YOU ARE A RARE AND PRECIOUS ANIMAL TOO

A small pirate ship sails on the open sea under scattered clouds and birds. Two speech bubbles marked “KA” drift on the waves. Luffy excitedly shows his fixed straw hat to a short-haired girl who sits mending fabric with a needle, replying “YOU DID A GREAT JOB IN FIXING THIS HAT RIGHT! RIGHT! THANKS! I THINK THAT I SHOULD DO IT, TRY NOT TO POKE IT TOO MUCH MENDED THE CUTS I JUST…”. SFX: POKE POKE POKE. Suddenly Luffy is struck, eyes bulging, yelling “YAAAA-AAAA…”. The girl snaps “DIDN’T YOU LISTEN TO WHAT I JUST SAIDI!I” SFX: BUSSS! Luffy recoils with a “ZUBO!” impact, hat flying, muttering “UH OH…”. The curly-haired man lies nearby complaining “YOU GUYS ARE TOO NOISY! I CAN’T SLEEP WITH ALL THIS NOISE”. Luffy grins “AH, THAT MAKES SENSE!” while the girl threatens “IT’S USELESS IF I HIT YOU, SO I HAVE TO USE THE NEEDLE, IT HURTS! STOP POKING ME WITH THAT NEEDLE!” The curly-haired man adds “HEY! I’M HUNGRY!” SFX: ZUBO!

On the ship deck the short-haired girl gestures animatedly while Luffy stands with his back to the viewer. Dialogue flies: “AH! I SEE SOMETHING! YOU UNDERESTIMATED THE SEA! YOU DON’T BRING FOOD OR WATER AND YOU DARE TO GO TO SEA, OH, PLEASE! YOU NEED TO BE MORE PREPARED! SHARE US SOME FOOD!” The curly-haired man agrees the distant island is useless. Luffy excitedly spots land through binoculars, shouting “HEY! THERE’S AN ISLAND! THERE’S ALWAYS A WAY! IT’S A MIRACLE YOU’VE SURVIVED UP TO NOW!” The short-haired girl warns “IT’S UNPOPULATED, SO IT’S USELESS! LET’S JUST KEEP GOING!” SFX: ROW ROW. In the final panel the ship rows toward the island as the girl peers through binoculars and declares “LET’S SEE IF WE CAN FIND SOMEONE WHO WOULD JOIN US THERE… AND LET’S LOOK FOR FOOD TOO. YOU KNOW, NAMI WAS RIGHT, WE SEEM TO HAVE NO PLANS!” SFX: GIIー GIIー GAAーN. She yells “WAIT!”

The crew arrives at a small, isolated island surrounded by calm seas under a bright sky. Luffy stands on the shore with a huge grin and shouts, "WE'VE REACHED THE ISOLATED ISLAND!" In the next panel he looks around excitedly and declares, "THERE'S NOTHING HERE BUT FOREST!" Nami, standing nearby, replies with a smile, "IT WOULD BE WEIRD IF YOU FOUND SOMEONE FOR THE CREW HERE!" She adds, "LIKE I SAID, THIS IS AN UNPOPULATED ISLAND!" Luffy, perched on the ship's railing with a large wooden post in hand, turns and yells toward the ship, "HEY! ZORO, COME OVER HERE!" A loud "どん" sound effect echoes as the scene shifts.

Zoro lies asleep on the ground with "ZZZ..." floating above him. Nami waves her hand and says, "LET HIM SLEEP. HE'S STILL INJURED," while Luffy protests, "HEY, YOU'RE SLEEPING!" They decide to explore anyway. Luffy points toward the dense forest and announces, "THERE'S NO ONE HERE BUT POISONOUS SNAKES AND WILD ANIMALS! TOWARDS THE FOREST! YOU NEVER KNOW, THERE MIGHT BE PEOPLE THERE!" Nami agrees, "YOU'RE RIGHT! WELL, LET'S GO!" As they walk into the trees, strange sounds begin: "KA..." and "のし のし..." A small white fox-like creature with a fluffy tail appears, making "POCK! POCK!" noises. Nami and Luffy react with surprise, "WHAT IS THATI" and "HUHI"

Luffy excitedly grabs a bizarre long-necked snake creature and yells, "HEY LOOK!! WHAT A WEIRD RABBIT!" Nami, shocked, replies, "BUT I THINK THAT'S A MUTANT SNAKE" and "IT'S WEIRD ALRIGHT." They encounter more strange animals: a mutant pig that oinks "OINK OINK" and a lion-like beast accompanied by "すた すた" sounds. Luffy comments, "THIS FOREST... IT'S REALLY WEIRD!" and "THAT... THAT'S A PIG, ISN'T ITI A WEIRD MUTANT PIG." Nami wonders, "HOW ABOUT THAT LIONI" Suddenly an unseen voice booms from the trees, "MEI I AM THE FOREST GUARDIAN..." Luffy and Nami react with confusion, "WHO ARE YOUI" and "WHAT WAS THAT SOUNDI" The voice continues, "DON'T COME CLOSER! GET OUT!"

The unseen Forest Guardian demands, "YOU ARE PIRATES, AREN'T YOUI" Luffy answers, "YES!" The voice presses, "THAT'S RIGHT! IF YOU STILL WANT TO LIVE, THEN LEAVE AT ONCE!" and "THE FOREST GUARDIANI" Nami asks, "WHY DID HE ASK THATI" and "SO YOU ARE PIRATES!" The Guardian warns, "OR ELSE YOU WILL FACE... THE FOREST JUDGEMENT!" and "LISTEN WELL, DON'T TAKE A STEP FURTHER TO THE FOREST!" Luffy snaps back, "WHO CARESI!" A mysterious figure appears in the distance as the Guardian shouts, "RECEIVE THE FOREST JUDGEMENT!" Luffy turns and yells, "HEY! I TOLD YOU NOT TO COME CLOSER!" The Guardian continues, "WHERE ARE YOU, COME OUT!" Nami questions the voice, "WHAT EXACTLY IS THAT...I" while Luffy demands, "HEY, THE BRAT WITH THE STRAW-HAT, WHAT DID YOU JUST SAYI"

Luffy is suddenly struck hard from behind, sending him flying with a loud "KYAAA!!" and impact SFX "ズバッ" as someone shouts "UOH!!". A gunshot rings out with SFX "BANG!!". Luffy crashes down in pain, yelling "HA!!" while the girl stares in shock with SFX "びょーん" and "GU!!". She asks, "KIND OF A THING ARE YOUI WHAT... WHAT THAT'S OUR LINE!" Luffy sits up, scratching his head in confusion. "SO... BULLETS DON'T HURT YOU! WHAT A SHOCK! THAT WAS A BULLET, RIGHTI" he exclaims. The girl replies with a nervous "HUH...I" and SFX "PHEW" as Luffy wonders aloud.

The girl and Luffy examine a strange black object on a treasure chest. "IT DOESN'T LOOK NORMAL! WHAT'S THIS THING...I" they say as SFX "どーん" sounds. Spotting a pistol on the ground, the girl points and shouts, "LOOK! THERE'S A PISTOL! THE BULLET WAS FIRED FROM THERE!" The chest suddenly moves with SFX "ダダダ" and "TAP TAP!!", prompting cries of "GAA!!" and "AH! IT'S MOVING!" as they trip with SFX "トリップ". The chest reveals a furious face inside. "WHAT AN INTERESTING CAULIFLOWER HEAD! CAULIFLOWER MAN! LIFT ME UP! WOW! IT'S A MAN!" the creature yells. "HEY! WHY DON'T YOU LIFT ME UPI WHY ARE YOU SO ANGRYI YOU TRIPPED YOURSELF..."

Luffy sits on a rock and recalls, "I HAVE HEARD ABOUT THAT BEFORE... IT'S A 'DEVIL'S FRUIT' RIGHTI GOMU GOMU FRUIT..." The man in the chest, labeled "ISLAND RESIDENT GAIMON", angrily explains, "BUT IT IS THE FIRST TIME I HAVE MET SOMEONE WHO ACTUALLY ATE THAT KIND OF FRUIT." Luffy asks, "ARE YOU AN IDIOT!I YEAH... MY PARENTS TOOK CARE OF ME WHEN I WAS STILL SMALL... YOU'RE LIKE A SON IN A TREASURE CHEST TOO." Gaimon retorts, "LIVED ON THIS ISLAND BY YOURSELFI WHATI 20 YEARSI CAN'T YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT I'VE BEEN GOING THROUGHI!I" The girl gasps, "YES... 20 YEARS..." Gaimon continues, "I GOT STUCK IN HERE AND I CAN'T GET OUT! I'VE LIVED ON THIS ISLAND LIKE THIS FOR 20 YEARS ALREADY!"

Gaimon rants with connected eyebrows and long hair, "AND EVEN MY EYEBROWS ARE CONNECTED... MY HAIR AND MUSTACHE HAVE ALREADY GROWN THIS LONG, 20 YEARS... WHAT A LONG TIME! THAT'S REALLY STUPID...! WHAT DID YOU SAYI I'M GONNA KILL YOU!" with SFX "PISSED!!". Luffy tries pulling him out, yelling "WHY CAN'T I PULL YOU OUTI STOP! STOP! MY NECK'S GONNA BREAK! IT HURTS! IT HURTS! WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOINGI" Gaimon screams back. The girl asks, "HOW DID YOU GET TO THIS ISLANDI BUT..." Gaimon warns, "MY BODY AND THIS TREASURE CHEST HAVE ALREADY BECOME ONE! IF YOU ARE GOING TO FORCEFULLY PULL ME OUT, THEN MY BODY WILL BE DONE FOR. YOU'RE CRAZY! I HAVEN'T MOVED IN YEARS."

On a rocky shore, Luffy, Nami, and Gaimon continue their talk. Gaimon says, "IT'S NICE BEING A PIRATE, VENTURING FOR TREASURES," while Luffy replies, "I WAS ALSO ONCE A PIRATE!" Gaimon adds, "IT'S EVEN OKAY IF I RISK MY LIFE..." Nami asks, "YOU MENTIONED EARLIER THAT YOU WERE PIRATES RIGHTI" and confirms, "YES, THERE ARE THREE OF US." Luffy pulls out a map and declares, "WE HAVE A NAVIGATIONAL MAP FOR THE 'GRANDLINE'!" Gaimon questions, "DO YOU HAVE ANY MAPSI" In the next exchange, someone asks about the destination: "AND YOU INTEND TO GO TO THE 'GRAND LINE'I" Luffy answers with wide eyes and a huge grin, "WHATI 'ONE PIECE'I I'M GOING FOR 'ONE PIECE'!"

Gaimon laughs loudly as Luffy and Nami react with surprise. Nami sweats, "IS THAT HOW PIRATES ARE SUPPOSED TO TALK...I" while Gaimon chuckles, "OH, I SEE! I DON'T REALLY KNOW HOW TO READ MAPS!" Luffy points at the map and asks, "THIS... UNCLE CAULIFLOWER HEAD, YOU DON'T KNOWI WHICH ONE IS THE 'GRAND LINE'I" Gaimon explains while pointing, "THAT'S THE LAND THAT SEPARATES THE OCEANS." Nami leans in, "DO YOU KNOW THE 'RED LINE'I" and declares while holding up the map, "YES! THERE ARE 2 OCEANS IN THIS WORLD! AND THE LAND THAT SPLITS THE WORLD'S TWO OCEANS IS CALLED THE 'RED LAND'!" SFX: HAHAHAHA, PA!

Nami continues the geography lesson with a dramatic illustration, saying, "DRAW A LINE AROUND THE WORLD ACROSS THE OPPOSITE WAY AND THAT IS THE 'GRAND LINE'!" She explains, "USING THE CITY OF 'RED LINE' AS THE CENTRE," while pointing at the globe diagram marked with RED LINE and GRAND LINE. Luffy and Gaimon listen intently. Luffy realizes, "THAT MEANS WE NEED TO SAIL AROUND THE WORLD!" Nami adds, "'ONE PIECE' IS SURELY IN THAT PLACE! ALSO, IT IS THE MOST DANGEROUS ROUTE! IN HISTORY, ONLY THE PIRATE KING GOLD ROGER HAS CONQUERED THIS ROUTE!" Gaimon warns with a grim face, "...THAT RETURNED FROM THE 'GRAND LINE'... LONG AGO, I SAW PIRATES... IT ALSO HAS ANOTHER NAME... 'THE PIRATE'S GRAVEYARD'... IDIOTS! THAT PLACE IS NOT THAT EASY TO FIND!"

Gaimon recounts a terrifying memory with a flashback of broken pirates: "IT LOOKED LIKE THEY HAD MET SOMETHING HORRID, MAYBE A DREADFUL PIRATE OR PERHAPS A MONSTER. EVERYONE OF THEM HAD LOST THEIR SPIRIT AND LOOKED AS IF THEY WERE DEAD. THEIR FACIAL EXPRESSIONS WERE EVEN MORE PAINFUL TO LOOK AT... NOBODY DARED TO TALK ABOUT IT... YOU COULD SEE FROM THEIR LOOK, THE HORROR OF THE 'GRAND LINE'!" Nami and Luffy react with shock, sweat drops visible. Gaimon concludes, "THAT TREASURE MIGHT BE NOTHING MORE THAN LEGEND. IT'S ALREADY BEEN MORE THAN 20 YEARS SINCE THE BEGINNING OF THE GREAT PIRATE ERA... THE RUMORS ONLY MADE IT MORE AND MORE MYSTERIOUS! I HAVE NO OTHER PROOF THAN THIS."

Luffy sits on a rock smiling as he chats with the large afro-haired man and the short-haired girl. The man growls, "IF A PERSON REALLY FOUND SUCH A TREASURE, HE WOULDN'T TELL ANYBODY!" The girl replies, "THAT IS WHAT A SMART PERSON WOULD DO!" while Luffy wonders aloud, "I THINK THAT THERE IS A BETTER ENDING, RIGHTI IS THAT SOI" The man leans forward shouting, "CAN YOU SEE NOWI 'ONE PIECE' IS ONLY A DREAM INSIDE A DREAM." In the next panels the man sweats and admits, "I DON'T KNOW HOW TO ADAPT TO THE CHANGES IN SITUATIONS!" while Luffy grins confidently, "I WILL SURELY FIND THE TREASURE, BECAUSE I'M ALWAYS LUCKY!" The girl rests her chin on her hand and says, "I JUST CAN'T UNDERSTAND WHERE YOU GET SUCH CONFIDENCE." The man yells, "IT'S BECAUSE I'M NOT MATURE!" Luffy asks, "OH! WHY IS THATI" and the man finishes, "NOW I WILL TELL YOU, WHY I CAN'T LEAVE THIS ISLAND..."

The afro-haired man continues his story as a ship appears in the background. "BECAUSE WE FOUND A MAP THAT SAID... I WAS A PIRATE AND THE SHIP DOCKED ON THIS ISLAND... IT HAPPENED 20 YEARS AGO," he explains. Luffy reacts with surprise, "WHATI" The scene shifts to twenty years earlier: the man, wearing a tricorn hat, kicks an empty treasure chest and shouts, "...EXCEPT FOR THIS BROKEN EMPTY TREASURE CHEST! KA!" Nearby pirates complain, "WE DON'T HAVE TO LOOK FOR IT ANYMORE!" and "...THAT THERE WAS TREASURE ON THIS ISLAND... 200 MEN SEARCHED THIS AREA AND DIDN'T FIND A THING IN THREE WEEKS..." In the present-day panel a younger version of the man labeled "GAIMON (20 YEARS AGO)" stands with the crew. One pirate yells, "HEY GAIMON, WHAT ARE YOU DOINGI WE'RE GONNA LEAVE SOON!" Others call out, "OKAY!" "YEAH!" and "ALL ABOARD EVERYONE!"

Twenty years ago, Gaimon climbs a cliff with a rope, panting "HUFF HUFF" and yelling "GRAB!" as he reaches the top. He stares at a distant mountain and thinks, "BUT, NOBODY HAS EVER CLIMBED UP THERE... WE ONLY SEARCHED AROUND THIS AREA IN THESE THREE WEEKS..." Suddenly his eyes widen in shock: "I COULDN'T BELIEVE WHAT I SAW WITH MY OWN EYES..." Treasure chests sparkle before him. He cries out, "I'VE FOUND IT! IT'S HERE!" with large Japanese SFX "ドオ" and "ッオ". Later he wakes trapped inside one of the chests, screaming "WAY-AAAAA!" while Japanese sound effects "ひゅー ガホッ!!" and "シャ..." appear. He shouts desperately, "HEY, EVERYBODY...!!I"

Gaimon lies on the shore beside the chest, crying "ああああ" as a ship sails away. Narration reads, "THEY... THEY LEFT ME BEHIND" and "BUT MY COMPANIONS HAD LEFT ME." He recalls crawling to shore with SFX "SHA SHA" and "SFX: AAAAAAA..." In the present he tells Luffy, "I CAN'T CLIMB, UNLESS I LEAVE THIS CHEST... LEMME OUT! LEMME OUT!" while Japanese SFX "KALA-" and "GYAAAAA!!" appear. He declares, "THIS TREASURE IS ALL MINE! THIS IS VERY GOOD!" and realizes, "WAIT! THAT MEANS THAT..." In the final panels he glares through a spyglass and recounts, "THEY WERE ALL PIRATES LOOKING FOR THE TREASURE, BUT I USED THE 'FOREST JUDGEMENT' TO SCARE THEM ALL AWAY. THERE WERE MANY TIMES... YES! PEOPLE CAME... NO ONE CAME TO THIS ISLAND IN THE PAST 20 YEARSI" Luffy stands listening as Gaimon yells, "EVERYONE, COME BACK!!" with more crying SFX.

Gaimon clings desperately to the treasure chest on the cliff edge, shouting, "THAT TREASURE IS ALL MINE! I'VE ONLY BEEN ABLE TO PROTECT THE TREASURE THESE PAST 20 YEARS! BUT I'VE BEEN STUCK IN THIS CHEST!" In the next panel he insists, "I'M VERY SURE THAT THERE'S A LOT OF TREASURE IN THAT LARGE ROCK HILL! MY EYES WERE NEVER WRONG!" Luffy, lying down, points and says, "THOSE ARE YOURS, UNCLE!" The girl beside him agrees, "UH! THAT'S RIGHT!" Gaimon roars back, "DON'T SPEAK NONSENSE! I HAVE PRINCIPLES TOO!" The girl snaps, "AREN'T YOU A PROFESSIONAL THIEF THAT STEALS TREASURE FROM PIRATESI" Luffy asks curiously, "WHATI IS THAT TRUEI THAT'S VERY NICE!" The girl then declares, "OKAY! GAIMON-SAN!! WE'LL HELP YOU BRING DOWN THOSE TREASURES!" Gaimon, moved, replies, "I KNEW I HADN'T MIS-JUDGED YOU!"

Luffy stands before the massive cliff as a loud SFX "どーん" echoes. He thinks, "THIS IS IT... IT'S BEEN A LONG TIME... SINCE THE LAST TIME I CAME HERE." Gaimon, still inside the chest, cries out, "TODAY IS THE HAPPIEST DAY OF MY LIFE! I'VE WAITED FOR THIS MOMENT SO LONG." Luffy asks, "I'VE WAITED FOR THIS MOMENT SO LONG, DAMN! DAMN! THE TREASURE IS JUST UP THERE, BUT I... ASKED ANYONE TO HELP YOU BEFOREI BUT WHY HAVEN'T YOUI" Gaimon answers with anguish, "ANYONE WHO SEES ME LIKE THIS WOULDN'T BELIEVE ME ANYWAY BECAUSE I DON'T TRUST ANYBODY! AND"

Luffy grins and says, "OKAY... I'M COUNTING ON YOU, STRAW-HAT KID." Gaimon replies, "OF COURSE! DO YOU THINK THAT I CAN CLIMB THISI" The girl asks, "YOU WANT ME TO GO UP THEREI" Luffy answers, "GO FOR IT! OKAY..." SFX: TAP! With a mighty leap, Luffy launches upward as SFX "バシュッ" and "ズッ" sound. The girl watches in awe, shouting "WOW!!" Gaimon's massive stretched hand reaches from below with SFX "びよーん" and "STREEETCH", grabbing the cliff as he yells "GRAB!" Gaimon screams in effort, "OOHHH!!"

Gaimon climbs higher, shouting, "QUICK! DROP THEM HERE! THAT'S GREAT!! THERE ARE FIVE OF THEM!" He laughs, "WAHA-HAHA-HAHA! BUT DON'T HIT ME!" Luffy calls from above, "THERE REALLY ARE SOME TREASURE CHESTS UP HERE!" Gaimon, dangling from the chest, reacts in shock, "WHATI" Luffy yells down, "NO WAY!" The girl looks up in alarm and shouts, "STOP JOKING AROUND, AND DROP THE TREASURE CHESTS, NOW! WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU TALKING ABOUTI"

The short-haired girl in the striped shirt stands with her back to the viewer, fists clenched, shouting up at the distant figure on the cliff. "FORGET ABOUT IT! IT'S OKAY IF HE DOESN'T WANT TO DROP THEM HERE!" "DON'T YOU DARE COME DOWN HERE AGAIN!" A voice from above replies, "I DON'T WANNA DO THAT! HURRY UP AND DROP THEM TO ME!" The girl with the afro whirls around in protest, "HOW CAN THAT BE OKAYI THAT'S YOUR TREASURE!" Below, Gaimon grips the edge of a wooden chest, sweat flying, and tells Luffy, "YOU ARE A GOOD PERSON..." Luffy, seen from behind in his straw hat, murmurs, "STRAW-HAT KID..." In the next panel Luffy sits on the chest, hand to his chin, thinking hard. "BUT, I ALWAYS TRY HARD NOT TO THINK ABOUT IT..." "IT MIGHT BE A POSSIBILITY..." The girl spins toward him in shock, "WHAT!I WHAT ARE YOU SAYING!I" A heavy "DOSU" impact sound punctuates the moment.

Gaimon slumps over the chest, face drenched in sweat and tears, one hand clutching his head. "THE TREASURE CHESTS... ARE EMPTY, AREN'T THEYI" SFX: SOB SOB... The left panel shows him sobbing, "ACTUALLY THE TREASURE DID EXIST..." "BUT, BY THE TIME WE FOUND THE MAP, THE TREASURE HAD ALREADY BEEN TAKEN BY OTHER PEOPLE..." The wide center panel reveals several open, empty chests scattered across the ground. The short-haired girl stares in horror, eyes wide and mouth agape, "AH!!" "UH!!" "THEY'RE ALL EMPTY!"

Luffy rubs his chin thoughtfully. The girl looks back at the empty chests and says, "IS JUST A BUNCH OF EMPTY CHESTS!" "HOW CAN THAT BE... THE TREASURE YOU GUARDED FOR 20 YEARS..." Gaimon cries out, "'CAUSE IF IT HAD BEEN 30 YEARS, YOU MIGHT'VE ALREADY BE DEAD!" Luffy bursts into loud laughter, head thrown back, "DON'T BE SO DISAPPOINTED, UNCLE! YOU MEETING US AFTER THESE 20 YEARS IS A REALLY GOOD THING TOO!" SFX: HAHAHAHAHA. The afro-haired man stares in disbelief, "YOU'RE INVITING MEI" Luffy leans forward with sparkling eyes, "WILL YOU JOIN US, UNCLEI DON'T WORRY, THERE IS STILL THE GREAT TREASURE 'ONE PIECE' WAITING FOR US!" The girl watches quietly, murmuring, "LUFFY..."

On a cliff overlooking the sea, Luffy stands holding a long staff, the short-haired girl beside him. She asks, "ARE YOU SURE YOU'RE REALLY GOING TO STAY ON THIS ISLANDI" Gaimon answers from off-panel, "UNCLE..." Luffy replies, "WHYI" Gaimon continues, "BUT I STILL WANT TO BE THE 'FOREST GUARDIAN'." The girl smiles, "THANK YOU FOR INVITING ME... YES!!" Gaimon, gripping the chest, explains with fierce determination, "AND LIVING HERE FOR 20 YEARS MADE ME GROWN TO LOVE THOSE ANIMALS. I CAN'T LEAVE THEM BEHIND!" The girl points toward the forest, "YOU'RE RIGHT! I SAW A STRANGE SNAKE AND PIG!" Gaimon adds, "THERE WERE MANY PEOPLE WHO CAME TO THIS ISLAND TO GET THOSE ANIMALS, BECAUSE THERE ARE MANY RARE ANIMALS IN THIS FOREST..." SFX: SHA SHA

Luffy stands on the shore smiling at Gaimon in his barrel and says, "IT'S TOO BAD, YOU ARE AN INTERESTING PERSON, UNCLE!" Gaimon, perched on the dock, replies, "I CAN NOW LIVE IN THIS ISLAND MORE COMFORTABLY" and adds, "NOW THAT THERE ARE NO MORE TREASURES, I FEEL SOMEWHAT RELIEVED." An enraged Gaimon then roars, "I'M GONNA KILL YOU! YOU'RE A RARE AND PRECIOUS ANIMAL TOO, UNCLE!" In the next sequence Luffy waves and shouts, "SEE YA!" while the girl beside him calls out. Luffy excitedly declares, "THAT'S RIGHT! I CAN DO IT!" and continues, "AND ALSO FIND THE 'ONE PIECE', THEN BUY THE WHOLE WORLD!" Gaimon smiles warmly from the dock and answers, "I'M SURE YOU'LL FIND GOOD COMPANIONS FOR YOUR CREW!" The final wide panel shows the Straw Hat ship sailing away from the island of rare animals. A box reads, "THE BOATS SAIL TOWARDS THE 'GRAND LINE' ONCE AGAIN." Another caption states, "AFTER LEAVING GAIMON-SAN," as Gaimon watches from the beach surrounded by the island's creatures.
