In closer panels, a masked, armored man with a fierce expression declares, "HOWEVER! FROM WHERE I STAND, THIS GESTURE OF YOURS..." A long-haired woman stands silently nearby. A spiky-haired man with a serious face adds, "I THANK YOU FOR COMING ALL THE WAY OUT HERE IN THE FIRST PLACE." Sanji, smiling confidently with a cigarette, replies, "I DON'T KNOW WHAT IMPULSE YOU'RE ACTING ON THIS TIME, BUT,..."

Sanji continues his harsh speech to Luffy and the others: "WHILE BIG MOM'S CREW NOT ONLY RULES WITH AN IRON FIST BUT HAS THE KINDS OF RICHES AND WEALTH ONE CAN ONLY DREAM OF. YOU GUYS ARE NOTHING BUT A TINY, RAGTAG BUNCH OF DIRT-POOR PIRATES... NOW ASK YOURSELF, WHICH DO YOU THINK WOULD MAKE ME HAPPIERI" Luffy reacts with shock and anger, eyes wide. A small round creature on a carriage yells in panic. Nami shouts desperately, "YOU CAN'T POSSIBLY BELIEVE THE WORDS THAT ARE COMING OUT OF YOUR MOUTHI! THAT'S GOING TOO FAR, SANJI!!" Nearby soldiers in Germa 66 uniforms warn, "YOU'RE ACTING IN DIRECT CONFLICT WITH MY BEST INTERESTS, CAN WE AGREE ON THATI"

Luffy stares in disbelief, "THIS ENTIRE TIME... YOU HAVE BEEN LYING TO US...LYING TO ME...!" Nami gasps, "WH..." Sanji glares coldly as SFX: GLARE!! echoes. He continues, "AND TO MAKE SURE YOU DO JUST THAT, I'LL BEAT IT INTO YOUR BODY. ON GUARD." A fiery kick erupts with smoke and impact lines. Sanji activates his technique, shouting "DIABLE JAMBE!!" as flames engulf his leg. Luffy and the others react in shock: "WHA-WHAT'S THAT GLOWI! FLAMESI!"

Sanji launches a powerful flaming kick, yelling "JOUE SHOT!!" The impact sends Luffy flying backward with smoke and debris. Luffy takes the full force of the blow. Nami watches in horror, screaming. The fiery attack continues to blaze as the clash reaches its peak.

Sanji delivers a powerful spinning kick that slams into Luffy, sending the Straw Hat captain crashing into the ground with a massive impact. Dust and grass erupt as Luffy tumbles violently. "!!I" Luffy reacts mid-fall. In the next panel Sanji follows through with rapid successive kicks, each strike marked by sharp impact lines and "ザザザザザ" sound effects as Luffy is driven backward across the field. A wide shot shows Sanji standing tall in his black suit, smoke rising from his body, while Luffy lies sprawled in the foreground. Sanji turns away, declaring, "FIGHT YOU, SANJI!!" Luffy shouts desperately from behind, "I WILL NOT..." Sanji's expression hardens as he retorts, "SELF-SERVING BASTARD!!! YOU ALWAYS WERE AN ANNOYING..." In the final panels Sanji snarls, "IN THAT CASE... GET THE HELL OUTTA MY SIGHT!!" while Luffy, back to the viewer in his straw hat and coat, refuses, "NOT DOING THAT EITHER."

Luffy takes a brutal hit, his face twisting in pain with cross-shaped impact marks and "!!!" effects exploding around him. Sanji continues the assault with rapid kicks, "ガッ" and "ビシャビシャ" sounds ringing out as Luffy is knocked through the air. Sanji pants heavily, "PANT," then calls out, "HEY, COOK!" Luffy, bloodied and determined, pleads with a wide grin, "AND BE MY NAKAMA! JOIN ME..." Sanji's eyes widen in surprise. In the distance Luffy staggers, "STAGGER," while Sanji watches from afar, still breathing hard.

Nami appears, shouting at Sanji, "DON'T MAKE ANY EXCUSES... WHATEVER HAPPENS HERE... I'M FINE WITH IT..." Sanji snaps back, "NOT ANOTHER WORD, NAMI!!" A background figure explains the situation: "TO GET TO THIS POINT... WE ONLY CAME HERE TO BRING YOU BACK! LUFFY SPENT THE ENTIRE NIGHT... PUTTING HIS LIFE ON THE LINE AGAINST AN ENEMY COMMANDER! HE'S AT HIS LIMIT..." Nami cries out, "SANJI, THAT'S ENOUGH!!" Sanji glares, "YOU'RE FINE WITH ITI!" Luffy is struck again with heavy "ドン" and "バキッ" impacts, his body twisting violently from the force of the blow.

Sanji launches a powerful kick at Luffy, flames erupting as he shouts, "GET YOUR SORRY ASS OUTTA HERE ALREADY!!" Luffy is sent flying backward with a massive impact, "ゴキッ!!" and "バキッ!!" echoing. Nami watches in horror, tears streaming, yelling "YOUR UGLY FACE OFFENDS ME!" and "LUFFY!!" as blood splatters, "SPLURT!!" Luffy lands hard, panting heavily, "PANT... PANT..." Sanji glares intensely and mutters, "DON'T THINK SO." The fight escalates violently as Luffy charges again with a fiery "CONCASSER!!" kick that explodes on impact, sending debris flying. Sanji counters with a devastating strike, the massive onomatopoeia "メコォォン!!!" shaking the ground as both fighters clash in a brutal exchange of blows.

Luffy roars defiantly, "I AIN'T MOVIN' AN INCH," his face bloodied and furious. Nami screams desperately, "STOP! THAT'S ENOUGH! YOU WIN, SANJI! WE'LL LEAVE!!" while a small creature nearby panics. Sanji's expression twists with pain and rage. He delivers a crushing blow labeled "CONCASSER!!" that sends Luffy reeling. Luffy, still standing, pleads earnestly, "YOU'RE NICE AND AN AMAZING CHEF... Sanji stands nearby, breathing heavily. In close-up, Sanji looks conflicted. Germa soldiers comment, "THAT'S JUST PROOF HE'S GOT THAT VINSMOKE BLOOD RUNNING THROUGH HIS VEINS... HIS ATTACK POWER IS OFF THE CHARTS!!" The massive sound effect "ドン!!!!" reverberates across the landscape as the confrontation's aftermath unfolds.

Sanji glares and retorts, "I'VE NEVER HEARD YOU SAY ANYTHING SO FAKE AND FORCED! THIRD-RATE PIRATESI CUT THE CRAP! YOU'RE A TERRIBLE LIAR!!"

Sanji clutches his face in pain, yelling, "I WASN'T THE ONE FEELING THAT PAIN!!! THE MORE YOU KICKED ME... THE HARDER YOU KICKED ME..." Luffy stands firm as a woman asks, "NO, CARRY ON. SHOULD WE STOP, SANJII" Luffy snaps, "I DON'T WANNA HEAR IT!!" A voice adds, "I THINK HE KICKED YOU ONE TOO MANY TIMES IN THE HEAD LUFFY!! I DON'T CARE WHAT HIS REASONS ARE, HE CROSSED THE LINE..." Luffy declares with fierce determination, "OUR ADVENTURES ARE WAITING FOR US!! WE'RE NOT DONE YET!!" Sanji looks up and asks, "TELL ME, HAVE YOU... EVER HEARD OF THE ALL BLUEI"

Luffy screams at the top of his lungs, "IF YOU DON'T COME BACK SOON... THEN THIS WILL BE THE FINAL RESTING SPOT OF MY SHRIVELED UP CORPSE AFTER I STARVE TO DEATH!! I'M NOT BUDGING AN INCH FROM THIS SPOT!!" Sanji, tears streaming, vows, "IN FACT, I'M NOT TAKING ANOTHER BITE OF ANYTHING UNLESS IT COMES FROM YOUR HANDS!!!" Nearby voices complain, "STUPID SANJI MAKING PIG SWILL IN THE KITCHEN AGAIN! THERE'S NO WAY I'M LETTING THE BEST CHEF WALK AWAY SO EASILY!!"

Luffy plants himself firmly and shouts, "I WON'T BE BUDGING FROM THIS SPOT UNTIL YOU COME BACK!! COME HELL OR HIGH WATER!! I'M GOING ON A HUNGER STRIKE!! DON'T MAKE ME WAIT LONG, SANJI!! WITHOUT YOU, I WON'T..." In a massive final declaration he cries out, "BECOME THE PIRATE KING!!! I CAN'T..." The narration states, "WITH THEIR DREAMS YET UNFULFILLED... LUFFY WON'T LET HIM QUIT!!"
