IT'S ALRIGHT!

The page opens with close-up shots of the defeated Baroque Works agents. Miss Valentine is shown falling backward, unconscious, with her eyes blank and her hat flying off. Next to her, Mr. 5 lies face down in the rubble, completely knocked out, his sunglasses askew on his face. Below them, Luffy and Zoro stand amidst the dust and debris of the destroyed buildings in Whisky Peak. Zoro, holding his swords, looks annoyed and mutters, "SO DAMN ANNOYING..." Luffy, standing with his fists clenched and a serious expression, asks, "WHO THE HELL ARE THEY, ANYWAYS?"

Vivi, sitting on the back of her giant duck Karoo, watches the scene in absolute shock. She sweats nervously and thinks, "IT... CAN'T BE...! HOW COULD THERE BE GUYS AS STRONG AS THEM SO CLOSE TO GRAND LINE'S ENTRANCE!?" Nami is also visible sitting behind Vivi on Karoo. Zoro glares intensely at Luffy, his eye twitching, and asks, "SHOULD WE CONTINUE THEN?" Luffy glares right back with equal intensity and replies, "YEAH." Without hesitation, the two of them lunge at each other again, resuming their fierce brawl. Luffy throws a powerful punch, yelling, "URYA-AAAA!" Zoro braces himself, grunting, "NGH!" as they clash amidst the ruins.

Suddenly, Nami intervenes, delivering a comical but brutal double punch to the tops of both Luffy and Zoro's heads simultaneously. She screams, "STOP IT!" Both Luffy and Zoro are smashed face-first into the ground, grunting, "UGH!" in pain. Nami stands over their groaning bodies, hands on her hips, absolutely furious. "JUST WHAT THE HECK DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING!?" she demands. Vivi watches from the background, completely stunned by Nami's outburst. Nami then grabs both Luffy and Zoro by their collars, lifting their heads off the ground and shaking them violently. She yells in their faces, "BUT YOU WERE ABOUT TO COST ME MY 1 BILLION BELI!! DO YOU UNDERSTAND!?" Luffy and Zoro look dazed and battered.

Vivi, still sitting on Karoo, looks confused and asks, "WHAT'RE YOU PEOPLE TALKING ABOUT...?" Nami pauses, realizing she hasn't explained the situation. "AH, THAT'S RIGHT," she says. Nami then casually sits down on the backs of the defeated Luffy and Zoro, using them as a makeshift chair. She smiles sweetly at Vivi and says, "YOU DON'T KNOW ANYTHING YET... HOW WOULD YOU LIKE TO MAKE A CONTRACT WITH ME?" Vivi is taken aback by the offer. "A CONTRACT?" Underneath Nami, Luffy and Zoro begin to struggle and complain, trying to get up. Nami casually stomps her foot down on them, yelling, "SETTLE DOWN ALREADY!" as they flail beneath her.

From off-screen, Igaram's voice laughs heartily, "NAHAHAHAHA!" Luffy, now sitting up on the ground, laughs along, "AHAHAHAHA! WELL, WHATEVER. WHAT'S DONE IS DONE!" He also says cheerfully, rubbing his head, "I THOUGHT YOU WENT AND CUT ALL THOSE PEOPLE UP BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T COOK YOUR FAVOURITE FOOD OR SOMETHING! JEEZ, YOU SHOULD'VE SAID SO EARLIER!" Zoro snaps back, "WHO DO YOU THINK I AM, YOU!?" Vivi, however, looks resolute and states firmly, "I REFUSE!" Nami is shocked by the rejection. "WHAT, WHY? YOU'RE A PRINCESS, RIGHT!? A BILLION BELI SHOULD BE LIKE NOTHING FOR A PRINCESS..." Vivi maintains her serious expression and tells Nami, "BUT YOU HAVE MY GRATITUDE FOR SAVING ME JUST NOW."

Vivi begins to explain her situation. "HAVE YOU HEARD OF A KINGDOM CALLED ALABASTA?" Zoro, sitting on a barrel, replies, "NO, CAN'T SAY THAT I HAVE." Nami, standing nearby, says, "IT'S A HIGHLY CIVILIZED COUNTRY WITHIN GRAND LINE, AND IT USED TO BE A PEACEFUL ONE AT THAT TOO... LONG AGO..." Vivi continues her story, while Nami asks, "LONG AGO?" Vivi explains, "THE PAST FEW YEARS HAVE BEEN MIRED BY REVOLUTIONARY ACTIVITIES. DUE TO RADICAL ALABASTAN REVOLUTIONARIES, MY COUNTRY IS CURRENTLY IN A STATE OF CHAOS. ONE DAY, I HAPPENED TO HEAR OF A CERTAIN ORGANIZATION. THAT ORGANIZATION WAS 'BAROQUE WORKS.' APPARENTLY, IT WAS BAROQUE WORKS WHO HAD BEEN INSTIGATING THE REVOLUTIONARIES. BUT OTHER THAN THAT FACT, I DIDN'T KNOW ANYTHING ELSE NOR COULD I DO ANYTHING ABOUT BAROQUE WORKS."

Vivi elaborates on her plan: "AND SO, I MADE A REQUEST TO IGARAM, WHO'S BEEN WATCHING OVER ME EVER SINCE I WAS A KID... I ASKED IGARAM IF THERE WERE ANY WAY I COULD INFILTRATE BAROQUE WORKS... EVEN THOUGH WHAT I HAD HEARD MAY OR MAY NOT BE JUST A RUMOUR, BECAUSE THAT WOULD BE THE ONLY WAY TO CLEAR AWAY THE DARK SHADOW THAT LOOMS OVER ALABASTA AND DETERMINE JUST WHAT EXACTLY IS BAROQUE WORK'S OBJECTIVE ONCE AND FOR ALL..." Luffy, casually picking his nose while sitting on a barrel, asks, "YOU MEAN THAT GUY WITH THE CHIKUWA HAIR?" Nami remarks, "WELL AREN'T YOU A BRAVE PRINCESS. SO WHAT EXACTLY IS THE DEAL WITH THIS 'CREATION OF AN IDEAL NATION' THAT BAROQUE WORKS IS APPARENTLY SCHEMING TOWARDS?" Vivi looks distressed. "WAIT, DON'T TELL ME... YES, IT'S AS YOU MIGHT SUSPECT. ALTHOUGH THE BOSS HAS HINTED AT A GOAL OF CREATING AN IDEAL NATION, BAROQUE WORKS' TRUE OBJECTIVE IS TO TAKE OVER THE KINGDOM OF ALABASTA! AND IF I DON'T HURRY BACK TO MY HOME COUNTRY TO STOP THE REVOLUTIONARIES AND TELL THE PEOPLE ABOUT BAROQUE WORKS, THINGS WILL GO EXACTLY AS THEY PLANNED!"

Nami understands the situation better now. "I SEE... I GUESS THAT EXPLAINS WHY YOU REFUSED. A COUNTRY IN THE MIDDLE OF A CIVIL STRIFE WOULDN'T HAVE ANY MONEY TO SPARE." Luffy asks casually, "SO WHO IS THIS BOSS DUDE ANYWAYS?" Vivi panics, waving her hands frantically. "YOU MEAN THE BOSS' TRUE IDENTITY!? PLEASE DON'T ASK ME! IN FACT, YOU'RE BETTER OFF NOT KNOWING! IF YOU KNEW, BAROQUE WORKS WOULD COME AND HUNT YOU DOWN..." Nami laughs it off, "HAHAHA. YEAH, JUST LEAVE US OUT OF IT. I MEAN, A GUY WHO'S PLANNING TO TAKE OVER AN ENTIRE COUNTRY MUST BE ONE INCREDIBLY DANGEROUS PERSON!" Vivi blurts out the truth in her panic: "YES, EXACTLY. NO MATTER HOW STRONG YOU PIRATES MAY BE, YOU'D BE NO MATCH FOR CROCODILE, A MEMBER OF THE OUKA SHICHIBUKAI!" Nami and Zoro freeze in absolute shock, their jaws dropping open in exaggerated, comical expressions of horror. Zoro sweats and points out, "DIDN'T YOU JUST SAY HIS NAME...?"

As the group stands in the ruined town, two strange figures pop up from behind a nearby white wall. One is a large bird wearing aviator goggles and a headset. The other is an otter wearing a spotted hood and sunglasses, carrying a sketchpad and pencil. The otter quickly sketches something on its pad while observing Nami, Zoro, and Luffy. After finishing, the otter hops onto the back of the bird. The bird spreads its large black wings and takes flight, soaring away into the sky, leaving the group behind.

Nami grabs Vivi by the collar and shakes her violently, her face contorted in rage with sharp teeth. "WHAT WAS THAT BIRD AND OTTER JUST NOW!? DID THEY GO TO REPORT THAT YOU'VE TOLD US THE BOSS' SECRET!? WELL!? WHAT'S GONNA HAPPEN TO US NOW!?" Zoro looks surprised, "A SHICHIBUKAI, SHE SAID! WHOA!" Luffy just laughs, "HEH, NOT BAD." Vivi cries as she is shaken, "I'M SORRY I'M SORRY! I... I'M REALLY SORRY! IT JUST ACCIDENTALLY SLIPPED OUT!" Nami continues to yell, "YOU THINK SAYING IT ACCIDENTALLY MAKES THIS ANY BETTER!? WHY DO WE HAVE TO BECOME HUNTED DOWN BECAUSE OF A SINGLE SLIP-UP FROM YOU!?" Zoro notes the danger, "WE JUST BARELY ENTERED GRAND LINE AND ALREADY WE HAVE A SHICHIBUKAI CHASING AFTER US...!" Luffy, however, is excited. "YEAH, WE'RE REAL LUCKY TO BE ABLE TO MEET HIM SO EARLY. I WONDER WHAT KIND OF GUY HE IS?" Nami screams at both of them, "SHUT UP, YOU TWO!" She then turns and starts walking away briskly with her bags. Zoro asks, "WHERE'RE YA GOING, NAMI?" Nami replies over her shoulder, "IT'S BEEN A REAL SHORT TIME TRAVELLING WITH YOU BUT BYE! THEY DON'T KNOW MY FACE YET SO I'M RUNNING AWAY!"

A brief flashback shows the otter rapidly sketching portraits of Nami, Zoro, and Luffy on its pad, showing the drawings to the bird. Nami realizes this and screams in despair, "NOW I CAN'T EVEN RUN AWAY!" Zoro smirks, "INTERESTING BUNCH, THOSE ANIMALS." Luffy asks Nami, "WHERE WERE YOU EVEN PLANNING TO RUN AWAY TO?" Zoro smiles confidently, "IN ANY CASE, WITH THIS, ALL 3 OF US ARE NOW ON BAROQUE WORKS' HIT LIST..." Luffy grins widely, "THIS IS SO COOOOL!" Vivi bows deeply to Nami, apologizing profusely. "S-SORRY... I... I HAVE 500,000 IN MY SAVINGS ACCOUNT THAT YOU CAN HAVE THOUGH..." Hearing the amount of money, Nami instantly changes her demeanor, striking a heroic pose and yelling, "FEAR NOT!"

Suddenly, Igaram appears, but he is bizarrely dressed exactly like Vivi. He wears a similar outfit, a long wig, and has fake breasts made of spheres with faces drawn on them. He strikes a dramatic pose and announces, "I HAVE A PLAN! IT'LL BE ARRI-MA MA MAA~ IT'LL BE ALRIGHT!" Nami, Luffy, and Vivi stare at him in utter disbelief. Nami yells, "IGARAM!? W-WHAT'S WITH THAT OUTFIT!?" Luffy, however, is impressed, "WHOA! YOU CAN DEFINITELY PULL OFF THAT LOOK!" Zoro mutters, "I'M SURROUNDED BY IDIOTS..." Igaram ignores their reactions and gets serious. "ENOUGH ABOUT THAT AND JUST LISTEN TO ME. ONCE THE BAROQUE WORKS NETWORK LEARNS OF WHAT HAPPENED, THEY'LL BE SURE TO SEND PURSUERS RIGHT AWAY. MORE SO, SINCE YOU EVEN DEFEATED MR. 5 AND HIS PARTNER...! JUST TO LET YOU KNOW, ALTHOUGH THE BOSS HAS NO BOUNTY ON HIM SINCE HE'S NOW A MEMBER OF THE SHICHIBUKAI, BACK IN HIS HEYDAYS AS A PIRATE, CROCODILE HAD AN 80 MILLION BELI BOUNTY."

Nami is internally panicking at the news. She thinks, "80 MILLION!? THAT'S FOUR TIMES ARLONG'S BOUNTY! JUST REFUSE HIS REQUEST!" Igaram asks the group, "BY THE WAY, HAVE YOU DECIDED ON WHETHER OR NOT TO SAFELY ESCORT THE PRINCESS BACK TO ALABASTA YET?" Luffy is confused, "HUH? WHAT'RE YOU TALKING ABOUT?" Zoro clarifies, "HE MEANS HE WANTS US TO TAKE HER BACK HOME." Luffy says, "OH." Nami quickly agrees, hiding her fear, "SURE, FINE BY ME." Igaram turns to Vivi, "NOW THEN, PRINCESS. PLEASE HAND ME THE ETERNAL POSE TO ALABASTA." Vivi looks confused, "HUH? WHAT'S AN ETERNAL POSE?" Igaram explains, "HM? YOU DON'T KNOW? SIMPLY PUT, IT'S A LOG POSE THAT CAN ETERNALLY RECORD A MAGNETIC FIELD. A NORMAL LOG POSE RECORDS THE MAGNETIC FIELD OF AN ISLAND TO GUIDE A SHIP FROM ISLAND TO ISLAND."

Igaram holds up an hourglass-shaped device with a compass needle inside. "THAT IS WHAT AN ETERNAL POSE IS. HOWEVER, THE MAGNETIC FIELD RECORDED BY AN ETERNAL POSE IS NEVER FORGOTTEN. NO MATTER WHERE YOU GO, IT WILL ONLY POINT TO THAT VERY ISLAND. THIS ONE IN PARTICULAR HAS RECORDED THE MAGNETIC FIELD OF ALABASTA." He outlines his decoy plan: "NOW THEN, PRINCESS VIVI. I SHALL TAKE THIS LOG POSE AND SET FORTH FOR ALABASTA, WHILE DRESSING UP AS YOU AND TAKING THESE 3 DUMMIES TO REPRESENT THESE 3 WANTED PIRATES. AND WHILE AGENTS OF BAROQUE WORKS CHASE AFTER ME, YOU ARE TO TRAVEL ON THE NORMAL ROUTE TO ALABASTA ON THEIR SHIP. I HAVEN'T SAILED TO ALABASTA USING THE NORMAL ROUTE MYSELF BUT THERE SHOULD BE AROUND 2 OR 3 LOGS TO RECORD ALONG THE WAY. TAKE CARE, AND MAY WE MEET AGAIN IN OUR HOMELAND."

Igaram stands by a ship, ready to depart. He tells the pirates, "I HEREBY LEAVE THE PRINCESS IN YOUR CARE." Zoro smirks, "I BET YOU'LL TOTALLY FOOL THEM!" Luffy asks, "FOOL WHO?" Igaram shakes Vivi's hand firmly. "THE JOURNEY AHEAD OF YOU MAY BE DANGEROUS SO PLEASE BE CAREFUL." Vivi replies, "YOU TOO, IGARAM." As Igaram's ship sails away into the distance, Luffy watches and says, "AWW, HE LEFT... HE WAS SUCH A FUNNY GUY TOO..." Vivi says softly, "HE'S ALWAYS BEEN SO DEPENDABLE." A close-up of Igaram's face shows his determination as he thinks, "FAREWELL, PRINCESS VIVI...! I HAVE COMPLETE CONFIDENCE THAT YOU'LL BE ABLE TO SAVE OUR KINGDOM!"

Suddenly, a massive explosion erupts on the water, completely engulfing Igaram's ship in a towering inferno of flames and thick black smoke. The blast is huge, sending shockwaves across the sea. On the shore, Vivi, Nami, Zoro, and Luffy are shown in silhouette, staring in absolute shock at the sudden destruction of the decoy ship.

Vivi, Nami, Zoro, and Luffy look on in horror at the burning wreckage of Igaram's ship. Vivi whispers in disbelief, "IT CAN'T BE..." Nami panics, "PURSUERS!? ALREADY!?" Luffy pulls his straw hat down over his eyes, his expression turning deadly serious. "HE WAS A FINE MAN! NAMI! HOW'S THE LOG!?" Nami checks the Log Pose on her wrist and stammers, "I-IT FINISHED RECORDING!" Luffy commands decisively, "THEN LET'S HURRY UP AND GET GOING!"

Vivi bites her lip hard, drawing blood as she tries to hold back her tears and emotions over Igaram's apparent death. Nami grabs her by the shoulders and pulls her away. "VIVI! WE HAVE TO HURRY UP! IF THEY FIND US NOW, IGARAM'S SACRIFICE WOULD HAVE BEEN IN VAIN!" Nami pulls Vivi into a tight hug, pressing Vivi's face against her chest to comfort her. "IT'S ALRIGHT! I PROMISE WE'LL SAFELY GET YOU BACK TO ALABASTA!" Zoro watches Nami's resolve and thinks, "THIS GIRL IS STRONG...!" Zoro then turns to Luffy, "LUFFY! GO WAKE THOSE TWO UP AND BRING THEM BACK TO THE SHIP! I'LL BE GOING AHEAD TO THE SHIP FIRST!" Luffy agrees, "ALRIGHT, JUST LEAVE IT TO ME!" Vivi thinks to herself, "THOSE 4 MANAGED TO SAVE ALL OF EAST BLUE ALL BY THEMSELVES...! EVEN A SHICHIBUKAI WON'T STAND A CHANCE AGAINST THEM!" At the bottom of the page, Sanji and Usopp are shown fast asleep on the ground, snoring loudly, completely oblivious to the chaos.
