Water Luffy

A clock tower ticks loudly with “tic toc” sounds. A goggled figure shouts, “BUT HOW!I FIND THE ONE SHOOTING THE BOMB!I” Nami stares in alarm, thinking, “Or at least... I don't think so... The shooter is most likely... Very close to the palace square.” She reacts with “!I” as distant figures stand near a massive explosion cloud marked with large SFX. Voices debate: “No! But if this bomb has a blast radius of 5km, then the shooter might be aiming from a place at least 2.5km away!” “There's no time to think! The bomb's gonna go off in just 10 minutes, rightI” A scarred man growls, “He doesn't care if his agents die...!I” while a small reindeer-like figure yells in panic. Nami continues, “...That's just the kind of person Crocodile is. But why!I He'd only get caught up in the explo-”

A man with a fur collar says, “Then we should hurry up and-” while another figure reacts with “!I” and notes, “Some boss he is...!” In a chaotic clash, a long-nosed man in a cape blocks attacks as a bandaged swordsman with three swords clashes violently, sending debris flying. A goggled character screams “GAHH!” amid impact SFX. A large man marked “B.W.” roars in pain as the fight erupts with motion lines and strikes.

A woman with a ponytail watches as Baroque Works agents surround her. One shouts, “I wonder how high I'll be promoted once I kill you! Found ya, princess! It's the Billions!” The scarred swordsman and the long-nosed man stand back-to-back. The swordsman says, “We don't have time to waste by talking.” The other replies, “10 minutes minus... How many secondsI” They glare intensely as a large “2 SECONDS.” caption appears between them with dramatic impact effects.

Amid the swirling dust cloud, Nami shouts, "Let's split up! But first, we need to get out from this damn dust cloud!" Usopp, heavily bandaged and riding Chopper in his reindeer form, yells "GYAAA!" and "ORAA!" while charging forward. Nami adds, "WE'LL GO ON AHEAD!" as they break through the haze. In close-up, Nami sweats and declares, "THIS IS IT... THE VERY LAST TIME LIMIT..." Someone replies, "Right!" Another voice urges, "Good, let's get going too!" A small figure shouts, "FOR THIS COUNTRY!" The panel ends with the note "10 MINUTES...."

A massive clock tower looms as narration rings out: "THESE 10 MINUTES, WILL DECIDE THIS COUNTRY'S FATE!" The clock ticks loudly with "tsc tsc tsc..." In front of a grand palace, a figure dashes forward while laughter echoes, "HAHAHA!" Crocodile stands in the foreground. The scene cuts to Monkey D. Luffy, bruised and determined, replying simply, "'Course." Crocodile roars back with a wide grin, "YOU REALLY THINK YOU CAN BEAT ME...!I"

Crocodile's back is turned as he addresses Luffy: "But even so, there's still an insurmountable gap between you and I! I am on the level of a Shichibukai...! I will commend you on your escape from death's door..." Luffy glares intensely and shouts, "So what if you're a Shichibukai!I If that's how it is, I'll just be a Hachibukai!" A long, tense sound effect stretches across the panel: "チーーーン!!" Crocodile's face is shown in profile, reacting to the declaration.

Crocodile speaks to a subordinate: "It appears he's saved the princess yet again." The man replies, "He's a pirate, haven't you heard...I" Another figure asks, "Who is that man...I" Vivi, wearing a hat, smiles faintly and says, "Fufu... He's the one who escorted Vivi safely back to AlabastaI" Crocodile narrows his eyes and mutters, "Then..." The final panels show Luffy's arm stretching dramatically as he yells, "GOMU GOMU... PISTOL!" with his fist launching forward.

The opponent dodges Luffy's strike with ease. "And your attacks are meaningless whether wet or not," he declares as a massive "ギュン...!!" sound effect rings out. "A simple dodge," he adds. The stitched-face man then presses his palm forward, explaining, "THE PALM OF MY HAND CAN ABSORB ALL MOISTURE...!" as "シュウウ..." moisture is drawn away. Luffy's eyes widen in shock. "I FORGOT YOU HAD THAT ABILITY!" he yells as the impact sends him flying backward with a loud "ドゴン" and the panicked cry "CRAP!"

Luffy is hurled through the air by the suction, crying "NGHH!" as the force pulls at him. The opponent flexes his hand with "FLEX!" and "ゴゴゴゴ", drawing Luffy in with "SUCK!" and "GUH... DROOP". Standing tall, the man lectures, "Depending on how you use them...! That devil fruit powers can grow more powerful." Luffy, now grinning fiercely with sweat flying, replies, "Do you remember telling me," as he prepares his counter.

Luffy launches forward with "GOMU GOMU PISTOL!" stretching his arm as "TWANG!" and "ピキッ..." echo. The opponent counters with a massive "SHOTGUN!" barrage of sand fists that smash into Luffy, sending him reeling with "AGH-". The man then swings his hook, shouting "DESERT SPADA!" as a blade of sand erupts. Luffy skids back, muttering "Cheeky brat..." under his breath while the opponent glares.

Luffy stares in surprise at the incoming attack, thinking "That attack!I" as the massive sand blade "ワアアアアアアアアアアア" slices through the air toward the city. The desert blade crashes into the palace walls with a thunderous explosion marked by "!!!", sending debris flying. Luffy barely evades the strike in the foreground, shouting "Close call!" as the sand blade tears past him.

The stitched-face fighter glares and asks, "Do you really intend on winningI" Luffy stretches back with a determined grin, shouting "GOMU GOMU..." as he prepares his attack. The opponent warns, "Using the same attacks again and again..." Luffy launches forward with a powerful punch, yelling "AND I'M 100% CONFIDENT!" and "YUP!" as his fist connects, sending the foe flying with a resounding impact and the sound "Yoi..."

Luffy is sent flying through the air amid massive impact lines. He crashes into a barrel of water with a huge "SPLASH". Emerging soaked, Luffy declares, "Exactly what I've been aiming for! This is..." The stitched-face opponent reacts in shock, "WHA!I" as Luffy unleashes his technique: "SABLES! (Sandstorm)". The foe retorts, "As if that wasn't obvious enough..." while Luffy shouts "GET SOAKED!" and the sandstorm erupts violently around them.

A massive impact shakes the area with "AGHH!" as Luffy's attack lands. The stitched-face fighter is hurled backward, crying "MY BARREL! ACK!" while Luffy and the barrel tumble through the air. Wapol laughs triumphantly from below, "KUHAHAHA! AREN'T YOU LOOKING QUITE DESPERATE, STRAWHAT!I" Luffy lands safely with a relieved "WHEW!" as debris and water scatter across the scene.

Wapol looms with arms spread wide, boasting "IT SEEMS THINGS HAVEN'T REALLY CHANGED AT ALL SINCE OUR LAST FIGHT! KUHAHAHA! IF IT WEREN'T FOR THAT BARREL, YOU WOULDN'T BE ABLE TO DO A THING..." The stitched-face fighter watches silently. Luffy, now serious, replies "...You're right." Wapol's ally questions, "A... Are you serious..." Luffy clenches his fist and declares, "NOW I'M NOT THE SAME LUFFY YOU'VE FOUGHT!" as a powerful new attack erupts with the sound "BUT WHAT ABOUT NOW!I"

Luffy stands massively inflated with water, his belly stretched round and striped with stretch marks, arms and legs comically thin. Huge Japanese text "ちゃぽーん!" explodes above him as a speech bubble declares "WATER LUFFY!" Small bubbles read "BURP!" and "URP!" Luffy looks dazed. In the next panel a close-up shows water spraying from his side with the label "LEAK!" as he panics, "OH CRAP! I'M LEAKING!" A smiling girl in a hat laughs, "Aahahaha! I don't think you're supposed to drink so much water." Luffy sweats heavily, replying "Ugh, I'm so full..." while a scarred, stitched-face man stares in disbelief, thinking "IS THIS BRAT... SERIOUS!I"

A grandfather clock ticks "tic toc" in the background. Wapol, enraged with wild hair and open jaws, roars "STOP JOKING AROUND, YOU LITTLE BRAT!" while thinking "OR IS HE TRYING TO MAKE FUN OF ME...!I DOES HE UNDERSTAND THE CURRENT SITUATION...!I" Luffy is blasted backward by a massive cannon blast marked with huge SFX "ドドドドン!!" and "バキバキバキ!!" Water droplets fly as Luffy tumbles through the air, arms flailing. Close-ups show his shocked face and the impact on his water-filled body.

Luffy glares and declares "I'm always serious!" while thinking "MY BODY WON'T...!" and "Just who the hell is joking around!I" He stretches his arms back with the words "GOMU GOMU..." Wapol's face is shown sweating and cursing "CURSES..." In the huge lower panel Luffy launches a double-fisted strike labeled "BAZOOKA!" The impact explodes across Wapol's body with massive SFX "バキバキバキバキ!!" and impact lines as Wapol is driven back.
