AN ISLAND IN CARNAGE

In a stone fortress under attack, a silhouetted figure leaps with a rifle shouting "GET READY TO ATTACK!!! GET THE CANNONS READY!!!" while an enemy in a striped outfit aims a massive cannon yelling "ENEMY ATTACK!!!". Below, soldiers scramble as orders ring out: "GUNNER SQUAD, GIVE SUPPORT FROM THE REAR!! LOWER THE DRAWBRIDGE!!" and "PREPARE THE CAVALRY! OPEN THE GATES!!". A large cannon barrel swings with SFX "ギギィ" and musical notes "ワンダバダバダバ". In the lower panels, a soldier commands "OPEN THE GUN PORTS!! START THE BOMBARDMENT!!" as armored cavalry on horseback charge forward with cries "HIHIIN!!" "UWOOOH!!!" and SFX "ウワオオオ" "ガァァァ".

Marines in caps fire a massive cannon with loud "ビカン!!" SFX and "FIRE!!", one reacting "EHI". Smoke billows as the blast erupts. In the next panel, a tall figure in a dark coat adorned with many small faces smokes a pipe, surrounded by speech bubbles "BLOW 'EM AWAY!" "PAN!" "FIRE!" and SFX "わ" "PAN!". Below, on a battlefield before a domed fortress, a Marine shouts "THERE'S SOMETHING INSIDE HIS BODY!!!" while another yells "WHAT!I" as they aim rifles at the central coated figure standing amid explosions and running soldiers.

Cannon ports fire black cannonballs with sounds "GUN!!" "GUGU..." "HYUN". Marines react in panic: "EH!I IT GOT BIGG-" "...!I". A massive explosion erupts with "オワアアアHH!!!" and impact SFX "ドゴォン!!" Horses and soldiers burst violently from Capone Bege's body in a massive stampede. Men scream in panic as the creatures charge outward. "OF HIS STOMACH!!" "SOMETHING'S COMING OUT!!" "WHAT'S GOING ON!I" "UWOOO-OOHH!!" "FROM HIS BODY!!!" "HORSES CAME OUT!!!" Bege stands amid the chaos, coat billowing, as more mounted soldiers pour forth. "CAPONE 'GANG' BEGE!!" "SOLDIERS KEEP COMING OUT!!!" In a close-up, Bege glares with a cigar in his mouth, declaring, "I TOLD YOU, MY MILITARY POWER IS GREATER.....!!!!" A shocked voice replies, "JUST WHAT KIND OF POWER DOES THAT MAN HAVE!!I"

Panic spreads across the harbor at Grove 27 as people flee in terror. "HEY, DID YOU HEAR ME!I" "EVEN THE SHICHIBUKAI ARE ON THE MOVE!" "REALLY!I WHO IS IT!!!" "RUN AWAY! RUN AWAY!!" "KIZARU'S HERE!!" A massive figure in a dark coat grips a glowing beam of light, arm marked with tattoos, as energy crackles. "ZEEH... ZEEH...!!!" Nearby, a bloodied man with a scar grins nervously. "... ALL THIS TIME, I WAS JUST LOOKING OUT FOR THE ADMIRAL...!!!" Another figure mutters, "LOOKS LIKE IT WON'T BE SO EASY TO GET AWAY..." "WHEN I'M RIGHT BY THE MARINE HEAD-QUARTERS...!!!"

Meanwhile at Grove 24, chaos continues as civilians flee. "PLEASE, JUST GET AWAY!!!" "CAPTAIN HAWKINS!!!" Basil Hawkins stands calmly, cards floating around him displaying probability readings. "'ESCAPE,' PROBABILITY OF SUCCESS... 12%." "'COMBAT,' PROBABILITY OF DEFEAT... 100%." "'DEFENSE,' PROBABILITY OF EVASION... 76%." "'SURVIVAL,' PROBABILITY OF DEATH...!!!" A tall man in a striped suit and cape approaches. "I'M LOOKING FOR A MAN NAMED 'SENTOMARU.'" Hawkins replies, "IF YOU HAVE A MINUTE..." A voice calls out, "CAPTAIN!!!"

Hawkins' cards shift, showing "0%." The tall man in the cape speaks. "AND YOU KNOW, I CAN'T JUST LEAVE A HEAD LYING AROUND." Hawkins answers, "WELL, YOU KNOW... IF I CAN'T FIND HIM..." "OH... THEN I'VE GOT ALL THIS TIME..." "I DON'T KNOW THAT MAN. ASK SOMEONE ELSE..." A close-up reveals the man's sunglasses as he states, "SPEED IS 'WEIGHT.'" "HAVE YOU EVER BEEN KICKED AT THE LIGHTI" From afar, someone shouts, "BASIL HAWKINS...!!!"

A long-haired man stares with wide-eyed shock, sweat flying. In the next panel a striped-coated figure is violently struck, leg extended in a powerful kick that sends the victim reeling. Massive impact SFX erupts across the harbor as debris and smoke explode outward. Below, a cloaked captain bearing a bold "正" emblem stands amid the blast, coat billowing. A voice cries out "CAPTAIN!!!" as rubble rains down.

Panic erupts across Grove 27 Harbor. "BLOOD JUST FLEW OUT OF HIS HEAD ALL OF A SUDDEN!!!" someone yells as the striped-coated pirate reels. "HEY!!! WHAT HAPPENED!!I" another shouts. "HEY, WHAT'S WRONG!!I" a third cries while "GYAAAHH!!!" rings out. In Grove 24 a sunglasses-wearing man smirks, "e z r!" Nearby voices wonder "... HE'S SO STRONG...!!!" and "HMI IS HE STILL GOINGI" A massive circular blast erupts again around the cloaked captain amid flying debris and smoke.

Chaos spreads through Archipelago Harbor. "WHERE'RE THEY ATTACKING FROM!!I" a pirate demands as fighters are hurled about. "H... HEY, WHAT WAS THAT JUST NOW...I HE...!!! HE SUDDENLY TURNED BLACK!!!" another exclaims amid "EH!I" and "GUWAAA!!!" cries. "HURRY, GET AWAY!!" someone urges. In Grove 24 the cloaked captain stands silently while a skull-masked figure and another crewmate watch. "CAPTAIN..." one whispers. A sunglasses-wearing man grins at the long-haired cross-marked figure, saying "HOW STRANGE..." and "AS EXPECTED... YOU'RE FAR STRONGER THAN I EVER IMAGINED..."

The long-haired cross-marked man warns "JUST ISN'T WISE..." as impacts "バリ バリ バリ...!!" and "ズ ズ ズ... ズ..." echo. "FACING AN ADMIRAL WITH JUST 10 BODIES" he notes. A massive strike sends a spiked fighter crashing down with "DOUU...!!!" and "サッ...!!!" SFX. The cloaked captain watches as the long-haired man stands over the fallen foe. Onlookers react in horror: "IT CAN'T BE... THAT'S... KIZARU!!!" "MAN... WHAT STRENGTH...!!!" and "THAT'S...! THE 'MONSTER MONK' UROUGE!!!" fill the air while Kizaru looms nearby.

A tense standoff unfolds on the street. A fallen figure lies sprawled on the ground as a tall silhouette with a massive cross-shaped weapon looms nearby. Someone warns, "...DON'T BE SO HASTY. Hawkins, cloaked and composed, remarks, "YOU MIGHT BE MY ENEMY, BUT I'M GRATEFUL FOR THE JOKE...!!" and notes, "HAWKINS FROM 'NORTH BLUE,' HUH...I FUFUFU." A sudden, violent clash erupts as a cloaked fighter launches a devastating strike, the impact marked by massive SFX "ドゴォン！！" and "!!I". Rear Admiral Drake appears in close-up, grinning behind sunglasses, while a panicked voice shouts, "REAR ADMIRAL DRAKE... X DRAKE!!! WHY!I" Another cries, "ANOTHER GUY JUST CHARGED IN!!! WHAT!!!"

The fight intensifies. A long-haired figure screams in pain, "AAAHH~...モゴ...モゴ" as a massive, bead-necklaced warrior with flame tattoos on his arms roars, "LET'S SEE HOW MY COUNTER-ATTACK GOES...!!!!" The giant fighter declares, "YOU BEAT ME UP QUITE A BIT... BUT NOW... IT'S TIME TO SEE IF I REALLY HAVE ANY HOPE..." while a voice in the background mutters, "DAMN... I NEVER INTENDED TO RUN INTO KIZARU." Panic spreads among bystanders: "THIS IS BAD!! THEY'RE ALL GONNA DIE!! THIS IS OUR CHANCE TO RUN, ISN'T IT!I" One observer laughs wildly, "UHAHAH!! LOOK, THIS IS TURNING INTO AN UNBELIEVABLE SITUATION! THIS IS INTERESTING!!"

In Grove 12, chaos erupts among the Straw Hats and allies. A voice yells, "HE'S ONE OF THE SHICHIBUKAI!!! GET BACK, LUFFY!!!" A tall figure in a dark cloak stands imposingly as the crew reacts in shock. Trafalgar Law mutters, "OU...!" while a massive shockwave erupts with SFX "キューーー...」 and "PUUN!!" Nami and another crewmate scream, "DON'T LET HIM HIT YOU WITH THAT ATTACK!!! IT'S A SHOCKWAVE!!! SHICHIBUKAI!I HOW COME... YOU GUYS ALL KNOW HIM!I"

A colossal explosion rocks the area with SFX "ズガァン」 and "OWAH!!" as debris flies. The crew reacts in horror: Chopper yells, "THAT WAS...!!!!" while Nami shouts, "HEEY!! THAT WASN'T A SHOCKWAVE!!" Usopp panics, "WHAT WAS THAT!I SINCE WHEN COULD HE DO THAT!!!" and "WHAT'S GOING ON!I GUOH!!" Someone recognizes the attacker: "BARTHOLOMEW KUMA...!!!! NOT HIM AGAIN!!!" Luffy roars, "THIS ISN'T THE TIME FOR THAT, YOU MORONS!!!" as a massive blast erupts with the sound "A BEEEAM~!!!" and cries of "...!!!! THAT BASTARD...!!!"

The crew discusses their attacker. "But he must have realized we survived, and came after us again. He meant to finish us off at the time," one says. Another adds, "By shooting shockwaves from the paws on his palms." "Yeah!! This is the guy! That time, he got us," a voice confirms. "Is that the guy who came after I was out at Thriller Bark!I" Luffy asks. The scene flashes back: "BACK THEN!!!" A massive figure looms as an ally is struck. "You really did a number on us..." In the present, Franky unleashes a devastating blast. "COUP DE VENT"!!! The powerful wind attack sends debris flying as the enemy is hurled away.

The massive strike connects with explosive force, sending the target flying amid debris and impact lines. "!!I" A close-up shows Luffy activating his powers. "Luffy!I" Brook shouts in shock. "EH!!" Luffy declares, "GEAR SECOND!!!" as steam erupts around him. "SO I'LL GO ALL OUT FROM THE START!!! I KNOW YOU'RE STRONG..." he yells with intense focus, while the large figure in the hat watches silently from the side.

Tense reactions fill the panels. "Something's weird...compared to before...somehow... The atmosphere is wrong... Is it just my imagination!I" one mutters. Zoro stands ready with swords. "We've got no choice... That first time, we had just finished with Oz. It's gonna be different now when we're fresh...!!!" Sanji declares. A distant view of Grove 36 shows chaos. "Why haven't you contacted me, Uncle Kizaru...!I The battleship should already have arrived. Strange... He's late..." Sentomaru wonders. Luffy's face hardens: "They're all going to be...
