A wide view shows the imposing, multi-tiered structure of Arlong Park, its roof bearing the name "ARLONG PARK". The surrounding courtyard is in ruins, with shattered walls and debris scattered everywhere. Two figures stand facing each other amidst the destruction. Nearby, Arlong glares angrily, a sharp "PIKS" sound effect emphasizing his irritation. On the ground lies the massive sea cow, Momoo, completely defeated with swirly eyes and its tongue hanging out limply. In the courtyard, the fishman Kuroobi, sporting a topknot, stands ready for battle, staring down Sanji, who stands with his back to the viewer, a cigarette in his mouth.

Near the water's edge, a heavily injured Zoro stands holding his swords, panting. Sanji walks up behind him, warning, "DON'T! WITH YOUR INJURIES, YOU'LL END UP DYING IF YOU JUMP INTO THE SEA!" Zoro, sweating and determined, replies, "GOTTA SAVE LUFFY..." Sanji, looking frustrated, yells, "I DON'T HAVE TIME TO WAIT FOR YOUR FIGHT TO END!" Zoro snaps back, "I KNOW!" Sanji continues to shout, "SHUT UP! THAT GUY'S AT HIS LIMIT ALREADY!" Zoro looks back over his shoulder, surprised by Sanji's outburst. Sanji then smiles confidently, his cigarette clamped in his teeth, and says, "I KNOW WE DON'T HAVE ANY TIME LEFT. I KNOW THAT BETTER THAN ANYONE SO SAY NO MORE!"

A single panel focuses on Zoro's face. He wears his dark bandana and looks intensely forward, sweat beading on his face as he breathes heavily, processing Sanji's words.

Sanji leaps high into the air and dives headfirst into the water with a massive splash, yelling back to Zoro, "I'LL GO IN SO YOU CAN QUIT YOUR COMPLAINING!" Zoro watches in shock, exclaiming, "WHA!?" On the shore, Usopp panics, his eyes wide and mouth agape as he screams, "YOU DUMBASS! THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT THEY WANT YOU TO DO!" Kuroobi, the fishman, laughs uproariously, "KU HA HA HA HA! HOW INTERESTING! A HUMAN DARES CHALLENGE ME TO AN UNDERWATER BATTLE!?" Kuroobi then leaps into the water after Sanji. Usopp watches from the ruined wall, despairing, "HOW STUPID COULD HE BE!" As Kuroobi dives, he taunts, "SHAHA HAHA! IT'S TIME FOR YOU HUMANS TO KNOW YOUR PLACE!"

Underwater, Sanji opens his eyes and looks surprised, thinking, "WHAT...?" He notices someone and thinks, "THAT'S THE GUY FROM THE VILLAGE..." Deeper down, he sees Genzo and Nojiko swimming near Luffy's stretched neck, which is pinned under a rock. Genzo and Nojiko are desperately pressing on Luffy's chest to perform CPR. Sanji observes this, thinking, "HIS NECK IS STRETCHED...?" He realizes the urgency, thinking, "I HOPE I'M NOT TOO LATE! MUST... RESTART... HIS BREATHING!" He also notes his own limits, thinking, "MY BREATH IS GOING TO RUN OUT TOO IF I DON'T HURRY!"

Above the surface, the gates of Arlong Park stand partially submerged. Genzo's voice is heard saying, "SORRY... WE'RE NOT STRONG ENOUGH TO PULL YOUR BODY OUT, BUT WE'LL AT LEAST TRY TO MAKE YOU COUGH UP ALL THE WATER YOU SWALLOWED SO YOU CAN BREATHE!" Nojiko breaks the surface, gasping for air with a loud "PFFFF!". She calls out encouragingly, "YES! KEEP AT IT, GEN!" Underwater, Genzo continues to pump Luffy's chest. Sanji swims downwards, analyzing the situation. He thinks, "SINCE THEY CAN'T BREAK THE ROCK, THEY'VE STRETCHED HIS NECK INSTEAD SO HE CAN BREATHE!...WHICH MEANS ALL I HAVE TO DO IS BREAK THIS ROCK, AND LEAVE THE REST TO THAT OLD MAN!"

Kuroobi intercepts Sanji underwater, launching a swift karate chop. He yells, "FISHMAN KARATE! ARM BLADE SLASH!" Sanji barely dodges the attack, looking shocked. Kuroobi then notices Genzo working on Luffy below. He glares, thinking, "HMPH, ONE OF THE COCOYASHI VILLAGERS IS TRYING TO SAVE HIM...!" Sanji struggles, bubbles escaping his mouth as he chokes out a "GARBGH!" Kuroobi swims aggressively towards Genzo and Luffy, shouting, "YOU THINK THAT TRYING TO EXTEND HIS LIFE BY DOING THAT, WILL CHANGE YOUR FATES IN ANY WAY!? YOU CAN DROWN HERE WITH THAT BOY TOO!" Genzo looks up in terror, realizing he's been seen, thinking, "OH NO! THAT FISHMAN SPOTTED ME!"

Kuroobi glares menacingly as he descends. Suddenly, Sanji grabs him from behind, wrapping his arms around the fishman's torso. Kuroobi looks back over his shoulder, unbothered, and says, "YOU SERIOUSLY WISH TO FIGHT ME UNDERWATER...!? EVEN THOUGH AS AN INFERIOR HUMAN, YOU'RE ALREADY AT YOUR LIMIT JUST BY TRYING TO HOLD YOUR BREATH...!" Sanji, struggling to hold on, thinks fiercely, "I WON'T LET YOU GO!" Kuroobi easily breaks Sanji's grip, grabbing his arms and throwing him forward. He yells, "SO BE IT! MANTA RAY THREAD GRAPPLE!" Sanji is violently tossed through the water.

Kuroobi swims rapidly towards the disoriented Sanji, taunting him, "HMPH, HOW WEAK. COMPARED TO YOUR KICKS ON LAND, YOUR POWER HAS BEEN REDUCED BY HALF. HOWEVER, THE SAME DOESN'T APPLY FOR FISHMAN KARATE..." Kuroobi delivers a brutal kick straight into Sanji's stomach. He shouts, "IN FACT, DEPENDING ON THE TECHNIQUE, ITS POWER IS DOUBLED! SEA-SPEED STOMACH DROP KICK!" Sanji doubles over in pain. Kuroobi then begins to spin rapidly underwater, creating a swirling vortex as he propels himself towards Sanji for another attack. Sanji watches the incoming assault with wide eyes.

Kuroobi continues his relentless underwater assault. He swings his leg up, striking Sanji with a powerful kick, yelling, "FIRE FLOWER HEEL DROP KICK!" Sanji is sent hurtling upwards through the water, gasping and losing precious air. Kuroobi swiftly swims up after him, closing the distance. As Sanji struggles, Kuroobi positions himself below and delivers a devastating upward kick directly to Sanji's chin, shouting, "RISING THRUST KICK!" The impact jolts Sanji violently.

Kuroobi follows up his kick with a brutal open-palm strike directly to Sanji's chest. He roars, "HIGH-LEVEL EXPLODING PALM!" The force of the blow is immense, sending shockwaves through the water. Sanji is blasted downwards, crashing heavily into the rocky seabed. The impact shatters the rocks around him, kicking up a cloud of debris and bubbles. Kuroobi lands nearby, watching his opponent fall.

Sanji lies on the seabed, his face contorted in pain as bubbles escape his mouth. He desperately thinks, "GUH! IT HURTS TOO MUCH! I NEED AIR! AIR!" Summoning his remaining strength, he kicks off the rocky bottom, launching himself upwards towards the surface. However, Kuroobi swiftly intercepts him, grabbing Sanji by the collar of his shirt. Kuroobi smirks and says, "WHERE DO YOU THINK YOU'RE GOING..." He continues to taunt the struggling cook, "TO THINK YOU COULD SURVIVE MY ATTACKS... IT'S HARD TO BELIEVE YOU'RE MERELY HUMAN." Sanji thrashes in Kuroobi's grip, his face turning blue as he thinks, "DAMN IT! JUST LET ME GET BY! I NEED TO BREATHE...!"

Kuroobi holds Sanji firmly underwater, continuing his monologue. "TRY TO ESCAPE AS YOU WILL, BUT THIS GAME WILL END WITH YOUR DEATH. BUT BEHOLD! THIS IS THE EXTENT OF YOUR CHIVALRY!" He glares menacingly, adding, "AND THEN I'LL KILL THAT LONG-NOSED MAN, ZORO, AND ALL THOSE VILLAGERS WHO TRIED TO REBEL!" He points upwards towards the surface, stating, "WHICH WILL KILL OFF THAT RUBBER BOY AT THE SAME TIME AS WELL. AND ONCE THIS GAME ENDS, I'LL KILL THAT VILLAGER," A close-up shows Sanji's face, cheeks puffed out as he holds his breath, his eyes wide with fury. Kuroobi finishes his threat, "AND OF COURSE, WE WON'T LET NAMI GET OFF SCOTT-FREE AFTER BETRAYING OUR TRUST. DO YOU UNDERSTAND...? DESPITE ALL YOUR LIP-SERVICE FOR YOUR PRECIOUS IDEAL CALLED CHIVALRY... YOU CANNOT EVEN SAVE ONE PERSON!"

Kuroobi's eyes widen with malicious intent as he explains, "IN OTHER WORDS, IF I WERE TO DRAG YOU DOWN TO THE OCEAN FLOOR IN AN INSTANT, YOUR INNER ORGANS WILL BURST OPEN!" He grabs Sanji tightly by the head, mocking him, "YOU CAN'T EVEN HANDLE A SUDDEN CHANGE IN WATER PRESSURE...! HOW POWERLESS YOU HUMANS ARE..." Kuroobi then turns and dives straight down into the dark depths, dragging Sanji with him. He yells the name of his technique, "FATAL PRESSURE PLUNGE!" Sanji, struggling against the rapid descent, thinks, "THIS CALLS FOR A CHANGE OF PLANS..!! I'LL LEAVE LUFFY TO THAT MAN FOR NOW." As Kuroobi laughs maniacally, "KUA HA HA HA!", Sanji's resolve hardens. He thinks, "I SWEAR I WON'T LET HIM WIN..!! HE THINKS THAT I CAN'T EVEN SAVE ONE PERSON!?"

Suddenly, Sanji reaches out and tightly grips the gills on the side of Kuroobi's neck. Kuroobi's eyes bulge in shock and pain. Above the surface, near the ruins of Arlong Park, Yosaku looks at the water anxiously, saying, "BROTHER COOK'S NOT COMING UP... AND NEITHER ARE THAT MAN AND NAMI'S SISTER... JUST WHAT'S GOING ON DOWN THERE...?" Zoro stands nearby, looking tense and silent. Underwater, Kuroobi grits his teeth, stunned by Sanji's resilience. He thinks, "THIS MAN STILL WON'T DIE...!?" A close-up shows Sanji's hand firmly clamped over Kuroobi's gills, cutting off his air supply.

Sanji glares at Kuroobi, thinking, "ON LAND, THEY BREATHE USING LUNGS BUT UNDERWATER, THEY BREATHE USING GILLS...!! WHICH WOULD MEAN THAT THEY'RE NOTHING BUT TALKING FISH!!!! THESE FISHMEN..." Sanji then delivers a powerful kick, sending Kuroobi flying away. Kuroobi recovers and yells, "FINE, I SHALL DO IT ONCE MORE!" He swims aggressively towards Sanji, jaws open wide to bite him, saying, "WE'RE BACK UP AGAIN. I WONDER IF YOU CAN HANDLE A SECOND RIDE?" Sanji swiftly dodges the bite and counters by blowing a massive burst of air directly into Kuroobi's exposed gills. Kuroobi screams in agony, "GUBAHHHHH!". Sanji thinks triumphantly, "AND IF IT'S A FISH WE'RE TALKING ABOUT, ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS BLOCK THEIR GILLS AND THEY'LL DIE! IF YOU'RE A FISH, YOU SHOULD BE FEELING THE SAME PAIN!"

Sanji bursts through the surface of the water, throwing his head back and gasping desperately for air with a loud "BUH-AAA!" On the shore, Usopp and Zoro watch. One of the men asks, "HALF?" Zoro replies calmly, "HALF-FINE, I GUESS." Usopp looks surprised, "REALLY?" Zoro reassures him, "DON'T WORRY, HE'S FINE." Another bubble adds, "I'LL TELL YOU LATER...!" Nearby, Arlong notices the commotion, saying "HM? HEY!" Sanji floats on the surface, panting heavily, "PANT PANT PANT...". He then glares down into the water with intense fury and yells, "GET THE HELL BACK UP HERE, YOU DAMN FISH! IT'S TIME I KILL YOU!"

Kuroobi surfaces from the water, coughing violently, "COUGH... COUGH...". He glares at Sanji and says, "YOU STILL DON'T UNDERSTAND? WHETHER UNDERWATER OR ON LAND, THE BASIC DIFFERENCE IN OUR STRENGTH REMAINS UNCHANGED." He gets into a fighting stance, his expression furious. "NOT ONLY THAT, YOU'VE INVOKED MY WRATH NOW. BUT YOUR CHANCES OF SURVIVING MY ULTIMATE TECHNIQUE '1000 TILE SMASHING TRUE PUNCH' IS... ZERO!" He continues, "I SHALL KILL YOU WITH THE ESSENCE OF FISHMAN KARATE. EARLIER ON, I SENT YOU FLYING WITH MY '100 TILE SMASHING TRUE PUNCH.'" Sanji watches him, looking completely unimpressed. Suddenly, Sanji moves with incredible speed, delivering a sharp kick directly to Kuroobi's neck. He shouts the attack name, "COLLIER! (neck)".

Sanji unleashes a rapid, relentless barrage of kicks on Kuroobi. He strikes Kuroobi's shoulder, yelling, "EPAULE! (shoulder)", causing the fishman to grunt in pain. Next, he delivers a fierce kick to Kuroobi's ribs, shouting, "COTELETTE! (rib chop)". As Kuroobi reels back, Sanji asks coldly, "WHAT DID YOU SAY YOU WOULD TAKE FROM ME...?" Sanji continues his assault, kicking Kuroobi in the lower back with a cry of "SELLE! (lower saddle)". He follows up with a powerful strike to the chest, yelling, "POITRINE! (breast)". Finally, he kicks Kuroobi hard in the leg, shouting, "GIGOT! (leg)", making the fishman scream in agony.

Kuroobi, battered and desperate, tries to launch a counterattack. He pulls his fist back, yelling, "MY ULTIMATE 1000 TILE... TAKE THIS!" Sanji easily evades the punch and prepares his own devastating strike. Kuroobi stammers in shock, "W-WHY YOU...!" Sanji leaps into the air and delivers a massive, full-force kick directly to Kuroobi's chest and face. He roars the name of his finishing move, "MUTTON SHOT!" The impact is explosive, sending Kuroobi flying backward with tremendous force. Sanji lands gracefully, calmly lighting a cigarette as he quips, "DON'T YOU WANT ANY DESSERT...?" In the background, Kuroobi's body crashes violently through the stone wall of Arlong Park, completely defeated.
