and we're going to say goodbye to Going Merry right here!!" Usopp yells back, "Bull shit! I won't allow that!!" Sanji yells, "Calm down!! Stop yelling at each other!!"

Usopp argues, "Listen, Luffy!! Not everyone can ruthlessly move forward in cold blood like you!! I can't leave behind a wounded comrade and I won't!!!" Luffy retorts, "That's stupid! Ships and people are two different things!!" Usopp yells, "They're the same!! Going Merry is alive!! You probably wanted a ship since the start! You're just too careless about leaving Going Merry!!" Luffy is furious, "!!! Don't talk like you know everything, punk!!!" Someone yells, "Luffy!" Luffy yells, "You're not the only one who cares about Merry!!" Usopp yells, "If you care, you won't want to change ship!!!" Luffy snaps, "Fine!! If you don't like my decision, then just leave..."

Before Luffy can finish his sentence, Sanji kicks him hard in the face! "Idiot!!" "!!!" Sanji stands over Luffy, "Luffy, what are you thinking!? Calm down!! Watch what you say!!" Sanji pants heavily, "Heh... Heh..." Chopper cries, "Sanji!!" Nami gasps, "Ah!!" Luffy sits up, rubbing his head. "Sorry. I didn't mean..." Usopp interrupts coldly, "No. That's fine, Luffy!! Since that's what you really feel!" Luffy looks shocked, "!?" "What did you say!?"

Usopp says bitterly, "Leaving behind the crewmates that are useless to you one by one, so you can keep moving forward!! If you want to leave this ship behind, then leave me behind, too!!" Sanji says, "Usopp! You're not serious!" Usopp replies, "No... I am. I've thought about it... I knew... That I would never be able to catch up to any of you...!!" Nami pleads, "Let's talk about this!!" Sanji yells, "Hey! Come back!!" Zoro watches silently. "............" Chopper cries, "Aaah!! Don't leave us, Usopp!!!" Usopp says, "No... I can't go with you any more... I won't cause you trouble anymore..." Luffy stares in disbelief. ".......!!!" Usopp turns back to face them, "But the ship belongs to the captain... So fight me. If I win, I'm taking Going Merry!! Monkey D Luffy!!"

Usopp stands alone on the shore, facing Luffy who is still on the ship. Usopp yells at the top of his lungs, "I challenge you to a duel!!!!" "!!!" A close-up shows Luffy looking serious and determined. Another close-up shows Usopp looking fierce and resolute, ready to fight for the ship. The text at the bottom reads: "ONE PIECE Chapter 331 / End".
